(It’s all allegories and metaphors I know I know but I can only say it that many times until it takes away from the point I’m making. She is trans tho shut up.)

Okay so we all know Gwen Stacy/Spiderwoman is a trans allegory (is trans) right? Right.

I rewatched ATSV today, and I’ll watch it even more no doubt about that. But I’m here to talk about the part of the movie that made me gasp and go “ohh.”

So we already know it’s GWEN who’s trans NOT Peter cause that takes away from her whole allegory AND I don’t care how much of an ally you are - you’re not hanging the trans flag in your room. However, the person I actually wanna focus on here is Peter.

Peter isn’t really introduced to us as someone we should care about, we care about Gwen and her pain of losing Peter but Peter himself? He wasn’t built enough as a character for us to care. He’s shown having dinner with Gwen’s family throughout the years, someone who is implied Gwen isn’t really ever without. Then one day he dies. As he dies in Gwen’s arms he reveals he knew who she was and tells her everything will be okay. Gwen flees the scene upon the arrival of her dad who finds Peters dead body.

Gwen’s father is fixated on the death of Peter, absolutely convinced Spiderwoman killed him. Gwen herself tells her dad that she doesn’t think it was her, a conversation they’ve likely had many times over the years considering. Despite Gwen’s efforts her dad remains almost obsessed over arresting Spiderwoman specifically for Peters death. This sort of thirst for revenge would be better placed if it was his own personal connection who was seemingly murdered, but it wasn’t, it was his daughters best friend. His daughter whom holds no ill will against Spiderwoman and actively encourages her Dad to not try and arrest her. He becomes angry and is convinced he’s correct. This is a lot of anger and DEVOTION (as it’s been years since Peter’s death) to catching someone who only you is convinced killed your…daughter’s…best….friend?

It then culminates with her dad facing her, Spiderwoman, with a gun. In a desperate attempt to save herself she reveals her identity. Her dad is horrified and wavers, but doesn’t fully lower the gun. And then she says the line that made me gasp, “I didn’t kill Peter.”

Peter isn’t her friend in this allegory he’s her dead name, the person she used to present as. Her dad is fighting for the son he thinks he’s lost to a daughter that’s killed him. Peter was there with her throughout her life because it was in fact her that was with Peter, Gwen was always there, Spiderwoman was always there, Gwen just finally came out of hiding.

It’s never explained as to why Peter knew Gwen’s name as he died. What it is is him knowing Gwen is there as the truth, as Spiderwoman - Him AS Gwen, her letting him go as he dies. Leaving Peter, Gwen staying. Him saying “Gwen, it’s all gonna be okay.” Because he knew, he IS Gwen, she IS Spiderwoman, and it IS gonna be all okay.

So, I've watched x-men apocalypse (wow, I'm soo early to this party). It was nice, and look, there's my country (so of course I'm gonna have opinions). And well. I've been reading fanfics, and as i skim thru the tags i see Nina Gurzsky, and then again, and hm again, and who tf is Nin... Oh, NINA, as in Erik's daughter. Wait, Gurzsky?

What kind of surname is that? Because it's not Polish. (but we can fix that.)

I know in comics Magda is of Romani ancestry but i don't remember it being mentioned in the movie? So i guess she's polish-polish. And "Gurzsky" looks like she's 4th or 5th generation of emmigrants to america, has let everyone pronounce the name anyhow which led to diff spelling, and doesn't speak polish anymore.

(Really, who came up with that name, I'd like a word. What was your reasoning, your reasearch, the background you came up for Magda? Maybe it makes sense and is justified to be like that? Maybe I'm wrong, don't have all the info, misunderstood something? Then I'm really sorry.)

So i guess anglophones just skip this surname all together, but let's try to read it. It would be something like goo-zh-ski or goor-zz-ski. Both are bad and hard to pronounce. Why is the "z" there? Why complicate it unnecessarily? Let's drop it (some ppl would do it anyway, even if it being there was justified, it's called simplification and it happens when there's many hard consonats next to each other, or something, i'm half asleep). My brain did it intuitively upon reading this name. It shouldn't be there. There's no reason i could see. So it's Gursky now.

Ehh. How many times? "-ski" is traditional ending of a polish surname, and used to indicate nobility. "-sky" is traditional transliteration from cyrylic alphabet, it's for the russian surnames. (And the ending "-sky" came there from Poland.) (I'm very passionate about that, sorry not sorry. But don't get me started at another polish surname "-cki" bc americans always pronounce it wrong. That “c” is separate letter and not just “k”, and i don't think i can find corresponding sound in english language (so you might be forgiven) and i don't want to bombard you with IPA (never mind, next day me kinda wants, so, it’s like “ts”, or german “z”), especially that it's not main topic of that post. But really, you could put some effort. We know the language is very different from your own, with weird sounds, but please, try. We're gonna love you for that. For one word. Anything really. Well, you already know “kurwa”, so maybe one more. Sorry, i digress.) So, it's "-ski", but not really. This type of surname changes based on gender. "-ski" is masculine, and "-ska" is feminine. Yes, not always, there are women with “-ski” and men with “-ska”, but then it does not flex at all (same form for both genders). You just have to ask. But that's minority. So now it's Gurska.

And surnames don't have to follow general rules of orthography and flexion, they can have their own unique spelling and way of decletion, you need to ask the bearer of the name. But. They still usually do. So looking at that name? It begs to be the deriving from mountains: góry. So it should be Górska. Pronounced: goor-skah. Now it is a Polish name. A good one.

So. I'm gonna use this name for that little family. It's canon for me now. Magda Górska and Nina Górska, and Erik was going under Henryk Górski. (Kinda cute if you ask me.)

Relationship Status: very single, but pretty happy about it these days. Even a year ago that would've felt impossible. Feels good to get here. 💚😊💚

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: I used to think savory, but I'm starting to notice that it's really about balance for me. Like I have to even them out? I do think, because I find things too sweet quite often, I probably do prefer the other two.

Favourite color: Green! All shades, though I definitely prefer any shade that feels alive. Doesn't seem to be dependent on tone, just a feeling. My room is mostly shades of green, at this point.

Last Movie: oh geez, this really made me reevaluate my show:film ratio. Tbf most of my watching these days has been shows I haven't seen (Ripley, IWTV), or rewatching things so my little brother will watch them for the first time (we're finally on the newest part of JoJo, for example). So, in terms of new watches: The Invitation, and Extremely Wicked and Shockingly Vile. For rewatch: I believe the last ones were 300 (lol. Lmao. Even a rofl.) and Mad Max: Fury Road (shocker: my teen brother loved it). I have....so many things to watch. Help.

