The 100 did the Clarke & Bellamy relationship so dirty that I could never bring myself to watch the final season. I never will, either, knowing how it ends. But fanvids like this one from emma b. remind me that Bellarke’s good days were very good indeed.

Clarke Griffin has it all. She’s popular, an artistic prodigy and has a wealthy family to boot. So when her perfect world comes crashing down around her, it’s time to sink or swim.

She tests positive for the Homicidal Tendency Syndrome gene, also known as the kill gene. Clarke is plucked from her comfortable life and placed into a school with people just like her - carriers, delinquents.

When she meets Bellamy Blake there, he looks like everything they say HTS carriers are. A monster, a criminal. Yet, he’s the one who protects her.

Clarke thinks existing in this school is the hardest thing they’ll have to do, but as the outside world falls into chaos, she soon learns that things can always get worse. At Mount Weather training camp, they’re made perform certain tasks that make them question who they are - make them wonder if they really are as evil as the world accuses them of being.

At least she has Bellamy. Clarke isn’t sure how they are supposed to be these violent monsters when they can do something so human, like fall in love with one another.

When I found out that Jen (@eyessharpweaponshot) had been unable to reach her artist as we neared the end of the Bellarke Big Bang (@bellarkebigbang) I said nope, I’m on it. This was the first Bellarke fan vid I ever watched. I had just started shopping them the night earlier... a special episode aired where I saw undeniable chemistry and started to hope for what this relationship could be. That was 1x08.

C O U N T D O W N - day before the premiere

I can’t believe that tomorrow (in my case a day after) will be our very last season premiere.

When it comes to Bellarke fanvideos I naturally gravitate more towards the old ones, which emphasize their dynamic from the early seasons. I just loved their enemies to co-leaders period. It was hard to admit that I haven’t found my favourite vid which also contains S6...

... until I’ve found this. This is LOVE people, my new obsession, the video that I can watch every single day many times and I don’t get tired of it. And I can’t really tell you why.

Maybe I love the fact that it is focusing on the CPR scene and the other ones complete them so well and also fit with the music.

JUST A NOTE:

Taking part in Bellarke Big Bang was difficult for me this year.

The fandom and the drama that erupted from it was insane. Season 7 has been disappointing in spots. I ADORED my experience last year working with Siv so it was hard to compare it to this year. I hated my fic for the longest time and felt extremely inadequate while writing it.

The cherry on top was having no paired artwork with my fic. I understood and accepted it but seeing everyone else fics with such amazing pieces to make them complete was hard. I just kept thinking everyone is so lucky to have them because our creators are just FIRE.

Then, @sparklyfairymira reached out to me and told me she’d like to create something for my fic as I was left out. The kindness actually made me sob. She deserves to be shown ALL the love just for that. Even if she had made me nothing, the gesture was more than enough.

What she created though, I could never have even IMAGINED the brilliance. You can check out her pieces here (trailer, gifset 1 and gifset 2) and I’ve posted about them on my tumblr, twitter and ao3 but I just wanted to write this post to say a massive thank you to her for being so wonderful, patient, kind and lovely to me.

Thank you to everyone who has read on I Found Peace in Your Violence, commented on it, shared it, sent me asks and dm’s, screamed about it in tweets and left me kudos/bookmarked it/subscribed on ao3. Thank you to my fandom friends who have hyped me beyond belief and encouraged me.

Need Some Advice

I have a Bellarke video I’ve worked on & off on since the season 6 finale & it’s just been sitting on my computer. If I post it on my YouTube account would anyone even be interested in watching it? It’s honestly probably gonna be my last one since this season isn’t giving me anything to work on and I just don’t find joy in it anymore sadly
