Listen.
Look me in the metaphorical eyes and listen.
You do not need to forgive your abuser to heal.
Ypu do not need to confront your abuser to heal.
You do not need to let go of your emotions to heal.
Hell, you do not even need to have access to the direct memories of trauma in order to heal.
Healing is about YOU. It's about your feelings, your actions, your life. All of the consequences of abuse are woven into your life already; it doesn't matter what the abuser says or does, because healing from abuse is not about getting some sort of new and improved all-knowing attitude and a healthy relashionship with whoever hurt you. It's about taking those patterns which currently hurt you in their place and letting them go.
And if anyone tells you otherwise, fuck em.

Arguments III
Hardersson x Child!Reader
Part of the Big Adventures Universe
Summary: You get put in the naughty corner
Tumblr media
Magda watches as you rage but still don't move from your spot.
You scream and cry and throw your little limbs around but you do not move away from the corner Pernille has put you in. You stubbornly sit in it as you sob and screech and kick your feet out.
Magda has to turn away from your tear stained face and the little grabby hands you reach out to her when you catch her looking.
Pernille is still in the kitchen, cutting up some broccoli and completely ignoring the way you're screeching a few feet away.
"Pernille-"
"No, Magda."
"You don't even know what I'm going to say."
"I do." Pernille turns. "You're going to say to give her a hug and a kiss and tell her that it's all alright. Well, it's not and she knows actions have consequences."
A few minutes ago, you had gotten very angry. You'd woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and had been clingy and whingy all day. You had to have attention on you at all times. You had to have one of your mothers holding you at all times.
You'd been like that when you got home as well.
Magda had been keeping you occupied with a game while Pernille started on dinner but out of nowhere, you pivoted to want Pernille's attention. She told you to wait a bit until she was done with her food prep.
You hadn't liked that and shrieked at her.
Pernille told you if you did that again then you'd go to the naughty corner.
You shrieked again and knocked all of Pernille's cut-up chicken onto the floor.
Pernille put you in the naughty corner.
Which was how you found yourself now.
"But don't you think she's been there enough?" Magda asks," Pernille, she's crying."
"She's crying because she's not gotten her way," Pernille replies dismissively," She's been in the naughty corner before, Magda. She knows that acting out like the means time there."
"Pernille," Magda insists," She's learnt her lesson. Let her out."
"Magda," Pernille says in the exact same tone," If we take her out of the naughty corner early, it teaches her that she can cry her way out of things. That's not a good example to set with her."
"She's crying!" Magda continues," She's crying and she's distressed and you're being heartless!" She whips a finger to point in Pernille's face.
"I'm being heartless?!" Pernille scoffs," Well, forgive me Magda, for not handing everything our child wants to her! You're being soft!"
"She's a baby! Our baby-"
"She's not been a baby for a few years! She's perfectly capable of learning that actions have consequences. You're trying to teach her bad habits!"
"You're being cruel, Pernille! You just set her down and ignored her! How does she know that you still love her, huh? How does she know that you've forgiven her?!"
"Don't question my parenting! I'm the one that disciplined her when you were away! Me! Not you! I know how to look after her!"
The argument continues and neither of them have noticed that you've stopped crying.
Your head moves like a ping pong ball between them as one starts speaking over the other.
You're not meant to get up out of the naughty corner until either Momma gives permission or you've stopped crying.
Momma hasn't given permission but you have stopped crying and you don't like the way Momma and Morsa are yelling at each other, looking seconds away from pushing the other like they do to people on the pitch.
You head over, wiping away your tears with the back of a hand.
You pull on both of their hands, silencing the argument as they both turn to look down at you.
"I'm sorry, Momma," You say to Pernille because that's what you've always been taught.
The naughty corner is time to reflect and think about your actions and why they were wrong. Apologies mean that you've thought about them and you know why you were put there.
Pernille falls to one knee and gently wipes the remnants of tears off of your face. "And what are you sorry about?"
"For not waiting," You reply," And for throwing the food on the floor."
"Uh-huh," Pernille says," Thank you for saying you're sorry, princesse. Me and Morsa forgive you."
You nod. "Can I go play in my room?"
Pernille glances at the clock. "Dinner will be ready in half an hour. Don't start a long game."
"Okay!"
You hurry up the stairs and Pernille turns to Magda again, sighing.
"I don't like arguing with you," She says," But you've got to trust me. I know what works with her and what doesn't."
Magda sighs too, looking away briefly before meeting Pernille's eyes. "I don't like arguing either. It's just hard, you know? I don't like watching her cry and doing nothing."
One side of Pernille's mouth perks up. "It goes against every mum instinct you have, doesn't it?"

DISMISSING THE 3D
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
in the loass community, "ignoring" the 3D is a very common phrase, but i find that this often leads to confusion and stress. i think that a much better phrase for it is "dismissing the 3D."
your inner man responds to feelings. your inner man doesn't have eyes; it cannot see your 3D. and your thoughts (dominant or not) do not manifest. your inner man doesn't care what your conscious mind is thinking: it cares about your state.
your 3D is a manifestation of your previous state. your 3D doesn't look the way it does right now because of any thoughts you've had, it looks that way because it is reflecting your dwelling state. so how do you change your 3D? by changing your dwelling state.
you don't need to ignore your 3D, you need to dismiss it.
an example i'm going to use is one i've been getting a lot of questions about: you're living in your parents house in the 3D, but you're manifesting moving into your own place. how do you ignore the 3D?
you wake up in your old bed every day, in your old bedroom. you go to your old bathroom and take a shower in your old shower. you go to your old kitchen and do your old dishes and eat your old food. your parents talk to you and tell you you need to clean your old house. you sit down for family dinner at your old dining room table and talk about the things you did in your old house that day. then you sit down with your parents on your old couch and watch a movie on your old tv before going to sleep in your old bed in your old bedroom.
how are you supposed to ignore the 3D when you are constantly witnessing it? how are you supposed to not think about your current 3D when you are constantly dealing with it?
because you don't need to ignore your 3D, you need to dismiss it.
as i mentioned earlier, your subconscious is blind. your thoughts don't manifest. neither of these things are going to effect your manifestation. the only thing that will effect your manifestation is your state.
THE INNER MAN
let's take a little detour to talk about the inner man (i promise it's relevant)
what is the inner man? it's YOU. it's who you identify as, and it's who you are in your imagination. so when you imagine something, you are giving whatever you imagine to your inner man. your inner man is experiencing your 4D.
your outer man is the YOU who is experiencing your 3D. your outer man lives in your outer world, and your inner man lives in your inner world. however, there is no separation between your inner man and your outer man.
as Neville says, "where I shall go in imagination, I shall go in the flesh as well." you must give your inner man your desire first in your inner world, and then your outer world will follow. you cannot skip step one.
this is what i like to do: i give myself my manifestation in my imagination. still using the above example, we'll simply say "there. my inner man lives in my desired apartment right now."
now my inner man is living in my desired apartment. i made a little post about how i like to view my inner man as a little, doll-like version of myself inside of me, but it is not actually separate from you. my favorite way of dismissing the 3D and shifting myself back to my desired state when something in my 3D shakes me is by reminding myself that my inner man already is/has what i want to be/have.
so, still using the same example, if i were to feel myself slip out of my desired state while manifesting my dream apartment--say that i was dwelling in the fact that in my 3D, i have to do chores at my parent(s) house--i'd remind myself that my inner man is already living in my dream apartment/house and that nothing i see or do in my 3D can change that.
there is a difference between dealing with your 3D and identifying with your 3D. in the example i just gave, i could've allowed my actions in the 3D--doing chores--tell me that my desire was never going to manifest because my 3D was showing me the opposite. i could've let myself dwell in the state of lack. instead, we recognized the 3D for what it is: a reflection of our previous dwelling state.
there's this comment i read on the Neville Godard subreddit that I really loved. it said: "the best advice i can give you is stop worrying about what your subconscious is going to think of what you're doing."
your assumptions manifest. what you do in your 3D is completely irrelevant unless you identify with it. your subconscious is not gonna see you doing chores at your parent's house and think that that means you don't live in your desired apartment/house. your subconscious mind doesn't have it's own opinions or ideas on what things in your 3D mean.
for example, say you wash your face and do your skincare every night, yet you are still dwelling in the state of having bad skin. which is going to manifest? your state, every single time. it's why that skincare product that everyone under the sun said helped clear their skin didn't work for you: you assumed it wouldn't.
if you negatively react to your 3D, that is an indicator you fell out of the state of the wish fulfilled. shift back to it, and then continue taking care of business. you're going to notice your 3D no matter what you do. your only job is to dismiss it, because you know it's not your true reality.
keep reminding yourself that your inner man already has your desire, and you're just chilling in your current 3D--no matter how opposite of the 4D it appears--until it catches up. your 3D is not permanent. you don't have to accept it as true.
the goal isn’t to ignore your 3D, it’s to let it pass without worrying about it.
an analogy that i read that i really liked was this: say you're in a disagreement with someone. they keep telling you that a song is sung by a specific artist, but you know for a FACT that it's actually sung by someone else. no matter what, they won't believe that you're right, and they're actually trying to convince YOU that THEY'RE right. but this is literally your favorite song, you know for a FACT who it's sung by, and it's not the person that they're saying. do you let them convince you that you're wrong, or do you stand firm in your belief?
that's how you should act in regards to your 3D. you know that you have your desire in your 4D. i mean, it's YOUR imagination and YOU'RE in control of it! you can have whatever you want in your own imagination! so are you gonna let your 3D tell you that you don't have your desire in your imagination? or are you gonna stand firm in the belief that you have your desire in your 4D?
that's all you need to do. you don't need to believe that you have your desire in your 3D, you just need to believe that you have your desire in your imagination. and you can control your imagination, so this should be super easy. give your desire to you inner man, and as long as you stay faithful to the fact that your inner man has your desire, your 3D will reflect this.

