“𝙱𝚄𝚃  𝙸’𝙼  𝚃𝙴𝙻𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙶  𝚈𝙾𝚄  𝚃𝙷𝙴  𝚃𝚁𝚄𝚃𝙷  --  at  least  from  what  i’ve  heard  around  the  cryptid  grape  vine.  people  have  been  talking  about  seeing  a  𝑅𝐸𝐷  -  𝐸𝑌𝐸𝐷  𝑊𝐼𝑁𝐺𝐸𝐷  𝐶𝑅𝐸𝐴𝑇𝑈𝑅𝐸  in  virginia  for,  well,  forever.  but  doesn’t  it  make  you  wonder  about  him  being  spotted  elsewhere?  i  mean,  just  this  last  year  there  was  a  wide  report  from  hundreds  of  people  in  chicago.      of  course,  everyone  wanted  to  give  their  𝑇𝐸𝑁  𝐶𝐸𝑁𝑇𝑆  𝑂𝑁  𝑇𝐻𝐸  𝑆𝑈𝐵𝐽𝐸𝐶𝑇,  josh  gates  even  sent  out  a  small  crew  to  debunk  it.  they’re  blaming  it  on  a  bird..  but  i  have  my  own  speculation.  i’m  not  saying  it  was  𝚃𝙷𝙴  𝙼𝙾𝚃𝙷𝙼𝙰𝙽  ,  but  it  definitely  wasn’t  a  bird.”

❛   you’re  SELF  OBSESSED  and  all  the  rest.   honestly,   i’m  so  over  it   !   ❜   wrath  gripped  your  vocal  cords  in  a  clawed  grasp.   anger’s  nails  dragged  down  into  your  lungs,   scorching  them  red.   what  had  brought  on  this  fit  of  rage   ?   well,   the  insults  that  your   (   now  ex   )   friend  was  slinging  towards  this  poor  person  stung  your  ears.   memories  of  the  things  people  would  say  in  passing  was  more  enough.   aura  would  blacken  at  the  mere  idea  of  standing  idly  while  witnessing  the  bullying.   with  a  huff  of  air,   your  former  friend  had  left   —   leaving  fingers  to  slacken  and  relax  out  of  their  tightened  place  at  your  side.

she’s nestled in a booth in the far corner of the diner, avoiding but also watching the people who trickle in and out. she arrived to the small town of pegasus falls late last night and booked a room in the only motel in town. she had felt something, miles and miles before she arrived, puling her closer here. she’s meant to be here, she thinks. maybe for reasons other than just hiding out from the facility. she calls over the first and what seems to be the only waitress in the restaurant, an odd feeling spreading in the nape of her neck as their eyes lock,     “    could i get a coffee when you get the chance?    ”
