‘Egypt’ by The Zangaki Brothers (1870-1890)

C. and G. Zangaki were two Greek brothers who were active photographers in Egypt from the 1870s to 1890s.

The brothers traveled along the Nile accompanied with a horse-drawn darkroom wagon to document the Egyptian scenery and events. 

Images included views of the pyramids, e.g., Cheops or the Sphinx and the cities, e.g., Suez or Alexandria, as well of Egyptians going about their daily lives, a teacher and pupils, men by the Nile, or women at home. 

The pictures taken were sold as souvenirs to European tourist.

kahar/fakhri: used to be a bit skeptical about fakhri/kahar but now i've grown to like their dynamics... like please view this pairing with an open heart. so my hc for them is whatever kahar was doing to fakhri during his reign as kapla was all just a projection of whatever megat did to him masa dia form 4. since he probably has horrible coping mechanisms due to lack of sources in kudrat, thats one way to keep him sane la. (lagi insane dibuatnya adala!!) of course la there will be bodily explorations here and there cuz where else right they gain experience on that other than brawling and smoking and getting high altogether? but theres no romantic motives behind it since theres no room for that between those two. but they just get each other, faham tak? cuz both are helpless bongsus. the post-credit scene just solidifies this since they're all buddy buddy now. but that's just it. sometimes kahar would come to the ismets house to buka puasa together. and kahar became a regular there, thus becoming a family friend. like aku ada utk ko, ko ada utk aku typa beat. but time sekolah dulu they fuck like rabbits la ofc, trying this and that sampai hakeem pun cam "yela.... aku ni sape je kan kat ko...." *cue muka hakeem mintak penyepak* "ko kapel dgn aku tapi ko tak nak try kongkek aku pon?!" like sabar dow, keem. sifu tgh belajar dgn fakhri lu.

kahar/hakeem: making a leeway from the first hc, sebenarnya kahar takmau rosakkan hakeem in that way. cuz their love is so pure to kahar. dia nak approach that side dengan hakeem with utmost care. dia dah sakitkan hakeem before this and he wouldn't dare to do that to lil keem keem no more. kahar mcm nak "master" hal2 bawah selimut dulu baru dia ajar hakeem benda bukan2 yang kita dok baca selalu tu. AND!! they're private, but not a secret. dekat sini la is where he gets all sticky ooey gooey (thanks bungakekwa for ur service). hakeem la satu satunya tempat dia mengadu, tempat dia be so vulnerable, hakeem je tau everything about him inside and out. as you can see from the movies kan? his gaze would soften everytime hakeem comes to intervene. only soft touches and gazes. you can only see kahar's genuine smile whenever he's around hakeem. i meannnn who wouldn't fall for hakeem's million dollar smile? i have a soft spot dekat alang, i wanna yap more about him cuz hes just sofdhskdhsjsbs nothing can tear them apart. nada. hakeem je that could only see this side of kahar, the manja kahar. hakeem is the place where he gives and receives love. everyone around kahar would tell him otherwise about hakeem, yet ONLY hakeem je yang nak kahar grow into the best version of himself. grow Healthily ya. but of course no one sees that. siapa je nak fikir pasal kapla interim kita? only kahar and hakeem would know what lies in their heads and hearts. although we always see kahar and hakeem glued together 24/7, they're so so so private. all those promises they made during high school would still be pinned in their minds, because they're that inseparable. they're each other's beacons. sampai pernah berangan nak lari gi thailand sbb nak kawin la katenye. klate kan dekat dgn thailand. in my head, they still keep in contact with each other after they graduated high school. both would sacrifice money and time just to see each other every two months since time tu takde social media sangat. check in laaaa pe lagi en. hehe. bachok 8 jam lagi jauh tau dari nismilan! beja dgn abu yamin tau je depa ada udang disebalik mee, tu yang depa dua gigih nak tear them apart. sebab beja dah kena sepak dgn ayoh dulu sbb kantoi couple dgn megat. tu yang abu yamin selalu berbulu je dengan all anak2 abu yamin punya "best friend". makes you think, kan? macam abu yamin pun ada history yang sama pulak.... hehe kita tunggu movie kudrat '68 ye. but ahhhhh these two shaylas could give me diabetes just thinking about them!!! let me know if you wanna hear more about my thoughts on kahar/hakeem hehe

reza/megat: this one...... ohoho.... soooo many layers ye. this one i'm still collecting my thoughts on since it's quite a fresh pairing. tapi alaaa dia lebih kurang macam kahar/hakeem jugak masa sekolah, but if it was fucked up. no happy endings with these boys at all. megat walaupun he still sees beja after graduating as a friend, can lepak for a smoke and makan2 here and there, but he will never, i mean never, go back to his old ways with beja no more. of course the yearning and longing is still there between those two, since kahar keeps being the glue of the brotherly figures, but some things are not meant to be the same anymore. it's almost as if megat is scared that his lil tissue heart gets broken by beja again. kahar ada la kenen2kan both of them again, whenever beja and megat would meet mesti beja bawak kahar sekali "to keep himself grounded", but these stupid boys have soooo many unresolved tensions that needed to be forced out of them to keep their heads quiet whenever they meet eyes. PLEASE GO TO THERAPY, BOTH OF YOU!!!! beja sometimes would envy kahar's relationships with people around him, his brother's everlasting love with hakeem, his brotherhood he had with megat when they plotted beja's internal death and even his father wouldn't keep his mouth shut about little baby bechik, despite his horrible words he said about the runt of the litter katanya. how does kahar keep people so close to him despite his prominent weakness? haaaa. beja just couldn't keep people close in his life la since yang narcisstic tu dia! bukan megat, bukan kahar, bukan ayoh dia, but abdul reza! but i digress. everything in reza's life is a ticking timebomb, even himself, waiting for some type of destruction. the loss of his relationship with megat was one of his biggest destructions. speaking of beja and megat, sir razaisyam also had awesome headcanons during the alpha47 garage sale about these two that still keeps me up at night. like, why are you keeping the fact that megat lovessssssssssss reza deeply to yourself?! we need more exposure about these two!! tolongla.

so,what are your headcanons fro the fandom aka projek high council? Also,I love your pfp.

I have so few headcanons about projek high council it's countable. I've not watched the entirety and filled in the gaps with some of my brother's explanation, but I can talk about Kahar: Kapla High Council, the movie one.

A bit of spoiler;

•Megat, the previous Kapla feels like someone who'll do the opposite of what he's told. Im headcanoning he hid a few piercings because it feels like something he'd do for the fun of it and to spite others.

•Beja, Kahar's brother is a papa's boy. My headcanon is that he actually isn't, he instead has a brother complex. He absolutely loves Kahar and would do anything to try and help him. In his studies, his social circle, maybe even against bullies(nah Kahar won't have those). He'll also be overbearing and overprotective so any future spouse Kahar gets will probably be faced his a deep personality and background check. Let's face it, Beja would totally give a shovel talk even to a girl.

•Also Kahar's roommate, Hakeem absolutely wears skincare. He takes care of his face to the max. To quote, "muka aku ni je aset aku". I'm sure he has a steady skin texture that others would be in wonder about. Especially in the High Council business.
