Part 1 of God knows how many of a fanfic I'm writing based off of @beachbeibi 's AU!!! All credit goes to them, and please make sure to go and check out the comic that inspired this?! And a big thank you to them for allowing me to make this!!!

On the strawhats way to their next island, they accidentally crashed a princes wedding. Trying to be subtle, they all tried to blend in, dressing nicely and enjoying the booze served, when a specific blonde prince caught Zoros eye. The groom.. he looked miserable next to his wife, fists clenched and eyes downcast. Zoro immediately felt himself fall in love, and despite Nami's protests, approached him. The spoke together while Sanji smoked, explaining excitedly about his dream for when he left that place, and how it was an arranged marriage he didn't want. Though, one thing led to another and Zoro fucked the groom, coming out to the others in the crew panicking and saying they needed to leave now as they were onto them

"We need to leave.."

Zoro stated firmly, voice shaky as he stood next to a flushed groom

Sanji laughed softly, waving to the strawhats nervously as he looked between Luffy and Nami. Both him and the swordsman had hickies faintly upon their neck, and it immediately became clear what happened after Zoro left to pursue the groom, and prince.

"I-I heard you're looking for a chef?.."

Nami shot a glare at Zoro, trying to say without words just how much of an inconvenience this was, and Zoro just knew damn well that this entire encounter would be a burden upon his wallet. The navigator let out a huff, slowly nodding as she looked over at Sanji, knowing that they had no choice but to take him with them.

"We are looking for a cook... you are one, right?"

She asked cautiously, only to be met with a quick and eager nod on Sanji's end

"I've been teaching myself since I was a kid!"

He quickly responded, despite the way he nervously pulled at the collar of his shirt, an embarrassed giggle leaving his lips as his eyes darted over the people in the room, lingering cautiously on Judge and his 'brothers'.

Nami nodded, grabbing Zoro by the ear and pulling him away lightly to scold him

"I told you this was a bad idea!"

Nami hissed out, slapping Zoro harshly across the face as Zoro let out a scoff, holding his cheek and glaring at Nami

"Shut up! It's not my fault he's cute, witch.."

Nami let out an exhausted sigh and let go of Zoro, stepping back as she looked over at the flustered groom, with the swordsman standing close behind - knowing better than to look at him for too long as it'd only earn him getting teased by the rest of the crew.

"Sanji.. Vinsmoke Sanji... Third prince of Germa. And you are- The strawhat pirates if I remember correctly. And marimo over there is your swordsman."

Nami, though, seemed intent on brushing past the details and awnsering his rhetorical questions, instead focusing on the thing that caught her attention the most as she raised an eyebrow at the name Germa.

"You're from the Germa Kingdom, huh? I did wonder what this wedding was for.."

Sanji, though, was left stunned as he stared at Nami blankly for a few moments, slowly blinking as the silence felt deafening.

"T-This wedding is for the alliance between Germa 66 and the Big Mom Pirates?"

Nami and Zoro shared a look at the mention of Big Mom, one of the four emperors. That certainly wasn't good...

She let out a heavy sigh, her hands falling upon her hips as her head downturned, clearly not pleased at all with the way this was going - and most certainly planning just how much this'd cost Zoro.

"Are you okay with us stealing you away, atleas--"

"Oh, absolutely! Please do!! I'll pay you to?!"

Sanji responded before Nami could even finish her sentence, his entire demeanour brightening up as he suddenly turned eager. He dropped to one knee, grasping one of the navigators hands in both of his own. He clearly wanted to get out of this place desperately. Though, he quickly shut himself up as Nami looked at him with that stunned look. He'd said too much..

"No payment needed."

Zoros jaw almost dropped. Seriously?! Nami was letting him get off without paying? That was a first.. Though, the swordsman was still reeling from the fact he'd just slept with this guy - and now he was to be apart of the crew?.. His thoughts were interrupted by Sanji's voice again

"Seriously? You're willing to take me?! Oh, I need to tell my sister the news so she can tell my mother! I'll be just a moment!"

Nami chuckled lightly, nodding as she watched Sanji practically run to a woman with pink hair. Something about him told her that he would be a good addition to the crew... And a damn change from all these damn creatures Luffy had been recruiting recently! He was infuriating.. though, the navigator turned to look at Zoro as he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?"

The navigator sighed, rubbing the back of her neck as she nodded wearily. She knew it wouldn't be hard to sell the idea to Luffy. All it would take would be to say that he was a cook and Luffy would want him on immediately.

"Yes.. he seems nice, and our crew is in desperate need for a cook. Usopps handy, but I'm so sick of fish!"

I'm so sorry for not uploading last week, by the way!! I was at comicon, but I'm trying to keep up an uploading schedule of every weekend!! Enjoy!

Luffy was now bouncing up and down, eagerly waiting for Sanji to rejoin them after he'd disappeared to tell his sister that he was leaving. Once the group noticed him approaching, the rubber man waved him over excitedly

"Oiiii!! Sanjiii!! Are you ready to go?!"

The prince nodded, eyes lingering on Judge and Big Mom, who were conversing over by the table. As soon as he noticed this was an opening, he rushed out the door, a cigarette lit already by the time he'd stepped out. Though, what he didn't notice was the navigator following him cautiously, watching his every move. Just incase this was a setup...

"You smoke, huh? How old are you, anyway?"

"Twenty-one..."

He muttered in response. He was the same age as Zoro, and ever so slightly taller. While his every movement was cautious, he seemed to hold a sense of regality to himself, even when his eyes darted around as he began to lead them to the safest escape route. Nami began to seriously wonder what sort of a past this man had... She immediately noted how tense he seemed, constantly on edge. What on earth happened to him?

