summary: mentions of nicknames, flirting, fluff, friends to lovers, wc is about 1k.
pairing: confident/flirty bela x shy reader (no pronouns used for reader)
story is proofread, i take requests
a/n: this is my first post, thank you if you take your time to read this! english isn't my first language so if you find anything that i should correct, please feel free to do so. pics are from pinterest!!
It was just a usual normal day around the castle. You befriended the Dimitrescu daughter's after a few weeks you had moved to the village with your family. Their Mother, Alcina Dimitrescu liked you from the very start, which was rare, considering how overprotective she was when it came to her daughter's. The summer breeze kissed your skin as you made your way to the beautiful castle to spend time with Bela, Cassandra and Daniela.
Although, you mostly spend time with Bela, she has the same interests as you, it made you two connect very quickly. Your shared love for music and art was lovely. If you weren't playing on an instrument with her, or listened to your favorite songs, you walked around the castle viewing the beautiful painting's they had hanging on the walls. This time was no different. As much as you loved spending time with Daniela and Cassandra, you loved every moment spent with Bela even more. Secretly, she adored you, so did you adored her.
Everything felt... Natural when it came to you and her. Every conversation, every second, every stolen look, every laugh. Little did she know she started developing a crush on you. Maybe you had too. You weren't too sure of your feelings. Lately you started feeling nervous around her, longing stares felt like you were going to blow up any minute if you wouldn't stop looking at her. She's too gorgeous not to look at.
You tried denying that you like her. That you really started developing feelings. Once you had realised, you wanted to act on it. You wanted something to happen so badly, but it's easier said than done. Even if it's just your skin brushing against each other's it was still... something.
She was stuck in your head while you were walking. Once you were at the castle, the enormous gates opened, revealing the three daughter's. They were always on time when you talked about catching a break and spending time together. They rushed to you, hugging you tightly. They are always so, so welcoming.
"Y/N, hi, you finally arrived! We have prepared tea for you." -Bela said with a huge grin while nudging you inside the castle.
While you were walking through the hallway and as the daughter's were chatting, you couldn't help but catch Bela looking at you from time to time. Once you arrived in the living room, all of you sat down, and started talking.
Hours passed, which felt like seconds. When Daniela and Cassandra returned to their bedroom, you were left alone with Bela.
"I have a few new things to show you, c'mon." Bela suggested and held out her hand to help you up. You accepted her hand with a smile, clinging onto her.
As she led you through the hallway, with intertwined arm's, you were lost in your thoughts, thinking how could you give a hint that you want to be more than friends.
"Y/N, you there?" she bumped into you with her shoulder, bringing you back to reality.
"Huh? Yeah, just lost in my thoughts. Were you saying something?" You ask, confusion visible on your face.
"Yes, I was saying that i had a new painting I want to show you." She smiled at you, leaning closer to you.
To make you walk faster she placed a hand on your waist, guiding you through the rooms and hallways of the castle.
"You look really pretty today, sweetheart." She complimented on your appearance, making you blush, by not just the compliment but also the nickname.
"Definitely not better than you, Bela" You return the compliment, catching her off guard. She turns her head to hide her blush, she's not used to compliments.
"Oh, returning my compliments, now, sweetheart?" She asks, confidently walking beside you.
"Just because i returned it, doesn't mean it isn't true, sweetheart" You return the nickname, making her laugh.
Her hand remained on your waist, guiding you in silence. You find yourselves standing in front of a large window overlooking the castle grounds, the sun is setting, its light still visible from the castle window, so you're still met with a spectacular view.
You notice that she's standing a little closer to you than she'd usually stand, as she likes to keep her own personal space. You gaze out upon the darkening landscape together, admiring it, wishing it could last forever.
"Quite the nice view huh?" Bela says with her usual sly grin, after taking in the views.
"Yes... Quite the nice view." You nod in agreement and you both look back out the window, watching the sun begin to sink behind the surrounding mountains. It's a breathtaking view, with shadows starting to fill the grounds as the light fades.
"Yeah," she responds, "It's a nice view, alright." She says as she looks in your way.
She looks over to you, meeting your gaze, a sly smirk still across her lips as she admires you in the fading sunlight. You notice now that she's standing much closer than she was earlier, less than a foot separating you two. Her smile grows, almost sultry, as she continues to look into your eyes.
"Although," Bela says, her voice just above a whisper, "The view right in front of me might be even more appealing..."
You blush, words stuck in your throat. Is it actually happening? You can feel your cheeks flush under her gaze, her words sending a shiver down your spine. Bela notices your reaction and her smile grows even wider, enjoying the effect she's currently having on you.
"No need to be so shy." She says softly, taking a small step closer, closing the remaining gap between you and her. Her lominous eyes never leaving yours, you get lost in her eyes. She brings a hand up to brush some hair away from your face, her fingers gently tracing your jawline. She can feel the heat of your blush as you struggle to respond, your eyes wide and your pulse beginning to quicken. Bela knows she has your full attention now, and she's loving it.
She let's her fingers drift from your jaw to your chin, gently tilting your head up to maintain eye contact as she closes the space between you two.
"You're so cute when you blush like that," She murmurs, her voice barely above a whisper, leaning closer to your ears. "It almost makes me want to keep teasing you, you sweet little thing..."
"Bela..." Your breathe quickens "Maybe i put myself in situations like this to make you tease me.*
You exit the window-lined hallway and continue down the dark passageway. The castle is quiet now, most of the maids have already retired to bed, leaving you alone in the dimly-lit corridors. Your footsteps echoing softly in the silence as you make your way to the art room. As you walk, she glances over to you, admiring your profile in the low light. She smiles slightly, enjoying the quiet moment between you.
You know," Bela begins after a few moments. "You never asked me what the painting is of," She points out, gently bumping your shoulder, "You just agreed to see it, sweetheart."
"Because everything you touch or make turns out to be beautiful. I'm always curious what you have for me, Bela." You look at her with a shy smile. After admiring the spectacular view, you make your way to the art room. As you reach the door, she pushes it open and gestured for you to step inside. The room is dimly lit by a few hanging lamps, giving the room a cozy, intimate atmosphere.
