Hey, so I haven’t read Knifetrick…

But ever since chapter six came out I think I’m starting to get a grasp on the characters here, so this is a “here’s what I know from just the fandom/tumblr tag” post since I haven’t seen a fanfic get this big since Passerine-

First up, we got: RAN!

- Endy guy from that one episode from TFTSMP who was hella sus the whole time but apparently this time he’s not

- No indication of him being a assassin except in text posts, maybe he’s in retirement or something…?

- Dang this boy was so sweet that instead of using his assassin skills himself, he has friends as his bodyguards.

- Why does he strike me as a hopeless romantic???

with pleasure!!! buckle up bc this is probably going to be very long-winded and chaotic and most design choices cater to my likings more than reason or practicality >:]

tubbo:

i’d like to think he’s some sort of shapeshifter who like subconsciously picks up traits from the people and things he’s around (idk if they’d be permanent, maybe some stick and others are semi-permanent)

various traits (again, more or less for my enjoyment bc i think they’re cool) include: 

blond hair that fluctuates between very fair to brunet depending on how much he’s around tommy

horns! probably multiple, but of different kids, ex. cow and goat (goat bc of schlatt administration, and cow horns bc i honestly just love highland cow/moobloom tubbo)

bee wings (and maybe antennae) because, well, he likea da bee

harkening back to my adoration of moobloom!tubbo, he grows little flowers and sprouts out of himself, the most notable being a sunflower covering his injured eye after being executed by techno

other than that, he has the scars from the fireworks and thats pretty much all i can think of (smh i got kin assigned c!tubbbo by a uquiz once and then proceeded to make as many ludicrous headcanons as i could)

ranboo:

i’ve got less than nothing when it comes to what his other half could be so i just bank in on making him a Creacher

mans proportions are out of wack. he is too tall, but also at the same time lopsided in a sort of way, like two pieces of different cloth sewn badly together

he also just has spikes along his back; normally they lay down somewhat flush but raise themselves when the boo is angry or in the enderwalk (i think i based this off his one spikey bones bit? from slimecicle’s dsmp stream but i don’t remember it too well, it could have honestly been a figment of my imagination)

going off of that, he becomes visibly more enderman when he’s angry/ upset (elimination of the dubiously canon 2ft slouch, back spikey, voice starts to hiss and pop and crackle, think of a campfire + enderman noises)

other than that, since he’s so tall and has two different canon heights, his suit is a horrible amalgamation of patches, stitches, repaired seams, and uneven extensions (he always keeps an allium in his suit pocket as well :])

tommy:

i have no idea where the idea of tommy being a lab experiment came from or how i heard of it but i loved it and decided to run with it, as i do with any design that fits my fancy

this has led to me envisioning him as a terrible little racoon/chicken/cow/human hybrid with all the horribleness that surely comes with this combination

as far as features go, he’s got more of less of a regular kid’s body ignoring smallish chicken-like wings, horns, and racoon ears and tail

he can’t fly, but the boy sure can Scamper and Will disappear With your valuables if you are not keeping an eye on him constantly

him and henry are were cow buddies *sobs*

has the innate desire to smudge dirt on his face to mimic racoon markings, some think it’s gross, others find it endearing

i’d like to think he kept the blood stains/maybe injuries from his death as a side effect of being revived, simply for the undead aesthetic (+ white streak in his hair, of course)

in conclusion, my bench trio designs are completely ludicrous and pretty much solely self-indulgent, but i’d like to think they’re a little cool, and, ultimately, i love my little abominations of nature <3

we're from a hybrid au. everyone in source was some sort of hybrid, usually two species and could shapeshift into at least one! heres what i remember best

~ me (tubbo) - a moobloom and bee hybrid! i have a centaur form and an satyr form, both with wings! i had more yellowish hair that i would dye brown, and would let my roots grow out post snowchester

~ schlatt - my father, a ram/wasp hybrid who was. kind of as shitty in the original source, he had a satyr form and a human form, both with wings

