I keep talking about d*rk ac*demia but like. I just want to read another TSH book... but a different book XDD unfortunately none of the popular staples of the genre satisfy that, because the themes in those are all wonky - it feels more satisfying to look for those themes elsewhere (in other genres of books)... but i want more campus novels... I almost want to write one myself but I only have a setting and some characters in mind, no plot (= events) or anything to say (= theme)

#rant:#i thought b*nny by m*na aw*d wasnt very good #because of the extreme and detailed depictions of heterosexuality HSHAJUDHSJFHJSJFJF #like idk maybe to some thats refreshingly feminist and satirical... but to me when any book mentions a guy's abs my eyes start to glaze ove #<- this is NOT me being 'not like other girls' btw!!! this is me being GAY with a preference for no guy abs in my literature #also - when i read if we were v*llains i liked it but it doesnt scratch that itch either #because its just messy thematically and much less 'lush' in a way #i used to want to read b*bel but apparently its really heavy-handed in its message and that doesnt sound fun lol #tune in for my traditionally published novel where the plot is.... international student studies at german uni. german town is german.#student begs landlord for slip of paper to bring to the resident registration office to get another slip of paper to avoid being fined #student dramatically forgets to pay rundfunkbeitrag. bread is cheap at aldi!!!!! <3 #oajdioasdfjdoaol #books #literature #ngl i would read that ^^ but it SHOULD have more plot... you can only talk about bread & anmeldung & rundfunkbeitrag for the first 20 pages
