Hello, I was just given some information that I’d like to pass on here, since I know there are a bunch of radioapple authors who are active on tumblr.

I’m sure a lot of you know about the troll(s) that follows the top!Alastor and bottom!Lucifer tags on AO3. They come into any fic with those tags and just spout the most vile shit at the author. They use many different accounts, which makes them difficult to block.

Well, it seems they’ve upped their game and are now using major plot spoilers from the leaks in their comments. This obviously sucks a lot, and I wanted to give a heads up so that authors could try and take a few measures to protect themselves from spoilers, if that’s what they wish.

Firstly, here’s the known handles for the troll(s):

ph7toow, Bellx1, kerramio, LeeioM, bassthyme096446, lpikk, mrymqa, kerranyou, enjesu, nymppi, s1004, 009009d, mishayouH, ellfnu, mousem9, luq_hoho.

Best to block those as a start. They may have other accounts though, so consider moderating comments and turning off anonymous ones. I know that sucks, but it’s easy for them to comment anonymously, so if you’re really worried then perhaps keep to registered users only for a while.

If you do get hit with one, don’t respond to them. They do this to get attention, and getting mad at them only feeds it. Just report the comment and account as a TOS violation (for harassment and for potentially getting Amazon’s eye on AO3, something they do not want), screenshot it, and then delete it.

We lost a legend yesterday, General Charles “Chuck” Elwood Yeager. Chuck Yeager became an ace in WWII (Oct. 12, 1944), shooting 5 German planes down in 1 day and then shot 4 down in one day a month later. He totaled 13 confirmed shot downs of enemy aircraft during the war. He was the first man to break the sound barrier in the Bell X-1 on October 14, 1947, doing so with 2 broken ribs that he sustained the day before. And then in December 1953, piloting the X-1A, flew nearly 2 and 1/2 times faster than the speed of sound, setting a world speed record. He was a test pilot, flying more than 150 military aircraft and acquiring more than 10,000 flight hours. And although he wasn’t allowed to be one of the first astronauts in NASA’s Mercury program, due to not having a college degree, in 1962 he became commander of the school at Edwards Air Force Base that trained prospective astronauts. In 1975, he retired from the Air Force as a Brigadier General, being the highest decorated pilot in Ú.S. history. This man became a true legend in the world of aircraft and flight.
