We are almost two months away from the beginning of the end and I’m already not okay. This show has given me such beautiful friendships and I will forever have a special place in my heart for it.

The last few weeks have been really rough. Being in a trade school, there’s nothing I can do to continue school, so I’m going insane with nothing to do and stressing about how I’m going to finish when all this madness is said and done.

I appreciate all of you and I hope you can find some comfort and joy in these uncertain times, I know I’m trying to.

bellarke fam, may we meet again.

I’ve been thinking about this post for a few weeks now, I’ve looked over my list of fandom friends and fandom greats, all the people who have enhanced my shipping experience, and I just want to say thank you. Not to a terrible showrunner, or writers who seriously let me down with wasted potential, but to the ones who truly loved Bellarke.

Bob & Eliza, with all their faults, pulled me in with their chemistry and talents. And I’m so grateful that they brought these characters and the most epic ship to life before my eyes.

I started watching this show after I saw random gifs on tumblr and a Netflix suggestion that wouldn’t go away, when my son was a few months old and I was in a pretty dark place. I binged before S4, spent the summer getting lost in fic, and officially joined the fandom in S5. I slowly began to find my voice again with these space babies and I’m so proud of all I’ve accomplished in this fandom. The 100 has kept me afloat in the deep waters and been a light on the dark days. I will miss it so much.

But mainly I want to say thank you to all of you. thank you for your metas, your gifsets, your videos, your fanart, your reviews, your liveblogs, your playlists, and your fanfics...you have made this fandom so special for me to be a part of.

I feel a bit nooby but do you mind explaining what bfsn is? I’ve never heard of it :p

For sure!  BFSN stands for Bellarke Fan?  Fam?  (I’m not entirely sure what the F stands for but it’s something along those lines) Selfie Night.  It’s one day a week (it used to be Tuesdays but now it seems to be Wednesdays so I think it changes with show day?) and you post a selfie or a pic of something and write about something.  I usually talk about my week and like maybe what I’m looking forward to in that night’s episode.  That seems to be the general what you talk about thing.  I am terrible at remembering to do it lol even if I get tagged so my contributions are pretty sporadic but yeah!  Hope that helps!

Happy BFSN fam! Life has been chaotic so here are some selfies from last week. I’m also about to be traveling every weekend for like the next month?? so life is coming at me fast right now lol.

First show day where we haven’t seen spoilers/leaks?? I’m so excited! Last week’s episodes was honestly one of my favorites, and the psychosis scenes were aaammaazing. And so many simmering Bellarke feels underneath the surface. The way they looked at each at the end after they had come out of it, both appearing to be completely stunned and broken by what they did? Give my angst heart all of it!!! And not Bellarke related but omg poor Murphy, that guy needs a break for a bit. Please. 

Personal plug: I posted the second/last part of my BTVS!AU this past week! You can read it here! The comments people have been leaving have made me so ridiculously happy and the amount of crossover fans is amazing.

Fic Shout Out: I have completely fallen in love with “luminous beings” by @kindclaws! It’s a WIP Star Wars AU and tbh, I know pretty much nothing about Star Wars but it doesn’t matter!! Happy BFSN! I know I participate sporadically at best, but this week I wanted to share a few things: first, I had a vocal duet at church with the music director, which I recorded audio of! It’s on the faint side because I turned my phone voice memo recorder on and left it on my seat before going up to sing, but you can still hear me decently if you turn the volume up. My part is Auld Lang Syne!

Second, here’s my contribution to that 2009-2019 glow up meme! Well, technically the second photo was taken a few days before 2019 started, but I haven’t taken any selfies since and I look the same.

Third, I decided to run a raffle to help cover some expenses for general living as well as some con expenses, so I can go and network and get more customers and see the cast. I’m having an incredible start to my week. Last night I met Oscar Bond, a highly decorated hair stylist, who was teaching a class I was able to attend. He model he was going to use didnt show, so lucky me got the chance of a lifetime to be his. And by the end of the night, I gained a mentor and friend.

Other then that, not much has changed. I’m still losing my mind with hiatus and I want to see my Beliza be Bellarke on screen in real time again.

BFSN means Bellarke Fam Selfie Night.