She leads you further into the room, towards a large canvas that stands in the center, hidden by a cloth. Bela glances at you, a smile playing at the corners of her lips.
"You ready, sweetheart?" she asks, her hands on the cloth, ready to reveal the painting. You nod slightly, a mix of curiosity and anticipation on your face. You also can't let go of the given nickname.
"Alright," She murmurs, taking a deep breath, "Here we go, sweetheart..."
she pulls the cloth away with a grand flourish, revealing the painting to you... of you. She made a portrait of you. It captures every detail of your face, from your delicate features to the way your hair falls across your shoulders. The paint depicts you in an artistic, almost ethereal way, the light from the lamps in the room casting a warm glow across the canvas.
She stands back behind you, watching your reaction carefully, waiting to see your response. Your eyes widen as you take in the image on the canvas. You almost don't recognize yourself at first, the way she captured every bit of your features surprised you.
Bela remains silent, standing quietly behind you, placing a hand on your shoulder. You both can feel the tension between you grow as you examine the painting, your eyes tracing every brush stroke, every detail, every small part of the image that depicts you...
"Well?" She murmurs in your ears after a few moments, unable to hold herself back any longer. "What do you think, sweetheart?" Her voice is soft, a hint of flirt in her voice. She's desperate to hear what you think of the painting. Did she capture your beauty? Did she do justice to your likeness? She looks at your face, searching for any reaction, any sign of what's going through your mind.
"This is... amazing Bela, wow!" You're left speechless. Instead of saying something you turn around and hug Bela tightly."
"Oh you sweet little thing, I'm glad you like it." As she was petting your hair, she pressed her face against your neck. She pulled away from the hug. slightly leaning to your face. "I'm so glad you like your very own potrait, sweetheart." She repeated caressing your cheek. She leaned closer to you, pressing her lips to yours. You slowly kiss her back giving into her kiss and touch. You pull away and look into her eyes, touching her face.
"I think i can say it now, I've liked you for a while now." You say smiling, with a flustered face.
"Oh you sweet thing, you could've confessed sooner."

It was almost midnight and all that was heard was the soft pattering of rain on the windows of the castle, it was calming. These were one of the few nights that Bela, Cassandra and Daniela had actually gone to bed when asked, so the castle lacked the sound of cackling, giggling and screaming. The rain had been on and off for the past few hours. Heavy, then soft, heavy again, thunder, soft again. You found it quite relaxing, sitting in bed, maroon silk nightdress, long sleeves and long enough to trail behind you when you walk. You were sitting up against the back of the bed, reading quite a thick book with a cup of long forgotten tea sitting on the bedside table. Waiting for Alcina to finish working was pretty much a nightly thing now, which was a good thing, yet occasionally bad. Good, because you felt safe knowing your wife wasn't falling asleep in her study and leaving you to sleep alone, and bad, because sometimes you'd be up til past 3 waiting for her.
Either way, you were just glad when she finally joined you in bed. Currently, she was still in her study. You knew this A) because she wasn't with you, and B) because you could hear her pacing from a mile away. Eventually, some time around 1am, the footsteps got closer, and you smiled to yourself, prepared to see the doors to the chambers open, and your wife to duck into the room. Right on queue, the doors swung open, much faster then you were prepared, making you jump.
, , Dragă, I thought I told you to stop waiting for me."
The Countess spoke softly as she ducked into the room, holding onto the brim of her hat. She raised her eyebrow, frowning as she walked towards the bed. You slipped your bookmark between the pages and closed your book, placing it on the bedside table before looking up at your wife.
, , I'm sorry- I just don't like to sleep without you." You sigh, smoothing out the blankets covering your legs.
, , I'm flattered darling, but I don't like when you stay up so late, you're always so tired in the mornings. You almost fell asleep in your breakfast three days ago!" The mattress dipped down when she sat on the edge of the bed, her hand now resting on your thigh as her eyes met yours. They were full of concern but love.
You gave her a pleading look, holding yours hand together in your lap.
Silence filled the room for a moment before The Countess turned her head away with a sigh, a smile tugging at her lips.
, , You make it unbareabley hard to stay upset at you, darling."
, , I know!" You giggle before you pat your lap, with an expecting look on your face.
Something between a sigh and a chuckle escapes Alcina's lips, as she removes her hat, placing it on the corner of the bed as she leans back, her head laying on your lap. A wide smile spreads across your face as you begin to pull out the pins in your wife's soft raven hair.
Alcina closes her eyes, relaxing as you sort out her hair.
, , How was your day?" , , Painfully boring, once again." Alcina responds quietly. She was about to continue when she opened her eyes, quite suddenly. , , Oh dear-"
, , Hm?—" Suddenly, a loud bang rings through the castle, along with the bright flash of white light that was visible under the door. The sudden noise made you squeak.
, , Here she comes-" Right on queue, the chamber doors fly open, Daniela holding onto the doorway. She rushes into the room, closing the door behind her as she climbs onto the bed, immediately wrapping her arms around the vampiress.
, , My sweet girl, there's nothing to be afraid of." Alcina soothes as she wraps her arm around the girl, holding her close. Daniela burries her face into the crook of The Mistress's neck, lip trembling and all.
, , I don't want to take my chances, Mamă..." She whispered softly, cuddling closer.
You frown, reaching over and placing your hand on the girls arm, comfortingly. Alcina sits up, pulling Daniela to lay next to you on the bed. In response to this, Daniela grabs ahold of her mothers arm.
, , I have to go get changed, bug, I'll be back in a few minutes."
Alcina places a kiss on her daughters forehead, slipping out of Daniela's grasp and walking away. Daniela whines, but turns over, immediately latching onto your waist. She curls into you, while you run your fingers through her hair.
, , When will the storm be over..." She mumbles into your side, holding tighter when a quiet rumble is heard outside.
, , Soon, sweetheart. Soon." You brush a strand of hair away from her face, as you speak. Moving forward, you lay back on your pillow while you wrap your arm around Daniela.