~ puffy - my aunt, a moobloom/sheep hybrid, she was a pirate with a crew (sally and minx!) before settling down, half adopted foolish later in life and was close with dream at some point? she may have sort of adopted him too, she had a centaur form and a satyr form

~ ranboo - he was an enderman/something hybrid, i suspected ghast but he never really cleared that up! he used to be prince of the end before someone or something brought him to the overworld, after all that the end was restricted and he couldnt get back, but he only remembered all this long after snowchester was started

~ tommy - a raccoon and avian hybrid, the species of bird specifically was a magpie, and he has red and orangeish/yellow wings in a sort of gradient! he has orange hair and eyes, and often wore a cropped hoodie over a white longsleeved shirt, he could shapeshift into a little raccoon

~ wilbur - technoblades "twin", a piglin/avian hybrid, he was a bluejay and his wings had some yellow on them at the top, in his piglin form he was brown and he could shapeshift between a more piglin form and a human/avian hybrid

~ technoblade - wilburs "twin", a piglin brute/avian hybrid, he was a rook with dark wings that closely resembled phils, except they were white on the inside! he could shapeshift between a piglin hybrid and a human/avian hybrid, he would often wear his hair in a very long braid, and had tusks even in his human form

~ phil - a crow/angel hybrid with two forms, his crow forms wings were massive but nothing compared to his angel of death form, he was a very skilled flier and traveler until he had the boys and settled down

~ dream - a deer/demon hybrid, he had a centaur form and an upright form, he was specifically a fallow deer with spots on his legs and back and large antlers

~ george - a mooshroom/fairy hybrid, he had very pretty red monarch patterned wings, and had both a centaur form and a fairy form (his ears were pointy and he had his wings!)

~ quackity - a duck/shapeshifter (overall like. able to mimic people?) hybrid, his wings got clipped during his time with schlatt but they began to grow back during his time in las nevadas, albeit very slowly

- sam - he was a creeper/tanuki hybrid with a centaur creeper form, which he was seen in most often

- charlie - he was a slime/???? hybrid and could mimic other people's appearances, he could also change color which he did sometimes!

Big Q and Tubbo were also very close :] (Also he's really interested in bees and radioactivity/atomic warfare !!)

A BROTP I have with said character: not gonna go for the clingyduo despite how much i care them. i really really like tubbo and quackity’s dynamic, they don’t always like each other, but they so often end up on the same side, even if they’re there for different reasons. i feel like they both don’t address their issues, they both have husbands with memory issues, they both have an history of being hurt by a lot of the same people etc etc etc. i just think there are so many parallels between them…. i hope that gets explored in the burger arc

A NOTP I have with said character: fuckin uhhh tommy and tubbo. they are best friends dont b weird

A random headcanon: he’s a goat hybrid but didn’t know until the manberg era when schlatt made some comments about it. because he didn’t know his parents, he could only go off his traits and he (as well as everyone else) thought he was a moobloom hybrid, especially because his hair was naturally blonde as a kid before it started darkening.

General Opinion over said character: oh he is my favorite i’m sure anyone who follows me knows this :]. cc!tubbo was the first dsmp streamer i watched so i was predisposed to like his character but holy shit oh my god. i was kin assigned him by my friends before i knew what dreamsmp was and god were they right!

A BROTP I have with said character: literally sapnap’s entire character is constantly being left by his friends whether metaphorically or physically can we pls talk about this i am so emo over this man… gonna be basic and say the dream team bc my headcanon is that they were all super close when they were younger but grew apart due to circumstances and sapnap just… can’t understand how dream became the cruel guy he is now. did he fail as a friend? did he never notice? and then george is like so obviously depressed so he must feel awful about that as well i just… c!sapnap my beloved

A random headcanon: he’s 100% human but his dad (bbh) taught him some cool fire magic mostly for protection in the nether, but he ended up liking it so much he started learning a bunch himself.