It’s for people who watch The 100 who ship Bellarke. Basically every Tuesday (since that is the day The 100 airs) we post selfie, pictures of pets, scenery, anything really and write short blurbs about what we’ve been up to over the last week or however long it’s been since we’ve done one. 

Since The 100 is not airing right now, we’re mostly ramping each other up and talking about how everything going. 

Shipping bellarke isn’t really a requirement, most of us do ship bellarke. If you ever decide to watch The 100 and end up liking bellarke, look us up. The people I usually tag/are tagged by are some of the nicest, sweeties fans I’ve ever met and are definitely amazing.

Conageddon 2 - Sunday Recap

The final day of Conageddon was jam packed and full of surprises. 

I started the day by sitting in on the beginning of Richard’s panel but then eventually ducked out so I could get in line for autographs with Chelsey. I was third in line for autographs and while I was in line Chelsey asked if anyone had a pen so she could write out “Let’s show them how to live” for someone who wanted it as a tattoo. I had recently purchased a Bellarke pen from Fangril Probs Inc that has the 99. Bellamy Blake 100. Clarke Griffin on it. I handed Chelsey my pen and said I’ll want that back though. She looked down, saw what was printed on it. Then she started laughing mischievously got up out of her chair ran out the door pushing it closed behind her. It was so silly. Chelsey is so silly and fun to be around. When it was my turn for autographs I told her that leading up to the finale (which is also when tickets were going on sale) I didn’t really know whose VIP I wanted to get because I would have been happy to spend time with any of the cast. But the instant the finale was over through my tears I was just like “Well know i HAVE to get Chelsey’s.” Her reaction was so sweet and she told me about how she was watching the episode with Luisa, Tasya and Sachin and how all of a sudden she just felt arms wrapping around her sitting on the couch. I told her that Anna and I sat hugging and crying after for a while. When I showed her what I wanted signed I told her how happy I was that the line “Maybe we should just shocklash Pike’s fascist ass and hand him to the grounders.” was so prominent. She laughed and told me that is her all-time favorite line. Which lead to her writing “I won’t hand you to the grounders” on my autograph. We took our selfies and I told her how I had gone back on my phone and found pictures from the pizza place in Banff we talked about during her panel the previous day. So we chatted briefly about Banff and Jasper and how gorgeous it is there and then I was on my way. 

After Chelsey I stopped over by Tasya for my combo with her. She is so stunning in person I couldn’t really comprehend it lol. She was a total sweetheart and I told her how I was excited to learn she speaks Portuguese because my sister studied it in college. Her eyes lit up when I told her and we talked about her dad being from Brazil. 

By then Anna and Tarra wee done doing their photo ops with Richard so we headed back to the autograph room. Tarra and Anna got their autographs with Chelsey. Once again Chelsey was hilarious and a total sweetheart. Tarra has always been super into “background” characters and she told Chelsey about how much she loved Harper and Monroe from the beginning. Chelsey was so flattered and told us she was going to message Katie (Monroe) about what Tarra said. Chelsey also asked us what it meant that Anna and Tarra were wearing shirts that said “100% John Murphy Trash.” She thought that it meant they were saying Murphy was trash. We clarified what being trash for something means and she laughed. After Anna moved over to the Tasya line Chelsey yelled over to Richard “I’m Richard Harmon trash!” He yelled back “Who taught you that?” and Chelsey was like “Anna!”

I then went over to capture Anna getting her autographs from Tasya. Her husband loves Echo so she was going to surprise him with her autograph. She told him all about how much he loves Echo and her reaction was priceless. She was so flattered and a total sweetheart.

Once I caught the moment Tarra and I ran off to our photo op with Bob. I had a solo one and then Tarra had bought one for us to do together for my birthday. We realized we should have told Bob the day before about a funny story from when she first got me to watch The 100. She had already seen all of season one and half of 2. We were watching Murphy’s Law and she ended up babbling on and on about how much Bellamy was her fave, and it just so happened to be during the scene where Bellamy hangs Murphy (#awkward). Since I was doing two poses I decided that I would do my solo photo first, that way as Tarra was walking in I could quickly tell him the story. His response was “oh so Bellamy at his finest.” Bob with the jokes people. Then we took the picture and after I was like oh yeah, well look where we are now pointing to my Bellamy shirt. And he made a joke about things working out in the end.

