You and her pick up a good rhythm where if you constantly need to be running, you switch out so the other can regenerate some stamina if Sprout isn't nearby. Each switch out is stamped by a quick peck along with a call of an airhorn to call the Twisted's attention away.

☁ Healer toon? Sold.

☁ Shelly loves, loves, loves getting healed by you a million percent. She'll never go out of her way to get hit, of course not, but she's a little more willing to play emergency distractor if thats the case. Even if it means getting scolded by you. Every time you're healing her, you never leave without a parting kiss, and really who can blame her if that's her reward?!

☁ Vee, like Sprout, is the worst for being healed. She doesn't like sitting still, she doesn't like appearing like she isn't the best to you. She'll pout the entire time, but, much like Shelly, once you bestow a kiss upon her for a reward, she's sparking between the antennae and perking right up, immediately pulling you back for what she's deem a proper kiss.

☁ Tisha is the one who gets healed the most, but she's endlessly apologetic. She doesn't try to get hit, but sometimes she looses sight over where that one Twisted went and is swiftly reminded where they went. She tries her hardest not to get hit though and always returns the reward you bestow upon her with a kiss of her own, filled with giggles.

☁ It doesn't matter what kind of toon you are, especially with these girlies. They are always so supportive and loving.

☁ Vee loves having game nights with you guys, playing some version of her game show with you three as her contestants. She caters the questions to your guys' special interests and always just lights up when she sees how excited the three of you get.

☁ Moreso when you start learning each others special interests and she gets to watch as Shelly gapes over you or Tisha beating her to the buzzer about dinosaurs.

☁ Cleaning with Tisha too is insane. She's a bit of a neat freak and that bleeds into every part of her life, her day-to-day included. Your room is always immaculate and Tisha can get pouty if you guys aren't mindful of it.

☁ Vee is also on the neater side, argue with the wall. Tisha is endless appreciative even if you and Shelly are a little messier. It's a give and take with them really.

☁ While she won't need someone to walk with her, she does like keeping you all in her line of sight, even if that seems impossible.

☁ Speaking of, Dandy forbid, you get hurt. These girls? Protective to a fault. Tisha frets like a mother, making sure the wound stays clean even as the healer tries to get her out of the way to look at it.

☁ Shelly is also near hysterics as she worries you're going to die, even if it's just a simple flesh wound. You probably have to comfort her while Sprout or Ginger or Cosmo is healing you, lol.

☁ VEE. Oh-ho-ho. Vee already hates Dandy, and the feeling is very much reciprocated. So if you get hurt on a floor he's supposed to show up, and he's there without a heal?

☁ She's literally grabbing him by skin of his chest and yanking him close enough she could really emphasize her point. She's hurling threats of harm and dismemberment his way, demanding a first aid kit. Whether she gets it or not I guess depends on how far you were or if this is just a minor injury.

☁ Even if she does get it, you're already healed by the time she turns around lol.

☁ If it's the cards and there's a medical option, she's daring someone to pick another option. Her and Sprout have probably clashed on this before, but their besties, it's bound to happen.

Once, I saw a woman on Instagram criticizing the porn industry, and I immediately knew there would be some man in the comments getting defensive. What I didn't expect to see was a man who wrote, "Women criticize porn as if they don't write about having sex with fictional men."

As someone who despises the porn industry but actively reads smut, id argue that women writing smut is a direct effect of the ways porn has impacted women's sexual expression.

Why do women choose to sexually express themselves through fictional characters and celebrities? If a teenage boy wants to have sex, he's just being a boy. If a teenage girl wanted to have sex, something had to have happened to her. That's concerning. Men can have a lot of sex. He's a man. Of course, he's going to want to have sex. Women can't have sex; women having sex is slutty. Nobody likes a whore. Blowjobs? That's normal. Eating a girl out? Don't be gross. Thats disgusting. Women can't sexually express themselves without being judged in society, but you know who won't judge them? People they understand they have no chance with, like celebrities and fictional characters. This is why a lot of queer men also partake in "fangirl" culture because queer sexual expression is also shunned in society, so there has to be some sort of outlet.