By the time Alcina returned, Daniela had fallen asleep latched onto you. Alcina had wiped her face of her makeup, and had gotten changed into an identical nightdress as to what you were wearing. Instead it was a deep crimson, and was only held by straps and a deep V neckline. Thankfully, the bed was big enough for at least 5 people, so the three of you had no problem snuggling up to one another.
, , Goodnight my little bug. Sleep well." Alcina leaned down, kissing Daniela's cheek and forehead, receiving a content huff in return. She slipped into the bed, wrapping her arms around the both of you. She leaned over Daniela, kissing you softly goodnight before settling down into the blankets.
Soon enough, you fell asleep, Alcina not too far behind.

Rescued From the Nightmares
Miracina x Fem! Reader
TW: Blood, Mentions of ED Behaviors, Mentions of Poison and Torture
Liniștește-te, îngeraș. Ești în siguranță = Calm down, little angel. You're safe
------------------------------------------
Amidst the dense forest, Alcina Dimitrescu and her daughters, Cassandra, Bela, and Daniela, prowled gracefully, their senses sharp and instincts honed for the hunt. The crisp air carried whispers of prey, but something else lingered—a foreign scent, unfamiliar and intriguing.
Bela's keen nose twitched as she caught wind of it, her brows furrowing in curiosity. "Mother," she murmured, her voice a soft melody in the twilight, "do you smell that?"
Alcina, towering and regal, nodded, her crimson lips curling into a predatory smile. "Yes, my dear. I've noticed it too," she replied, her golden eyes gleaming with intrigue. "Let us follow it and see what secrets this forest holds."
With a nod from their mother, the Dimitrescu daughters ventured deeper into the woods, their steps silent and purposeful. Alcina's directive echoed in their minds—explore, hunt, but remain vigilant.
Bela suggested they split up to cover more ground, a notion that Alcina entertained. "Very well," she conceded, her voice carrying authority softened by maternal concern. "Bela, Cassandra, you shall pair up. Daniela, you are with me."
And so they dispersed, weaving through the shadows with practiced ease. Bela and Cassandra navigated the labyrinth of trees until they stumbled upon a clearing, where a young woman lay unconscious, her form draped in a cloak of darkness and blood.
Cassandra's brow furrowed in concern as she knelt beside the fallen figure. "What do we do, Bela?" she asked, her voice a whisper in the stillness of the night.
Bela hesitated, her gaze flickering between her sister and the stranger at their feet. "We bring her to Mother," she decided, her tone resolute. "She will know what to do."
They carried the unconscious woman back to the agreed meeting point, where Alcina and Daniela awaited their return. Alcina's gaze narrowed as she took in the sight before her, her maternal instincts tinged with caution.
"Who is she?" Alcina inquired, her voice a velvet whisper laced with authority.
"We found her while exploring, Mother," Bela explained, her voice steady despite the weight of uncertainty.
Alcina regarded the stranger with a measured gaze before nodding in agreement. "We shall bring her back to the castle," she decided, her voice commanding yet gentle. With practiced grace, Bela transferred the injured woman into Alcina's arms, their journey back to the castle beginning in silence.
The grand halls of Castle Dimitrescu welcomed the returning huntresses with an air of quiet anticipation. Alcina's wife, Miranda, awaited their arrival, her presence a calming anchor amidst the storm of their nightly endeavors. As the Dimitrescu daughters approached, Miranda greeted them with a warm smile, her gaze flickering with curiosity.
"How was the hunt, my darlings?" Miranda inquired, her voice a soothing melody in the cavernous hall.
Cassandra's lips curved into a satisfied smirk as she recounted their exploits, her words painting a vivid picture of the night's escapades. But Miranda's smile faltered when her eyes fell upon the unconscious woman cradled in Alcina's arms, her brow furrowing in concern.
"What happened?" Miranda asked, her tone laced with worry as she turned to Alcina for answers.
Bela stepped forward, her voice steady as she explained their unexpected encounter in the abandoned base. Miranda listened intently, her expression softening with understanding as she absorbed the tale.
Alcina, ever composed, interjected with a gentle reminder of the woman's injuries. "Miranda, she is in need of your expertise," she stated, her voice a velvet whisper tinged with concern.
Miranda nodded, her resolve firm as she accepted the responsibility thrust upon her. With a graceful motion, Alcina transferred the unconscious woman into Miranda's waiting arms, their gazes locking in silent reassurance before Miranda disappeared down the dimly lit corridors, her burden cradled close to her heart.
Left alone with her daughters, Alcina's focus shifted to the task at hand. "Clean yourselves up," she instructed, her voice firm yet gentle. "Dinner will be served in a few hours."
The Dimitrescu daughters nodded in understanding, their movements fluid as they made their way to their chambers to prepare for the evening ahead. Meanwhile, Alcina dispatched a maid to fetch Miranda's equipment, ensuring that her wife had all she needed to tend to their unexpected guest.
Alone in their shared room, Alcina found Miranda tending to the stranger's wounds with practiced expertise, her hands gentle yet sure as she worked. With a soft smile, Alcina offered her assistance, their bond a silent testament to the strength of their union.
Miranda's skilled hands moved with precision as she tended to the unconscious woman, her focus unwavering despite the weight of uncertainty that hung in the air. Alcina stood by her side, a silent sentinel ready to offer assistance at a moment's notice.
As they worked, their conversation drifted to the mysterious circumstances surrounding the woman's appearance in the abandoned base. They speculated quietly, weaving tales of intrigue and danger, each possibility more fantastical than the last.
With practiced ease, Miranda finished attending to the woman's injuries, her touch gentle as she wrapped them in sterile dressings. She cleaned her equipment methodically, her movements a ballet of efficiency and grace.
A faint stir from the woman interrupted their quiet conversation, and Miranda's hand instinctively reached out to steady her. Alcina's voice, a soothing balm in the darkness, reassured the woman of her safety, her words a promise of protection amidst the unknown.
But the woman, disoriented and confused, attempted to rise from her makeshift bed. Miranda's gentle touch halted her movement, her voice soft yet firm as she urged the woman to rest.
"You're safe now," Alcina assured her, her gaze unwavering as she met the woman's eyes. "You're in good hands."