Then we went into the ballroom for Bob’s panel. I decided to turn my story into a question so I got in line as soon as Jo told us we could. Able to elaborate more than in the photo room I fleshed out the story a bit. It was hilarious because Bob was like oh you gotta cut her some slack he turns it around in season 2 when I told him she’d seen into season 2 when I was only on season 1. Bob then gave a very lengthy answer to me asking when his personal perception of Bellamy changed in S1, looking back at me throughout his answer.

We all wanted to get some water and food so we headed back to the VIP area after Bob’s panel. Since the area was pretty empty I just went and sat in the Richard VIP room with Tarra and Anna. There were a few other people in there. And boy am I glad I did! Two of the girls who were in the room convinced a volunteer to go find Richard and tell him they had whiskey for him to try. All of a sudden Richard pops into the room and comes and sits down across from us at the table. We sat in there with him for probably 30 minutes or more just chatting. He told us that Bob had wanted him to be part of Conageddon last year but they couldn’t afford him. Richard even said that he told them this year that he would take a pay cut to be there because he did not want to miss out on St Patrick’s Day in Boston. We talked about how he was going to be seeing Dropkick Murphys later that night, his favorite Irish music, and just other random stuff. I even showed him my stuffed hippo Hippy that I bring with me whenever I travel, since he had gotten so fired up talking about hippos the day before. Richard came into the room probably 15 minutes before the Bob and Eliza panel started. Before heading to the panel Bob stuck his head in the room and just was like “Dickey! Whatcha doing Dickey?!” Richard was just like oh not much just trying some whiskey. It was the silliest moment; their friendship is so hilarious. Not wanting to pass up the opportunity to just chill with Richard for as long as possible I stayed in the room until Richard had to leave. Which meant I ended up missing more than half the Bob and Eliza panel. Since I knew they were streaming it on Facebook I did not mind one bit. Richard is the coolest guy and just so chill and down to earth.

I was able to catch the tail end of the Bob and Eliza photo and afterward we all went in to do our Bob and Eliza photo ops. I really had not planned what I wanted to do so I decided to just have them hug me. Next year I definitely want to plan this one out better. As I was getting up to leave Bob gave me a sweet smile.

We then headed to the autograph room to get our autographs with Richard. We spent a lot of time at his table; he was talking Tarra and Anna’s ears off lol. He talked about how grateful he is to Jason for giving him a chance and how he owes a lot of what he has in his life now to him. He also told us that Jason writes Murphy as a kind of reflection of himself. Which knowing that now I will read ever tweet of Jason’s way differently! He also was being super mischievous. Throwing pens across the room at people. Eventually his handler Monica (who is awesome) was like yo you got photo ops you gotta be at soon so he got back to business and moved the line along.

The last thing we had to do was Luisa’s photo op, but since the Bob and Eliza photos were taking longer than expected we went back to hang out in the VIP area while we waited. We ended up running into Luisa, she was proud that we found a way to coordinate our outfits for a third day. Then Anna and I finally got to do our photo op with Luisa and it is honestly one of my favorite photos from the weekend. Anna told her we’re both just going to give you a big hug and she was like OKAY!

Then it was time for Eliza’s panel and wow being in the room during that selfie auction was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever witnessed. The positivity in the room was palpable and seeing Eliza’s surprise at how much money was being raised on the spot was so special.