Last Show: ...well. Ripley, for completed seasons (great show, phenomenal). I'm a few episodes into a couple shows (I think most recently Vikings is the only one I'm entirely new to). Catching up on Bridgerton with my sister, JoJo with little brother, and then, again, so so many other shows. Interview With The Vampire may be my favourite show in some time; probably should rewatch Housr of the Dragon ahead of season two. I do think I'm gonna drop Woman of the Dead, even tho I just started it. As someone studying the field, discrepancies are...pretty distracting. Her job feels almost superfluous to her goals and journey, which is weird given the premise.

Last Thing I Googled: class specializations in Dragon Age; the four humours; mortality stats for my county; if Jaejoong was releasing a full new album. (Thought the spread was funny)

Current Obsession: the pile of books I'm working through (mostly to study, fiction's been putting me off for the last month or so, in books); Dragon Age (how did I get here again...what year is it...); tattoo ideas; my fitness goals. MUSIC. Always recommend me music. All my little OCs and story ideas. 💚

Thoughts and opinions on The Little Mermaid (2023) with SPOILERS.

First of all, i'm so happy to be able to watch it. I've been waiting for it since 2019. And the casting announcement was the reason i became a fan of Chloe x Halle

The casting is perfect! I'm really a sucker for a good casting so....

Halle Bailey is everything Ariel. TBH, it feels like she's not acting that hard coz her expressions and voice are naturally Ariel. She's born to be a Disney princess. I could not imagine another person playing this role. From her face, features, physique, height and voice. She's a whole package.

Jonah Hauer-King is indeed charming. When his casting got announced, i never doubted him coz from his looks, he also has this Disney and Princely face. And i even like his version of Prince Eric better than the animated one.

Melissa McCarthy is great. She is actually terrifying lol but my complaint is that her make-up is lacking and then i found out that a straight person made it. I don't see the Drag in her face. It should have been better. Way better. They should have hired a queer make-up artist or someone in the Drag scene.

I know we all hate Awkwafina, but she actually has this annoying bird voice that is right for the role.

It's my first time to see Jessica Alexander act and whew! I think i might have a new crush. And she's bisexual??? I stan!

I don't have that much say for the other casts, but they are all great and visually amazing.

I expected a lot of changes, but i think it's good that they only changed the things that are necessary. It felt more genuine.

It's not that dark! It was just the right level of darkness for the scenes that are meant to be dark. The day scenes are actually colorful.

I saw a take about the sea creatures not being animated and expressive enough, but i think it's more of the CGI limitations, not the movie itself.

Having said that, Flounder could've been better. Still cute tho.

Halle and Jonah's chemistry is amazing. I'm a hetero-hater, but i was gushing in the theatre. Ariel and Eric are the best Disney live-action couple 💯 And Jalle's friendship offscreen is cute and wholesome.

I'm also a big musical fan so this live-action is special to me because they actually casted a singer and not just a basic one. What i hated about other Disney live-actions is the autotune. It's so annoying.

One of the minor issues i have is that i wished they didn't release too many stills and clips. I was kinda pissed on the "Under the sea" part coz i already saw the majority of it on social media. I wanted to be surprised because that scene was so fun and magical.

They should definitely have a sequel, a prequel, and a mermaid sisters spin-off. It would be a waste to only see them once especially Halle and Jonah's chemistry. The sisters are also too beautiful not to have their own stories coz from how they look, they have really different identities.

People complain too much on animal designs, but ignore the mermaid tails of Ariel and her sisters.

I'm also proud of Halle's acting coz i watched her on Grown.ish and her acting skills and confidence really improved by miles. Even when she lost her voice, she was very expressive. She didn't even have to try that much.

For me, this is the 2nd best Disney live-action so far. My first is still Maleficent.

Idk if I still need to say this, but the soundtrack is on-repeat after I watched. I actually want to rewatch the whole thing with subs coz i can't understand the British accent. lol

Halle Bailey needs to be in more musicals. I just can't get enough. Jessica Alexander should also be in more villain roles. Sapphic villain specifically 🥵

I also liked how Ariel and Prince Eric were longing for each other's world you know. It's a story about freedom really, not wanting to be boxed, and wanting to explore no matter how dangerous it is. It's such a queer allegory. And it's special knowing the original version of Hans Christian Andersen.

*MUFFLES SCREAMS* I wrote the entire reply and it got swallowed by Tumblr. This is the 5th time I've made this mistake because I am a FOOLE (though more likely it's because tumblr's editor sucks). Anyway, here we go again.

Formally, the film's genre is historical. And its working title is #ThaiPeriodMovie while they tease us about the movie title.

However, several things stood out to me in the way this film has been discussed (potential spoilers, but mostly fan theory!)

Here's Apo speaking about how the film came about at Kis x Farger and how Pond contextualized Mile's role in the film. Please note the conjecture is one of the translator's theories, not what was explicitly said. But the part about Mile was what was said 🤗

Pond then came up with the idea that it would be so gorgeous if Apo could perform a Thai dance. Pond also said that Mile has a personality that goes well with Apo* so together they should make a movie that celebrates Thai culture.

Also, this LGBTQ Thai youtuber was able to identify cultural details in just the short trailer. He starts talking about some of the important details around 6:27 (which I am not retyping again)

Basically, he was able to identify that Apo was performing a Lakhon Nai, which is performed in the royal court and traditionally only had female dancers even for male roles.

However, he noted that because Apo was a male dancer in the royal court, the movie likely takes place in the period of King Rama IV-V, which was most likely validated by BOC's production staff recently!

He also theorized that Apo and Bas were were performing Inao (Punji), which is a Lakhon Nai epic that had queer elements. I can't find a good English source about this epic, so watch the video to learn what he has to say about the story.

He mentioned the possibility that in the movie, there might the duality with a reflection of Apo's character having a stage life in an epic with a queer story while the character's real life is embroiled in a love affair with the handsome Taphon player 😝

Actually, I was rewatching the Leslie Cheung and Hong Kong LGBT Cinema video essay a couple of weeks back and this part really stood out to me as what they might be trying to do with this film.

The film cleverly ties homosexuality to traditional Chinese art, making an, at the time, unfamiliar topic much more approachable to a Chinese audience, allowing the audience to feel the loss, pain, and persecution LGBT people had been feeling.