The young woman's words cut through the air like a chilling breeze, her voice trembling with fear and desperation. "I need to leave," she pleaded, her eyes darting nervously towards the door. "They'll hurt me if they find me here."
But her legs buckled beneath her, and she stumbled, leaning heavily against the sturdy wooden doorframe for support. Alcina approached her cautiously, her voice a soothing melody amidst the woman's turmoil.
"You're safe here," Alcina reassured her, her tone gentle yet unwavering. "No one will harm you."
Miranda's keen gaze softened as she observed the young woman's distress, her heart aching with empathy for the pain etched in her features. "You need antibiotics," Miranda explained calmly, her voice a steady anchor in the storm.
At the mention of needles, the woman's eyes widened with fear, her body tensing in anticipation. "No, please, not again," she pleaded, her voice tinged with anguish.
Alcina's brow furrowed in concern as she listened to the woman's words, a sense of foreboding settling over her. "What do you mean, 'again'?" she inquired gently, her voice laced with quiet concern.
"They..." the woman trailed off, her voice choked with emotion. "They always give me shots," she confessed, her words heavy with the weight of trauma.
Miranda guided the woman to the bed, her touch gentle as she offered comfort and reassurance. She sat beside her, her presence a steady anchor in the tumult of emotions swirling around them.
As Alcina administered the injections, Miranda offered words of encouragement, her voice a soothing balm to the woman's frayed nerves. With the first needle's prick, the woman held her breath, her knuckles turning white as she clutched Miranda's hand in a vice-like grip.
"Remember to breathe, sweetheart," Miranda murmured, her voice a gentle reminder of their shared humanity.
The second injection followed, and the woman squeezed Miranda's hand tightly, her eyes squeezed shut against the pain. Miranda praised her bravery, her words a beacon of light in the darkness of her fear.
"You did very well, my dear," Alcina added, her voice warm with pride as she applied bandaids to the tiny puncture wounds.
The young woman's eyelids grew heavy, the effects of the medication beginning to take hold. With a soft sigh, she swayed dizzily, her strength ebbing away as she slipped from the edge of the bed. Alcina's swift reflexes caught her before she could hit the ground, her voice a steady anchor in the swirling sea of confusion.
"Easy now," Alcina murmured, her arms enfolding the woman in a protective embrace. With gentle care, she lifted her and settled her back onto the bed, beside Miranda.
The woman, her name still a mystery, sought solace in Miranda's presence, her heart yearning for the warmth of connection amidst the chill of uncertainty. Miranda welcomed her into her embrace, her touch tender as she brushed a stray lock of hair from the woman's face.
Alcina watched over them, her gaze soft with compassion as she took a seat beside the young woman. She reached out, her hand resting lightly on the woman's shoulder, a silent gesture of support and reassurance.
"You're safe here, sweetheart," Miranda whispered, her voice a gentle caress in the darkness. "Rest now, and let your worries fade away."
Alcina's voice joined Miranda's, their words weaving a tapestry of comfort and solace around the woman. "We'll protect you," she promised, her tone firm yet gentle. "You're not alone."
The young woman's lips parted in a feeble attempt to speak, her voice barely a whisper amidst the quiet of the room. Miranda's gentle touch silenced her, a soft shushing sound soothing her restless mind.
"Rest now, my dear," Miranda murmured, her voice a gentle melody in the darkness. "There will be time to talk later, once you're feeling better."
The woman, her eyelids heavy with exhaustion, nodded weakly, her protests silenced by the comforting embrace of sleep. She sank deeper into Miranda's arms, her body yielding to the pull of slumber as the warmth of safety enveloped her.
Curiosity flickered in her eyes as she gazed up at the two older women, a silent question lingering on her lips. Alcina's voice, warm and reassuring, broke the stillness of the room as she introduced herself and Miranda.
"I am Alcina Dimitrescu, and this is my wife, Miranda," Alcina explained, her tone gentle yet proud. "And you, my dear, what is your name?"
Miranda's gaze softened as she awaited the woman's response, her heart brimming with compassion for the stranger in their midst. "We would like to know who you are sweet girl," she added, her voice a gentle invitation to trust.Y/n's voice, soft and hesitant, broke the silence of the room. "My name is Y/n," she murmured, her eyes flickering with uncertainty as she met Miranda and Alcina's gazes.
The apology tumbled from Y/n's lips, her voice laced with self-doubt. Alcina's brow furrowed in confusion at the unexpected apology, prompting Y/n to explain her concern about intruding on their relationship.
Alcina's gaze softened, a flicker of understanding passing between her and Miranda. "You have nothing to apologize for, my dear," Alcina assured her, her voice warm with reassurance. "You are not an inconvenience."
Miranda echoed Alcina's sentiment, her touch gentle as she urged Y/n to rest. "Sleep now," Miranda whispered, her words a soothing lullaby in the stillness of the room. "We'll talk more later."
With a tender kiss to Y/n's forehead, Alcina bid Miranda and Y/n farewell, her footsteps fading into the distance as she left the room. Y/n shifted slightly, pulling away from Miranda's embrace, her eyes clouded with uncertainty.
"Are you alright?" Miranda asked, her voice soft with concern as she observed the turmoil in Y/n's expression.
Y/n's response was hesitant, her words tinged with guilt. "I shouldn't be getting so close to a married woman," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
But Miranda's touch was gentle yet firm as she drew Y/n back into her embrace. "If you need comfort right now, that's what matters," Miranda reassured her, her words a beacon of understanding in the darkness of Y/n's doubts. "You're not doing anything to jeopardize our marriage."
Y/n relaxed into Miranda's arms, her fears melting away in the warmth of their shared embrace. Miranda pulled the duvet over them both, cocooning them in a blanket of safety and comfort as Y/n nestled closer to her.
With a final kiss to Y/n's forehead, Miranda whispered words of comfort as Y/n drifted off to sleep, the weight of the world easing from her shoulders in the embrace of those who dared to care. And in the heart of Castle Dimitrescu, amidst shadows and secrets, a stranger found solace in the arms of those who welcomed her with open hearts.
