OT3 OMINIS GAUNT X MC X SEBASTIAN SALLOW
CHARACTERS ARE AGED UP HERE.
ot3, fluff, sfw, pregnancy, mc is expecting, no use of y/n
enjoy♥
**
“How is she?” Ominis asked as soon as he heard the healer open the door. He heard her rustle a bit, a comforting hand on his elbow.
“She is absolutely fine Mr. Gaunt, just needs to rest. Was nothing but low sugar levels and mild dehydration something completely normal when one is expecting twins.”
Ominis nodded, thanking all the gods above and letting relief slowly wash over him. Oh, how he wished his husband was there next to him as well.
“Could I come see her?” He asked, voice a little strained.
“Of course, but I would like to advise you not to startle her for now.”
“Understandable, thank you” Ominis nodded and stepped ahead, extending his right hand for the door as his wand pulsed red on his left.
“Ominis?” Her weak little voice said and Ominis heart broke in a million pieces but he remembered the healer's instructions. No startling her so he opted for smiling reassuringly and reaching out for her to grab his hand. Once she did he leaned over and graced her forehead with his lips.
“Hello my love, how are you feeling?”
“Ominis… I'm sorry…”
“No, love. None of that. You are fine, all three of you are fine and that's what matters”
“Ominis…” She said again, this time her voice wobbled enough to let him know she was crying.
“My love, please. You did nothing wrong, let yourself rest my dear.” He reassured her now speaking into her ear, his free hand coming down to rub her swollen belly over the sheets.
“Where is Sebastian?” She asked after a couple of minutes of breathing along with Ominis.
“He was notified of your situation my love but you know how his work is, can hardly get out of it fast enough and much less on such a short notice.”
She nodded, understanding but still hating the fact that he couldn't be there with her as well.
“WHERE IS SHE?! OMINIS!” A recognizable voice was yelling from the hallway and Ominis stood up as Sebastian struggled out of the grasp of the Hospital security and barged into their room looking absolutely mental.
“Darling! Ominis love, what happened? Is she alright?” He asked in a voice strained with pain and teary eyes.
“She's alright Sebastian, please calm down dear.” Ominis said, walking towards his voice until he felt Sebastian grab his hand, then he heard a faint cry from her and the unmistakable sweet sound of a kiss.
“I'm alright, Sebastian” She started trying to calm him down further. “Growing two children in me is proving to be quite a challenge for my body. I just need to take my bed rest more seriously”
“Merlin's beard, I was told that you were here and nothing else. I thought the worst…”
Ominis had to shut him up before he could upset her further. He placed a gentle hand on his shoulder and gave it a squeeze.
“Nothing that a little rest won’t fix, dear. That’s all it is.” Ominis said, rubbing Sebastian’s back as he kissed the bump over the sheets. His hunched figure and her shape lying on the hospital bed coming to him through his wand pulses. They were there, solid and their magic returning to him like an echo, a beautiful, physical reminder that everything was going to be okay.
“I’m so sorry for scaring you both. I was fine until I fainted.” She sniffled, causing Ominis and Sebastian to shush her reassuringly.
“None of that darling, please rest some before we get to take you home. I’ll take a few days out of work.”
“No, Sebastian!” She protested. “I know how important your position is right now… I don’t want to be a burden…”
“Love, my dearest.” Sebastian said, his voice firm and laced with so much love that it even made Ominis chest flutter. “I was planning on it already. You need us both next to you. You are carrying our children, two of them. I’m afraid there’s nothing I could ever do to repay you for this sacrifice.”
Ominis nodded, smiling in their direction, standing right next to Sebastian he also placed one big, comforting hand on the bump. “You know dear, it’s not very often that our husband is able to string his sentences so eloquently and so honestly as today. I’d say it’s best to take his word, don’t you think?”
“Hey…” Sebastian protested but his heart wasn’t on it, of course. He smiled as she let out a small giggle, a sound that made Ominis smile real big for the first time that day.
“You are absolutely right, Ominis dear. I won’t object anymore” She replied with a smile on her voice. Ominis loved it.