But its contribution to inclusivity is, perhaps, even more direct than that. The casting of Leslie Cheung in the role creates this feeling that we aren't looking at a fictional character, we are facing the real struggle of Leslie Cheung. Leslie was sympathetic, so his characters, and by extention LGBT people, were sympathetic.

Anyway, this is all speculation! I want to point out again that historical LGBTQ films don't need to have a romantic plot, AND even if a romance between characters occur it's often interwoven with the characters' other struggles and drama/tragedy of the period. Don't expect KPTS episode 8 😭

I'm less bothered by whether or not Mile and Apo's characters will be queer than the fact that so many people are openly dismissing that they can't be queer in the film because it's a historical film (what). As @cookiedoughfiesta mentioned to me, some idiots have said that they can't be gay because it's a historical film and gay people didn't exist then (THE IRONY OF SUFFERING HOMOPHOBES EVERY DAY IN THIS FANDOM 💀💀💀)

OR i plan on doing a multi-chapter shorter story that is an AU that also takes place in a high school setting but with a twist that i dont want to reveal bc that would mean i would have to commit to it. lol

Currently Reading: nothing. unless you count all these articles/research papers I've been reading for my health research studies course (think i aced the exam yesterday so maybe all the pain was worth it)

Last Thing Researched for Art/Writing/Hyperfixation: doesnt really count as research but basically i was on pinterest creating boards for 3 different fics. was researching wedding dresses for a nat & syd fic where they go wedding dress shopping (will be finishing after my last exam). also just creating two other boards to inspire myself to start the au i teased above and my bones and all AU/retelling i talked about last month. i want to watch some more cannibalism media and maybe research about 80s pop culture and politics before i dive into that one fully.

I personally love everything that comes from your beautiful mind (or at least everything you choose to share with us) so I wouldn't be too worried about the second part if I were you, even though I'm sure it is very nerve wracking to put out into the world something you've worked hard on.

Also please don't hesitate to say that you're doing okay 🥺 Life is full of good and bad moments both and the bad ones will inevitably come too, regardless of whether we acknowledge the good ones. So in my view, we should enjoy the good or okay times as much as we can while they're happening. Although I completely understand the hesitance when the bad times have been happening particularly often 😔

I've also been doing okay, haven't felt like doing much in particular. I've stayed at home quite a bit because I had the house to myself which is a rarity for me and I really enjoy my uninterrupted alone time (like the typical virgo that I am 🙄🙄🙄). I have a smol break coming up at the end of this upcoming week in which I have to get a few things done for uni! And then perhaps a little trip abroad at the end of the month? (literally just for two days, but still exciting!)

Oh and also I watched Your Name the other day as per your recommendation a bit ago and it was great! Very cute but also pretty emotional, I've gotta say! EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE SWEEP!!!!

runner ups r smile and uhh. i really don't know what else i watched that came out this year. do i have to say don't worry darling. i watched that with my mom and neither of us liked it that much but i did think it was more interesting than where the crawdad sings buuut crawdad had a good twist so idek..... i liked smile tho it was goofy and dumb and really great to watch in a theater with my friend. anyways eeaao has a fun acronym and is soo os oso good i don't think i even need to say that because well it's an objective fact but something i really appreciated upon a rewatch was how well it sticks to being bizarre but also coherent. like there's so much happening at any given moment but the movie gives it to u in a way that you can process, and while a lot of this is through having a protagonist like evelyn, it's also just really really good storytelling! and the flow is sooo good that movie is 2hrs and 19mins but does nott feel like it. luv it. everyone go watch it again please

i put this category here then realized i didn't really watch any shows that came out this year then realized CHAINSAW MAN!!!! one of my fav stories my fav manga probably i would need to think about it but i do love chainsaw man . sizzling hot take tho the anime is losing me. that's why the top spot goes to SEVERANCE!!!! even though i'm not done with it yet anyways let me have my safe space to air grievances about the csm anime. I THINK IT IS TOO PRETTY. maybe idk. there's just something off to me about the anime adaption as a whole idk what it is but i thiiiink it might be the style? the animation is so incredibly gorgeous and a masterclass in everything ever so i want to make it clear that i do not have a problem with the quality of the animation or art but i think its a little too. clean? idk! the csmiverse feels a little too gritty for the tone the anime has set. but we are getting into darker parts of the story now so maybe i will be proven right! that or yoshida will be introduced and they'll make him so pretty i won't even care anymore. anyways the other runner up is smiling friends i watched that show in its entirety at like 1am with my dad and we both liked it

starting this list there was only one album i knew for sure would make it in but then i checked and wow some music has been released this year.... top spot is going to shock everyone my aoty is HELLFIRE BY BLACK MIDI! reason: it's really good . thank u for coming. for real though i had never listened to a black midi song in my life until hellfire was the album of the week in the little music club my irls and i have and i listened to it and my third eye opened fireworks went off behind me a lightbulb lit up over my head etc etc i thought i had a broad taste in music but apparently not because HELLO? there's a lot of sounds here! and they're all really good! one of those things i think people should listen to at least once in their lives so they can either fall in love or get a shirt that says 'I LISTENED TO A BLACK MIDI ALBUM AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS DUMB T-SHIRT AND GOOD SOUNDS IN MY EARS.' extremely close second place is bleed out my the mountain goats the goats are the goats of concept albums like hello. and third goes to brightside bc i've been a slut for the lumineers since day one baby. i saw them tour this album actually and they shot confetti during birthday and even though i was all the way in the back i still got a piece and keep it in my phone case

i played three games that came out this year. did you know that. you do now because i have to expose myself for this top 3 list anyways i love POKEMON LEGENDS ARCEUS! i got it around release whenever that was. january i think. and it's such a cozy game. def in the top 5 mainline pkmn titles. i looove the open world aspect even if it's a little boring i don't care because i'll see a bidoof and go WOAHHH IT'S BIDOOF!!! crazy stuff i wish i could just go outside and see a thing in my front yard. the bugs scared me away from scarvi but my friend showed me the little tea party things. and i nearly caved. but then i picked up legends arceus and had such a good time that it saved me $60 so THANK YOU!! runner ups are rf5 which runs like hell on the switch pls buy rf4 instead and twewy. which i bought 12 hours ago because it's on sale right now

last night was a biggie, rewatch-wise! i got through tkk movies part 2 & 3 and the first three episodes of ck. assorted mixed-up thoughts underneath the cut w/ varying degrees of coherency

psa: the below thoughts contain occasional subjective opinions from my dumb brain and those opinions should be given the respect they deserve (which is none) 

tkk2: -honestly a solid sequel and i didn’t have a lot of thoughts on this one, because fr i was mainly chinhands-ing at everything kumiko did, and trying to work out the physics of chozen’s boobs. but look, here’s a couple i remember: -daniel really declared his love for miyagi at the airport gate like it was a proper romcom, he said that man’s my dad now and i’m his son sorry college bet