Amidst the quiet intimacy of their room, Alcina returned from her brief check on the girls, her footsteps echoing softly in the dimly lit chamber. She approached Miranda with a questioning gaze, concern etched into the lines of her elegant features.
"How is she?" Alcina inquired, her voice a gentle murmur as she regarded Miranda with a mixture of curiosity and worry.
Miranda's gaze softened as she turned to face her wife, a small smile gracing her lips. "She's sleeping now," Miranda replied, her voice soft with reassurance. "She was worried about us being married."
Alcina's brow furrowed in confusion at the revelation, prompting Miranda to explain Y/n's concerns. "She doesn't understand why she feels that way," Miranda added, her voice tinged with empathy.
A tender silence enveloped them as they pondered the complexities of Y/n's feelings. "I don't mind that she's come into our lives," Miranda confessed, her words a testament to the depth of her compassion.
Alcina's gaze softened with understanding, her hand reaching out to intertwine with Miranda's. "I agree," she murmured, her voice a whispered affirmation of their shared sentiment.
They lingered in quiet companionship for a while longer, their thoughts drifting amidst the gentle ebb and flow of conversation. Two hours passed in the blink of an eye, and soon, the aroma of dinner wafted into the room, heralding the arrival of their meal.
Miranda stirred Y/n gently from her slumber, her touch tender as she guided the sleepy woman to sit up. Y/n instinctively gravitated towards Miranda, seeking solace in the comforting embrace of the older woman.
Alcina's voice broke the silence, her tone warm with affection as she informed Y/n of their dinner. With her help, Y/n sat up and began to eat, the simple act of nourishment a testament to the newfound bond forged between them.
But as Y/n pushed the food around on her plate, Alcina gently urged her to eat, her voice filled with concern. "You should try to eat something, my dear. It will help settle your stomach," she suggested, her eyes flickering with worry.
Y/n hesitated, her appetite diminished by memories too painful to share. "I'm not hungry," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Miranda exchanged a concerned glance with Alcina, her brow furrowing in worry. "Is there a specific reason why you don't want to eat?" she inquired gently, her voice filled with empathy.
Y/n's gaze flickered with hesitation, her mind torn between the desire to confide in them and the fear of burdening them with her past. But finally, she found the courage to speak, her voice trembling with the weight of her confession.
"When I was given meals at the base... they were usually poisoned," she admitted, her words heavy with the weight of truth. "They wanted to see which poisons I was immune to."
Shock and anger rippled across Alcina and Miranda's faces at Y/n's revelation, their hearts heavy with the weight of her suffering. "We would never do such a thing," Alcina vowed, her voice laced with righteous indignation. "We want you to be safe here."
Miranda's hand reached out to gently touch Y/n's, her touch a silent reassurance of their commitment to her well-being. "We want to help you," she murmured, her voice soft yet determined. "Please, try to eat something small. It will help with the antibiotics."
With a shared understanding passing between them, Y/n nodded slowly, her trust in Alcina and Miranda growing with each passing moment.
As the weeks passed, Y/n found herself gradually integrating into the life of Castle Dimitrescu. She formed bonds with Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela, the Dimitrescu daughters taking a liking to her gentle nature and welcoming her into their fold. But it was with Alcina and Miranda that Y/n grew closest, finding solace and security in their presence.
Despite the warmth of their companionship, Y/n continued to sleep on the floor each night, a silent testament to the lingering trauma that haunted her dreams. The softness of the bed and the comfort of the room were foreign to her, a stark contrast to the harsh realities she had endured before being rescued by Alcina and her daughters.
To Y/n, the comforts of the bed were reserved for those who had earned them, not for someone like her. So she sought refuge on the familiar embrace of the floor, finding solace in the hum of the heating and the warmth of a simple rug beneath her.
It was only when Miranda and Alcina gently encouraged her to embrace the comfort of the bed that Y/n began to realize the true extent of her fear of sleep. The gentle weight of the comforter, the warmth of the mattress, and the softness of the pillows were foreign sensations, overwhelming in their unfamiliarity.
But with their reassurance, Y/n tentatively allowed herself to sink into the embrace of the bed, the promise of safety and comfort beckoning her into the realm of sleep. Yet, as the night wore on, the darkness of her dreams crept in, suffocating her with its tendrils of fear and despair.
The first night in the shared bed was plagued by bone-deep screams, the echoes of her nightmares reverberating through the quiet of the room. Alcina and Miranda at her side in a n instant, their gentle words a soothing balm to her troubled soul as they guided her back to the shores of wakefulness.
But even as they slipped back into unconsciousness, the nightmares returned with a vengeance, tearing through the fragile veil of sleep with relentless ferocity. Hour after hour, Y/n fought against the darkness, her throat raw from screams and her body drenched in sweat.
Yet, through it all, Alcina and Miranda remained steadfast at her side, their unwavering presence a beacon of light in the darkness of her nightmares. And as the night faded into dawn, Y/n clung to their comfort, the promise of a new day offering a glimmer of hope amidst the shadows of her past.
The echoes of Y/n's screams filled the room, jolting both Alcina and Miranda from their sleep. Right away, they were at her side, their comforting presence a shield against the encroaching darkness of her nightmares.
Miranda gently cradled Y/n in her arms, feeling the tremors that coursed through her body. "Draga mea, shh, you're safe," she whispered, her voice a soothing melody in the night.
Alcina's hand rested on Y/n's shoulder, her touch firm yet gentle. "Îngeraș, we're here for you," she reassured, her voice a comforting murmur.
Y/n, caught in the throes of her nightmares, clung to Miranda, her tears soaking into the fabric of her nightshirt. Between sobs, she tried to articulate the horrors that plagued her dreams, but her words were disjointed and unintelligible.
Miranda pressed a tender kiss to Y/n's forehead, her voice a calming presence amidst the storm. "Shh, my dear, it's okay. We're here with you," she murmured, her fingers gently stroking Y/n's hair.
Alcina leaned in, her lips brushing against Y/n's temple. "Take your time, îngeraș. We're not going anywhere," she said, her voice a steady reassurance.
