It was the first time you went to their concerts after you became friends

You find it so endearing 

When you turn to him he’s smiling really widely but he’s obviously really nervous

You spend the rest of the night teasing the other members with him and pranking them

Either way, you needed his help to carry some stuff from your car into the dorm

His heart flutters at the thought of you asking him first 

So he helps you 

It’s still silent because he really doesn’t want to make a fool out of himself 

You’re kinda scared because you knew he was really strong and you didn’t want torture the others with carrying the bags filled with various christmas decorations 

All of you decorate the living room together 

Jongho’s kinda sad that you don’t stick by his side 

He wonders whether you don’t like him either and starts feeling discouraged because he was supposed to play you a song he wrote

He had Hongjoong help him 

Hongjoong finds Jongho really cute and he couldn’t say no 

He has to reassure Jongho that you do like him because you’ve told Hongjoong before 

“I don’t think they hate you” 

“They don’t talk to me much T-T” 

“Just try it” 

Jongho still doesn’t know how to feel 

Brings out his guitar and starts feeling real nervous 

You watch him intently 

When he’s done, you’re both blushing like crazy 

Pulls you away from the others to talk to you about it 

“You were so quiet I thought you didn’t like me,,,” 

Now he feels bad for being so quiet 

He explains that he just felt really nervous around you 

You find that adorable 

He cuddles you for the rest of the night 

He’s so strong he legit doesn’t let you go and you can’t escape

baker boy!yeo one

a/n: i’ve been playing with this idea for quite some time and i’ve always really wanted to write for my ptg boys so here is some soft and fluffy (hehehe) baker boy yeo changgu au!!

Yeo one probably got into baking as a shy kid watching his grandma trying to make him something nice everytime he visits her. Soon enough, as his grandma gets old, he tries to take over his duties and finds that he simply loves the job

He absolutely adores the process of sifting flour, getting his measurements in check, kneading the dough and his favourite part is always going to be – opening up the oven tray and smelling the bred because he can always tell when a batch is going to be perfect

Though his family wanted him to choose something more prestigious or even more economically relevant, yeo one genuinely loves baking. He tried to go to a culinary school to please his parents under the excuse of ‘its food anyway’ but even with an exceptional hand at desserts, he came back to korea and set up a small quaint café that speacialises in chocolates and bread but here is the problem –

He’s been trying to get his chocolate bought and sold for ages now. He’s worked with several confectioners and chocolatiers who sell their stuff to him but he just doesn’t like the fact that when it arrives at his store, it’s already not fresh. Not that his customers ever find out because he always puts a spin on things and sells them whatever they want in pretty packaging and that smile (And honestly how can you even focus on food when yeo changgu is smiling at you)

So he’s been on a hunt for a chocolatier for months and months and spread the word among all of his chef friends until one day, you walk in, with his card in your hand and he thinks you’re just another customer and he woos you into trying a cup of their hot chocolate “home brewed” he says

And you’re just like ok cool this place was looking for a chocolatier but I guess they don’t need one anymore so you try the hot chocolate and honestly you could have really done a better job and you try your best not to shut your eyes tight from the pain of a lost cup of cocoa but changgu picks up on the subtle shrink of your eyebrows and he’s by your heel immediately “you don’t think it’s good????”

And you’re trying to be nice here, you really are but you can’t help it. Chocolate has always fascinated you so you launch into the science of gastronomy over a cup of cocoa and changgu is caught by your beautiful intellect but also wow this person’s eyes light up so beautifully when they’re literally talking about the sweetest thing on the planet and halfway between your sermon he has to look away because he’s staring too much

But you think oh he’s had enough of your blahblahblah so you cough and excuse yourself. You bow and you think that’s that and you’re ready to pay and head out but nope changgu doesn’t have the same ideas and his hands dart out immediately to hold your shoulder back

And he pulls back immediately because he gets so freaked that you might think of him as some sort of creepy pervert and he begins to apologise profusely before you even register what just happened

Within moments he’s offering you half the share of the café if you just find it in your heart to forgive him and come work as his chocolatier and you’re like it’s cool I’ll take the employment but the shares aren’t necessary but he’s like “ no you don’t get it chocolates are going to be THE thing of this café and I know your tongue is a genius –“

“-i…uh huh”

“I didn’t mean it that way….”

