The rebel nation in the Nebula of the Swamp, once old colonies of the Sapiens Federation, formed by the Dwarfs and the Humans, named and accused as so call 'pirate nation'; re-invented mass piracy . Mercenaries and freelances from all over the nation, join their forces and wide range skills. Based from their states and area they belong, they created clans and fight common enemies. Just like Greece during antiquity. The pirate Nation; Governed by few ex Admirals and one ex General part of the mutiny, organized what seems to be a chaotic and disorganized army and citizens. However, each citizens follows a basic military training and introduce strict civism rules during peace time.   If we can blame their army to be irregular between different group, we cannot establish any prevision when it come to firepower and war skills sets. More than anything, facing the pirate nation is a constant amount of bad surprise we never expect. Between the suicidal 'Riders of the Red Suns' breaking through any slight defenses weakness like war dogs with rabies or the 'Mining Syndicate' using non conventional weapons and war tactics; fighting this Pirate Nation is more like a urban civil war in large scale. One day you could face a weak militia and the next day as you expect your victory, massive wrecked ships are used as orbital projectile against your troops. Nothing is safe.

Chibi Commission: Nag Nag Nag

Another Patreon Chibi commission from one of my regular clients, featuring characters of @jassbefrold‘s ownership: Lise and Desiree (in that respected order).

It seems that their conflicting natures have hit a point where Lise has to go on a copypasta style rant at her sister. She might be a little too sloshed and comfy in her pillow throne to care though.

Haven’t seen these two in a long while, so I hope I did them some degree of justice in this style!

Quick sketch before bed time. You'll get the knife. It may sting... a bit. Even on turn around, I've never show that Jass has a bionic eye to replace the one he lost age ago. This upgrade is a constant pain and it get worse when he use it, it can explain his grumpyness. That's early pirate engineering for you.

Project done. Took me a full week with a lot of frustration but here we go! Unity3D, 3dsmax Photoshop and Quixel. 68k triangles only!

Top: Rather than bothering myself with a landscape with the Avorton I went into the concept art and upgraded it. Still WIP tho.
