This might be a long shot, but if anyone has audio or video of Becca Petersen when she went on as Regina or Cady in the Mean Girls tour in Denver please let me know!!! I would likely be willing to pay for it if no one’s gifting! So excited that she got to go on for Cady again!!!

Howdy, I have a couple questions about your Bttaf Musical experience. 1) what did you think about the store attached to the Winter Garden, if you went (I loved it and enjoyed getting the clock picture). 2) Do you know who played Lorraine at the showing you saw and how did they do? (I saw it in February and Becca Petersen was understudy-ing and she was perfect to a degree I was surprised she wasn't the main Lorraine)

Ah, I actually saw the touring production of the show (at the Orpheum theater in Minneapolis), not the Broadway one, so alas I didn't get the chance to check out the Winter Garden store. I bet it's a fun time though.

Zan Berube played Lorraine in the production I saw, and she's the main actress for her on tour. I thought she did fantastic! Lorraine is a really fun character and she brought her to life so well. But I also had a similar experience to you in that Will Jewett was understudy-ing for George the night I saw it and I would never have guessed -- he did an amazing job with all the physical comedy in that particular role, and I would have assumed he was the main actor for George if I didn't know otherwise. Understudies are so powerful.

And two I’m less certain of:

Charlie Enright :: Robbie Noonan

I feel like the Jimmy Spithill analogue in The Golden Generation should have a name with the same “Common shortened firstname, uncommon last name” rhythm. “Chris Sokoll” is the current best one I’ve come up with, it’s a variant spelling of the word for “Falcon” in a few different Eastern European languages so that’s pretty cool and possibly suggests ancestors who came to Australia from that part of the world.

But I’m not sold on it, if anyone else can think of names that follow the rhythm, feel free to suggest them.

Like all of you I’ve been made aware of the Extremely Sad News that Becca Petersen was only joining the Mean Girls tour temporarily, and already had her last show. Had I known this, I may have just moved mountains and drained my bank account to see her in that show one last time, but I didn’t! If anyone who sees this did, and took audio/video… My DMs are OPEN. I will trade unfairly or pay for the bootleg if it features Becca Petersen u/s Karen on the Mean Girls tour. Please if anyone knows that this exists let me know, I am desperate!

I feel like you can divide the people who play Regina George into “Someone Gets Hurt Reginas” and “World Burn Reginas”. Obviously they’re all amazingly talented and great in the role, it’s just that some have their shining moment in SGH and others in World Burn (because they are both very different songs that require different things).

I think Taylor Louderman, Becca Petersen, Cailen Fu and Olivia Renteria shine better in Someone Gets Hurt, meanwhile Renee Rapp, Mariah Rose Faith, English Bernhardt and Ashley de la Rosa own World Burn.