So various philosophers who play in the space of personal identity use a concept called quasi-memories, or "q-memories." Basically, these are memories that you have that someone lived through, though that someone may not have been you. If a ghost passed through you and you suddenly shared its recollection of a war battle, you wouldn't be remembering it (because it didn't happen to you), but you would be q-remembering it (because its a memory belief you have that did happened to someone). Notably all your actual memories are q-memories, since the requirement is just that it corresponds in the usual way memories do to an experience someone had, that someone could be you. But so are memories transplanted from someone else to you, the memories a perfect clone of you would have corresponding to "your" life, the memories a fused being would have of any of the beings it was formed from, etc. Its a good way of discussing the psychologies of beings over time without assuming they share identity.
Parfit makes the case that q-memories are among the important psychological connections that make up the sense of self we actually care about. Its because I have memories of my past self that I care about my past self (and think of them as my past self in a robust sense); the reason I might not feel a strong connection to my past infant self is because I don't share any memories with them. Whereas, if I suddenly split in two with each half sharing the same q-memories, each would have an equal claim to being a continuation of my old self.
More interesting for our purposes is a point Derek Parfit brings up somewhat offhandedly: "If I knew that I could q-remember other people's experiences, these beliefs would come to me in a more guarded form: for example, 'Someone—probably I—did that.' I might have to workout who it was." (Personal Identity, 1971). I imagine that, for just the same reasons memories are important for creating a sense of self I can identify with over time, someone who experienced q-memories from other people would have their sense of identity absolutely shattered.
Imagine it: you wake up, and find that you've passively absorbed the memories of everyone in your apartment block. You remember that you need to make it to your son's violin recital, grimacing at the thought of making him cry again like he did last time. You also remember that the kid is your neighbor's son, and that you've been annoyed for weeks by the sound of him practicing above your kitchen. You sit for a minute to work out if your the parent or the neighbor. This apartment your in only has the one bedroom, so its a safe bet that its not your kid.
You get up to make some bacon (your favorite breakfast food) but have to throw them away once the smell gets to you (you couldn't keep meat down since that visit to the abattoir in 6th grade). You look up at the mirror and step back in shock, thinking thats not right—and then stagger, as you remember 10 different faces that should be yours.
You grab your keys, thankful that the electronic keyfob will let you hear which car is yours. You pass a man in the hall. You feel crushing guilt—you've been cheating on him for two months now. You feel uncanny shock—you're looking at yourself! You feel annoyance—that tenant's been more insistent on getting the law involved over maintenance issues, and that might reveal how you've been using unlicensed contractors to skirt costs.
As you get in the car and try to remember which place you remember working is the one you work at, you wonder if you even need to go to work at all. After all, you suddenly know the lies and secrets of everyone in the building. It would take some time to work out whose lies and secrets they are, but still: You could sit back and live passively on the blackmail money. Almost as soon as the thought occurs to you, you're overtaken with panic. You remember all the panic everyone's felt over being discovered—you cant let anyone know your secrets!
Derek Parfit really missed his real calling of coming up with fucked up Thinker powergens. Or pitching short story ideas to Borges.

No, because I feel so bad for Morty. Like, let's put ourselves in Morty's shoes for a moment. You've already got all the basic stressors of being 14, insecurity, puberty, etc. Now, imagine having no friends for your whole life, then when you were 14, this random guy crashed into your house and he's apparently your grandpa and is now living here? Then he drags you on dangerous adventures and constantly manhandles and emotionally abuses you, your parents are emotionally neglectful and don't do much to stop this abuse. And he's really your first and only friend. It doesn't help that he always drags you out of school so you can never make any friends your age. Your literal only friend is your 70-year-old grandpa, and you're basically his only real close friend.
We know Rick is Morty's first and only friend with what Beth says in the first episode "Morty was having trouble in school way before my dad moved in, and the only influence I can see Rick having is that for the first time in his life...Morty has a friend." Not only that, but Rick's healing is HEAVILY dependent on Morty, and he relies on Morty to keep him stable (Look at Rickfending your Mort) Having anyone rely on you for their healing and emotional support is already a ridiculous and unfair responsibility to put on an adult, let alone a 14-year-old. And Morty SHOULD break free. Key word should. But it's hard. Rick is literally all he knows. He has emotionally neglectful parents, he never had any friends before Rick, and he and Summer don't really talk all too much, so Rick is really all he knows. And we know that his parents aren't a good example of a healthy relationship. So Rick is all he knows, bunched up with him not having any good frame of reference of what a healthy relationship is, it's gonna be hard to break free from the possibly biggest influence on your life. Imagine how hard it must be hard to even acknowledge that the relationship is unhealthy, much less break free from it. Even when he treats you horribly, even when he straight up says "What we had was abusive, don't you see?" all you can say is "Ok...so...what's the undercut?" Like you don't see the problem with it.
Then he walks out on you, adding a heavy dose of abandonment issues, we see this in the Jerrick Trap with Morty having a stronger reaction than everyone else to Jerricki leaving, everyone else just seemed mildly annoyed, meanwhile, Morty sounded like he was literally about to cry "They are my dad and grandpa! You can't just take them!" Even though you don't even think he cares about you, but you make peace with that. Now you just accept that he may not care about you. All you want is for him to stay by you. Because he's all you know, you place him on a pedestal, seeing him as "A super fucked-up god" (See Rickshank Redemption) So no wonder you see nothing wrong with it? Why would you? As long as he stays by you, everything feels like it will be fine. Giving you some twisted sense of comfort. All you need for him to stay by your side. Need. Not want. Need He needs you too. He relies on you for pretty much everything, here's some examples in the show, ahem, he relies on you to: Keep him stable, get him food, help him with pretty much everything, remind him to shower, help him heal, etc., etc., we could literally be here all day if I listed off all of them, and in the wise words of Jadien Animations, nobody should ever need you. They should want you. But you can't help it. This person is all you know.
Deep down, you probably know it's abusive, that it isn't good or healthy for either of you. But here's the thing.
You don't care.
You need him.
You know deep down that this won't do anyone any good in the long haul. But you don't care.
You need him even though it's damaging to you, like a drug.
It doesn't matter if it stops you from making other friends.
It doesn't matter how much it hurts your mental health.
It doesn't matter how many times he fucks with your mind.
All that matters is that you have him.
No matter what.

Ah I just found your role swap au and am going crazy with brainrot. You mentioned that vannessa, since moon isn’t an animatronic anymore, spread the virus to Starry first, how would they act once the virus takes over? And had the boys ever seen it happen? What would they even do in that scenario?
Someone having brainrot?? Over something I made? Honored am I. Thank you, I will definitely be making more, since I love them all.
Yes, you are correct! Going into this "virus timeline" I have for now, because I'm indecisive about adding this to the au (but I've given it a lot of thought) Vanny/Vanessa is going after Starry/you first as an experiment, then after the other's when she gets it right. Because of that, Starry's/your security form/mode is the only thing that is affected. You fine when everyone follows the rules, but when your programming forces you to use your security mode, let's say for an unruly parent for example, you would have no control over your actions. Only to follow your programming like a computer. It's not supposed to be like this. Your/Starry's security mode is only for giving you higher speed and strength to deal with intruders, unruly parents, or anyone breaking the Pizza Plex rules. But the virus kinda broke that code and now you're the one who's unruly.
This started before your humans begin working with you. You try to hide it as much as possible, your scared to scare them away. You care about them so much; you don't want to harm them. You've seen what you can do, how many children and staff you've hurt as just a back seat driver to your programing. It hurts to stop it. It's a wonder how you haven't been decommissioned. Sun, Moon, and Eclipse have not seen you this way. You've been lucky to either flee like a coward or it just not happening. Sun has gotten hurt a few times from the ruder (to put it lightly) parents, only being pushed and a few slaps. And boy, were you absolutely furious. But you couldn't do anything if you wanted them to be safe from you. So, you only frantically apologize, make them gifts (more like steal food, snacks, and drinks for Sun), and make sure he does as little possible work for the day. You can't help, because you could be worse.

hi hi mah!! how's it going? :0 it's been a while since i've been in your inbox i believe??? ;;
your mermaid au kind of just crossed my mind hgkdsjkl
i'm not sure if you've talked about it anywhere yet, but i'd love to know more about pirate ruggie and emergency food mermaid daisy if you don't mind!
I actually plan on making a post with info about each character that I deem important to this au, mainly the Savanaclaw boys (and girl, including my oc Jeanne) and mayhaps the Scarabia boys (...and girl again, including my oc Damali)! I have not posted more about it ever since the small comics but I definitely plan to!
Basically what you need to know about daiggie in this au is this:
- Ruggie is poor and was a street thieve trying to support him and his grandma (and the kids in his neighborhood) in the same kingdom that Leona's a prince of before Leona ultimately ran away and founded a pirate crew; he got recruited by Leona once he saw his abilities and diligence and was basically the first member of Leona's crew — Ruggie is also his first mate.
- Daisy's story is basically the same as her canon story, her parents dying and her being at the mercy of her stepmom, but obviously this all happens with her and her family being mermaids! Her stepmother always made a point for her to stay underwater (mixing elements of the little mermaid) but she was always fascinated with humans, her parents even telling her stories of having met kind and wonderful sailors, so one day she decided to be caught by a pirate crew in order to try and convince them to let her stay in their crew so she could escape her life in the sea.
- Daisy's real name, as I said before, is Eléa, but in this au instead of her giving herself the name Daisy, Ruggie is the one to give her that name. He tells her she kinda reminds him of a flower he knows and that he consumes quite often, and decides to call her that instead; the name sticks and before you know it she's not Eléa the mermaid anymore she's Daisy the pirate
- Daisy is tasked to be the navigator of the ship (due to her understanding of the sea) and to help Ruggie in his chores in the ship as payment to be a part of the crew
- there's like a running gag I created in my head that Daisy does not comprehend jokes with double meanings bc (and this is my personal headcanon) mermaids don't reproduce the same way humans do, so for example in her first time taking a bath Ruggie is tasked to help her and throughout the entire time he's just "for the love of everything DO NOT GET OUT OF THE TUB" and she. Doesn't understand why😭😭😭😭 it's funny in my head ok🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♀️
- also also the crew manage to get their hands on a potion that transforms the body of a mermaid into a human, it's illegal but since they're pirates and because Leona is the one in charge they're able to create a plan to get it; they do it because they need Daisy to move around on the ship and on land when they arrive at some countries for supplies
For now that's all I can think of!! I want to expand more on it tho