Cue: a very embarrassed and pink changgu with his ears turning a bright red and he has no idea what to do with his hands like should he scratch his neck or wring them out like clothes on a line???

But you agree anyway and you decide to work with changgu

It’s only on your way out that you realise he called you ‘his chocolatier’

And he does. he often pops by your side as you’re serving something to a customer or working on a new delicacy and he just goes “how are you madame extraodinaire” and you’re just like “changgu pls don’t try French. The only French you’re good at is French loaf (jkjk)” but he DOES NOT STOP

And eventually the café takes off because there are two visuals running this super cute café and the food is delish??? And the main baker often pulls up his shirt sleeves till the elbows and he’s got this cute fluff of flour on his nose that he ignores for the whole day??? It’s amazing. All the high schoolers and college girls flock to your café but changgu only has eyes for you. When you softly swirl thin icing on your latest bonbons, he feels like his heart is going to explode. All he thinks about is “their hands would probs smell like chocolates like 24 x 7 oh my god im so far gone”

But the best part about boss!changgu is that he always suggests breaks away from work because though the two of you create food, it’s also art and you guys need to take yourselves out on “artist dates” as he calls it. It’s a very cheap excuse for him to take you out on a date and this one time he suggests closing up shop early so you can catch the sunset at this secluded beach nearby and he doesn’t realise but it’s a weekend so you guys weren’t the only ones with plans like that and when you get there – it’s crowded af

But no problem. Our optimistic changgu will never let you down. He suggests getting some cotton candy/ice cream and walking by the wooden pathway across the shoreline and he gets so distracted trying to Naruto-run across the beach and scare the gulls away and you’re having a mini panic at the thought of his icecream melting all over your hands and you keep yelling for him to come back and he does

He walks back to you, his smile carried by the ocean winds and you can hear him before you see him really. With the pastel orange sky behind him, changgu looks so ethereal you wonder how someone hasn’t fallen head over in heels in love with him and you don’t realise you’ve said that outloud but yeo one our boi heard it loud and clear

He bends down to take his ice cream cone from your hand and brings your palm to his lips as he licks a stray trail of ice cream and looks into your eyes and whispers, “I was waiting for you to fall in love with me”

And you’re just…

Yeah. Take a moment there

BASICALLY BOYFRIEND YEO CHANGGU is an aspiring travel photographer. Once your relationship begins, your café shuts earlier and he always attempts to get more roadtrips and aesthetic café trips into your schedule. Always attempts to look at seoul through “new eye” and will take you to every town and metropolis in sk because he loves loves loves to explore and now he has someone to take nice pics of in all these locations

But loves the sea because it makes him feel like a kid again (and because that’s where he first confessed to you, and bought you a promise ring because this boi is here for the long ride ok)

Such a precious bun always initiates everything first which honestly scares you because he’s too perfect of a boyfriend. He takes care of you, encourages you to follow your dreams, brings you adventure and new experiences and is also kind and gentle and you’re like where is the fault line??? The other shoe??? When is this going to drop??

But it doesn’t because he genuinely believes that if he isn’t his best around you then he’ll probably lose you but that’s never going to be the case and it might take him a while to believe that

But it’s ok because when he does, it’ll open you up to a whole world of his insecurities and daily worries and this man is a SOFTIE and he might just sit down and cry if he can’t get a recipe right or if your/his family members die

But it’s ok because the two of you have each other and somedays that doesn’t solve all the problems but it gives him the strength to reach till the next morning and he’s alright with that.