The trio remained intertwined in the bed, a tableau of comfort and solace in the face of Y/n's turmoil. Alcina and Miranda worked in tandem to calm her racing heart and ease the tension that gripped her.
As Y/n continued to cry into Miranda's neck, Alcina whispered soothing words in Romanian, the melodic cadence a balm to Y/n's restless soul. "Liniștește-te, îngeraș. Ești în siguranță," she murmured, her voice a gentle lullaby.
Miranda continued her soft reassurances, offering a comforting refuge for Y/n to lean into. "It's alright, my dear. We're here to help you through this," she whispered, her words a promise of unwavering support.
After some time, as Y/n's sobs began to subside, Alcina and Miranda exchanged a knowing glance. "Let's talk about it in the morning," Alcina suggested, her tone filled with understanding.
Miranda nodded in agreement, gently wiping away Y/n's tears. "Sleep, Draga mea. We'll face this together when the sun rises," she murmured, her words a gentle promise of a new day, free from the shadows of the night.

What are we?
Tumblr media
It was a very exciting day. You're the heir of the L/N family, so that meant it's time to discuss some business about the future plans with the Dimitrescu family.
As the large, looming figure of the Dimitrescu castle came into view, you couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Everybody had heard tales of the village's enigmatic residents and you had been looking forward to finally meeting the mysterious Dimitrescu family. Little did you know, one encounter in particular would change the course of your life forever. That contains meeting Bela Dimitrescu.
You and your family approach the castle, Bela, the eldest daughter of Alcina Dimitrescu is standing on a balcony, looking out onto the land, her sharp golden eyes peering down at your family. At you.
She couldn't quite place why, but she felt a strange electric feeling when her eyes fell on you. The princess.
Bela rushes from where she stands, going to her Mother's office. "Mother, the L/N family is here." Bela informs her Mother.
Alcina Dimitrescu, the leader of the castle and Bela's mother, raised an eyebrow upon hearing the news.
"Ah, the L/N family has arrived, you say? Excellent. Make sure they are properly entertained during their visit. Make them feel like they're at home." Alcina replied, her voice carrying a hint of curiosity.
"Of course, Mother." Bela nodded, a small smirk still playing at the corners of her lips. She couldn't help but find your presence intriguing. "I'll ensure the family feels welcome and comfortable during their stay."
As the Dimitrescu sisters and Alcina made their way back to the main hall, where you and your family were waiting, Bela couldn't deny the flutter in her chest. She was very excited to meet you for some reason. There was something about you that made her feel like she has to know you, a mix of innocence and hidden depths that piqued her interest. Taking a deep breath, Bela greeted the visitors with a warm smile.
"Welcome to Castle Dimitrescu. I trust your journey here was pleasant," Bela said, her eyes casually flickering towards you as she spoke.
"It really was, pleasent, thank you." You spoke with kindness. Your gaze lingered on Bela for a second.
"I'm glad to hear that," Bela replied, her gaze lingering on you too a moment longer than necessary. Lady Dimitrescu gestured for her daughter to show you and your family where you'll be staying. "Please, let me show you to your quarters. I'm sure you must be weary from the journey."
As Bela guided you and your family through the castle, she couldn't help but steal occasional glances at you, curiosity burning bright in her golden eyes.
The group soon reached a wing of the castle reserved for guests, and Bela opened the door to a spacious room adorned with elegant furnishings.
"You'll be staying here for the duration of your visit," Bela said, her voice holding a silky undertone. "Should you need anything at all, don't hesitate to call for one of the maids."
"Thank you very much, we will, definitely." Your father thanked Bela's kindness.
With a courteous nod, Bela excused herself, leaving you and your family to settle into your quarters. However, Bela's mind was still occupied by the newcomer's presence. Mostly you. She knew there was something captivating about you, something she couldn't quite put her finger on. Little did Bela know, this visit would be the beginning of a connection neither of you could ignore.
As the days passed, you found yourself becoming more accustomed to the castle. You had explored the various halls and rooms, each one showcasing the wealth and opulence of the Dimitrescu family. Meanwhile, Bela had noticed herself paying closer attention to you, finding herself drawn to your every move and gesture.
One evening, as the sun began to set, Bela found herself wandering the castle halls. She came across you, sitting in a quiet corner, lost in thought, reading a book. Without thinking, she approached you.
"May I join you for a moment?" Bela asked, her voice gentle as she took a seat beside you. She glanced over at you, a hint of curiosity in her gaze.
"Of course you may." You say with a sweet smile, putting down the book you were reading.
Bela couldn't help but be touched by the sweetness of your smile. She smiled back, her eyes not leaving yours as she spoke.
"You seem to have settled in quite well," she remarked, her voice taking on a more casual tone. "I hope the castle hasn't been too overwhelming for you."
"No, it's quite nice actually. I like it here." You look away, blushing a little. The tension between you two was visible.
Bela noticed the blush on your cheeks and felt her own heart skip a beat. There was something endearing about your shyness that drew her in.
"I'm glad to hear that." Bela replied, her voice laced with a hint of warmth. "The castle can be quite beautiful when you take the time to appreciate it."
"Sure it can be." You chuckled looking at her.
The two of you sat in comfortable silence for a few moments, each stealing glances at each other, the air between you two charged with a subtle tension.
Feeling emboldened by the moment, Bela decided to take a chance, there's nothing to lose anyway. She scooted a little closer to you, her knee gently brushing against yours.
"You know, there's a special place in the castle I'd like to show you." She said, her voice a low whisper. "It's a hidden spot not many know about. Would you be interested?"
"Yup, let's go! I'm curious." You quickly stood up waiting for Bela.
A small smile tugged at the corner of Bela's lips as you agreed to accompany her. She stood up after you and offered her hand to you.
"Follow me, Y/N." she said, the excitement barely concealed in her voice. Bela led you down a winding staircase, both of your footsteps echoing in the silence of the castle halls.
After several twists and turns, you finally arrived at a small, secluded room hidden away behind an unassuming door. Bela gently pushed open the door, gesturing for you to enter first.
As you stepped into the room, you were greeted by a breathtaking sight. The space was bathed in the soft glow of candles, casting shadows that danced across the stone walls. A large, comfortable sofa was placed strategically in the middle of the room, and the sweet scent of roses filled the air.