Amethyst and Peridot's first make-out session. Written or drawn. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oh my god
I can’t believe I wrote a small fic.
-
Kissing is nothing new by now. Little pecks here and there, teasingly loud slobbery smooches Amethyst would give Peridot, deep jubilant celebratory kisses after missions. Been there, done that.
Making out, though.
“You can continue?” Peridot had asked, first time Amethyst suggested they keep going. “There’s more?”
Then she ran off to ‘prepare for this’. Which was fine, if she wasn’t ready, though Amethyst had to wonder what exactly her ‘preparation’ meant.
Especially now that Peridot’s back. She’s sitting on a couch in Amethyst’s room, looking very eager and confident, a smile on her face. It’s cute. It’s kinda hot.
Amethyst plops down next to her. “So, you’re ready this time?”
“Yes!” Peridot sits up straight. “Let’s commence the make-out session.”
Without warning, Amethyst leans forward really close, her face just millimeters from Peridot’s own.
“Are you sure?” She asks, slowly. Her voice is low, quiet, little more than a whisper. It gets her the intended effect: Peridot blushes hard, her eyes widening, smile wavering.
Amethyst grins.
Peridot responds by kissing her.
It surprises Amethyst a bit - she’s used to making the first move. Still, that was rightfully smooth, and Amethyst quickly reacts, kissing back firmly, again briefly wondering what preparation Peridot has been doing.
It’s polite kisses at first - that’s the word for it, simple touches on the lips, lingering longer each time. It’s their first time making out, gotta start slow and pure. Amethyst reaches up both hands to cup Peridot’s face.
She feels Peridot’s hands mirror the action, fingers brushing against her cheeks, and Amethyst hums a bit in approval. She feels the twitch of joy from Peridot, no doubt satisfied at doing the correct thing, and giggles.
Now.
Now, Amethyst parts her lips, and Peridot immediately imitates her, and when Amethyst stretches out her tongue to run it across Peridot’s lips, Peridot squeaks, but doesn’t stop. Doesn’t let Amethyst stop, her hands finding their way into Amethyst’s hair and pressing their bodies closer.
Somewhere inside Amethyst, she’s kinda proud of Peridot? Like, she always knew Peridot’s a fast learner but this was something else.
There’s a sudden pressure on her lower lip, and Amethyst realizes with a jolt that it’s teeth.
Peridot’s biting her, very softly.
Wow.
Amethyst hums again, but before she could respond to that, it’s replaced by a different sensation.
Pressure again - but it’s gentler. Peridot is sucking on her lip.
Okay. W o w.
Her hands are still tangled in Amethyst’s hair, only now her fingers are lightly dragging themselves across her scalp. Amethyst shivers, pure pleasure rolling down her head and neck then completely crashing into every inch of her body. Her own hands slides to to Peridot’s shoulders, pulling her closer, and she’s trying not to dig her fingers too hard into Peridot’s skin, but she might have anyways.
Only when Peridot finishes running her fingers through the entire length of Amethyst’s long locks do they part.
“Dude,” Amethyst says. “Dude. That was incredible.”
Peridot blinks at her, before laughing a bit. Light and hesitant, and Amethyst’s been with Peridot long enough that she can recognize both smugness and nervousness, somehow, in that laugh.
“So that was…acceptable?”
“Acceptable?! That was great!” Amethyst exclaims. She’s floored, she’s bedazzled, she’s got stars in her vision. “What the heck kind of preparation have you been doing?”
“I did my research!” Peridot says proudly. “The human internet offers a wide breadth of instruction. Particularly the fan created fictional stories of Camp Pining Hearts.”
Amethyst snorts. “Peri, you’re amazing.”
Peridot’s face is all blue-green now. “So are you, Amethyst.”
With that, Amethyst tackles Peridot to kiss again.
-
I actually really wanted to see Peridot be the one making Amethyst go ‘Wow’ with stars in her eyes.

Note
On the friends thing- they didn't acknowledge it but Joey wore a NYC firefighters shirt EVERY episode for the whole season after 9/11 happened?? Idk I think the show was too cheery to actually discuss it but you could assume if it did that Joey was affected by it?