So what is middle class culture?
Some may say food plays a big part. A knowledge of food, how to eat it what fork to use. What's considered impressive. But I would argue that the focus on food is part of a larger whole. There Is a focus on quality in middle class culture. That extends to food, wine and even carpets. It's about seeking out things of a higher quality, knowing where they are, how to find them, how to access them, and what to do with them once you have them. The middle classes aren't wasteful. They'll spend more on carpets or clothes or furniture, but they tend to look after them. They learn how to care for them and keep them looking nice. They buy things as investment. I'll spend more on this table as I'll look after it and it will look nice for the next 20 years. It will Last.
There is also a lot of focus on experience. They want to experience good tasting food and they want to tell other people about it. They want to experience art and high brow music and theatre and discuss it. They want to be familiar with the rest of the world. They may be interested in travel and will get involved in trips that result in a story. Climbing mountains, seeing the wonders, tourist snippets of extreme sports. They want their children to have the same. And that's where the middle class focus on education comes in. They often push their children. From a young age they're thinking about opportunity. They want their kids to learn an instrument, a language, to pad out a university application in a decade. They seek out good schools. In the UK, middle class families hire tutors and buy practice books to try and help their children get entry to grammar schools. There is a belief, amongst the middle classes, that social mobility is possible. They want their kids to have the best shot at a good job, a good degree, a good life with even more than their parents had.
The arts are a big part of middle class culture. Theatre vs cinema. Galleries vs street art. Orchestra vs pub gigs. Sometimes you need money to access these, but sometimes you need something else. The social connections to be invited. But more importantly, a sense to the other people at these events that you belong. It's not something you actively learn, it's something that you pick up on as you grow up around adults that belong in these places. It's about what you wear, what you say and how you say it, how you behave in these places. It's not impossible to learn, many working class people do, but for us it's something that needs to be learnt whereas if you've grown up middle class, you often fit in automatically without even registering that it's something that could be learnt
If you've had a middle class upbringing, that is going to be a benefit, whether that privilege followed you in to adulthood or not (the safety net is not avaliable to all, some people's parents can't or aren't willing to help them) and this is a weird one. Because this privilege also in part applies to people raised working class by parents that aspired to be middle class. And it applies to people raised in middle class areas, or in wealthy cities where the poor have access to cultural experiences like galleries and museums and theatre for example.
So if you grew up middle class but are poor now, what are you? When born in to a middle class family, as an adult you won't necessarily benefit financially. A lot of people in the current job market are in this position. They are struggling to get the jobs they've been working towards. They are taking lower paid jobs, they are struggling to get by. This does not automatically make you working class. If you are one of these people, now working in a working class job and renting the only place you can afford, but you still benefit from loans/ gifts from parents if you ask. You have the option to move back home. You have the option to 'sell out' and let your parents help you find a job or work for the family business. Then you fall in to a grey area. You are undoubtedly MORE working class than your parents. You might one day be working class. But with that safety net, you are not yet working class. Because you still have that tie to a middle class life. This is what I'd call an emerging subsection of the middle classes. It's something that's happening to an increasing number of people. You're the lowest level of middle class but while you have that access, that safety net, you are not yet working class. Of course, without that safety net. Say your parents no longer live that lifestyle. Or don't grant you access to it. Or aren't in your life, you could be. It's a discrete difference but an important one.
Finally, it's about connections. Knowing how to make them. Knowing how to present a version of yourself that appeals to a person who is also looking to make connections to advance themselves.

more child sole lmao how would the companions react to kid sole just. fuckin biting someone. in self-defense, yeah, but there are still several other ways they could defend themselves they just choose teeth
Maccready
"No! We don't put anything but food in our mouths. Okay?"
As a parent it's a conversation he's had many times, usually when Duncan tried to eat a comic book or stuffing from his teddy bear, so sole bitting into a raider was new territory for him he'll admit. He's hoping the same parenting technique works, because truth be told he's exhausted and out of ideas.
Hancock
"Now I'm not sure if I took psycho and just don't remember it, or if you did... either way this might sound hypocritical coming from me, but you are way to young for drugs...."
Once they had told him no they were not on his chems he would talk to them about why it's not okay to go feral ghoul on people and just take a chomp outta them.... Truth be told he'd done it a few times, but like he said he's a hypocrite, and he was trying to set a good example here.
Cait
"That's it! Make em' pay!"
Its a good thing sole was prewar. Cait had seen her for share of people bite off more than they can chew and ending up losing a tooth. Dental care isn't exactly great in the wastes, but this little shit has teeth of steel perfect for chomping and chomp they shall.
Danse
"Absolutely not acceptable soldier! You are part of the brotherhood, not a common scavver, you can't go around biting people."
He'd sound like an angry dad the entire time. He'd lecture sole the whole way back to the prydwen/police station about ethics and what is and isn't acceptable in hand to hand combat

"While I know you were in quite the pickle there, please do not bite people! You could get many unwanted diseases"
Shes very concerned about soles health both mental and physical, but for the moment she's more concerned about them becoming ill, and is to stunned to try and tackle the mental this very instant.

"I'm guessing you're a little behind on your rabies shots? Did you know rabies is one of the most deadly illnesses? Its said once you start experiencing symptoms its already to late..... welp guess you're screwed"
If he had successfully spooked sole with the rabies lie he'd call it a day, but if they rolled their eyes and didn't belive him he'd keep trying to sell them the whole rabies thing until he felt they were efficiently scared. He's of the opinion if someone traumatizes you, you traumatize them right back. He never though a child could creep him out this much, but holy shit being bitten by a crazed child was now on deacons top 10 fears list. Safe to say he's either sleeping with one eye open, or duck taping the little piranha's mouth shut before bed.

"Blue! We do not bite people... If they weren't already dead I'd consider making you apologize! Now please for the love of everything, spit that out"
She'd be disgusted. Did Sole know where that had been? And if they did, did they really want it in their mouth? Yuck.
Nick
"Now why would you do that... I cant imagine commonwealth cuisine could ever taste good let alone raw....come on let's get you cleaned up... got a bit of raider stuck in your teeth"
Maniacal beeping is one thing, but chewing down on some low lives is another, beyond the part where it's just plain gross its also not the most morally sound way of dealing with threats either...
Preston
"Uhhh you've got blood.... in your teeth?"
A child going feral was not apart of what he had planned today give him a minute to ground himself. Preston's internally freaking out, because what the fuck just happened!?

"That was lazy Sir/Ma'am. Next time you get close enough to bite someone, try sticking your thumbs in their eye socket instead... trust me it's far more effective.... and far more satisfying"
He's done it before...