"This is one of my favorite spots in the castle." Bela confessed, closing the door behind her. "It's... Peaceful. I hope you like it."
"I see why it is your favorite spot... It's gorgeous." You look around, taking this breathtaking sight in.
"Definitely not more than you, Y/N." Bela's compliment took you by surprise, you look at her all flustered that earns a grin from her.
Bela led you over to the sofa, gesturing for you to take a seat. She settled down next to you, your thighs gently touching as you sat right next to each other. The proximity seemed to heighten the tension in the air, creating an almost magnetic pull between you two. Bela looked over at you, her gaze taking in every possible feature of yours. She couldn't deny the attraction she felt towards you; it was a confusing and exhilarating feeling that she hadn't expected. Clearing her throat, she spoke in a soft voice.
"I wanted to show you this place for a reason," Bela admitted, her voice soft and intimate. "I... I feel a connection between us, something I can't quite explain. I hope it doesn't sound too forward, but I've been thinking about you a lot lately."
You look at her, surprised, not expecting any of it.
"Bela... I thought that it's only me but since I've set foot in this castle I couldn't think of anything else but you."
Bela's eyes widened slightly at your confession. Hearing that the attraction was mutual sent a wave of relief and excitement through her.
"I know exactly what you mean." Bela replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "Ever since you arrived, I've felt this strange, undeniable pull towards you. I couldn't shake it, no matter how hard I tried."
She gently reached out, her fingers delicately brushing against the back of your hand, sending a thrill up her spine.
"I've tried to resist, to keep these feelings at bay," Bela continued, her eyes now fixed intently on your face. "But the more time I spend with you, the stronger they become."
"I feel the same, Bela..." You lean closer to her. The tension is building up. Her fingers continued to dance along the back of your hand, creating a slow, tantalizing caress. Bela leaned in a little closer, your faces now only inches apart.
"I can't ignore this anymore." Bela murmured, her voice a low, sultry murmur. "You're all I can think about. I... I need to be close to you. Closer than this."
"Kiss me." You pretty much command, feeling the need to taste her.
She slowly, deliberately, placed her free hand on your thigh, her touch sending electric currents zipping through your body.
The invitation was all Bela needed. Unable to resist any longer, she closed the distance between you, her lips gently brushing against yours.
The kiss was soft at first, but quickly grew more insistent, both of your desire taking over. Bela's hand on your thigh tightened ever so slightly, pulling you closer. She couldn't get enough of the taste, the touch of your skin.
You and Bela continue to get to know each other, not expecting for you and your family to leave any time soon.

Parallels/the story between mother Miranda and mama Isabella in my rpg with them being a couple
So, they have been together for ten months, married but not everything has been easy.
Isabella managed to escape from Gracefield (and alive), we know what supposedly happened, right? She adapted and began living in France, even adopting the surname "Desrosier" She became a great lawyer and she is a great woman in business, in getting what she wants and knowing when to back down and act like a good person. She has many social skills except when her feelings are genuine.
And one day, she was traveling to Romania, there she met her new client, Alcina Dimitrescu, who was having many accusations about the situations of the castle maids and the horrors that happened there. Serious accusations from those who managed to escape the castle.
And for Isabella, it was like working with demons all over again.
Alcina gets very stressed about business, it is difficult to be an entrepreneur in the new century, different from what it was in the 1900s onwards. She and Isabella met regularly in the capital of Romania but one day Alcina couldn't go, she sent one of her daughters instead; in fact she wanted to send Bela but Bela was busy with her "grandmother" and in her place went Cassandra.
Cassandra always liked fun and business was boring for her but she behaved herself and at the end of the day she managed to drag Isabella to a party to take advantage of the fact that they were in the capital. Isabella hates parties. So there she was hiding in the bar drinking a good wine and after a few hours she managed to talk a little with Cassandra and in that conversation Cassandra mentions her "grandma" Miranda. This caught Isabella's attention.
Miranda's small cult had become something big, now she owned beautiful churches, beautiful cathedrals and had enough money to invest even more in research to save her Eva.
And Isabella was determined, she knew that now that she was over forty, getting married would be difficult, not that she cared about it, she didn't care. She even dated a man before but ended it. But she wanted to meet Miranda, a woman with a lot of power, maybe it was Isabella's instincts to go after that.
So, she finds Miranda at the church and she waits for everyone to leave to talk to Miranda. She is then impressed, Miranda is beautiful, blonde, tall with hers 1.85 meters. And nervously, she doesn't know how to hide what she feels when it's genuine so she says to Miranda:
"you're my wife."
Miranda laughs, she looks at that woman, beautiful but bold. In disbelief she asks "what?"
Miranda has always known she was a lesbian, she knows it's normal, she's a biologist and she knows that homosexuality is normal at the same time she was born in the late 1800's in Eastern Europe where it's not normal, at least it wasn't in the past.
Isabella gets mad, why is her new wife laughing? She wants something, she gets it. But she doesn't show anger, she has a calm smile. "You are my wife."
Miranda was in disbelief, she could kill this woman with one hand without making any effort and she was there wanting to impose something. She was also suspicious, what does she want?
"And what makes you believe that I like women?"
Isabella remained silent, staring at Miranda as if it were obvious and Miranda with her arms crossed.
"I know what my wife likes."
Miranda raised an eyebrow, still in disbelief at how bold this woman could be.
"And what's your name?"
"Isabella."
And in this way, Isabella convinces Miranda to go out with her. Miranda wanted to find out what this woman wanted.
But Isabella was serious, she imposed herself and was going to get what she wanted even if it took months and Miranda, suspicious, was going to dissect and know everything about this woman and her intentions.
And so their story begins.

Inefable plan
Part 3.
Bela Dimitrescu x g!p reader
Note: brain rot about Daniela sorry, Bela will appear soon. I hope.
"I think I love you as I will had loved my sibling if I could had one"
"I was thinking that maybe we could go to auntie donna place, the waterfall is beautiful! The perfect place for a date!"
