Thoughts on Levi age regressing

Levi needs a lot of tender love and care. All of the brothers do, but Levi especially. He needs to be told when to take a bath or when to eat or when to get off his screens. He can’t care for himself sometimes, so much so that it comes off as childish. Which is what brought you here. You’d told Levi about regression, and his immediate response was a mix of shock and confusion, as is the response of many. Standing your ground, you’d sent him some links explaining age regression.

It’d taken a day or two and he’d come knocking, shyly and barely ready to admit that he was interested. You two take it slow and carefully, addressing boundaries, what he’d want/need, what to do if he gets overwhelmed or uncomfortable, how to enter a headspace, and what items/clothes he’d require for regressing. Once the bases are covered you find a time to regress. Levi needs a quiet, isolated space (his room), he needs a protective caretaker that’s prepared to set and help him follow rules. Of course, what he needs most is reassurance and care. Levi will regress to a young age (5-10yrs old?) and wants to play video games, color, or play dress up and pretend. He has a lot of fun while regressing and it's a good time to make sure his basic needs that he may have been neglecting are met. While regressing it's easier to get him to do things, and he's less embarrassed about things. But boy does that embarrassment hit later when he comes out of his headspace. He might need even more reassurance and care when he comes out of his headspace than when he's regressing. Although with each regression he gets more comfortable.
