here are my reasons:

ok so it was a debate between the two big ones: Snake and Unicorn. Unicorn was a choice because it's the cavendish family Origins blah blah blah and diana can do unicorn spells because shes a horse girl but I liked snake outside-lwa lore wise

So yea her family/aunt owns snakes and she nearly fuckin died by them, this isn't completely why I chose it.

So for one thing Diana's childhood wand has a lil snake on it (pardon the screenshot lmao) and it's like ok yea sure whatever

I had an epiphany while driving one day years ago and was so shook i nearly crashed but (and maybe this has been the most obvious thing to everyone but me) her family is a family of medics/doctors/healers!