-ok no but really, they love/d each other so much and it makes me unhinged!!! that scene with them on the beach made me cry and cry

-was that bd wong?? -very nice of sato to say to miyagi ‘i will give you three days to mourn before i kill you, out of respect to the man whose still-warm corpse we are currently kneeling alongside’. ok thanks man -arrrrrrms -i got a little distracted at one point thinking about what johnny was doing during the events of the movie and if his neck still twinged sometimes and then i got even more distracted thinking about how i read somewhere once that one of the options floated for the third movie was bringing back johnny and then i got really, really distracted thinking about how good that coulda been, but then decided that i didn’t want it because if that had happened there might not have been a cobra kai, a terrible show that i am in love with speaking of the third movie……………

tkk3: -wheeeeeeeeeew boy. i have not rewatched this one since i was a child and i gotta say, i’m with ralph on this

-kudos to TIG tho for chewing the absolute life out of the scenery and providing some comedic respite from the racial slurs and whatever else was going on with this movie.

-(the randee cameo was nice too) -something that did strike me – the daniel in this one really felt a lot like ck daniel. i mean, they all do at various times (ck okinawa daniel feels like tkk okinawa daniel and etc), but there was something timely about the daniel in this one that really felt like oh. you know? the self-recrimination, the scattershot anger, the rambling and flailing and loss of control. i think because i hadn’t seen it again since looooong before watching ck, it really gave his actions in s4 a little more clarity for me. of course he’s clinging to miyagi do, of course he is. of course the random outbursts of anger are coming back. of course he’s terrified of terry winning and wanting to stop him at all costs. of course he’s going to spiral of course. it wasn’t like i *didn’t* get it before but it made it hit a little harder you know? and i am very scared about s5 and i need to protect this pretend man

aaaaaand we are onto ck!! already!! so much for moderation! (sidenote: daniel-enjoyers, i highly recommend going straight from watching tkk movies to watching ck. it is a Trip to see how very little his mannerisms have changed over the years. he really is that bouncy little guy!!! he just got old. which i mean, that’s exactly the case, it is the same guy playing the same guy, and of course he is still him, but it is still delightful to observe somehow. it made my heart do things)

anyway, thoughts on ck s101 -jlawz looks good with a beard but it probably smells so bad  :( -also i always forget his first audible sentence is “great, more immigrants” and i think it’s because i repress it on purpose. -in the same vein. if i ever have to hear anyone talk about laura lawrence’s vag again i will walk into the sea -baby brace-face miguel is a sweet little angel. i know he and johnny are like miyagi and daniel redux but it’s cute how they’re kinda the mirror of them, rather than the copy. miyagi saves daniel, miguel saves johnny. johnny and daniel remain ridiculous no matter what; the true constant of the saga -not to say that driving away from a scene of an accident is a good thing to do but i would also drive away from drunk jlawz while he was having his little flashbacks breakdown too so.....??

-god the kids are all such wee babies in s1. mute lil eli! teeny nihilist demetri! adorable babby aisha with the science puns we hardly knew ye! (the show only cutting her, out of all the kids, gives sus vibes, but gonna save that rant for another time)

-both funny and deeply sad that while johnny spent all these years building daniel up in his head as the root of all the bad things that ever happened to him, daniel just assumed they were on really great terms (“friends and family discount” please i’m sick). he rly took ‘you’re alright larusso’ to heart while you know, johnny walked away and got almost killed and it felt like daniel’s win and by extension daniel took everything from him. i mean, that’s not even subtext right? it’s not that i don’t get it. but i do feel a little hurt on daniel’s behalf because he’s being so immediately, instinctively kind to him. maybe there’s a hint of smugness about the win and unintentional condescension in the mix but he really does spend the majority of the whole several minute interaction giving johnny free stuff and telling him how pretty he still is and just visibly beaming at him and i’m [sticks entire fist in mouth and screams] - jlawz deciding in that moment to start his own karate dojo is such a move. whatcha tryna do babe? tryna get back to the good old days where you kept putting your hands on that lil guy?? and you had each other’s angry undivided attention???? okay then!!

ck s102 -guys the little daniel montage at the start pls. i am unironically obsessed with daniel fistbumping his employees and making brekkie for his kids and drinking lil espressos with his wife. lookit him living his best life, i bet he smells amazing -well anyway those last moments of happiness and a normal blood pressure level for him were nice i think -i’m glad after s1 things got a bit less edgelord-y. i don’t know how to explain what i mean by that but ig the constant /don’t be a pussy/ and jokes about allergies and fat people and kids these days like it was kinda tiresome?? a bit?? to me?? ymmv but i’m glad they eased up on that shit. or at least made it more about johnny’s ignorance, so it wasn’t quite so… punchy-downy? ya know what i mean? if not, understandable.  -how many bathing suits does daniel have anyway? -the casting choices are very good all round but i personally think robby/tanner in partic is genius, because he gives such strong generic ‘80s teen heartthrob vibes. like when i first watched the show all i could see when i looked at him was jonathon brandis. accidental nostalgia boy, amazing -oh god the dinner with kyler. delete delete delete. if I don’t acknowledge it it didn’t happen!! -”i’m right here man”. i have never seen two angry grown men wanna kiss each other so bad in my life

first of all, where/how have you been tracking what you've watched? *eyes emoji* second, #1, #8, #9, and #20!

First of all, lmaooo it’s def not the most efficient way, but I literally just have a Google Doc where I tracked the movies and TV shows (by episode/date) I watched, with a separate list for stuff I rewatched. I used to have some website I used, but it was mostly to just tell me when shows were airing rather than to track them.

1. How many new TV shows did you start/watch this year?

Oh jeez lol. It looks like 95 (!), although some of those are miniseries rather than on-going shows, so I’m not sure they count.

8. A ship that finally got (back) together this year

Michael and Alex on Roswell: New Mexico!! I think that’s the only ongoing show I’ve been watching where a ship I love got together, rather than me binging and it happening that way.

