HAPPY(ish?) FINAL BFSN! 💖💜💙

I joined this fandom three years ago when I looked like that top picture, long hair, ginger, just coming off of one of the worst years of my life and desperately needing something to hold onto. And boy did I find it. In you guys. In t100 fanfic. In gifsets. In all the love and friendship and laughs. I am SO SO SO grateful for this show bringing me all of that, because I'm honestly not sure if I'd even be here without it.

I look like this now! (I shaved my head to raise money for charity and now I'm choosing to live this bleached lesbian fantasy for a while). I’ve had a million hair transformations since I started this show and you have been here to witness all of them, which is making me weirdly emotional. I'm gonna try and keep this brief (which if you know anything about my fics, is something I say a lot... so... this is about to be a college essay) but I just wanted to say a proper goodbye to the show and this tradition, because while the fandom is moving on and so am I (the long way round), this show has brought me so much joy. 

Look, the show is bad now. We don't have to beat around the bush about it, this shit is garbage. But what isn't garbage is all the talent that all of you have poured into the show over the years - fanfics, art, gifsets, fanvids, meta, and every other idea under the sun - you guys have been brilliant and no amount of bad writing can undo that.

I usually do MVP of the week, and I kinda wanna make all of you the MVP of the week, because y'all ARE. Every single day you are the MVP, the VIP, the AUTOMATIC, SUPERSONIC, HYPNOTIC FUNKY FRESH, the HYDROMATIC, GREASED LIGHTNING and don't you ever forget it. Each and every one of you brings value to the world, and so many of you have brought value to my life specifically and I can't thank you enough for that.

But. I can't leave this final bfsn without shouting out the MVP's of my heart. To @clarkgriffon @fen-ha-fuck-you and @chase-the-windandtouch-the-sky I cannot even put my love for y'all into words. It's incalculable. It is not hyperbole to say that I would not still be here if it weren't for you, and that you have, on more than one occasion, literally saved my life by just being yourselves and being the best friends I could possibly ask for. If I am even half as good a friend to you as you all are to me, then I can die happy. You're basically family at this point and I hate saying that stuff because it sounds cheesy but FUCK IT we're here and we're queer and we're in deeply platonic love with each other. My wives. bellarke fam, may we meet again.

I’ve been thinking about this post for a few weeks now, I’ve looked over my list of fandom friends and fandom greats, all the people who have enhanced my shipping experience, and I just want to say thank you. Not to a terrible showrunner, or writers who seriously let me down with wasted potential, but to the ones who truly loved Bellarke.

Bob & Eliza, with all their faults, pulled me in with their chemistry and talents. And I’m so grateful that they brought these characters and the most epic ship to life before my eyes.

I started watching this show after I saw random gifs on tumblr and a Netflix suggestion that wouldn’t go away, when my son was a few months old and I was in a pretty dark place. I binged before S4, spent the summer getting lost in fic, and officially joined the fandom in S5. I slowly began to find my voice again with these space babies and I’m so proud of all I’ve accomplished in this fandom. The 100 has kept me afloat in the deep waters and been a light on the dark days. I will miss it so much.

But mainly I want to say thank you to all of you. thank you for your metas, your gifsets, your videos, your fanart, your reviews, your liveblogs, your playlists, and your fanfics...you have made this fandom so special for me to be a part of.

Oh my god. I cannot believe I’m here, this is crazy, but I hit 1k a little while ago and I am truly grateful to every single one of you. One last BFSN

I'm a pretty sentimental person, and though I haven't been involved in this fandom for very long (only months?) I'm incredibly grateful for those I've interacted with and gotten to know! I always expected to just linger on the edges and not actually try to be involved, and honestly, it was nights like BFSN and BWC that made me think "man, these people are having so much fun and actually forming friendships! Maybe I should try it out!" And then I still didn't for a while longer haha, but I'm so glad that I finally stepped out of my comfort zone and did.

This season really went in ways we never expected, but if nothing else, we get to give Bellarke the ending they truly deserve -- over and over again! And in so many different worlds!! Thank you fic writers for your time and energy that you put into crafting such wonderful stories for our favorite characters! (Oh and don't forget to vote in the @bellarkeficawards people!! And donate/request to @t100fic-for-blm!!)

