Wanted to show off my newly cleaned and organized room because ya girl has ADHD and clinical depression so this shit is a big deal for me lol. I'm guessing this is mostly due to the fact that I accidentally took two doses of my adderall the other day, and turns out 40 mgs is probably what I should have been on all along because wow I’m actually getting shit done now??

Anyway tho, I've found that one of my biggest issues when it comes to keeping things organized is "out of sight, out of mind"--ie, if something isn't visible to me, I often forget it exists. (Yes, I have a Masters Degree but have yet to fully comprehend the concept of object permanence, apparently.) So I've finally decided to do something about this! I'm in the process of labeling all of my drawers, cabinets, and storage containers so I can keep track of my shit. So far the labelled dresser drawers have worked wonders in stopping me from just throwing my clothes on the ground or stuffing them wherever. We'll see if this is sustainable in the long run

What is it with Bangkok hotel rooms and lack of drawers? I stayed in 3 high end ones last year and not one of them had somewhere to put your underwear. Arrived again today and am in a gorgeous room in a nice hotel again and the only place I can put my knickers, T-shirts etc is on the floor under the hanging rail.

I did get excited by the sight of one drawer but when I opened it, prepared to fling in an armful of unmentionables, it was full of the room safe.

i have limited shelf space so i literally have to sort by vibes and what can fit together. these shelves also have to fit not just my books, but also my schoolwork, my important documents, my sketchbooks, my houseplants, my art and school supplies, my jewelry and makeup boxes, my decor. every shelf with books has them piled vertically and horizontally. two rows stacked one behind the other. the most "organisation" my shelf has is putting those by the same author together, and putting all the non fiction books onto one shelf together. the book shelf economy has me in shambles, sorting by vibes is my only option