This brings me to my next topic, the difference between porn and smut. They're not different in the way porn was made for men by men and smut was made for women by women. If I went on pornhub, the first thing ill see is, "Big tits virgin teen girl gets choked out by massive 10-inch cock." Women aren't equal to men in porn. Porn makes women objects; in porn, women's sexuality does not exist. Women don't have sexual needs outside of what the man wants. Once, I heard someone say, "In a pornsick culture, women don't have sex; they perform it." Meanwhile, in smut, it's the opposite. Even if the writer is writing with sub and dom dynamics typically, there will always be an underlying sense of trust, with moments of obvious consent, whether that is verbal, a touch, or a glance.

This isn't to say women don't write about rough sex. They do. There are so many fics that involve extreme kink aspects, but more times than not, there will be that trust and consent.

But what if there's not? I've seen it. if you read smut, you've probably seen questionable tags, too. It's important to mention that just because mostly women write smut, there are straight men who do it, too. I've read smut, which was painfully obvious it was written by a man. That being said, women also write questionable... smut. Going back to my most recent statement, women are shown and taught that they are objects. So it's not completely absurd to say you will find smut written by women that objectifies them; when you condition someone to an idea, it's hard to unlearn that. It's hard to understand sexuality as a woman when society is telling you not to be slutty but to also submit and to perform for a man and his sexual needs because in a man's world, his sexual needs, by default, are your sexual needs.

Is smut damaging to women? Well, I'm not a psychologist. I'm just a nineteen year old girl who likes to read smut about Spencer Reid and is also a feminist. So, I do not know how qualified I am to answer this question, but what I will say is I think that as long as women are not writing smut and portraying themselves as sexual beings living for the sole purpose of men.... smut is a perfectly healthy way to express sexuality :) all in all porn is fucking scary, and so is men and sex and being intimate it’s all really scary but smut is an easy way to express your sexuality in a safe anonymous space.

some notes on wolverines (mustelidae) and Logan

cause new hyperfixation (its been goin on since a few weeks ago). gonna preface this by saying i have only seen the first x-men movie, and whatever else i found on tiktok n tumblr through my hyperfixation hoarding, so if anything is wrong or actually canon (or not canon) I'm sorry

notes under cut:

wolverines, while technically weasels, theyre the largest terrestrial weasel, and can weigh 26-50lbs.

Logan, is 5'3, but weighs at least 300lbs due to the admantium skeleton (195lbs without, meaning this small furry smelly man is just pure bulk)

wolverines are muscular n stocky and have thick fur (also waterproof n oily to prevent frost n such in them harsh canadian forests), are native to canada but can be found in similar environments, and are described as lil balls of violence and are extremely territorial around their food, family, and themselves (only out of necessity in order to survive the winter wastelands they live in). they also lack social skills and pack behavior like wolves

Logan, hairy beefy man, born in canada, described as an asshole, is violent n aggressive, but also severely traumatized. now with the fur, wolverines are nicknamed skunkcats because of how much they reek (they also mark whatever carcass they stole or found so nothing else can take it from em or where they buried it). if Logan (who canonically reeks) has waterproof n oily fur, it must be real difficult getting him to shower (not to mention he doesnt like getting wet) and also the water will not be able to get to his fucking skin because hes built to survive canadian woods.

wolverines are also commonly found in trees, as they use the height to locate prey and eventually pounce onto said prey

from some of the panel screenshots ive seen, Logan isnt unfamiliar with climbing onto trees

wolverines have been known to take on animals 3x their size, such as fuckin Moose, polar bears, elk n caribou, etc etc (only difference here between the mustelid and Logan is that there is no known attack on a human by a wolverine).

