Okay, I'm back cause I just remembered something-

We were talking about corn making no sense, yes? Guess what doesn't make any sense either! POPCORN!!

So, if you take a corn grain, and heat it up, it pops and make popcorn! Beautiful, isn't it?

Now what happens when you take maíz and heat it up? It pops, and makes PALOMITAS. And if you take milho and heats it up, it POPS AND MAKES PIPOCA!!!

I give up, nothing makes sense in this world.

Hey! Do you ever think about how languages make no sense sometimes? Cause I was just thinking today about the word corn. I mean, it looks normal, right?

Well, we know all languages present in America (the continent) have their roots in Latin somewhat, right?

So, you see, in English, it's corn. In Spanish, it's maíz (?), and in Portuguese is MILHO!!! THEY DONT EVEN USE THE SAME LETTERS HOW IS THIS THE SAME THING?!?!

I also just reread dreamer of stars and something about it just makes me cry every time lmaoo and not for the story itself but just remembering writing it. I mentioned it way back when a few times but this old fuckin story was very very personal to me like spilled my whole heart out and laid it bare personal. And ugh rereading it just reminds me sad LOL in a bittersweet way?? It definitely can use a bit of cleanup/work in regards to grammar and a bit of pacing yada yada but damn I will never write anything like this again. Not in a I don’t want to way (because I definitely do) but in a I really peaked fr way. Doesn’t help that I always reread it when it’s super late and I’m being depressed hahahaha

It also makes me sad for Diana 💀💀💀💀 who did this to her 💀💀💀💀💀 my poor babyyy 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Did someone ask for Diakko headcanons? Allow me to put here my 2 cents on the matter:

I think this is kind of common trope in the fandom already, cause most of us see Diana as very much touch starved. BUT to me, there's more to it. Like, for most of her life, she's been living on that high pedestal people put her, and usually, people in her place don't get a lot of affection (in general, but even more when it comes to physical touch). And while it seems like she had it a lot with her mom, I believe that, since her passing, Diana haven't had that sort of gentle, despretentious, warm touch. To the point she grew up to be totally strangered from it. She freezes or tenses anytime someone touches her on purpose.

When she arrived at Luna Nova and started sharing a room with Hannah and Barbara, they were very touchy-y. Grabbing each other's hands, combing through each other's hairs, walking with arms intertwined and all that. And Diana would always goes stiff and awkward whenever they did the same to her. They noticed that soon, so they stopped doing that to her, and things got less awkward and more peaceful.

Diana got to live her life without having to worry about all the feelings she would get with physical touch from others. It was easy to navigate social interactions keeping her distance.

But then Akko arrived. And that girl couldn't keep her hands to herself even if they're tied up.

Contrary to her other friends, facing Diana's awkwardness to physical touch, she doesn't stop. She's just careful enough to try and not make it unbearable for the girl, but she's keeps doing it. Cause Akko's good in that, demonstrating her feelings with her body.

Diana is cold and distant, and Akko is stubborn and persistent. However, as their bonds grow stronger, that dynamic changes completely.

Akko gently knocks down that pedestal that held Diana so out of reach and shows her that others' embraces can feel like home too. Even after her mother's passing, there are still hands able to comfort her, and that physical touch maybe is a good love language.

Diana doesn't mind it anymore. Physical touch. She quite likes it, actually.

And everyone can notice it everytine they see the oh so perfect Diana, heir of the House of Cavendish, visibly melt any time Akko gingerly cups her cheeks, while looking in her eyes. Or how she beams everytime Akko take her hand while walking. Or how her face flushes red everytime she receives a kiss.

Guess one can say Akko's physical touch is Diana's live language.

Anyways, enough of rambling, it was supposed to be a headcannon and I already turned ir into an essay-
