i just found my old diary from when i was 6, and.......... i have no words

#i was writing a story sjdskjd #that's why it says introduction at the top #i still remember the plot and everything #the main character was me #but as a princess stuck in a tower #i was friends with this gigantic bird/hawk thing that came to my window every night #and one day i get so bored in my tower that i jump on the bird and we go falling to the ground #because i'm too heavy for the bird to carry JDSKJD #so i freaking die #and that's it #that's the story #i only wrote this intro though lmaoo #saviorhide #nonsims

Sims 4 is kind of sad because its like they don't even hide the fact that they purposefully half ass everything just because they know people will pay for it i'll never forget one time during a live stream or maybe it was a tweet session someone asked if the newest expansion/stuff pack would have a certain feature and the guru said "no, but hopefully a modder can add that in" like ???? to me that was an admission that they do the bare minimum because they know you guys can do the rest

dude i am ALWAYS down to complain about ea!! any heart and soul they had for this game has been completely destroyed. and it sucks because i remember when seasons was released and there were all those livestreams of the devs showing off the game, and they all seemed sooo excited and genuinely proud, but now it’s like... they must know that the product they’re making rn isn’t quality work, because the enthusiasm doesn’t feel real anymore. and i don’t think it’s their fault that the packs are so bad, i think it’s ea’s fault for trying to cut corners at all costs. but like....... even with that in consideration, i truly don’t understand why they’ve gotten so lazy? like you said, modders have given us so many things that the game hasn’t, and they did it all for free. even the things the devs said were “impossible” like bunk beds (obviously the animations are kinda wack with mods, but its clearly very possible with ea’s budget). there’s just no excuse in my opinion... any way you spin it, ts4 is a big 6-year-long disappointment lmao (and yes i realize the irony of me saying this on my ts4 blog jdskjds but storytelling doesn’t count imo, i could do this with or without the sims). but yeah in conclusion: ea sucks