All in all Conageddon was the most incredible experience and I 100% intend to be there next year. It’s so incredible that Bob, Eliza, and Zach put on this convention themselves with the fans in mind. It really showed. I made so many new friends that I can’t wait to see again.

hey pals! ♡ i’m sorry i haven’t been very active lately. i’ve missed out on a few selfie nights now, but i am officially baaaaack. and with a cool life update! 

this weekend i went to fan expo in toronto, and it was incredible. i went last year as well (where i met bob!) and it’s just such a fun event to finish off the summer. this year, i went for my babe rose mciver and all my favourite humans over at the rooster teeth booth. it was honestly one of the best days of my life. i don’t think my mood has been this good since… well, since last year’s fan expo lol. 

as you can see, i also dyed my hair again! it’s a bit darker this time, but still purple because that’s basically my Brand. it also matches my cane almost exactly now, which is pretty darn cool. yes, this is something i get excited over. 

i hope you guys are doing well! i’m considering doing a series rewatch of the 100 soon. maybe i’ll liveblog it. or just post random thoughts. idk. something to keep me active throughout the hiatus, because i don’t think i’m ready to jump into season 6 yet. season 5 messed me up a bit. i miss the lil found family that was the original delinquents, clarke included.

So, I'm not a big gift person. I'm not a fan of quantifying love in dollar signs. But this year is different. My birthday is different this time around. Because in a world gone so commercial, I've somehow managed to wind up with the greatest birthday present a girl can ask for.

Bellamy would like to say he doesn’t care that his ex-girlfriend is famous. It’s not really a big deal, after all. Her fame came long after they’d stopped dating, high-school sweethearts who broke up in the natural way when they went off to different colleges. They kept in touch for a few years, saw each other on breaks and over summer vacations, but then his mother died and his sister went to live with his grandmother, and he started going home to a new state for breaks, and two years after that, Octavia told him Clarke was a singer.

So now he knows that his ex-girlfriend is still beautiful, still bright and just a little too serious and not great at being a celebrity, and if he still knew her for any reason except that she was famous, he’d probably call her up.

But it’s the fame thing, so instead he just keeps track of her as best he can without feeling like a creep. He buys her album, which is amazing, doesn’t actually follow any of her social media, but instead checks her official Twitter, which she absolutely does not run, and keeps track of all her singles and public appearances. Which is, he has on good authority, hilarious, because he’s generally the least musically aware person on the planet, and now he is an expert on exactly one pop-culture figure.

“You should absolutely call her,” his sister tells him. “Like, come on. It’s not like you’re some random creepy fan.”

“Yeah, I’m a specific creepy fan. That makes it so much better.”

“You guys dated,” she points out, not unreasonably. “Not that I want to think about this, but I assume you’ve seen her naked.”

“I don’t think I’ve seen you naked is a great way to start a conversation with a celebrity, O. It just makes them think you’re threatening to release a sex tape. Which I don’t have,” he adds, quickly. “Don’t worry. Just–seriously, it would be weird. I probably don’t even have her number any more.”

“I’m just saying, actually talking to her would probably be less creepy than what you’re doing now.”

“Thanks. That makes me feel so much better.”

Then again, given he’s spending his Sunday afternoon waiting for a stream of Clarke answering questions at some music festival in New York State, she might have a point. He’s already pretty creepy. Just talking to her would probably be an improvement.

Actual interviews with Clarke are pretty rare, but she’s got a couple Q&As set up while she’s at the festival, and he’s looking forward to just–seeing her talk. Finding out if the first girl he ever loved is still in there. And, okay, maybe if she is, he’ll call her up.

Like basically every livestream he’s ever watched, it starts off with technical difficulties, so by the time it’s working, the session has already started. Clarke is sitting on stage with a moderator, looking a little uncomfortable, but not in a way anyone other than him would notice, he doesn’t think. She’s always dealt with stress with a confident front, which is probably a good trait for a celebrity.

“I just started singing in college,” she says. “Which is pretty late, but I never felt like I had time before that. I tried out for an a capella group with my roommate, they said I was good, and it went from there.” She smiles. “Which I know sounds terrible. Easiest rise to fame ever! There was a lot of hard work and luck in there, but–that’s how I found out it was an option, and that I wanted it. Just random chance.”

“Next question,” says the moderator.

“Yeah, Dan, I’m from Massachusetts.”

“Cool, me too,” says Clarke.

“Yeah, I wanted to ask about that. Do you ever come home?”

“Sometimes. Most of my friends moved away, and so did my parents, so I don’t usually go to my home town, but I always love getting a chance to see Boston.”

“What’s the most stereotypical Masshole thing about you?”

She grins. “Dunkin Donuts addiction, definitely. My manager always wants to get good coffee and I’m sitting there with my extra-large iced Dunkies. It makes her want to cry. Thanks for the question. Next?”

