Am I supposed to sympathize with Mythal or hate her?? Like I did that whole fucking quest and why am I getting really conflicting statements? “Mythal wuvs all her children and knows they will one day go beyond even the ancient elves” (admittedly this is stated after “she’s had millennia to grow more patient and wise”) compared to whatever the fuck was going on between her and Solas- which I still believe was toxic af, btw.

I think it’s meant like “oh she did bad things but she’s better now”- and while I appreciate the sentiment of saying bad people can change for the better, she and Solas still kind of fucked over the world by severing the spirits of the Titans from their bodies (sort of like what happened to Godwyn in Elden Ring if I got that correctly) leading to, y’know, the BLIGHT?

And yes, a part of me thinks she WAS helping over the course of the games to quell the Blight- sending Morrigan with the HOF knowing that Flemythal intended to transfer to her once Flemeth croaked, (idk about DA2 tbh because I haven’t finished it), and then the whole dragon thing during the final battle with Corypheus.

Yet another part of me thinks that she went too far, and even her present attempts to help are not really addressing the root of the issue.