Oh my, I had no idea!! I’ve rewatched that show about ten times and I never noticed that! Interesting.

Random Amedot Fic.
Steven meets two new Gems while breaking out of space jail. AU, Amedot ‘Roleswap’, Amethyst/Peridot are a permafusion mom to Steven.
Note: Not the Extramom AU I’ve been focusing, but a variation of one. Something I did for fun, idk.
*
*
Wait a minute, was that–
Peridot?
Steven skidded to a stop, completely bewildered at prisoner of the cell he almost passed by. He stepped closer to the cell barrier, where the green Gem was lying on the ground in fetal position facing away from him, muttering something about ‘clods’.
“Why are you in…” Steven started to ask, then stopped when the Gem immediately sat up and turned to look at him.
“Steven!”
It…was Peridot, but also wasn’t. Peridot, the Homeworld Gem who tried to reactivate Kindergarten and then came to Earth with Jasper and hurted his whole family - she was tall with robot limb thingys and her gem was on her chest.
The Gem he was looking at, though, was small and had normal hands and legs, and she was wearing a different outfit, and her gem was on her forehead instead.
Maybe Jasper hit him harder on the head than he had thought.
“Steven!” Peridot-But-Not said, crawling up close to the barrier. “You’re out. You’re hurt.”
“…Peridot?”
“Yes, I’m Peridot.” She looked exasperated. And concerned, embarrassed – a whole mix of emotions. “A different Peridot. You– I’m– Look, Steven, I’m not your enemy, I’m an ally. How did you escape?”
“A different Peridot?” This was getting really confusing.
“Steven,” Peridot-But-Different growled. “This isn’t the time to be dense. There are multiple Peridots, there are multiple Gems of the same gem-type, I’m your– I’m a different Peridot than the antagonistic one you’re familiar with. Argh! I told them we should explained this to you…”
Multiple Peridots. Homeworld was weird.
“Um.” Steven said, trying to clear his thoughts. Focus on the situation at hand. “Well, I’m looking for my friends. I need to find them and get out of here. If I help you get out, can you help me?”
Peridot looked at him, then barked out a laugh. “Yes, absolutely. I’m looking for my teammates as well. I told you, we’re allies. Now, how did you escape?”
“Oh, I just kind of–” Steven reached a hand out towards the barrier; then into the field and past it, parting it to create a gap. Peridot’s eyes widen, and she leaned in for a better look.
“Of course,” She muttered, as Steven stepped into the field to make the gap big enough for her to pass through. “You’re organic. This Gem destabilizing field is useless when it comes to that. Homeworld tech is still overlooking such threats…”
Once Peridot was out, she turned to him, a grin on her face. “Great! Let’s go!”
*
As he and Peridot snuck quietly through the hallways of the spaceship, Steven realized something.
“How did you know my name?” Steven asked. “Do you… know me?”
“It’s you who don’t know anything.” Peridot said. “Not really a fault of yours, but when we get out of this mess, we are all going to have a Talk.”
“Uh, okay!” That didn’t really make a lot of sense, but a lot of things that Peridot was talking about didn’t really make sense to Steven. “I’ll introduce you to the Crystal Gems! I’m sure they’ll be happy to meet you.”
This only made Peridot laugh again. She had a smug sort of laugh; it sounded kind of like Fluorite’s distinctive cocky chuckle.
Fluorite. Steven had to find her, make sure she was okay, and then give her the tightest, biggest hug ever. Jasper had poofed her, then scooped up Fluorite’s two gems; clenched them in her hands, so that Steven was afraid Jasper was going to shatter Fluorite right then and there.
He could still hear Pearl’s screams, and Ruby’s charging yell. They must be locked up here as well. Sapphire too.
Steven sped up his pace, and Peridot followed quickly behind him.
*
When they heard singing, Steven recognized it as Sapphire’s and tried to follow it. Along the way, they found and set free Ruby, who then decided they were too slow. So she ran off on her on to look for Sapphire, yelling out the blue Gem’s name the whole while.
“She’s going to get caught at this rate if she keeps being so rash!” Peridot hissed. “That’s not even the direction of the singing.”