"That's why you bring me here? I have better things to do than listen to your childish fantasies Daniela"
"Is not childish! And you were the one that wanted to keep us a secret! I'm just doing what you wanted! "
"Whathever, I'm already here. Why don't you use your mouth for something good? I have been so stressed lately"
"Can we just pass time together?, the sky is full of stars tonight maybe we can go stargazing, it will be romantic!"
"We should have a picnic, we should go to the lake, we should go stargazing, Dear Mother Miranda I can't stand you anymore, I have enough of you, get lost"
"what?"
"I had enough of you, you are too annoying I can't stand you anymore"
"You can't what? Why?... You said you loved me-YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME!"
"You were just a good fuck, did you really think somebody could love any of you?"
"How delu-AGH"
"How stupid"
Voices, shadows, images, memories from a long time ago of one sickly stupid useless girl.
You can't do anything.
She is sorry her chest hurt so much while cleaning she was almost done, please mom.
You are an hindrance.
She would stay out the way! She wouldn't bother you dad!
Why they can't love her?
If you can't give me a child then you had no use to me.
NO NO NO IT'S TOO COLD OUTSIDE OPEN THE DOOR PLEASE SHE WOULD BE GOOD WIFE PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR SHE DON'T WANT TO DIE
Why he can't love her?
Recent memories started mixing with the past ones.
"Yes keep going this how friends help friends"
"I love you too, why don't you let me show you my love?"
"Shut your mouth pretty girls should stay quiet"
The voices grow louder and louder.
"Annoying" "Useless" "Worthless" "Pathetic" "Stupid" "Delusional" "Unlovable"
UNLOVABLE
A gentle voice call for her but is drowned by the cruel ones repeating the same word again and again.
"Unlovable, unlovable, unlovable" Why, why, why.
"She lied to you, nothing she said is true" the soft voice said, it's familiar.
She feel arms around her, she nows is safe, now the shadows can't touch her.
"You are mine and Cass's precious baby sister, a beloved daughter for our mother, an adored niece to our uncles and aunt and the dearest granddaughter of our grandmother Miranda, you are part of a big family that loves you so much, we would always love you not matter what. "
The voice is Bela, her sister....
...she sounds so sad because of her.
Why is she such a mess?
Why she always causes trouble?
She should stay away but the embrace of her sister was something that she can't deny.
How pathetic she is.
--—------------------------------------------
If she stayed in the library she won't cause trouble or be in the way. So that's what she did, stay quiet be small is better like this.
If only her family could understand that. Her sisters will come to her with invitations to go hunting, riding or simply hang out together. Her mother will come with a tray full of her favorites dishes and won't go away until she finishes everything.
Why they can see they will be better without her?
"I think that story is pretty depressing"
A maid is talking to her? Why? What she want to get from her?
"I prefer this one, made my bad days better" it's a tattered nothing like the majestic books in the library but she knows that to be like that it must be read it frequently, why are you offering her this? " Tell me what you think after you finished, lady Daniela." oh, well she had never read this book.
She took the book nodding without words, she had nothing to say to you.
----------------------------------__----------
The poor peasant, a humble but talented coobler fall in love with one of the daughters of the king after being summoned to work for shoes for the queen.
The youngest sister, Sera was betrothed to a foreign prince, but unknown to her family he was cruel, she naive about the world fall easily in his twisted games.
The coobler discovered this and told everything to the oldest, Kara, that enraged made her mission to cause suffering to the prince. The coobler help her as he considered the youngest his friend. Seeing another side of the shy boy plus his caring nature made easy for Kara to fall in love.
It was amazing and the schemes were really funny.
The next time that she sees you in the library, she run towards you, she was so excited that she forgets that she could simply swarm to you.
"I had never read this! It was amazing! The coobler was so sweet! And the prince was such an asshole"
"I know right? I was cheering every time the princess knocked his ego, after all the shitty ways he hurt her sister it was well deserved, I almost pass out laughing when he fell in the stable direct in the horse shit"
"Me too!"
After that every time that you have duties in the library she will talk about some of her favorite stories and you will tell her yours.
Her sisters always overprotective would watch every interaction either discreetly with some flies or glaring at you when they were with her in the library. At first you were worried but after some days you were calmer and even sometimes she would catch smiling at their direction. It was pride or relief? She can't make sense of your actions.. Unless you... You were in love with her! And this was your way of proving yourself to her family!
----------------------------------------------
"I think I love you as I will had loved my sibling if I could had one"
What?...you love her but as a sibling?
"Can we talk more when Friday comes? I need to go lady Daniela I have more work to"
She let you go easily, your declaration was something that nobody had ever tell her.
Maids will say that they love her like lovers. Just to end breaking her heart up when they can't keep the lie.
Or say they preferred to be friends just to use her and abuse her trust.
Nobody had ever said that they see her as family. Except for, well, her family.
It sounds..
Safe... Good.
You bicker with her when she spoils the story you were currently reading or when you two had different about the characters.
You remind her of eating when she loses track of the time engrossed in her books.
You support her when she is having a bad day, you won't hug her but you will talk about louder than the voices that acossed her mind and will stay longer even if you end up being scolded by Greta the head maid for taking so much time in the library.
You act a lot like her sisters do even if you are limited by your status as a maid of the castle. If you weren't...
But how?
Her mama adopted her but she doesn't think she will do the same with you. Maybe if she put her best puppy eyes?
... No, It won't work.
The other option is that you married one of her sisters so you can become her sister in law.
... That could work
But Cassandra is... Cassandra, even if she was interested you are too soft for her, you flinch at the violence and looks close to fainting when is your turn to clean the gore in the room.
Bela is a workaholic she is not interested in romance at all, the most she does is sleep with maids that ask her and that she finds pretty enough.
What to do, what to do.
Wait.
If you date any of her sisters you would have less time with her!
She knows how possessive they are! They will keep you all for them!
Maybe she can wait a little before playing matchmaker, she wants to hang out with you more.
She is not being possessive! She knows how to share!
She will show you how wonderful being part of her family is and then she will guide you to one of her sisters!
You will become her sister at last!
Yes, is a good plan.