while wolverines have semi-retractable claws, Logan's claws are fully retractable. they (both the animal and Logan) have huge paws/hands, for the animal, its to prevent sinking into the snow

along with the thick waterproof fur and stocky build, theyre latin name gulo basically means glutton, so they have to eat a fuck load in order to maintain their body temp (usually they just eat their weight or very frequent small meals, but larger stuff is common), also theyre carnivorous but will eat anything they can find or kill, usually carcasses from avalanches n such, aka opportunity eaters

i have heard that Logan eats a shit ton, especially meat, but only large meals when alone, and small meals more frequently at the mansion. with the body heat thing, it must be super hard for him post-adamantium to keep his body temp at a normal range without literally sitting in the sun all day.

despite the aggressiveness they develop in the wild, when domesticated (which ive heard/read is super easy than you would think), they become very attached to one person, who usually is the trusted handler. they exhibit very cat-like behaviors, except wolverines actually like being picked up and wearing harnesses, they also like pets (but again, the trusted handler thing). they can become calm when hearing a high pitched obnoxious voice, and can go into a kind of trance when their gums are rubbed.

not sure about the cat behaviors n harnesses n other shit for Logan, but with the voice thing: Wade. thats all i really need to say about that

wolverines are naturally polygamous, but do come back to the female every so often to help raise the kits. theres a video of a wolverine male leaving out a moose leg near a female's den so she can have something for the kits to eat

you there. i wanna ask you a question. In the Dialtown Phone Dating Sim Universe would yaoi be a word used to describe m/m pairings like it is in our world or would it be used to describe pairings between two phone headed people? I ask because out of universe Oliver and Karen are both described as "gay", but this only extends to them wanting to date exclusively phones or typewriters-- gender doesn't actually factor into the equation at all. And from an out of universe perspective it is simply set up this way as a compromise so characters don't all have to be vaguely bisexual but players don't have to play the game as any specific gender if they don't want to. Which is all well and good. but it opens a beautiful world of implications.

First. we have to ask ourselves if this is the standard everywhere or just how these two specific characters experience sexuality. Like there very well could be characters who are, for example, exclusively attracted to women and the head type doesn't matter. The topic simply isn't explored enough in depth within the game itself to make any definitive conclusions--but i have to assume there's variation on this given the nature of human sexuality is hardly rigid.

It should be noted that head type and gender often going together but not necessarily correlating is a progressive stance in universe. Typewriter=girl and phone=boy is both, likely seen as a more rigid, unchangeable rule by more conservative people and is something that the game itself doesn't really challenge outside of the player character. There are no canonical phone women or typewriter men npcs in the game. So even in Dialtown, a place said to be more progressive than other areas in terms of object head politics on account of being its origin point, its not particularly common. And the assumption is if your head doesn't correlate with your gender identity than you would want to change it.

But like. Gingi can't be the only person with the potential to defy this. statistically speaking. There have to be phone women and typewriter men who either can't get their head changed for one heath reason or another or simply want to have their head not one to one correlate with their gender either as an expression of identity or occupation. I'm sure their are male journalists or authors who have typewriter heads or female telemarketers or hotline operators with phone heads for the sake of convenience who have nothing extraordinary to say about their genders otherwise. After all, occupation seems to outrank gender in terms of head presentation, at least in Dialtown.

Plus, the head type gender dichotomy is extremely arbitrary (as all socially gendered things are) and is only set up that way because one guy 50 some years ago liked the idea. But that doesn't change what is and isn't considered ""normal"" in the game's world. Is head/gender discrepancy a big enough issue to have a bearing on pop culture? is yaoi only yaoi if its both m/m AND phone/phone because thats the baseline expectation or does only one half of the equation have to be true and if so WHICH takes precedent

How to deal w a longtime friend that at some point became a radfem? I was bad at recognising it back then when there were clear signs and didnt know how to argue, so i stayed passive and argeeable, esp since im a nonbinary guy n shes a (sorta questioning) cis girl.

My thoughts on the women being the brain cell thing is that men are "supposed" to be like. Hyperactive and goofy so when they do it it's normal. Even when they're not acting that way, they're purposely interpreted that way (I see this a lot with Grian). This creates a contrast between them and women, making women seem reasonable even if they're not being reasonable (Pearl is often very reckless in the life series, but people like to see her as motherly for some reason). Therefore, they're labeled as the brain cell.