“Ruby and Sapphire are really close.” Steven explained. “She’s just worried.”
“As if she’s the only one.” Peridot scowled, and Steven remembered that she was looking for someone as well.
“Who are your friends you’re trying to look for? What do they look like?”
Peridot stopped, glancing over at Steven. She was still frowning - it seemed to be the default expression for her - but he saw a faint bluish blush on her cheeks. He smiled encouragingly.
“Amethyst. She’s small like you and she’s purple.” Peridot continued walking. “Steven. When we find her, she and I will explain everything.”
Then somewhere near them, a door went whooshed, and they flattened themselves against the wall just in time for heavy footsteps to stomp past them.
*
Future Vision was just as amazing as the first time he experienced it.
Taking Peridot by the hand and running, Steven followed the path as if he ran through it before: left, left, right, and there was Pearl, sitting listlessly in her cell. In the cell next door was a Gem he had never seen before, but was small and purple, like Peridot had described her to be.
“Pearl!”
At his shout, both Gems looked up, and both shouted his name. “Steven!”
Then a rush of words between everyone.
“You’ve escaped–!”
“How–”
“You’re okay–!”
“Amethyst–!”
“Oh, no, he’s not, look at his eye–”
“Peri, is that you–”
“You met our Peridot–”
“Did they do anything to you–”
“I’m fine–”
“I’m okay!” Steven said, running up to Pearl’s cell. “So is Ruby and Sapphire. And Peridot helped me! Pearl, you’ll never believe what I can do!”
Before she could do or say anything, Steven stuck himself into the barrier and held out his arms. Pearl gasped, at first looking like she wanted to drag him away, but then understood and crawled through. The moment she was out, she pulled him into a hug.
A few feet away, Amethyst and Peridot stood in front of each other. Peridot was smiling - a wide, genuine smile - and Amethyst was giggling, conversing in low tones.
When Steven made a gap in the barrier to Amethyst’s cell, the Gem rolled out and immediately tackled Peridot for a hug. The green Gem hesitated, shot Steven and Pearl a look; but relented, burying her face in Amethyst’s shoulder.
“Ste-man! You’re amazing!” Amethyst shouted, when she and Peridot broke apart, keeping an arm slung around Peridot’s shoulders. “Being a big hero, saving everyone with some fancy organic anti-magic trick.”
“It’s not ‘fancy organic anti-magic’, it’s just that Gem tech never accounted for a half-human being such as him–”
Amethyst rolled her eyes. She gave Peridot a peck on the cheek, making the green gem squeak, successfully stopping all words.
“Alright, you guys, we can celebrate later.” Pearl interjected. “We need to get to the control room.”
“Oh, yeah, we gotta go beat up Jasper and that other Peridot. But just a moment.” Amethyst grinned at Steven. “Hey, Steven, check this out.”
She turned to Peridot. “Ready?”
Peridot, still blushing a vivid bright blue-green, only gave a curt nod. Her Gem started glowing, and so did Amethyst’s.
Laughing, Amethyst took Peridot’s hand, and spun her out, before pulling her back in. They twirled, bodies turning into light.
In a flash, Fluorite was there, with her bright eyes and cat-like smile, her arms wide open. Steven gasped, and threw himself into them.
“Steven Quartz Universe.” She said, holding him tight. “Thank you, thank you.”

…Somewhat of a writing exercise.
Hope it was fun to read!

...Um, I’m just so happy and motivated today, so I wrote some small scenes from my ExtraMom AU idea where Peridot’s been a Crystal Gem all along (thank you @crakkers for helping out).
Scene 1: So if Peridot was there with the Gems, think of all the work she could have done and how she could help Rose Quartz out! What if she took on the duty of understanding Steven’s hybrid biology to keep him healthy?
“Steven, hold still!” Peridot demanded, as she examined his arm, needle in hand.
“Sorry! I just don't like needles.” Steven said, trying to lean back as far as possible.
He sat at the kitchen counter, Pearl next to him holding his hand, Amethyst watching from the other side of the counter. It was his monthly check-up, and he always dreaded the blood sample part.