Sindria's Prophet #08
[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [AO3]
** TW/suicide of family member implied (it is marked ahead with ((text)) so you know what to skip) ~POV shift Mori~ In my old life I had spent 4 or so years as a historical reenactor for the mid 1700's through early 1800's on my weekends. My group mainly acted as pirates/privateers and sang sea shanties. We had done performances on different ships, but every time we were invited onto a period ship I couldn't make it, so I was geeking out when I saw the ship we'd be taking to Sindria. I prayed it didn't show on my face. Sure it was exciting for an other world's nerd like me to get to see a ship like this in use, but to everyone else it was a normal ship. The ship had two masts -both square rigged with a fore and aft sail at the back for better steering. Considering the reputation for the waters around Sindria I expected a bigger three mast ship for strength, but who was I to judge?
Tumblr media
With only two masts, this ship probably only needed a crew of about nine people to allow for different shifts. It didn't look like it had room for many passengers. No doubt, Sinbad didn't expect to be bringing four extra people back with him. I was in full on research mode by the time I got on the ship, and I tired my best to not stand out or get in the way. Getting to look up at the rigging from on the deck was an experience. After everyone was settled I'd definitely make a point to look around more. I might even take one of the scrolls out and try drawing the deck of the ship since I never got around to drawing that gorgeous room in the hotel. I considered myself lucky that no one tried to talk to me until the rooms were being divided out -I had been hyperfixating so I might not have even noticed if they did.
Tumblr media
Studying the ship could only boost me for so long. About 15 minutes before we left the port I could no longer ignore that my head was throbbing from exhaustion. This headache was undeniably becoming a migraine if it wasn't one already. I decided that sleep was the next thing on my agenda. Luckily, I made that decision around the same time the rooms were being divided out. I had figured I'd end up in the same room as Alibaba, Aladdin and Morgiana, but Alibaba was put in the same room as Ja'far and Masrur. Everyone put their bags down, and headed back on deck except me. I sat on my bed with my head in my hands as I started to let myself fully calm down. In the quiet it hit me just how much I had been using working on the scrolls as a way to avoid thinking about my guilt and lost home. I'd have to find time when no one else was in the room to work through these feelings. There was no way I could keep it bottled up until we reached Sindria. "Excuse me, Miss Mori?" Aladdin had re-entered the room and closed the door. We might not have been formally introduced but he was told who I was. "What is it?" I lifted my head to look at him, and tried to keep my expression positive. I felt the waves rising. A Magi was talking to a Prophet in private; something was bound to happen. The walls of the ship creaked, and I heard steps and the floor boards creak in the hallway. The wave got a little bigger. Silence hung in the air as the boy just stood there. Instead of trying to guess what he wanted I waited. His hands tightened around his staff. Aladdin looked nervous as he confronted me. "I know you say you've read Fate, but I don't think Fate is something written in stone. It's something that everyone makes together. It can always change." The hallway floor creaked behind the Magi again. The wave was getting bigger. Someone was definitely listening in, and there was only one King that was a chronic eavesdropper.
Tumblr media
"I agree," I said bluntly. I wanted Sinbad to hear my answer. Ten years ago, he came to the conclusion that Fate was something already written as a way to cope with his guilt and trauma, and he thought he was 'the chosen one' for being able to read ahead through the waves, but he was wrong on both accounts. "You do?” Aladdin was surprised. It must sound weird coming from someone who read Fate. "I've read more than one Fate for this world, so I know there is no one true path." The manga, anime and OVAs were a little different after all. "And if Fate couldn't be changed then I couldn't be here." I turned so I was sitting facing him. "You see, I wasn't in any of the Fate I read. I wasn't even in this world until five days ago." The magi took a few steps towards me with wide eyes. Aladdin had felt very alone for not being from this world -now he would know he wasn't the only one. It wasn't a reveal that caused problems on its own when Aladdin explained in the original so I didn't see an issue in letting Sinbad overhear about me either- I had already implied as much the previous day. I felt the need to elaborated. "Everything I do changes the Fate I read because I wasn't here. For example, only one of the Fates I read showed the conversation where you all found out about the Kou Fleet. Remember how I yelled at Alibaba? If I didn't convince him to leave then King Sinbad would have knocked him out, and Alibaba would be kept asleep with medicine for this whole trip. Since I was there this time, I was able to change that." "Oh!" He brightened up a bit. "I much prefer things this way." "I agree. Like this it will be much easier for him to heal." I looked down at my intertwined hands. "I have no idea how this will change the Fate I read though." Aladdin hummed a question mark, but he didn't say or ask anything directly. I answered the obvious question to my words, "I can't read a Fate that I'm a part of, so now that I'm here I can't read how my actions are changing Fate. Eventually, the Fate I did read will become useless, and I have no idea if I'm changing it for the better." It was only as I said it that I remembered that Sinbad was listening. I had basically just told him that my usefulness as his Prophet would have a definite expiration date. All I had wanted was to let Aladdin know that he might not be able to rely on me for everything. I definitely wasn't thinking clearly. Aladdin cut into my thoughts. "Is that why the Rukh are so active around you? Because you weren't originally a part of the Flow of Fate?" "Probably." I didn't know what else to say. I knew I had to be making distinctive waves in the Rukh just by being here, let alone with all of my changes. "Miss Mori, where are you from?" I hummed in amusement at that. "I'm from much farther away than you or your parents-if you can believe it." I was from the same world as the person who wrote the original Fate of this world. There was no way I could tell anyone that. He was shocked again. It was written all over his face that he was questioning if I was really from a dimension farther away than Alma Torran. Aladdin gripped the flute that he always wore. "Then... Are you the person he didn't recognize?" "He?" Which 'he' -oh. I lowered my voice. "Ugo?" I put one finger over my lips and looked at the door. Sinbad has to remain ignorant about the Sacred Palace; he's too self-absorbed. Aladdin looked confused at my change in volume. He followed my gaze to the door and back then nodded. He didn't look all that surprised that I knew about Ugo. I kept my voice low. "Aladdin, let's talk more about this some other time. The walls have ears on such a small ship. And I'm exhausted." "Okay. Rest well, Miss Mori." Aladdin spoke at normal volume. I heard a scramble in the hallway, the magi left, and I put my glasses in the top of my bag for safe keeping. I could hear Aladdin through the wall. "Oh! Mr. Sinbad, Mr. Ja'far, did you want to check on Miss Mori too?” "Uh, yes. How is she doing?” Was King Sinbad's response. I could hear the nerves he was trying to
cover up. "Real smooth there, Sin." I mumbled as I finally drifted into unconsciousness. --- I was a young man of 20 some years. I had started a family. We didn't have enough money for food. I ended up taking a risky job because I knew it would pay better. ... No. I'm a six year old girl? I don't remember if I had parents, but I remember going to visit this old dog every day. ... If life was hard, and I had nothing to loose then there was no reason not to bet everything I had on one last round. How could I return to my family without money? The last time I saw my son he was three. Would he even remember me? ... Ya know, when you grow up with someone and everyone else can see your chemistry you'd think it would be obvious that we'd marry when we grew up, but she met someone else. ... I knew things were bad, but I never even considered that my neighbor was stealing from me when I was at work. Bastard stabbed me with my own kitchen knife when I caught him. --- I wasn't myself in my dreams. Every time I woke I had to ground myself and remember where and when I was. Rereading the scrolls I had made helped. Just how many Rukh had merged with me, and why? I had no connections to any of those spirits while they were alive. Was it just because ghosts like me? I wrote down every dream I had; their lives might have been over, but they were a part of me now. I was too exhausted to go on deck, and I could feel that there were still more lives inside of me that I had to get aquatinted with. When I wasn't sleeping, I was working on scrolls again since I at least had enough energy to write and draw. My breathing was getting difficult, and I was struggling with temperature regulation. I wasn't okay enough to tell if it was my body struggling with the changes in my magoi, like when Sinbad took in all the Rukh after the Fall of First Sindria, or if I was just sick. After making sure I could still use magoi manipulation I decided that it was probably the later. I mainly left that room for food, and I waited until almost everyone was done before going. I avoided talking to others too. If I was sick I needed to minimize my contact with others. Alibaba seemed to be in a similar state to me. We both found that staying near each other when around the others made them less likely to approach us with the depressing cloud that hung over us.
Tumblr media
Those that did see me could obviously tell I was unwell. From their words it seemed like they were assuming I was just mourning -they were only half wrong. It gave me an easy excuse to leave, so I never corrected them. I did feel bad for worrying everyone. The whole situation sucked. I wanted to cry. I had been in lock down back home because of Covid-19 for 8 months as an at risk person (it's still Oct 2020 in this story). I was literally in a fantasy anime world now. I wasn't given a better immune system, but my boobs didn't need a bra anymore??? WTF?? If the current arbiter of Fate was me writing fanfiction, then they had a lot of explaining to do. ... Who was I kidding? I knew why I would write something like this. I wanted to see more stories about people like me -someone with my disabilities and life experiences- get to be someone "valued" even if they couldn't be on the front lines. My migraine wouldn't go away, and it wasn't the only part of me in pain. I think I got palpitations a few times -breathing was even worse during those episodes. If I hadn't had health problems growing up I probably would have been panicking. I knew it was stupid to not tell anyone what was going on with me. But would anyone even be able help me on a ship? Telling them would just make them worry more than they already were. Aladdin and Morgiana could tell something more was wrong with me; I couldn't fully hide from them while sleeping in the same room. They must have let the others know since they gave me some pain killers at some point. It tasted awful. I'm honestly not sure how affective it was, but it did knock me out. ((Skip to the next paragraph to avoid the trigger)) At least I was left alone most of the time. I had no choice but to sit with my thoughts about Balbadd. I grew up mourning. The blood on my hands might not be the same as losing most of my loved ones back home, but it was damn similar to when I was in high school thinking "if only one of us had answered the phone that day." The Balbadd revolt would have been much worse if I wasn't there. And even if I had said something sooner there was little that could be done to actually stop Al Thamen when they had their hands so deep in that country. Even with Sinbad there to sway Fate, Al Thamen would still find a way to spill blood. Even if I told Alibaba days in advance and he tried to talk to Cassim about it, Cassim wanted nothing to do with Sinbad, so any help that came from him would be refused. Cassim was twisted around Issnan's fingers and out for blood. I did the best I could. My actions did save some people. I'd have to take solace in that. --- I woke up to something wrapped around me, almost like I was tied down. I couldn't move my legs. I gave up trying to untangle my skirt and covers from me, and just pulled the skirt out from under the cloth belt -kicking the whole mass off like a cocoon. I had put my underwear on underneath and I still had the tunic on so I wasn't left totally uncovered. Star light shown in from the window. I had slept through another day. I couldn't remember my dream. Maybe I had finally returned to having my own dreams. The other beds in the room were occupied. My head was still swimming. I felt trapped. I needed something. I heard the waves outside, and felt the waves of Fate washing over me. Their sounds called to me. Back home I had used the sounds of waves to meditate and stim regularly. I had been hearing them all this time, but I wanted to see them. I didn't bother to slip on my flip-flops as I made my way to the door, didn't even think about grabbing my glasses until I was already on deck. It had been so dark below that I couldn't see anyway, and didn't realize I wasn't wearing them. The wave of Fate I had been following lead me farther into the space. When I hit it's end, the adrenaline that had got me that far died out. The night air hit my legs and I shivered. It was colder than it was at night in Balbadd. I thought we were heading south. Did I still have a fever? The cold reminded me that I really should have put on
my shorts or something before coming out here. The tunic just barely covered me. My vision was going grey scale. This was bad. Really bad. I recognized this feeling. I was about to pass out from not being able to breathe right. I used to have fainting spells as a kid because of my weak raspatory system and needed to carry smelling salts for a few years. The last time it happened was about five years ago -I had been really sick. My head was throbbing; my heart was pounding. Guess I was sicker than I thought. I needed to focus on breathing and getting to the ground. I stumbled to the bowsprit (the pole that sticks out the front of the ship) as support. I needed to get to the ground safely before I collapsed. I'd gotten a concussion once because I didn't get down before the black out hit. A wave crashed into me from behind. If I hadn't been putting all my weight on that wooden shaft I would have been pushed over even though it wasn't a physical wave. What in the world was behind me that would cause such a wave? I removed one arm to look back as my knees started to give out. There was definitely someone there. Their color balance didn't match anything I could remember, but they were really familiar. Without my glasses I couldn't really tell anything -especially since everything was becoming different shades of black. And I already had bad night vision. The light was fading. Shapes were getting harder to discern. Even though I was breathing deeper I hadn't managed to counter the fainting spell. I was going down. I definitely fell, but it didn't feel like I fell for long enough to hit the ground. The feeling across my back was really familiar. Someone had caught me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sometimes I was able to stay conscious when I fainted. It was kinda like ending up in sleep paralysis but with a -20 to all sensory inputs. Seemed like this was one of those times. I couldn't hear what they were saying or see them. It was like my head was deep under water. There was a pressure on my forehead. Were they checking my temperature? When someone faints you're supposed to lay them on the ground and position them so they can breath easier. This person didn't take first aid classes or forgot or something because I was being lifted upwards instead of laid down. It was really warm and comfy though. I liked this feeling. What was it? Safe? Was that it? I hadn't felt actually safe in a long time. I certainly didn't feel safe in that house back home even after everything was over. Maybe it was the feeling of warmth and safety. Maybe it was the way the waves were moving. Maybe it was the numbness that comes with blacking out. But whatever it was had stopped the pain. With the pain gone I calmed the rest of the way. I felt my spine straighten out onto a soft surface. The warmth faded even though something was now covering my legs. I was in a bed. The cold was back without a source of warmth to leech from. I definitely had a fever if I was this cold. Damnit. I grew up with all sorts of chronic health conditions and have always gotten sick easily. Even though I was now in an anime world, I was still me. Was I going to die in this world from some common illness that was already cured back home? We might not have had a lot of money back home but I was lucky enough to get a job with usable health insurance that let me work from home during a pandemic. I could at least get medicine every time I got a normal illness. I was finally able to afford to get and keep an inhaler. Not that any of that was of use to me now. My motor functions were returning. I rolled to the side and curled into the fetal position. I had lost everything. No home. No friends or family. Who would want to look after a stranger with nothing to give back? I was doing what I could to seem worthy of the main cast, but how long would that last? The story would reach its end in five years. What would I do after that? What was the point of all of the savings I had managed to make back home if I was going to be Isekaied? I had been the main bread winner and now my family couldn't even use my savings because I hadn't left a body behind as proof that I had died. All of the thoughts and feelings I was still running from were flooding through me. I couldn't even distract myself with writing scrolls or anything. This was probably for the best. Pushing things away for much longer would be unhealthy. And if I couldn't let myself feel miserable when I was sick and alone, then when could I? I let the tears fall. I hadn't been a loud crier since I was a kid, so I was caught off guard when I could hear my own sobs. I didn't have it in me to hide any more. The bed I was on creaked but I hadn't moved. There was a new weight on the mattress.
I wasn't alone.
The concept that someone was checking on me hurt harder. I didn't grow up in a healthy environment, so now feel immense guilt when someone shows me genuine kindness. But I am also aware and recovered enough to know I deserve kindness, so the guilt always paired with an equal amount or more of relief. I felt a hand stroke my hair. They wanted to comfort me. And I wanted comfort. The waves washing over me encouraged me seek out more. I used what little strength I had to pull myself against them. Having undeniable proof that I wasn't alone and that someone cares was overwhelming. The relief made me cry harder. I'd have to thank them later. But for the time being I'd pour out as much emotion as they'd let me.