“Hi, I’m Ally!” says a girl. She looks maybe twelve, at the oldest. “My friend says you don’t have a boyfriend or a girlfriend right now, but–have you ever been in love? Because you write the best love songs.”

Clarke is smiling, fond, and Bellamy can’t help a smile of his own. The kid is cute, and so hopeful.

“Yeah, I’ve been in love,” Clarke says. “I’m not saying you have to be in love to write a good love song, but–not to be a total cliche, there was this guy in high school. My first boyfriend.”

Suddenly, it’s not funny. Or, not ha ha funny. More the girl I never totally got over is going to discuss our relationship in front of a bunch of her fans funny. An entirely uncharted kind of funny.

“What was he like?”

“He was awesome. My best friend. I always wanted to try to make it work with him again, but–we fell out of touch. It sucks, but it happens. And I’m glad we had the time together that we did.” She wets her lips, looks down on her smile. “Anyway, yeah. Next question?”

Bellamy only half-hears the rest, his brain working overtime, unable to stop knowing that Clarke is talking about him. Writing songs about him, even.

“Are your love songs still about him?” a girl asks, right toward the end. “The guy from high school.”

“A lot of them aren’t about anyone,” she says. “Just the idea of love.” She bites her lip. “But yeah. Some of them are about him.”

He doesn’t really think about it, doesn’t weigh the pros and the cons. He just thinks–Clarke is still into him. Clarke hasn’t gotten over him. And if he’s not over her either, it just feels stupid, to not at least mention it.

And, really. New York isn’t that far away.

Her set the next day is great, even if he’s so far back he can barely see her. And she has another Q&A right after, so he leaves early to get a good place in line, feeling only a little anxious. He could just try to call, but, well. He’d honestly like to see her face when she sees him.

Besides, he doesn’t really want to wait.

Clarke comes out to applause, and she smiles, a little tired around the eyes, and waves. He looks away when she looks over the crowd, hiding under the brim of his hat, and when she says, “Hey, thanks so much for coming, guys! I hope you enjoyed the show!” he sees no indication she knows he’s here.

The crowd cheers, and she smiles again.

“Okay,” says the moderator. “Please keep questions short and appropriate, guys.”

The people in front of him ask a few standard questions, songwriting process, when her next album is coming, favorite artists, and he gets more and more nervous the closer he gets to the front of the line. She still doesn’t seem to have seen him, and he could just bail. Pretend he was never here and talk to her later. He could probably get to her. There isn’t a ton of security.

But then he’s at the mic, and she’s taking a drink of water, and he just leans in and says, “Hi, uh, I’m Bellamy, I’m from Northampton,” and she chokes. “Big fan,” he adds, when she meets his eye.

Her voice is a little weak, but she’s smiling. “Hi, Bellamy.” And then, when he fails to say anything either, she grins. “Did you have a question?”

He clears his throat. “Yeah, uh–my favorite song of yours is "Orion’s Belt.” I was wondering if you could tell me about the inspiration.“

"That’s really your favorite?” she asks, sounding a little offended, and he laughs.

“Sorry, am I supposed to have a different favorite? They’re all good. It’s not a competition.”

“Thanks, that means a lot.” She seems to remember they’re in front of a crowd. “Um, yeah. Of course that can be your favorite. It’s about my first date with my high school boyfriend. He took me out to teach me the constellations. He was kind of a giant dork, but–it’s one of my favorite memories.”

“Sounds like a nice night,” he says. “Thanks.”

“Thanks for coming, Bellamy,” she says, and he catches her looking at him through the rest of the Q&A, quick glances to where he’s sitting. When she’s done, he goes up to the stage with a bunch of other fans, waits as they get autographs and selfies.

When she’s done, she jumps down off the stage and hugs him, warm and close.

“Seriously, is that actually your favorite song, or did you just want me to have to admit it was about you?”

“It can’t be both?” He buries his face in her hair, breathing her in, and she holds on just as tight. “Hi, Clarke.”

“Hi, Bellamy. Good to see you.”

“Yeah,” he says. “You too.”