"And you're the third prince of Germa 66... right?"

She questioned with a sense of caution to her tone, while Sanji nodded and ushered the strawhats through the gates, his gaze lingering on Zoro specifically, mind wandering back to-..

"Are you not coming?"

The swordsmans voice cut through his thoughts like a blade, and Sanji almost flinched at the interruption, standing just at the edge of the gates.

He nodded, gaze turning to the castle as he stared at it for just a moment, hands shaking as he tugged at the odd golden handcuffs that were chainless, his urgency increasing with each tug of them. Zoro carefully stepped back through the gates, a tinge of worry in his usually stoic expression.

"Hey, calm down. We'll get them off. Just come back to our ship with us and we can see if our sniper can do anything."

He moved closer, eyes studying the cuffs closely. They looked strong, and likely impossible to get off without a key. Though, knowing Usopp, Zoro didn't doubt he could find something to get them off. Maybe he could-

"If I leave these gates before I get these off.. they will blow my hands off straight at the wrists."

They all froze. Zoro stared at the princes face with wide eyes, being the first to speak up

"They.. what?!"

The rest of the others shared the same look of horror, and even Luffy, despite his usual carefree and bashful demeanour, seemed to actually be taking this situation seriously.

"There has to be a way to remove these without them exploding.. right?"

The prince sighed, not knowing if there was truly a way. Though, Nami seemed determined. They'd just found a morsel of hope in the form of a damn cook - something they'd been desperately needing for adges! She placed a hand on her chin, trying to think of a solution.

"We need to figure out a way to get them off. Unless we take inspiration from Zoro and chop his hands off and get Chopper to reattach them."

Zoro and Luffy, being idiots, nodded in agreement as they placed a hand on their chins in sync. Though, their thoughts were put abruptly to a stop by Sanji's frantic voice

"No, no, no!!"

He seemed to shout instantly, his foot stepping over the boarder between the castle gates and the world beyond. Though, he felt his body tense as he quickly retracted it again, running a hand through his hair a few times out of the stress this was causing him

"My hands are the most precious things to me, ever! I- You can't just chop them off?! If I didn't care about them, I'd have left long before you all came along!"

Both Luffy and Zoro stopped nodding in sync, lowering their hands as Luffy spoke up first, a slight pout of disappointment crossing his lips as he saw their chance to get a cool new member slipping through their fingers simply because of his attachment to his hands

"Why not? It was the easiest solution!"

He huffed out impatiently, crossing his arms as Zoro nodded in agreement with a frown. Though, Nami seemed as exasperated with the two as usual as she pinched the bridge of her nose and gave them a disapproving stare, causing the two to grumble at the rejection of their 'brilliant solution. Though, the navigator only rolled her eyes at their idiocy.

"Please.. don't cut off my hands.."

Sanji took a few steps away from the gate as he spoke in a low whisper. They couldn't just cut off his hands.. how on earth would he ever cook then?! He needed to achieve his dream.. he needed to.. Though, as he glanced up at Nami, he only saw her rubbing her temples and muttering to herself while Luffy and Zoro continued complaining about how it was the 'easiest solution', causing her to snap.

"We need to think of something else! We can't just stand around arguing about chopping off his arms!"

She scolded, her frustration reaching new levels as the duo grumbled again at the chiding. They'd never been fond of her bossing them around, especially when they already had a good idea in their heads.

"Just shut up already and help me figure something out!"

The navigator huffed out, her patience running out. She was seriously at her wits end with these two, especially while they were on such a delicate time limit.. Though, she was pulled out of her thoughts as she felt someone grasping her hands, looking up to see Sanji. His chivalrous nature kicked in, and he wouldn't just stand around watching her struggle...

"Oh, of course I'll help you, Nami swan!"

The three stared in sheer and utter horror as they saw Sanji standing outside of the gate, half expecting him to blow up on the spot. Though.. he didn't?

Nami could almost hit Sanji for delaying their departure over something that wasn't even real.. Luffy cut in before she could even scold him, though, a huge grin on the captains face as he pointed at Sanji

"Hey! Your hands didn't blow up!!

Zoro stayed still, stunned as he stared at the prince, who was now being abruptly shoved off and hit upside the head by Nami for both touching her without permission, and also wasting their precious time. Sanji smiled nervously in response, glancing down at his wrists as he tugged the cuffs, watching as they fell off with the simple movement.

"I didn't know! Well- I really should've known when it was Reiju putting them on me.."

The three had mixed reactions upon hearing as such. Luffy was ecstatic again as the thought of gaining a new crewmate, and one who could cook, filled his head once more, Zoro simply relieved that Sanji didn't get hurt (despite the fact he was reluctant to show it), though, Nami was as annoyed as ever as she groaned in frustration.

"You're gonna have to pay for wasting our damn time like that!"

Though, Luffys carefree demeanour cut through the tension as he burst into boisterous laughter, clutching his chest

"You mean you could've left this whole time?!"

Sanji almost wanted to crawl up into a hole and die as he tried to recover and backtrack

"I-If I'd have known, id have been long gone, alright?!"

He hissed out, face beginning to burn with embarrassment. How the hell could he have not known they were fakes all this time?! Nami shook her head once more, a frustrated sigh leaving her lips.

"You're so damned incompetent.."

Luffy was still laughing, his eyes filled with amusement. Though, Zoro couldn't help but quietly join in as he stepped forward with a grin upon his face, linking arms with Sanji

"Whatever, prince... let's just get you back to the ship. With your hands attached."