“I know, you tell me this every month! One would think you’ll get used to it by now.”
“Steven, I'm right here, don't worry,” Pearl said gently. “You can squeeze my hand as tightly as you want.”
He already was though, and his eyes were shut. But as soon as he felt the needle draw near, he flinched.
“Gahhh! Steven!” Peridot tugged his arm back to her. “Amethyst!”
“Right. Yo, Steven, look!”
He turned his head, and saw Amethyst stuffing four bananas in her mouth, two on each side, like four tusks. Then she shapeshifted her head to an elephant’s, and trumpeted. Steven laughed.
“Amethyst, elephants only have two tusks.” Steven said.
Amethyst swallow all the bananas whole. “I know. I was hungry.”
Pearl wasn't as amused. “Those were for Steven!”
“There's still like, one left.”
“Done.” Peridot said, sliding the needle out of Steven’s arm, a test tube full of blood in her hand. A Crying Breakfast Friend band-aid hid the tiny wound.
“Alright, Steven!” Amethyst leaned over, hand outstretched, and Steven complied with a high five. Pearl gave him a gentle pat on the back.
“Yes. Good job.” Peridot hopped off her stool, all her equipment already gathered up in her arms. “I'm going to my lab. The results should be ready in an hour.”
“Hey, wait up, nerd!” Amethyst jumped over the counter to join her, falling in step, and the two disappeared behind the temple wall.
“Hmm, that should be enough time to go to the grocery store.” Pearl mused. “Steven, would you like to join me?”
“Okay!”
As they walked towards town, Steven asked a question he had had on his mind for a while.
“Pearl, why is Peridot the one doing my check-ups? Connie says only doctors do them, in clinics, or hospitals.”
“Well, we certainly can't take you to a human healer. Your mother tasked Peridot with watching over your growth, and she's been dedicated to it this whole time.”
“But why just Peridot? You're really smart too! And you would probably be a nicer doctor.”
Pearl blushed. “Thank you, Steven. But Peridot used to--”
She hesitated, before beginning again. “Out of all of us, Peridot is the most knowledgeable about Gem... development. And she studies as much as she can about human biology, since before you were born.”
“I do help out, of course, often.” She added.
*
Scene 2: Amedot angst, On the Run AU. Fluorite is Amethyst/Peridot fusion.
Fluorite was in one of the holes high up on the cliff face.
“Fl--!” Steven had tried to shout, but stopped when Fluorite shook her head and held a finger at her lips. She summoned her whip, dangled one end to ground, and motioned for Steven to climb up.
Half climbing, half being pulled up, Steven reached the hole and was helped in by the fusion.
“This is one of the biggest holes made here,” Fluorite told Steven, as he sat down and pulled his knees to his chest. “We’re in the Citrine section; they’re already huge, but this one is about 20% larger than standard. She was lucky. It was an anomaly, but a good one. The opposite side of spectrum.”
She grinned. It wasn’t a very nice looking one.
Steven didn’t how to reply to that.
“The Kindergarten is in terrible shape.” Fluorite looked out into the canyon. “You should have seen it at it’s peak. For every batch, there was a small, official welcome ceremony.”
He had been to the Kindergarten before, just once with Peridot to scavenge some material. Peridot had told him she used to work there 6,000 years ago: she grew Gems. Then she made Steven promise to never, ever tell anyone she took him to the Kindergarten, and she herself never spoke of it again.
It was a bit of a shock, and he took several days to process it. It made sense, Gems having to be made in the Earth. But the secrecy and haunting atmosphere unnerved him, and he knew it wasn’t a good place. So he can’t even imagine what the Kindergarten at it’s peak looked like.
After a few minutes of silence, Steven spoke.
“Are-- Are Amethyst and Peridot okay?”
“Not really.” Fluorite said bluntly. “They always had mixed feelings about this place. Kindergarten was important to them both. They needed a break, which is why I’m here.”
One of her arms reached out to softly grip Steven by the shoulder.
“Steven Quartz Universe. You should know about what the Kindergarten is, and what Peridot and Amethyst had to do with it. Listen up, it’s storytime.”