I'm not sad this season is coming to an end, which is weird to say. But I am sad that I only had a few months with all of you. While I'm not leaving, I expect some of you may move on to bigger or better things and, if that's the case, may you only look back on this little fam and remember the joy and support and love you experienced. Because that's been my favorite part of this fam -- you guys have gone above and beyond what I ever expected. So thank you, truly.

Happy BFSN, everyone. I have been reading the BFSNs I’m tagged in and I’m legitimately over here sobbing. 

(Also, Ren turned 6 months today. I’ve been with the fandom since before we were even thinking about kids so it only seems fitting to end with pictures of him too.)

I didn’t enter the fandom until sometime around season 5. I had successfully stopped watching the show until I happened to catch the “She is” scene and damnit if I wasn’t sucked back in. 

I didn’t really start writing metas until late in s6 and I’ve truly had an amazing time doing them. I thought I’d be upset about putting so much effort into them after what happened with s7, but I’m not. I had SO much fun writing them and theorizing with everyone that I really don’t regret a thing. 

I also do at some point plan on turning some of them into fanfics - if there’s demand for it. As I’ve said before, fiction writing is difficult for me but I’m more than willing to try as a way of giving back to everything the fandom has given me.  

I’m not sad about the season ending - or honestly, even the show at this point. I’m sad about what’s going to happen to the fandom when it’s over. 

I truly care deeply about so many of you and the thought of never interacting with you guys again. tears a little hole in my heart.

I will be here. I’ve been MIA the last two weeks because I’ve had deadline after deadline. I have about 2 more weeks and then I will be back doing fandom stuff again.

So this is it, huh? I've been watching this show since it first aired. I didn't become an avid fan until s3 or so. I posted my first fic in May 2017. Got involved in an amazing Bellarke discord server December of last year I think? And I've made some amazing friends because of this fandom.

Has this season sucked? Yes. Even moving beyond the shipping sadness, out two leads were sidelined and then one killed the other. Still not sure I've accepted that death. It's the first time a character has died and I have not cried. Because it didn't make sense to me. But that's okay. There have been some great scenes this season and I've LOVED seeing Murphy continue to grow.

I have zero plans to leave the fandom. I have too many ideas still so I'll be around, but I've also found myself another show to obsessed over (again). Have you checked out Queen of the South yet? If you haven't you should. But go in knowing that it's dark because it revolves around drug cartels. There are def a lot of triggers in. But the lead female is badass. So is one of the main antagonist. It's nice to see strong women POC written so well. Teresa has hot love interests (hi there James) but it's about more than that. It's about her journey to find a way to do things better. And Jeresa are actually canon so there's that. Lol. I have a few projects coming up that I plan to use the 100 and QotS together so this seems like a good time to talk about it lol.

I love all of you, the wonderful people I never would've met without this fandom. Yes Jason is a dick. No, I will never watch another one of his shows. But it was worth it because I met all of you.

Also, I (and a whole bunch of other wonderful writers/creators) are still taking prompts for @t100fic-for-blm​! This little Blarke baby is 5 months today. He rolls all over the house and has started to crawl - but only to the dog. Nothing else motivates him 😂

Wow I haven’t done one of these in a long long time, but considering it’s the last ep, it’s definitely time. First, since my last bfsn post, my hair has gone from pink, to red, to purple, to blue to this greenish colour hahaha so enjoy the current hair colour (that is probably never going to wash out oops).

I’ve been in this fandom since about 2014, starting as ‘bellarkebc’ and I doubt I’ll ever find a fandom experience quite like this one. After curating my experience a little, I found such a kind, welcoming group of people and I am so grateful for that family that was always on my dash making beautiful gifsets, artwork, and fanfic - and especially for all the supporters. Although the show didn’t quite turn out as it could, Bellarke is ours now and will forever be ours. I love all of you guys! Here’s to a long few years.

We’re doing well here. My uni started up classes again and I am beyond thankful to be on fellowship this year and don’t have to go anywhere near there. It’s a shit show. 

Bubba has decided that 5 months seems like a perfectly good time to try and start standing. (Spoiler alert: it is not.)

Happy BFSN everyone. 

We’ve had a very rough week here. Our AC is broken with near 100 degree temps, bubby is getting his first teeth, and my lupus is flaring. But we got to have a few good moments so enjoy :)

I know people are super on edge this week because of a review or two but I’m begging everyone to just stay calm. I want Bellamy, Clarke, and Bellarke as much as all of you but the episodes are done and all that’s left is to watch them play out.