BB: welcome back everyone! So good to see you all here today! We're back for a 3rd time here on BB Channel! Like before we're joined by the lil cuties of Ed and Mari. But this time their parents have come to join!
Rex: hello...
Quetz: Hola!
BB: that wasn't a very strong greeting Rex!
Rex: I'm tired right now. Can't this wait?
BB: time waits for no one and neither does BB!
Mari: already this is super annoying! *sigh* so why'd you decide to bring them into this anyways?
BB: the people who follow this blog need to see how they're doing so long after Chaldea too! You two have had the spotlight for a while, so now you should share.
Ed: I mean... guess that's fair.
Mari: should anyone be dealing with this?
Rex: I'd rather not be here either.
BB: aaaww, don't be like that! This will be fun!
Quetz: that's a very hard sell BB.
BB: just humor me at least.
Rex: ...fine
Quetz: what are we even doing anyways?
BB: some of your interdimensional buds have sent in questions about how you guys are doing, and I'm here to get those answers for them!
Quetz: that actually sounds nice...
BB: what'd I tell ya!?
Rex: yeah yeah, pls get started.
BB: fine. First few are from my precious bombardier beetle! First one she asks: do you have any pets?
Mari: oof! Do we!
Rex: currently we have four dogs: 1 German Shepherd named King, a Pitbull named Sparks, a Dogo Argentino named Duke, and a Corgi named Marshmallow.
Quetz: but also we have a habit of adopting older dogs who aren't likely to get a home because of their age or rescues to give them a nice place to stay.
BB: aaawww, well ain't that wholesome?
Mari: we also have mom's bigass pterosaur!
BB: less wholesome. Next one from my dear yellowjacket: favorite foods?
Rex: PIZZA!
Mari: CAKE!
BB: whoa! Pump the brakes you two! No need to get too excited!
Quetz: ...honestly? I don't really have a favorite food. Just a bunch I like to eat and some I don't. If I had to choose, I'd say chocolate.
Ed: I'm a steak man myself.
BB: 2 sweets, and 2 savories. Next up! Who wakes up earliest?
Rex: Quetz
Ed and Mari: Mom
Quetz: ...I guess it's me... hehehe.
BB: honestly I'm not surprised. She's so damn athletic and even used to be a professional.
BB: next! Where do you all like to go for vacations and such?
Ed: mom and dad have a vacation home in Alaska.
BB: Alaska?! Why?
Mari: when warm weather is the norm for you it's nice to go to the cold to change things up.
Rex: yeah, it's actually very nice. Not too many people and beautiful nature sights.
BB: well to each their own. Another from my dear antlion: how long does it take to pick a movie or TV show to watch?
Quetz: hehehe, we're all so indecisive it takes ages to pick. It's not uncommon for us to give up after taking so long.
BB: you should work on that. This next one's interesting. My precious army ant also suggests a round of common household jobs and the like from each member.
Rex: hmmm
BB: she gave an example of like, who does the cooking?
Quetz: well it's both me and mi amor in that case. The kids aren't very creative.
Ed: hey! We're plenty creative!
Mari: no we're not, don't lie.
Rex: we only really ask that the kids clean their rooms and any messes they make. We handle most everything else.
BB: they should really show some independence tho. Can't coddle them forever.
BB: in the next one, Cadence asks about a house tour and if there's a jacuzzi.
Quetz: a house tour feels like it should be it's own thing.
Rex: yeah, but we do have a jacuzzi dude, so don't worry.
BB: next one's from Reen: she asks what would life be if you weren't in chaldea,
Rex: y'mean like now? I mean... it's a relatively normalish domestic life? With less work tho.
Quetz: si, I've made plenty from my lucha career before retirement we don't have to worry about money much. But mi amof still makes money just in case.
BB: well after that she asks: how was your life before and after meeting each other?
Rex: ...kinda sad. Aside from chaldea and saving the world, I was kinda just... stagnant. Go to work, go home and so on. Not much to my life before then.
Quetz: ...honestly, for me it was the same. After the age of Gods ended we didn't do much of anything. We mostly watched over humanity, I've been summoned in modern day before but that was rare and infrequent.
Rex: ...after I met Quetz tho... I dunno things felt... better? She kinda forced her way into my life after I summoned her and... I was more then ok to accept her... before long we had something beautiful...
Quetz: aww, mi amor! I'm so happy to hear that!
BB: ain't that sweet? Like me and my dear centipede. Final one from Reen: if you could build a dream home then where? (Can be in fantasy)
Rex: I mean... where we are now is good.
Mari: yeah, right at the border of a huge rainforest in the Yucatan sounds fine.
Ed: but what about the fantasy bit?
Quetz: hmmm... we don't really look at fantasy much. But maybe a castle of some kind?
Rex: or a Mayan temple? But with electricity and Wi-Fi.
BB: that's fair. Need those memes in your life. Now some from Kaz! First she asks: what kind of gifts do you give each other?
Rex: uuhh, well I like getting mi corazon custom things. Like some personal clothes, or even a portrait of the two of us.
Quetz: ehehehe, I like to spoil mi amor with extravagant things! Golden treasure and the like!
Mari: concerning...
BB: next, how would you spend the day if it's raining outside?
Rex: I actually enjoy rainy weather, so I like to chill near a window or even on the porch listening to the rain.
Mari: it's very soothing.
BB: how quaint. Last one from Kaz: whose good at cooking and baking?
Quetz: hehehe, that'd be me. Tho it might be considered cheating since I use my goddess power to help.
Mari: well no one else is the greatest normally so it's fine.
BB: a good 'ol better then nothing kinda attitude! Now we're back to Cadence but with more relaxed questions: what's the current house look like?
Rex: ....big.
Mari: like three stories tall with a DEEP basement.
Ed: like... 5 rooms too many.
Quetz: we also have an indoor pool.
Rex: the outside looks almost gothic, but partially taken over by nature.
BB: all this near a rainforest?
Quetz: si! Despite the size, all the nearby trees still tower over it.
BB: nature can get scary. I've seen worse and have been worse but still. Another one: how do family events function? Any specific holidays?
Quetz: ...most family events are just us... going somewhere nice to eat nice food...
Rex: do they mean bringing extended family? My family lives too far to visit often
Quetz: ...and I'd rather not speak of mine... things have gotten rocky as of late.
Mari: right, well for holidays we celebrate most standard one, like Easter and valentine's and such. For October we kinda try to combine Halloween and Day of the dead.
Ed: but Christmas is the most important for us! Mom and Dad always make the biggest celebrations for Christmas!
BB: gotta love the holidays! Especially when your mom is santa... still weird to say that. Next one! Any plans for the future?
Rex: eh... not really? I mean I want to prepare Maria to continue the family magecraft, since Ed has no interest.
Mari: someone has to continue on this lost practice.
BB: good to know it won't be lost to time like we thought. Next one! Daily life?
Rex: I wake up, eat, work on magecraft, spend family time, spend time with Quetz, go to bed.
Quetz: I wake up, workout, eat, workout, spend time with mi familia, lovely time with mi amor and then I sleep.
Ed: I wake up, take a walk, eat, practice soccer, spend family time, sleep.
Mari: sleep, sleep again, dragged to breakfast by mom, eat, eat again, mess with magecraft, eat, sit with everyone else, scroll thru my phone for hours, sleep.
Quetz: *sigh* mija, you need to change your priorities.
Mari: mmmmm... No.
BB: bad habits there Mari. Next they'd like to know if your in contact with anyone from chaldea? Other then me!
Rex: here's a real quick list: Marie, Mash, Kiara, Penth, Astraea, Martha, Ishtar, Gorgon, Jalter, The twins, your kids BB, etc etc.
Quetz: too many to list...
BB: nice you haven't lost contact! Next! About that Wedding?
Rex: well... it was eventful to say the least. Not long after completing the china LB. Most of the servants were invited, and most of Quetz's family showed up.
Quetz: si, Martha officiated it for us. Most of my family were so nice at the time... too bad that hasn't lasted.
Rex: let's not mention that...
BB: it was such a nice wedding! You two were so "nervous" you had trouble with your vows! How adorable!
Mari: why the quotes?
BB: no reason... now we're at the home stretch! Good 'ol Ash has some for stuff that technically hasn't happened yet, but you should still be able to answer! What responsibilities will Rex take on when he joins the pantheon?
Quetz: ...well he'll be largely a guardian of life on earth. Authority over things like the jungle itself, volcanos, and even snow... for some reason.
Rex: well it still snows in mexico... occasionally.
Quetz: and we'll be sharing authority over Venus! I wanted to share it with mi amor!
BB: cute! Hmmm, not sure if you cananswer this one just yet? Adjusting to God hood?
Rex: well I got to try it out a bit. Summoning lava and snow is... interesting. But also... my mind felt... odd... but also clearer? Not sure how to put it...
BB: I'm sure when you get there you'll get it... took me a bit after servant fest. And how did the other divinities react?
BB: actually I have some recordings of that to answer, so play the clip!
A screen appears showing recordings of some servants, one at a time.
Ishtar: eh! She's turning you into a god!? ...I guess you've earned it master...
Eresh: what!? Can you do that?! ...guess I won't see you in Kur... then again I don't think you have any link to Kur anyways.
Kama: do you really think your cut out for it? I mean... if it's just for you two to be together then I guess it's fine.
Astraea: godhood is a very big responsibility master. Are you certain you're up to it? Saving humanity is also a big task but at least that has an end point. This is... eternal.
Qin: oh! So you have decided to go for immortality after all?! Tho not the same as my methods, it is still good to see you two will be happy together!
Scathach: immortality? I've strived for death for so long... to see you go for immortality... Hopefully you'll find happiness, where I couldn't...
The screen turns off.
BB: very interesting! Most seem hesitant of it all... I for one think it's cute! Imagine in a thousand years you guys have a double date with me and my dear stag beetle!
Rex: ...a thousand years...
Quetz: still having trouble processing it all?
Rex: yeah... maybe when I get there... it'll be easier.
BB: now for today's final one! A scenario! One of you two goes berserk! What does the other do to calm them down?
Rex: well that has happened before... usually a nice hug is more then good enough.
Quetz: si! I've almost destroyed a few servants a few times until mi amor caught me in a hug! I can't bring myself to harm him... so I stop!
BB: sounds too easy... but I've seen that before so... I'll let it slide.
BB: well that's all the time we have for now! Hopefully you all are satisfied by the answers! We'll be doing this again, seeya!
Screen cuts out, the show's over.