Notes: Think of all the good it would have done. The Gems that would have been made, Peridot says in ‘It Could’ve Been Great’. I keep bringing this fact up, but Peridot was responsible for maintaining Kindergartens. Responsible for growing gems, ushering in new generations - creating life, in a way. Then the choice became either Gem-life or Earth-life. That Amethyst could have possibly never been created, that’s an unsettling thing to think about. Kindergarten’s a significant place for both Peridot and Amethyst in this AU.
Plus, given how Peridot easily gives away information and likes to blunt ‘state the facts’, I don’t think she would be a fan of keeping everything quiet around Steven.

This is gonna turn into a full fic at this rate.

Short Human!AU Amedot fic

Title: Invitation Summary: Human!AU, College!AU. Amethyst tries to invite Peridot to hang out.  Rating: G Notes: I love the hijabi!Peridot idea for human AUs, it’s wonderful.
-
“No.”
Peridot’s response was terse and cold, like always. Really, Amethyst should gotten used to it by now, Peridot was eternally cranky, yet it still annoyed her a bit.
Actually, it annoyed her a lot.
“Okay, what is your problem?” Amethyst asked, almost too loud but then she remembered they were in a library.
She thought they were getting along, really getting along, not just as partners for this stupid partner project for class. But like friends or something.
Yet each time Amethyst offered Peridot to hang out, grab something to eat, Peridot turned her down. It would be one thing if she was polite, but Peridot didn’t even look up when rejecting Amethyst’s offer, dismissing Amethyst without a second thought. That really jabbed at her.
Now, though, she had to look at Amethyst, and Peridot did, eyes narrowing behind her huge glasses.
“…What?”
“Yeah, acting like hanging out with me is the worst thing ever. You don’t want to, you’re busy, fine, but you don’t have to be rude about.”
Now Peridot looked a bit bewildered. “I was being rude?”
...Then again, maybe Amethyst underestimated how nerdy and socially clueless Peridot was.
“Well, maybe not rude but, like, you could at least say ‘No, thank you’.” Amethyst leaned back in her seat, shrugging. “I thought like, since we’re becoming friends, we could go do something besides this project.”
“That would be…fine.” Peridot said. “We can hang out, but I rather you text me beforehand so we can plan a weekend outing.”
That was so like Peridot that Amethyst had to smile a bit. "Okay. We can ‘plan an outing’. You only free on weekends?"
"No, I just prefer not to get distracted on a school day. I need to maintain a 4.0."
That was the first thing Amethyst learned about Peridot. After being paired up and meeting, Peridot asked what her GPA was, so she can "determine if she had a responsible partner and not a freeloader." Amethyst's 3.4 was "I guess that's acceptable".
Not at very good start. But now here they were.
Peridot frowned at bit, looking down at her tablet. "I... Thank you for the invitation, Amethyst. I didn't mean to appear to be rude. I just can't eat out."
That’s just weird. "Why?"
"I'm Muslim." Peridot said, as if that explained everything. At Amethyst's stare, she sighed. "I follow a specific diet, so I can't eat at random places because they might not be halal."
Oh. Ooooohhhh, right, Amethyst knew that, she should have realized. Oops.
“Is that why you still bring a lunch box to college like a grade schooler?” Amethyst asked.
“There’s nothing wrong with that!” Peridot huffed. “Besides, that way, it saves money.”
It was a cute lunch box too, with green rhinestones glued on like a kid’s. Probably was, Peridot just kept it with her all these years.
“Yeah, yeah, I get it.” Amethyst grinned. “You can bring it with you when we hang out.”
“That won’t be necessary.” Peridot said, scowling, cheeks flushed. “It’s not like I can’t eat anything. You’ve seen me with Starbucks.”
Amethyst laughed, standing up and gathering her stuff. “So I guess I’ll text you?”
“That’s what we agreed on.”
Slinging her backpack onto her shoulder, Amethyst gave Peridot a wave goodbye. “See ya, nerd.”
Peridot returned the wave.
As she walked out of the library, Amethyst turned on her phone. Gotta be some good halal places around here, she hoped, as she opened up Google and typed in her question.