Oooooh though actually it looks like Eve and Maze got together this year as well so them too!!!!! They got together and then got married!!!

9. A ship you’d like to finally see get together next year.

I said this already, but I’m hoping Dick and Kory get together next season of Titans! Also,,, hoping against hope that Shadow and Bone changes the book ending and has Darklina get together lol. It doesn’t have to be endgame but they’re so much more interesting than Mal/Alina, especially based on what I’ve heard about the books.

20. A TV show you’ve stopped watching this year.

Ha I guess I should have saved my answer about The Resident from the last post for this question! Although rather than me stop watching, it’s more like I read about those actresses leaving and decided not to catch up.

Otherwise, I’ll say Word of Honor. We actually got pretty far! Episode 18 looks like, and I do like the main characters’ relationship but everything else about it is…so boring, especially given that you have to pay complete attention and read the subtitles.

Also, Medici, an absolutely bonkers show with Richard Madden.

So, the accents are ALL over the place, Richard Madden has a vaguely (aka BAD) British-y accent, it filmed in Italy, so a lot of the actors are Italian, and then there’s Dustin Hoffman is playing his dad who has some sort of New York-y Italian accent even tho it’s set in 1409 in Florence?? Richard Madden is also playing both 20 and 40 & the only changes they made to make him look different is that he had long hair in the flashbacks and eyeliner and a little gray streak in the present. The actor playing his son in the present is only one year younger than him.

Meanwhile his character is apparently not supposed to be gay but in the first episode there’s a 10 minute scene of him meeting Donatello and flirting and straight up ogling drawings of literally naked men and 10 minutes after that they’re like no he really wants to (and does) bang one of Donatello’s female models. And he gets married eventually but literally 100% hates his wife. At one point she gets him exiled rather than killed & he’s like “I will never forgive you” and he DOESN’T.

All that to say, it was an extremely entertaining watch, we finished the whole first season in a couple of days and it was amazing to heckle, but in season 2 it jumps ahead like 20 years and is now starring Isaac from Teen Wolf as his character’s grandson and we were like meh and stopped there. 😂

Chapter 7: I will not ask you where you came from, I will not ask you, neither should you 

“You’ve gotta hold it like a pencil.” You laugh, trying to explain chopsticks to Spencer as you sit at your kitchen table eating the Thai food you mentioned beforehand. Spencer just seemed to grip the chopstick tighter, you laugh.“Spencer, you write all the time. Is that how you hold a pencil? Here.” You say, placing your hand over his, maneuvering his hand to hold the chopsticks properly. He looks up at you and smiles before leaning in to kiss you again. You don’t think you could ever grow tired of that. “What was that for?”

“Nothing.” He shrugs. “It’s just nice to kiss you whenever I think about it now.” You watch him struggle again before taking pity on him and handing him a fork. He looks at you with gratitude. 

“When?” You ask. “Did you think about it,  I mean.”

He blows a breath, thinking. “Every time? Or the first time?” 

Knowing Spencer probably could name every single time he’s thought about kissing you, you laugh. “Let’s start with the first time.” 

“The first case we worked together. The bus driver.” He says. “You looked so excited when you figured it out, you were practically flailing your arms. I wanted to kiss you so bad, but of course I had just met you days prior, so it wouldn’t have been appropriate.” He laughs. “What about you?”

“The first time I wanted to kiss you?” You ask, he nods. “Probably the Milwaukee case last winter. When you talked down that gunman with no weapon, no vest. I also wanted to punch the lights out of you.” You both laugh. “But you really had me worried and guess when I saw you were safe it was all I could think about doing.” 

“Why didn’t you?” 

“Well, why didn’t you?” You shoot back. 

“I told you, I didn’t know you then.” 

“Well, I also didn’t know you well back then.” You sigh. “Plus, I always thought you were extremely out of my league, you still are.” 

Spencer snorts, you slap his arm. “I’m being serious, you were extremely smart and attractive and I’m not so I never thought anything would come of this.” You shrug. Spencer grips your hand tightly. 

“Hey, look at me.” He says, you meet his eyes and you’re suddenly hit with a look that could only be described as complete admiration. “You are the single most beautiful, talented and intelligent girl I know. If anyone’s out of anyone’s league, it’s the other way around, trust me.” 

You hum, thinking. “Yea, I don’t think so.” 

“I’ll have to prove it to you then.” He says, smiling, looking at you like you personally put every star in the sky.   

“I’ll hold you to that.”

Spencer spends everyday for the next 4 months proving you wrong. 

Your second “official” date was at the planetarium after you told Spencer offhandedly one day that you didn’t know much about stars other than your astrological sign. He then surprises you early one Saturday morning rushing you to get dressed so you don’t have to deal with the crowds. You end up in an empty theater as he whispers his own facts to you about the constellations completely ignoring the tour guide. 

He takes you on several dates like that. To museums, art galleries, the two of you even watch that 5 hour movie he loves so much though you end up falling asleep hour 2, you couldn’t help it. 

You decide to keep it secret from the team for the first couple of months, just to see it was something you both still wanted. Since the two of you spent so much time together before you were dating, it was like nothing’s changed. Garcia still ends up finding out around month three, during your monthly Doctor Who rewatches. You had sent Spencer to the kitchen to get a bottle of wine when he calls out to you. 

“Babe, where’s your corkscrew?” 

Without thinking, you automatically answer back “In the drawer below the coffee maker.” You go to start the next episode when you look up to see Garcia staring at you like you grew a second skull. 

“What’s wrong?” You ask, genuinely confused. 

“Babe???” She says, incredulously. Spencer is out of the kitchen, watching the two of you in the doorway. “Babe?!?” She asked again, Spencer realized his mistake, looking at you awkwardly, a clear I fucked up, you have to fix it face. You sigh, putting your forehead in your hand. Despite him technically being a genius, you were dating an idiot. 

“Garcia—“ you start.  

“How long?” She says, stumbling slightly. 

“How long what?” You ask, hoping playing dumb will get you out of it. It doesn’t as she just levels you with a stern look. Or as stern as Penelope Garcia can get. “3  months.” You sigh. 

“3 Months?!” Suddenly Garcia is pulling you into a hug, waving her arm frantically behind your back for Spencer to join you, which of course he does. “Oh my sweet sweet summer children, Why didn’t you tell me?!”She pulls from you, hitting you both in the arm instantly. 

You rub your arm. “We just wanted to keep it under wraps for a while, to see if it was something we both wanted.” 

