Ну сегодня же St. Patrick's Day! All green. All happy. All Irish. Лучше места в городе для такого праздника не найти. Для моего ДР и для Дня св.Патрика😁. Вооруженные настоящими ирландскими нарядами таки отметили этот вечер в лучших ирландских традициях несмотря ни на что. Трудностей всегда много. Но ещё тогда, в детстве, душевная Ирландия приняла меня, поселилась в моём сердце, изменила всю мою жизнь и научила меня золотой фразе #kissmeimirish, чтобы не было повода убирать улыбку с лица😋. speaking as someone who LOVEs b5 you are 10 eps in and nobody gels? just asking...cos i started and damn ivanova IS GOD :) but its so cool you watch it the story is pretty awesome in my opinion :) happy watching

I like how she’s consistently stood up to people by threatening to beat the living daylights out of them-- which is something I already knew about Ivanova. Beyond that I’m still trying to get the sense of the character.

I am sure B5 is great, I’m just waiting for the moment when it clicks for me, I’m sure it will happen. Right now I’m appreciating the really bad CGI effects they were trying to be so high tech! 

This is where practical effects is still better I think.

Yeah it really ruins the nice atmosphere of pretty graphics, people posting about their post-episode/ship feels, or the adoration of characters. Like if it were legit critique, which many POI fans actually do, you have a choice as to whether or not the critique of a character is reasonable or not. But when it's flat out "why are they even here when they are shitty because A, B and C also I hate their guts so I hope the next character death is them and I hope it's super brutal" no one welcomes that type of opinion okay, keep it to yourself

Ugh. I was just wondering if I should dip my toe back into the fandom but I guess not :/ hate that shit

Currently the fandom is very pleasant and there's so many newcomers that add on to the metas and pretty graphics, it's quite wonderful. The haters are very few in between, but you just have to have that block button ready I suppose :\

This is why I rarely check the tag. I get to be blissfully unaware of people’s hatred of characters. Much better. :P

I'm a sucker for wanting to find meta and new graphics, plus I'm always looking forward to making more friends so I check the tags regularly. I just wish people would have the courtesy to not tag their rants about how a character sucks. Frankly that's an opinion no one cares about, and it's obviously wank bait.

Ich denke, um die eigentliche Qualität des Englisches in meiner fanfiction ging es Nonny hierbei gar nicht, sondern um eine etwas fehlerhafte Wortwahl. Was ja so eine Sache ist, da ich kein Muttersprachlergefühl habe.  Ich finde das aber okay. Es gibt mich halt nur mit Deutscher Eintrübung. Ende im Gelände. Manche Leute haben mir sogar schon geschrieben, dass sie das manchmal beim Lesen recht interessant finden, wie das Deutsche Gehirn so tickt.

(I prefer reading fanfiction in English, too, because mostly, there is just stuff that doesn't work in German or sounds weird in German or anything. It's just weird. Also, by writing English, one does speak the language of the fandom. I could write that in German, but only three people and their ferret would actually read it then. ;))

Still prefering Deutsch to English. Das muss ich, since I'm a Deutschteacher. But I would love to sprech so ein merkwürdiges Mischmasch to be able to express everything das ich sagen will properly.