PIPSQUEAK
a kuroo x gangmember!reader
summary;
" you like to cause a bit of trouble, pipsqueak?"
" pipsqueak? seriously?"
Life for you got turned upside down after your first year at Nekoma high. Realizing it was too dangerous, your parents sent you back to live in Miyagi and attend Karasuno with your old friends. Kuroo Tetsuro, the Police Chiefs son, comes into contact with you in the most unexpected way possible, bringing trouble wherever you both go.
—————————-
Prologue.
High school was never that interesting to you. Though, you'll admit that it was a good way to help the days pass. You always found different games to help.
At first, games to you meant sneaking out of the house, slashing tires, almost getting arrested, going to parties. You had a bad reputation. You had been mixed up with all the wrong people before at your old school. But now you were going to turn your life around. Even if that means that now games to you would mean studying. Kind of.
The closest you'd probably get to your new life would be getting in trouble for minor things at school. For example, falling asleep in class was a specialty of yours. Truly, an art form. Waking up to that sweet slap of a ruler against your desk was better than any alarm clock you'd ever hear. The rush in your chest, the heat to your cheeks, the sweaty palms. Incredible. But that is it. You promised your mother that this year you would be making her proud at Karasuno. You wouldn't be hanging out with those "thugs" as she liked to call them. You would keep up, maybe pay attention, and maybe make some more real friends.
The truth was that school never felt like a real challenge to you. Sure there were plenty of difficult subjects that made you feel stupid but you always kept out of the drama, minded your business, and kept your head down. It was fine. There really was a target on your back now that you were the new girl at school though, and you had adjusted week by week meeting new people and reuniting with some old ones, too. But ultimately you decided the social system just wasn't made for you. There wasn't really a good place for you to fit in, or maybe it just wasn't comparing to the kind of family you made before.
Today was one of those days where your motivation was at its peak, you were taking good notes. Studied for a quiz, been overly diligent. Then that sweet beautiful sound of the lunch bell rang, you pulled out your food, grabbed your skateboard, and left the classroom in a bit of a hurry. As you were leaving you started to hear a conversation:
Dude, don't worry, I have it completely handled. Watch...
"(Y/N)!" Narita, your classmate called for you once you exited the room and into the hallway. He stood next to Ennoshita who looked like he would explode any second. You knew Narita, him and Ennoshita were in Class 4 with you and you really didn't have that many real friends at school but you wouldn't mind calling them that. They were some of the friends you were reunited with from middle school, they were a big comfort to you when you transferred in.
"Hey, how's it going?" You slowly walked over, trying to find your excuse to leave and take a nap without seeming impolite.
"Great, good. Thanks, yourself?" Narita answered for him and Ennoshita. He also seemed in a hurry for some reason but was much worse at covering it up.
"Pretty tired, but uh, for the most part—" You started but your sentence didn't last long.
"You should come to my party! Uh— Our party. We're having a party it would probably wake you up. It's in Tokyo! I mean—" Narita came in strong.
"Nice, buddy. You really do got this handled." Was all Ennoshita followed it up with, "Gotta go, see you guys in class."
"A party?" You laughed a little, just because these guys were anything but the partying type. You started walking and Narita was following you like a hawk, "Don't you guys have volleyball practice or something?"
"Yeah, of course. But not this Friday night! I mean technically we do but we'll be done at 6:30. Party can start at 7:30." Narita followed up, "All the volleyball guys will be there, too. We have a summer training camp in Tokyo starting on Monday so this is kind of the only day we can get everyone together. We already had our friends from Nekoma invite pretty much everyone they knew."
"N-Nekoma, huh?" Your smile wavered, "That sounds like it'll be really fun for you guys. Thanks for the invite, but I don't really know anyone on your team. Plus, I can't get to Tokyo by 7:30." You said, declining as well as you could without making your answer too suspicious.
"Well, yeah about that. Um, by 'it's in Tokyo' what I meant to say was Tokyo guys will be there. They're volleyball players, too, actually." He explained, rubbing the back of his neck and adjusting his satchel, trying his best to act cool and lean against the vending machine you were using.
"So, it's a Volleyball mixer with you guys and a bunch of guys from Tokyo but it's not in Tokyo? Where is it, then?" You asked for the elaboration, kind of liking this dancing way to get to the point.
"Yes, well and other schools in Miyagi, too. It's a lot of schools, I mean I'm talking Nekoma, Fukorodani, Aoba Johsai, Johzenji, Date Tech, Shiratorizawa.. maybe.. Inarizaki.. and more.. again maybe. But it's at Kinoshita's house. Which is still kinda far, but it has a pool! His family is loaded and they'll all be gone this weekend." Narita finally got to the point.
"Sounds like it'll be a good time for you guys. I'm happy for you, sounds like you've made a lot of friends from other schools." You cheers'd your milk to him and started walking again to find a place to eat.
"No, no. Girls will be there, too. It's kinda the whole point."
"You really have to work on your pitch." You said plainly.
"Please, I need your help (Y/N). I was put in charge of getting girls to come to this party." Narita begged, you couldn't help but let out a laugh at his desperation. In all your years of knowing him and being in the same classes you had never seen him talk to a single girl who wasn't in a group project or something related to it.
        "Why you?"
"It was either me or Tanaka."
"Oh, then definitely you are the better choice." You agreed, having known just from the previous stories he's told you. "Interesting proposition. I'll think about it."
"You'll think about it and say yes?" He tried, "Every time I talk to a pretty girl I feel like I'm going to throw up, I can't talk to groups of girls and invite them to a party. But you're likable, more well known now since you're the new girl."
"First of all, rude that I don't make you want to throw up. I'm pretty, sometimes."
       "Fair."
"How about, I'll say yes if you tell me who it is you have a crush on, which girl you most want at this party then I'll help out." You offered. Narita thought for a minute as you started eating your lunch.
"Fine." He nodded, "This is my duty to my boys." Then he leaned into your ear and whispered the name of the prettiest and smartest girl in your class: Ichika Yua. Ichika was going to be a tough sell.
"Alright. A deals a deal. You've given me a secret and I will do what I can do. How many girls do you need, anyway? Are we going for a 1:1 ratio or..?"
"No, these guys need a much higher chance I think. Let's try a 4:1 ratio."
"Yeah, actually you're gonna take what you can get."
       "Yes, ma'am."
"Now give me the rundown on your team. I don't really know any of them and I need to know for my pitches I have to do this week. And don't think because I'm doing some work means that you can slack off okay. I really only know 2nd-year girls, if you want 3rd year or 1st you have to go to them. You need to try too. Also, will there be alcohol?" You listed off your demands and were straight forward. Narita made a slow nod,
"Oh, I almost forgot. Do you know any girls from Nekoma who could come?" He asked you the dreaded question.
Yup, you were originally supposed to spend your high school years at Nekoma High School. When you were entering high school your dad got a job offer in Tokyo, forcing you to move out there after middle school. Then after everything happened, your Mom knew it was too risky to let you live out in Tokyo still and she shipped you back here to go to Karasuno and live in a small apartment by yourself. You have family friends who come to check on you and your parents visit when they can. It's not horrible, at least now you get to come back to streets more familiar.
"Um, I think the girls I knew from Nekoma aren't exactly the girls you want at a party. Besides, you should just ask your volleyball brethren to ask some girls and pull their weight. Or are they too pretty for you to talk to?" You teased Narita and knocked his head.
"Hey, girls are girls." Narita held his head from where you knocked it.
"Sure, if thats the case then the next time you see me I better be seeing some chunks."
You and Narita continued to eat lunch together that day. Until you realized you only had a limited amount of time left and had to use the bathroom before class so you excused yourself. You skated away around the outside of the courtyard with a bun in your mouth and around some of your other classmates, waving.
"Dude, uh. Who was that?" A guy with an aggressive appearance walked up to Narita, having walked past a few minutes before but stayed just to gawk.
        "Huh? (Y/N)?" Narita clarified, innocently.
"(Y/N)... wow. What a beautiful name." Tanaka sighed in simp, "Is she our year?"
"Yeah, man. She's in my class. You never noticed her before? I'm surprised she was the talk of Karasuno guys for like the whole first week of this year." He laughed. "She is technically new to Karasuno this year. But she's from Miyagi, I've known her since grade school."
"My babe sensor has been reserved for Kiyoko only recently. Trying to be loyal." He humphed, "You guys a thing?"
"What? No, no." Narita laughed, "No, we've just been friends for a while. She's helping me get girls to come to the party on Friday."
Tanaka jumped up with optimism, "Yes! This is going to be the best party of our high school lives!"
"I hope so." Narita rubbed his neck to try and tame his nerves again.
"(Y/N).." Tanaka sighed again, "You know who's gonna go nuts when they get a look at her, right?"
       "I know."