Bonus: you only find out on your 1500 days together date that changgu is actually a certified chef when he brings out that awesome beef bourginion and you’re just like HOLD UP I WAS MISSING OUT????

For the YOI movie, I doubt so. There sounds like there will be a second season (not confirmed though). 

OH BOY HWARANG LET’S TALK ABOUT MY PRETTY BOYS 

Basically, it’s a show set in olden day korea, where a certain Queen rules the kindom of Silla. She has a son, the rightful king, but she had kept him hidden because she was afraid that her enemies would kill him. So, she assumes the rule of the kingdom while her young son grows up. Now, this kid is getting sick of sitting in the shadows and wants to become a good king his people can respect. By the way, this is the king, my fav 

((he damn handsome right))

However, the ruling Queen likes the throne, and doesn’t want to give it up. The other politicians are getting fidgety and want to dethrone the royal family. In a bid to ensure the safety of the royal family and the kingdom, the Queen decides to form this elite group of bodyguards for the king. They will become her dogs, doing her bidding. Buuuut, not just anyone can join. She only wants the prettiest and most talented young men in the country. Hence Hwarang (which literally means flower boys) is formed!! They get to live in the same house, train etc. Basically it’s a show filled with beautiful men doing beautiful things beautifully. There’s also the main character, who is female (and very lucky to be surrounded by so many hot men) (but not all of them are interested in her) Now on to the characters (If you wanna skip the post, just press the J key on your laptop. It skips the post for you) (but why you wanna skip) 

The girl, Aro 

Her father is a well known doctor, though they are not rich. She lost her brother at a young age due to some issues. However, he came back!! (or did he) (you gotta watch to find out). She also helps out the family finances by working as an story teller that specializes in erotica. People pay good money to listen to her stories. She is a half breed, born of a noble father and a lowly mother. 

  next up, her ‘brother’ Sun Woo/ Moo Myung

he’s the other main character and falls in love with the girl!! He’s hot headed, and all his decisions are made with a roll of a die (quite literally, he carries one around) Since he comes from the province, once he enters the city, he can’t read/write/do city things at all. The poor kid that needs to be protected.  Unfortunately, he likes to stab people, which is how he ends up meeting….. 

Sam maek jong/ Kim Ji Dwi 

but didn’t I say he was the king???? Yes, he is. He got fed up with his mom restricting him so he decided ‘screw you i’m pretty i’m smart I wanna join the hwarang’ and so he enters under a fake name. He is reaaaally good friends with sun woo, they even hang from the rafters together ;)

He also likes the main girl, because her stories lull him to sleep (ohohohoho). He just doesn’t quite like her ‘brother’. 

There’s also this guy, Han-Sung. If you search the hwarang tag, it’s all him, because other than acting, the actor has a very solid music career as 1/7 of the popular BTS. 

This guy is precious and must be protected. Smol and cute and innocent. He is Not Ready For Anything

He hangs around with a very flamboyant Yeo Wool 

This is the first scene he appears in, (context: everyone was forced to get drunk and fight for their roomates, even the best fighters end up tired and disheveled He is sitting in the best room all prim and proper) his first words are “why, haven’t you seen a beautiful man before?” when the two main characters stare at him. A++++++

The last 2 of the main cast are Ban Ryu and Soo Ho (they really need to start dating) 

Ice prince, one of the most handsome and powerful young men. However, he hates the queen and refuses to join Hwarang until he got baited into a fight with….

Soo Ho!! Don’t worry, his slapping is justified. You see, he’s a horrible play boy who dates several women at a go. Even his sister (who Ban Ryu likes btw) said “I don’t have any female friends because my brother dated them all and broke their hearts”. Soo Ho and Ban Ryu hate each other with a burning passion. They hate each other so much they ended up drunkenly brawling and ended up sleeping on the same bed (hue hue hue hue hue) 

So that’s the main bunch of pretty boys that I watch the show for!! There’s also things like dancing

and of course, fighting!!