“And is it?” She asks. 

You look at Spencer only to see him looking directly back into your eyes, smiling. “Yea it is.” You say. “Garcia, I know you don’t like keeping secrets but can you not tell anyone. We wanted to wait to tell everyone.” 

Garcia blows a breath. “For you, my dove, I will try. Now I was promised wine and Doctor Who and I still haven't gotten either.” 

With that you fill her glass and the three of you spend the night watching Doctor Who and eating pizza. At some point of the night, Spencer’s arm ends up around you. You scout closer to him so you can lay your head on his chest. Suddenly, you see a camera flash. 

“Garcia!” You yell. 

“Relax, I won’t show anyone. This’ll be for me, you guys are just so cute!”   

You roll your eyes, laying back on Spencer. You can’t help but smile at the feel of his light chuckle.

Sex doesn’t come up despite your best wishes. You can tell Spencer’s holding back, trying to respect you and you appreciated that, you really do. 

But God, you want him. 

There’s been times where you think you’re going to get there. Like last month, he had come over to watch a movie which ended up just being an excuse to just make out. You didn’t think you could ever get tired of kissing Spencer. Most of the time, his kisses were sweet, filled with admiration. But sometimes they were heated with passion and want behind them. You liked both, loved both even, but if you had to pick a favorite it’d be the lather. You’ve never felt as desired as you do when you’re with Spencer. 

His tongue swiped along your bottom lip, you opened your mouth giving him permission. You’re rewarded with a small moan as he tries to move as close to you as your small couch will allow. You’re suddenly hit with a bright idea and push him back so you could crawl on top of him, straddling his waist. You pull back slightly to look at him, making sure this was ok. He looks at you shocked for a moment, you guys have never done anything this far. That shock breaks though the second you lean back into him, his hands going instantly to your waist. You move in closer, running your hands through his hair as his tongue rejoins your mouth. You moan, tugging slightly at the roots earning you a groan, his hands sliding under your shirt gripping your waist tighter. As lean forward to kiss along his jaw you can’t help but become hyper aware of a certain predicament he was having. Deciding to test the waters, you start grinding your hips on him slightly. 

“Fuck.” he moans quietly, his grip on your bare waist suddenly becoming tighter. Spencer hardly ever cursed, not even when he was mad. Very much unlike you who cursed like a sailor at any minor inconvenience. So hearing the expletive, especially in a situation like this, was enough to turn you into a faucet. The two of you went on like this a bit, your hands on his jaw, not even being shy about your grinding now. You needed him to know just how bad you wanted this, how bad you wanted him. Eventually, his hands slide out your shirt settling on your lower waist to stop you. You pull back to look at him confused. 

“We’ve got to stop.” He says, sitting you up a little bit so you weren’t completely seated completely on top of him. 

“Why?” You all but whine. You didn’t mean to sound like a child but you were genuinely curious. He chuckles lightly at you before kissing your cheek and moving you so you were seated next to him, still cuddled under his arm. His attention turned fully back towards the movie, neither of you had been paying attention to prior.

And if working with him was hard before, it’s proven itself to be unbearable these past months. Now that you knew what it was like to be with Spencer, thoughts about it seemed to cloud your brain on a daily basis. And it seemed like he was mocking you with it lately. With the rolled up sleeves of his button up and the skinny ties it seemed like he was intentionally trying to break you. 

Right now, you were in a small town off the coast of Oregan, listening to Reid explain the geographical profile he’d come up with for the Unsub. You try to listen, you really do but your focus keeps going to his forearms and hands. You knew you like his hands before but now that you knew what they felt like it was hard to focus on anything else. That combined with the rapid words coming out of his mouth and the hair he’d recently been growing out (something you didn’t know you were into but could definitely now confirm you were) were sending you spiraling. 

“Y/N.” You suddenly heard Hotch call. You looked around to see everyone looking at you, expecting an answer to a question you did not hear. 

You clear your throat awkwardly. “What was your question again?” 

“I asked why you think the Unsub is a flight risk.” JJ says. “Are you ok? You seem off.” 

Everyone’s eyes is on you again, this time Spencer included. He’s narrowing his eyes at you now. You can tell he’s reading you like a book, trying to hide the smirk on his face. He knows. You think to yourself. 

“I’m fine.” You clear your throat. “Based one the geographical profile, I think the Unsub is from this town and is very familiar with the water. Possibly from a fishing family, which is why I think he has a boat and will try to make a run for it tonight. Especially since the news announced we’re here.” You point out. “I actually don’t believe we have much time.” 

“Alright, Reid, Prentiss and Rossi check his house. Y/L/N, Morgan and I will head down to the Marina. Dismissed.” 

You go to grab everything you need before leaving (vest, gun, etc.) when Spencer approaches you. 

“And you thought I wouldn’t be able to focus on work when we got together?” He says, smirking. 

“Shut up.” You mumble. Before you can turn away from him, he grabs your wrist pulling you into a tight, passionate kiss. 

“Please be careful.” He says looking into your eye. 

“I always am, Spen.” You smile.

You, Hotch and Morgan Are silent driving to the Marina but that wasn’t unusual that was how it usually is with you three, especially with stakes like this. Hotch assigns the both of you quadrants to search and you split apart. You’re walking your quadrant when you hear a snapping sound. You turn and see the unsub untying a boat. 

“FBI! Don’t move.” You scream after him. He sees you turns to his boat that’s started to drift further and further away in the high tide before he starts booking it down the dock. You run after to him. 

“Unsub is on the southeastern dock! Requesting Backup.” You scream in your radio before focusing your full attention on running full speed after the man you’d been searching for for days. He’s looking behind himself every so often to see you gaining on him but you’re still not fast enough to get him before you jumps off the end of the dock, swimming fast towards his boat. 

“Shit!” You yell. You hear hotch and Morgan’s steps running behind you before you make the split decision. 

You throw off your vest, radio and gun on the dock next to you before careening off the dock into the icy cold oregonian waters.

Random JATP Headcannon: Reggie Pep-Talking Julie

 Disclaimer: Hey y’all there’s a lotta negative self-talk and body image stuff in this long and chonky puppy (like a dachshund). Am I just simply projecting in this headcannon? Si señores, señoras, y señoritas ...umm chile anyway so... on to the angst and fluff.

Julie is a bad bitch.