hey yall I noticed that there don't appear to be any transcripts for A Study In Ichor, so I figured I'd type some up, please note I am literally just going off the audio and I might get some stuff wrong.
mission 1
:readmore:
CLIP ONE
Workhouse Owner (WO): RUN FASTER, WORKER FIVE, THAT TREADMILL WON'T TURN ITSELF. As you can see, Master Yao, our workhouse not only provides food and shelter for three hundred inmates but makes a healthy profit too. For example, Worker Five has been running on one of Cubbad's “treadmills” for a mere twelve hours today and has already milled five hundred pounds of flour. Got the odd nail in it but it's good enough for the Rutherhive slums [laughs]
Sam Yao (SY): Twelve hours? Without a break?
WO: The alternative of life on the streets is an excellent motivator. And with your investment we will be able to build even more machinery, maybe even increase rations to three bowls of gruel a day.
SY: I want to use my inheritance for good, and if I'm honest, I have some concerns about your worker's wellbeing.
WO: Oooh I seee~ Yes, I suppose it is rather fashionable nowadays to worry about unfortunates, but I assure you Master Yao, once you've had to make your way in the world, like myself or your uncle, a fine man, you'll learn that revenue is the important thing, not how it's made.
(note, as Sam talks there approaching footsteps)
SY: Surely, there's a way to- OW!
WO: YOU THERE, IN THE CAP, watch where you're going, you just ran into a potential investor. Where's your worker number?
Pick pocket (PP): (in a stilted cockney accent) Sorry, Guv'ner.
SY: No, no, it's fine, I was in the way.
WO: It is not fine. Young lady, break time isn't for another three hours. Get back to work. (retreating footsteps from PP) I'm dreadfully sorry, Master Yao, this workhouse is full of ingrates.
SY: My watch! It's gone, the chain's been snapped...
WO: That worker stole it, she's a pickpocket! Worker Five get off that treadmill and chase after her DON'T COME BACK WITHOUT THAT WATCH!
SY: Uh, I'll come with you, Worker Five, I don't want to make a fuss, but that watch is important to me. Come on, let's run.
CLIP TWO:
SY: Hey, mind your step, Worker Five, I've heard about this, rows of people crushing animal bones to make fertiliser. Ugh, the smell is awful. Pickpocket just ran out into the street, we've got to follow her! Five, I hope you don't mind if I call you Five, through that door! (sound of door opening) There! I see her, she's heading towards the Temm's tunnel, it goes under the river from here to Whopee, an engineering marvel- a-apparently, my uncle's an engineer, he's building an underground railway. I try to keep up with the industry but... It doesn't come naturally... I mean, I-I know the tunnel was built using Bruno Cockren's tunnelling shield but I still barely understand what that even is, I don't ac-ARGH! Oh! (gasping) Five! If you hadn't pulled me aside that horse and cart would have run me over! Ugh, I-I'm sorry, I should have been paying attention, but well I-I don't often get to talk to anyone who isn't my uncle, or someone who's interested in my inheritance... Not that I need all that money, of course. I just want to be sure it's going to help people, it's what my parents would have wanted. That's why the watch is so important to me, it was the last thing they ever gave me before they died. Reminds me of what's important. If, if it was any other watch, I'd... just have let that pickpocket keep it, I'm sure she needs it more than I do... Ah, she's just hopped the barrier at the Temm's tunnel, it's in that round red brick building the entrance shaft is underneath, come on, Five, let's experience this engineering marvel first-hand, quickly, before we lose her!
CLIP THREE
SY: Ah, this tunnel is incredible, can you believe we're RUNNING under the Temms, makes me feel a bit funny... Mind you, we're here now that it's safe, uh, some of the people that built it died in the flood... Oh! Maybe I should spend my inheritance on something that'll make projects like this safer for workers, what do you reckon Five? Oh, Oh no... The pickpocket's already climbing the stairs! Ah- she's getting away! (panting) Whopping's all alleys, if she slips down a back street, we'll never find her! Up the stairs! Run!
CLIP FOUR
SY: (panting) And we're out of the tunnel, the pickpocket just ducked down that alley, after her. (Running sounds) Uh, we've got you cornered, now please. Give me my watch back.
Amelia Spens, formerly known as the Pickpocket (AS): Oh, I don't think so. Lads! (sounds of several sets of footsteps closing in) You're surrounded.
SY: Five, it's a gang of pickpockets.
AS: I'd have been happy with just the watch, but since you followed me, allow me to introduce the Abel Street Gang, they're all over the rooftops and they've all got knives.
SY: Please, don't hurt us, Five here has nothing to do with this!
AS: There'll be no need for bloodshed as long as you both give me all the money you're carrying.
SY: Five doesn't have anything, but, uh, (mumbling, followed by the sound of a heavy bag of coins hitting the ground) That's all of mine.
AS: W-he-hell, aren't we the wealthy one.
SY: I-I've got more! Lots more! And I'll give it to you, I promise, just please return the watch. It's my most treasured possession.
AS: I see! Not an especially experienced negotiator, are you. Hmm, let's take a look at this watch, see what's so special about it. Hmm, pearl face, silver plating, and... an engraving...
SY: It's uh... it's Chinese, those are my parent's names, and that's mine. Sam Yao.
AS: Y-you're not even going to try and make up an identity? What- (laughing) You're lucky I'm just a pickpocket and not someone REALLY nefarious, I- Helloo, what's this? (music starts playing)
SY: There's a tiny music box behind the face, that melody was special to them.
AS: Ooh, a bit twee if you ask me.
SY: So you'll give it back?
AS: I might have sold it back to you for a few sovereigns before you told me who you were, but as my luck would have it there just happens to be something that only you can do for me, Sam Yao. Your uncle's digging a railway underneath London, isn't he?
SY: H-how did you know that?
AS: I read the Society Pages, in my line of work one needs to know who's on course to inherit what fortune, and which Saloons they're likely to fall out of after one too many brandies.
SY: My fortunes from my parents, not my uncle.
AS: Yes, but you're his ward, or at least you were until you came of age recently, correct?
SY: Yes.
AS: There's something I want to show you. Follow me and keep up the pace. There are far more unsavoury types than me in Whopping and they'll take more than your watch. Run!
CLIP FIVE
SY: What's your name?
AS: I'm not telling you my real one, but you can call me Amelia.
SY: Uh, if you don't mind me saying, Amelia, you're quite well spoken for a pickpocket.
AS: Well, even an educated woman is not replete with options in this day and age. We might have a woman on the throne but I had to choose between penury, marriage to a seventy year old rector, or this.
SY: Well, it's not easy for me either, I'm lucky I have money because, well, being Chinese, people have misconceptions.
AS: Yes, you really should choose your friends wisely. Down this side street.
SY: Ugh, Mm. What IS that smell?
AS: Cover your mouths with your handkerchiefs, both of you.
SY: It's alright, Five, you can use mine.
AS: The smell is coming from that huge pipe, you see the emblem embossed on it?
SY: Ah! It's from my uncle's engineering company!
AS: That's right. The pipe is a ventilation shaft from his railway tunnel, now let's get away from it so we can breathe.
SY: (Gasping) Whoah, Oh that's better. What is going on down there?
AS: That's what I want you to find out.
WO (distant): MASTER YAO! WORKER FIVE!
SY: Ugh, it's the workhouse owner.
WO: (approaching footsteps) (panting) Master Yao, I followed you all the way from Rutherhive, one of my workers told me this woman is actually part of the Abel Street Gang! She only came to the workhouse to target you.
AS: This worker, was he a handsome fellow? Smarmy grin?
WO: That's right!
AS: Brent. (Sigh) That'll teach me to use former paramours as spies. Fine. (gun clicking) Hands up!
SY: Amelia! Don't shoot him!
AS: I'm not not aiming it at him, Sam, I'm aiming it at you.
WO: Steady on!
AS: Mr Workhouse Owner, unless you want future investors to know you got this one killed, I'd advise you to stop following us. Sam, Five, come with me or I'll shoot you both. Run!
CLIP SIX
AS: We lost the Workhouse owner, time to put this away (clicking sound)
SY: We would have come with you, Amelia, there was no need for the gun!
AS: Don't tell me how to take a hostage. Now listen carefully, for reasons that elude me, not everyone who falls on hard times opts for criminality, some people would honestly rather perform manual labour, and your uncle happens to be a proliferate employer of such eccentrics. I wouldn't care, except that many of his employees have family in the Abel Street Gang.
SY: I can ask my uncle to pay them more. But... He doesn't really listen to me. I'm Rather naive, apparently.
AS: Well, fortunately I have no need of your dreadful negotiating skills, I need you to solve an even stickier problem. Several of your uncle's workers have gone missing. Even though I've repeatedly explained to my gang that it's a waste of time caring about anything besides one's self, they're refusing to work until they learn what's happened to their loved ones. It's hurting my bottom line.
SY: That's awful... For the workers.
AS: Ahh, they're probably dead. If WE can barely breathe the noxious fumes near the ventilation shafts, what do you think it's like underground?
SY: I can't imagine! Those poor people... I'll stop what's happening, I promise, even if I have to spend every last penny of my inheritance.
AS: Do that and I'll give you your watch back.
SY: It's a deal.
AS: Mm, my favourite words. Righto, well, if that's settled then I'm off. There's a debutante ball this evening and I need to be in good time if I'm going to harvest some pearls. (retreating footsteps)
SY: There she goes. Look, Five, ah, I feel a bit awkward asking you this, but, would you maybe consider working with me? You were quick out there, really impressive, I've just moved into a house by myself and I could do with a hand. I promise it'll be a lot easier than the workhouse. I know it's been a funny old day, but for me it's actually been nice having someone to talk to. Talk at. Sorry, I know I go on a bit. But if you want to let's shake on it. You did save my life. Great! Now, I'm starving, how about some steak and oyster pie? Maybe we'll come up with some ideas about what happened to those missing workers over dinner., then tomorrow, we'll visit my uncle. Lord Earnest Van Ark.

Timothy Kassouni Looking For Tips About Lead Generation? You've Come To The Right Place!
Timothy Kassouni Proficient tips provider. Do you know much about lead generation? Do you want to educate yourself about it? Read this article to learn all you can. The more you know, the less mistakes you'll make.
Perfect the art of a good call to action, in order to generate more leads for your business. A good call to action is highly specific, very relevant to the particular readers and always links to a landing page where the offer can be found for purchase or download. Make your CTA count for more valuable leads.
Try direct mail as a lead generation tactic. Many people think that direct mail has gone the way of the dinosaur, but it's not true. In fact, it may be very powerful for your market as a lot of competitors shy away from it as a strategy. You may find a lot of business opportunity here.
Timothy Kassouni Qualified tips provider.Test a small market sample if you are trying to generate leads in a new way or area of consumer spending. While online marketing can be very economical, you don't want to waste a lot of resources on something that's going to go bust. Test a sample and if it generates a few leads, go for it! Otherwise, simply live and learn and move on.
Look into opportunities where you may be able to pay for leads. Paying for leads is not a bad thing at all. In fact there are many companies out there that can deliver you leads at a surprisingly low cost. Just do your homework before signing up with anyone. There are scams out there.
Avoid overkill in your information gathering. Many leads will be happy to supply basic information. However, with each data field that your potential lead needs to fill, their desire to continue wanes. Gather the basics that will be necessary to qualify the lead without pushing for every bit of information you can gather.
Check out events in your area and see if there's a way you can use them to generate leads. For example, if there is a cycling race, buy a sponsorship package. Then you can get yourself on TV talking about it, or in the paper, or just talk to people who are there to watch.
Try finding leads in groups online and taking them up on their offers. These leads can be great if your company is local. This way, you can share information and have others share yours with the right potential customers.
Hold a party for your best sources of referrals. Make it worth their while to show up by providing great food, drinks and entertainment. If you show them you appreciate their help, they'll continue to bring you leads and you'll all end up better off for the arrangement between you.
Stop trying to butter customers up! When you need to generate more leads, use a direct approach with them, because chances are good that neither you nor they have a lot of time for small talk and schmoozing. Get to your point, offer a great price for clicking the "buy now" icon and get better results.
Start a newsletter and send it out to your current clients. You can also send them to those who have brought in referrals in the past, and even people who just happen to live near you. If you make it concise and clear people will read it, and you might get some new leads.
Make sure you understand what you hope to gain from your lead generation efforts. If you have goals in your business, you should have similar goals when it comes to building it. Know how you plan to gather leads, how many you need for each push and how to best use them.
Customer referrals are one thing, and a referral program can definitely work. But, take things a step further by asking your customer base to provide testimonials. This can really work out for you, as people read through these reviews often to determine if they want to do business with a company.
Timothy Kassouni Proficient tips provider. One of the fastest and easiest ways to generate leads is through referrals for your services! Offering existing customers incentives for referrals, such as a certain amount of money discounted the next time they use your services, will let you have several leads quickly. It's a foolproof way to get new business!
Consider your target audience and where in the buying process they are. For example, newlyweds or new parents might be in a hurry to buy a new home, so real estate agents need to market to that urgency. Downsizing seniors will be more receptive to a relaxed approach.
Word-of-mouth referrals may seem like an old fashioned approach to gaining more customers, but they are like gold when it comes to generating leads. If you want to raise the stakes a little bit, come up with an offer or deal that potential customers can't refuse. You may even be able to come up with content that goes viral in order to generate even more leads.
Timothy Kassouni Expert tips provider.Consider creating websites for all the different niches of potential leads you have. For example, "NewlywedHomes.com" for a real estate agent marketing to newlyweds, or "EmptyNestHomes.com" for the same agent marketing to those whose kids have flown the coop. Targeting your pages to your leads will boost the number which convert.
Start a social media campaign. Increase your brand awareness on heavily populated sites, such as Twitter and Facebook. These venues allow people interested in your offerings to easily share them with others. This type of word-of-mouth advertising can be invaluable. In addition to that, it is also very cost effective.
Make sure your offers are appropriate. They must be relevant to the prospective buyer. Great content is important, but the timing of its delivery is also important. Many customers will see information at different parts of their decision process. Try picking a particular time you think is best to better your chances of getting on their short list.
So, what are you going to do with this knowledge? Will you start making use of it right now? If you start implementing all you've learned right away, the sooner you will reap the positive results of your campaign.

