i hope people understand that when i say english is my second language, it doesn't mean i'm saying that my english is bad, it just means that i don't always catch the nuances in a discussion or i don't always have the vocabulary to articulate myself succinctly
#believe it or not this guy has a degree in english linguistics lollll#but i think that's part of the reason why i think abt this stuff so often#words have meaning and weight and context and i want to be precise and considerate when choosing how i use them