And we love that for her. But every bad bitch has a few weaknesses. Like popping balloons or falling for a ghost who died in 1995 or being afraid that you are going to lose everyone you’ve ever cared about. But there are days when Julie’s biggest weakness is her body. Then again Julie loves her body, she loves how her hair curls and how it frames her, and even though it can be a pain in the ass, she loves it. She also loves her smile and the gap between her teeth and how musical her laugh is. She loves how she can pull off a blazer and a dress and how her eyes sparkle in the sun. She loves how clear her skin is and her brows and her height and everything but some days she doesn't. But some days she looks in the mirror and cringes at what she sees.

Ha, it's funny to think that I can pull this off.

I'm too much of this and not enough that.

I don't really love how I look in this.

Maybe I should just change

These thoughts often seem to be swirling around in Julie's brain. But sadly those aren't the worse thoughts she has that award goes to thoughts like:

Julie sighs flattening her crop top grabbing her sides before quickly opting to change into a longer looser shirt. She grabbed her phone from her nightstand shooting a text to Flynn.

Julie grabs an old Orphuem hoodie that belonged to her mom, slipping it on noticing how she still hasn’t quite grown into it. Walking past her mirror one more time Julie scrunches her nose not appreciating how her tight jeans look on her. In fact, she doesn’t like how her nose looks today. 

Fuck I hate when I feel like this. Maybe Flynn is right. I should probably talk to Alex and at least try to avoid Luke. He doesn’t need to see me like this.

Sighing, she makes her way over to the garage. She opens the door only to see Reggie intensely focused on playing the riff he was working on for their new song.

“Is Luke around? I need to snatch up Alex, but I don’t want him to see me and worry,” she asked, starting to giggle when he snapped out of his trace as a small yelp left his lip.

Reggie spotted Julie’s Orpheum hoodie not noticing how much his eyes widened.

Julie cocks her head at the gaping Reginald before realizing he was staring at her hoodie. “It was my mom’s,” Julie whispered as Reggie nodded along, “she used to work there in college. Mom and her best friend, my Tia Maria were waitresses there. But I’m getting distracted, is Alex here? I just really need to talk to him and his dumb emotional availability.” 

“Well, it’s Alex and Willie’s 6-month anniversary, so I hope he’s not around here. But he’s like at the beach with Willie being all mushy.”

“Oh wow, they’re so cute together! He’s definitely seemed so happy since he met him,” Julie said, truly proud of her drummer but not completely masking her disappointment of not having anyone to talk to.

“Yeah, he's more free now. Plus it gives me and Luke the opportunity to rag on him on how easily he flushes when Willie teases him. But you don’t need to worry about lover boy or your lover boy,” he says while waggling his eyebrows at her. 

Julie sadly laughs trying to hide her face from the boy. As Reggie seemingly oblivious continued “Luke is at his parents. He’s been going more often trying to find sneaky ways to leave his song. Some unpublished songs Julie. He has never done anything like that since you went to his parent’s house with him. The closure is cathartic for him,” he whispered, putting down his bass. “He loves seeing his mom’s face light up when she finds another song. But you seem down Julie, what’s wrong?”

“Oh it’s nothing Reggie don’t worry about it,” Reggie cocks an eyebrow at her with a concerned look on his face. Julie looked away sighing, putting on her hood before continuing on, “I’m just a little under the weather and just needed someone to talk to, but it’s fine. I’ll be fine. I will be fine in a few hours. But don’t worry, and please don’t tell Luke.”

“Well Julie you can talk to me,” Reggie pauses puts down his bass putting his hands behind his head, legs cross, frowning slightly, “Believe it or not I can be a little insightful but seriously Julie you’re like my little sister and I hate to see you like this.”

Reggie taps on the spot on the couch next to him motioning for Julie to sit down.

“I’m not going to force you to tell me anything but if you need someone to talk I here when you are ready,” And with that, Reggie picked up his bass and started to work on what seems like a new song.

Together they sit in this calming silence as Reggie starts to pluck away at this melody taking notes of what chord progressions work and what doesn’t while Julie quietly points at chords. This goes on for about five minutes until Julie finally says something.

“Fine okay you need to promise me that you won’t tell Luke because he’ll try and fix this, and he’ll probably make me feel worse,” Reggie quickly nods before putting his fist out giving her a promise fist bump. Julie wetly laughs at this before taking her hood off, running her hands through her hair.

“You know for years I’ve waked up and then immediately looked in the mirror and some days I loved what I see those days are good. I love how I look and how I feel, and I’m just happy. But some days I don’t... some days I look in the mirror and I just see every single flaw I have, and I just want to hide in my bed and not let anyone see me. Some days I feel like I don’t deserve you or Luke or Alex or Flynn or even my family. I just look into the mirror, and I’m like why would anyone stand to look at me. And you know today is one of those days. When Mami was alive she would call a day like today a BBD. It was a code for bad body day or day when we would just wear matching hoodies, cuddle, and binged movies without telling Dad what was wrong. But he understood, he understood that Mami would take care of it and that she understood what I was going through. We did it so often until she you know... that I don’t know how to tell my dad about it. Like him making me hot chocolate like he used to won’t make going away,”  Julie sighed wiping the quickly forming tears from her eyes. Julie turned away from the concerned, so he couldn’t see how close she is to completely breaking down.

Reggie wrap his fettuccine arms around Julie pulling her into a warm hug that smelled like the lemon-lavender bath and body works body wash she bought him for the shower in the garage. The was comforting which led to Julie letting her guard down, shoulders shaking as she heavily sobbed into her undead friend’s shoulder as he rubbed her back. After she was seemingly cried out she looked up at Reggie, who looked wide eyed at her.

“I’m sorry I snotted all over your flannel. God that’s so disgusting. I’m just going to go to bed and just mope and watch Netflix. Thank for being a shoulder I could lean on. I’m sorry that I was just being annoying,” Julie whispered as she tried to wipe away the snot only to make a bigger mess.

"Hey hey hey it's okay Julie I can just wash it or like blame it on ghost ectoplasm. Julie do we leak ectoplasm?"

Julie laughed wetly as Reggie frantically looked to see if he was oozing before realizing that he was getting distracted. She quickly noticed the major shift in demeanor change as he seriously looked at her.

"Julie you are beautiful and I know that you don't feel like that now but you will eventually. And I know that you don't want me to fix you and I won't because I can't. And I know you might want to try to impress Luke with how you look or just think that your looks are all that Luke that think about, but I am his best friend and I know that he would be head over fucking heels gone for you. Even if you look like whatever a Jar-Jar looks like he would see you as the light of his world. He is in love with you and your soul and you deserve that love. But you deserve self love even more. Julie you are not a thing to be looked at then judged. You are a person with feelings and  personality and a story, a story to tell. Your body looks the way it does because of all the things you've experienced in life. Julie I know this all may sound meaningless coming from me but you are literally one of the strongest people I know and I know you can through. You will not be less strong if you reach out for help. You might be my favorite Molina but talking to Ray is smarter than you think and he can help. I just hate seeing my sister hurt like this," Reggie said before yelping as he noticed that Julie had started to bawl again.

"Wait Julie no I'm sorry. Was that too much. God I know you said I shouldn't try to fix things. I should've kept my dumb mouth closed and not bring up Ray. I'm sorry Julie don't cry," Reggie rambled nervously rubbing her back

“No no no no Reggie you didn’t say too much. You just shocked me honestly but like in a good way. I mean I can’t say that I will believe everything you said. But thank you Reg. Thank you I am so glad that you are in my life. You’re my favorite Peters and you are much smarter than other people give you credit for,” Julie says laughing at Reggie’s bright smile.

“I mean need them to underestimate me sometimes. But let’s watch something together to at least make your BBD a little better.”

Julie smilies quickly nodding before putting on the first episode of the Mandalorian and snuggling close to the older brother that she never had. 

Julie felt okay to say the least for the next couple of weeks her next BBD hit her. Julie sighed pushing herself off the bed looking in the mirror that is covered in encouraging notes from her Dad, Reggie, and Flynn. She sighed about to leave her room to go talk to her Dad again about what was going on before she notice a hoodie on the bed. It was a fleece lined hoodie that was left on her bed folded her bed saying ‘Uke I’m your father’ on it. 

Reggie Julie sighed shaking her head smiling as she picked up the little note that was left with it 

‘I knew that you said that you and mom had matching hoodies for your BBD’s so here’s one that we can wear together. I mean only if you want to I know it was something you and your mom did so I don’t want to butt in on a tradition. But it could be like a signal that you’re having a BBD. I don’t know it might be stupid but I hope you like it.’

why i chose my url: dates back to my intense summer of binge reading J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Vishous was my favorite of the brothers haha. i first used this username in some random game on my nintendo ds lol 

how many people are you following: 358 which somehow feels like a lot but also like way too few?? i should probably search for some new blogs with other topics than cql, bts and/or dmbj bc i do love a lot of things at once

average hours of sleep: i’d say around 7h

what i’m currently wearing: black jeans, socks with foxes on them (plus my woolly socks), a gray cardigan (my fave thing ever!) and an orange/brown top

dream job: writer would be ideal but that is very faaaaar into the dream zone 

dream trip: around different parts of asia to taste all the amazing food ;; maybe a road trip of sorts through europe? or inter railing? another trip to london bc i miss that ;; a trip to the very northern part of lapland to see all the auroras etc! i’ve never been that far north :’D 

fave food: if i need to quickly name something then sushi. otherwise am pretty fine with anything spicy 

top three fictional universes you’d like to live in: i remember thinking about this a lot the last time i answered this but hmm. currently i’d say dmbj still bc that world is fascinating AND i would love to talk to the characters. mass effect would be the second one currently bc i miss those games and the space stuff is super cool! and the third one would be assassin’s creed rogue bc that is my fave ac game and i like the northern sea and the places in it AND i could probably be one of abstergo’s employees instead and just test/play those simulation games haha

Last Song: am currently listening to my playlist with just everything so i have Andrew Belle’s The Enemy playing right now (also I only just now realized that Andrew Belle also sings Pieces which is one of my fave songs? my bff linked that to me after it played in some tv series she was watching)

Last Movie Last Stream: i didn’t want to mention the same movie again or skip this question and i’ve wanted to talk about this anyway so! i watched Liu Chang’s bday live last night :’D it was so much fun even if i couldn’t understand anything. it was just nice to watch him being himself and have fun and chill with his fans. also the songs were amazing ;; i cried with Liu Sang’s character song as well as the ending. and all the while i couldn’t turn my gaze away from his eyes! he has such pretty eyes and they were absolutely Sparkling throughout the whole stream, it was so nice :’)

Currently Reading: Devotions by Mary Oliver (i adore her poems! they’re a very nice change after Siken haha) and then some uni stuff for a course about culture and mental health plus my thesis

Currently Watching: Douluo Continent, Word of Honor, The Long Ballad 

all of these are amazing and make me feel different things! i started Douluo Continent just a while ago and am now on ep 16 i think? it’s been very pretty and very chill and i watch it during the weekend while i wait for new episodes to the other two :’D it’s nice to see Xiao Zhan again and i’ve enjoyed the rpg game type of feeling in it? the group of seven is doing amazing and it’s interesting to watch them craft their team work! Word of Honor again has reached the ending and i just hold my breath with it. am not too far gone with it so i am not getting as heavy feelings about it as i probably could but i enjoy it  alot still and i do cry at times ^^ and then The Long Ballad has just blown me away! i didn’t expect to love it this much and be this invested in it but everything about it has been such a positive surprise and it keeps making me super emotional! i love the characters and the story and the romances even! it’s a great accomplishment for me. also yes i cry on the daily bc of hao du and bc of ashile sun’s hair haha

(i am also rewatching Ultimate Note kind of and been thinking about getting into rewatching Reboot bc it has been on my list ever since i finished it)

What is antipoetry to you: okay hmm i had to google this too and have to agree with Kiddo here. i don’t have strong feelings about poetry tbh, i wasn’t into poetry that much before maybe a bit over year ago? Siken has really blown me away haha. but i have always loved song lyrics which i never thought as poetry but then Kiddo said to me that they consider them poetry and yeah ok. i agree? so idk poetry can be whatever i suppose. i’ve never seen any rules in it anyway. i know there are many rules for different types of poetry but then again. i feel like poetry has always been just words put together to feel things and i guess that is the core purpose of every written type of art in the end right? 

Currently craving: a drama as good and as personal as The Journey Across the Night. that show really just stole my heart and i want that feeling back. i think about that show every day. i miss Li Jia and his two partners. i miss the vibes. i miss sitting on my floor watching it and just sobbing my heart out haha. also! craving a properly subbed, whole version of Anti-Fraud League. only the first 12 eps are badly subbed out there. wetv has... blocked? deleted? the whole show??? i need it to my life, i wanna see Xiao Yuliang being cute as Mi Ruo and i wanna know where the story goes smh