My Idea for a Scooby-Doo! Reboot
So a while back, after noticing that Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated was on Spectrum On Demand, I decided, "Hey, I'm gonna rewatch this show." I don't know why I did it, because I rarely ever rewatch shows. I'll watch reruns, but never have I actually decided to rewatch a television series. But, I did it for Scooby-Doo.
And frankly, I had forgotten how good the show was. It's honestly really dark, while also being absolutely hilarious; and in its humor, the show actually does really unique things with the Scooby-Doo gang, with the biggest example being this show's version of Fred Jones. It's wild. But in my opinion, the thing that really makes this show what it is...
...is its story. I feel like the story and characters are fuel for this show in a way that feels different from other shows, somehow. I don't really get it, but that's the way I see it.
So, seeing as there's all these serialized cartoon series nowadays, and Scooby-Doo is always getting rebooted in one way or another, I figured... what if I rebooted Scooby? If I had the opportunity to reboot Scooby-Doo and the only Warner Bros requirement was "just make it," what would I do with it?
Without further ado, this is To the Future, Scooby-Doo!
First up: The Premise
To kick things off, I'll discuss how the show is set up. This version of Scooby-Doo is set in the future. Technology has become more holographic and stuff like in the movies, but fashion hasn't evolved to be nothing but latex bodysuits yet. Flying cars are real but not very widely used, and clothes can tell the time.
On the biological side of things, prosthetics are holographic as well, and incredibly easy to attach. It's almost like having your original limb. Food is healthier while also being more environmentally friendly, and animals have been genetically modified for a very long time. They have been allowed to mate, which has eventually lead to many domesticated animals being able to speak!
The main setting is a large port town known as Port Intrigue, where all sorts of goods are traded, and many people lead peaceful lives. It's a nice place, and a lot of the economy is structured around it. There are other important trade cities like it, but Port Intrigue may be the most powerful.
It's also probably the weirdest, because in true Scooby-Doo fashion, no one can just "be a criminal." Heck no! Where's the fun in that?? If you're gonna try and get money through illegal fear tactics, you've gotta do it in style!!
And for some reason or another, the police get a little help with solving a lot of the more, uh... colorful mysteries. Help from a group of kids attending Intrigue High...
Next up: The Scooby Gang!
So here's the big part! All of my redesigns of the classic gang! Let's kick it off with:
FRED JONES
Tumblr media
So this version of Fred is definitely toned back from various recent versions of Scooby-Doo, particularly the DVD movies and Mystery Incorporated. He's a lot more laid back, and has a sort of "cool guy" persona.
One day a long time ago, his parents, 2 great scientists, didn't pick him up from school, and apparently they mysteriously disappeared. So since then he's been living with Shaggy. At Intrigue High, he is in the theater program as a Tech, so he's good with pulleys and ropes and other various behind-the-scenes theater things, which makes him really good at making weird Rube Goldbergs - and traps, whenever the need arises. But when would Fred ever need to build a trap?
NORVILLE "SHAGGY" ROGERS
Tumblr media
...Y'all can excuse the scribbles in the lower corner, right?
Anyway, this version of Shaggy is just as uptight as he always is, but instead of that only being attributed to mystery solving and creepy ghoulies, it's evolved into some much, much greater!!!
He's the mom friend now.
Y'know, telling everyone to watch their eating habits and be careful of opening soda cans because so help me if you scratch yourself...!
Long time ago he lost his arm so now he has one of those cool prosthetics. The trauma of losing it though has made him extra cautious, and a bit of a scaredy cat. Of course, he's willing to do whatever it takes for his friends, just like the Shaggy we all know!
He still likes to eat and is a bit of an amateur chef, participating in the culinary club at Intrigue High.
VELMA DINKLEY
Tumblr media
This is my rendition of Velma Dinkley. She's still the smartest one of the group, and good at technology, but is also a boxer! She's not just strong, but also strong willed!
The Dinkley's have a long, long history of scientific endeavors, and Velma's father is a great scientist as well! Though really, it's more of a hobby for him.
Velma lives with her younger sister Madelyn (who some of you might remember from Abracadabra-Doo) and her father, Victor.
This Velma is snarky, yet quirky. She's got a real go-getter mentality, which everyone can't help but to respect.
DAPHNE BLAKE
Tumblr media
Daphne Blake is a bit of a softie. She was never very forward with making friends, but developed a clique of her own with Fred, Shaggy, Scooby and Velma.
Her house used to be the gang's main hang out spot, but after the kids moved on to high school, they haven't been over to her house at all.
Daphne likes to draw, and really wants to be a fashion designer. In fact, she's a part of Intrigue High's costume design team for the theater program!
SCOOBY-DOO
Tumblr media
Scooby-Doo has been part of the Rogers family ever since he was a puppy, and Shaggy was a little kid. The two have been basically inseparable their whole lives, with Scooby even attending school with everyone else.
He likes belly rubs, scratches behind the ear, and food. So in other words, he's the same Scooby we all know and love! Still fearful, but dedicated to his friends, including...
MEASLES
Tumblr media
Shaggy and Scooby may have been buds since they were little kids, but before Shaggy, Scooby had Measles.
Since they're both GMO animals, they both have the ability to speak human language, which they would use to try and get food. Eventually, Measles was able to get Scooby into a good home with the Rogers family. Unfortunately, Mr and Mrs Rogers couldn't afford to take care of Shaggy, Fred, a dog, and a cat, but Measles promised to visit Scooby whenever she could, or that they'd at least see each other around. And she's kept that promise! Even to this day, the gang will sometimes find her in random locations, like... the Theater Program's costume box?
Measles has a lackadaisical, yet somewhat snarky personality, but definitely cares for her friends. It just may take a while to show it.
Last up: Everything Else
Uh, hm. I guess this is the generalization of the show.
Well, it's a giant celebration of Scooby-Doo. The gang wears different outfits, rarely wearing the same one in consecutive episodes. And each outfit would be pulled from a previous Scooby series (yes, including *shivers*... Get a Clue).
Also, other characters from previous series and Scooby media are not only in the show, but play decently sized rolls. For example, I already mentioned Madelyn Dinkley, but there's also Red Herring from A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, or Mayor Nettles and Sherriff Bronson Stone from Mystery Incorporated (they're married from the start this time!). Even the dreaded Scrappy Doo makes his return at (what I imagine to be) the start of Season 2, hopefully to redeem himself and not be relegated to a tired joke about "lol Scrappee sux XD"
Flim-Flam is back too, but is rebranded as Frida McScam, the fast talking troublemaking free spirited girl who takes everybody's crap and spins it in her favor (and also might be psychic).
Scooby's family tree is mentioned, and his parents even have a major role in Season 1.
Just a whole lot of Scooby-Doo trivia and stuff. Stuff that I imagine the people working on the show would be way, way better at remembering and putting to use than I am!
As for the overarching plot?
Well, what futuristic setting would be complete without aliens? I imagine the aliens would be a race of owl creatures known as the Willawaw (another Scooby reference because I hope this show is FULL OF THEM). Basically, these aliens are the bad guys, both in the show proper, and in a lot of the show's backstory. They're like myth villains, or greater scope villains, or something.
I was even thinking like, when the gang ends up running, rather than using a recyclable run cycle from a side view, everyone could have brand new running animations, like to distinguish them all as unique. Although I guess that's what the running cycles were... but the chase scenes are a lot like Mystery Inc, where they were a lot more action packed. It could be great! And of course, everyone would use the classic running style at some point throughout the show, because that seems to be tradition for Scooby-Doo.
This was a really big post! But if you read all of it, thanks a million! I hope you liked the small amount of art within, or just the idea in general! Maybe I'll even draw my reimagined takes on the other characters some day. But for now, I'll leave at this.

New apartment - Does a best friend... (part 1)
Note: Hey there sweets! I’m happy to release a fiction written during aproximately... 2 months. It’s kind of my sweet baby, and i’m so nervous to release it! (hope it would not flop dkskdh) I have to thank a wonderful friend of mine, @rogerina-is-hotter-than-me for the correction and for reassuring me ! So i hope you will like it!
Plot: You are moving into your first apartment with Roger, your childhood best friend. The small party you’re doing that night would be cut short by someone you love...
warnings: language ? talking about sex ? but mostly... ANGST  and FLUFF! (and sorry if i’ve fucked up the timeline jdbjbfzejfe)
Tumblr media
Your feet were for the first time walking on the used wooden floor of your brand new apartment. It was exciting and frightening. On this day of October 1971, you were alone in an undiscovered world that was London. You felt a hand on your shoulder, and the intoxicating scent of someone you knew well.
“Inauguration, tonight, of the brand new place of Y/N and Roger!” Roger said that, trying to reproduce the voices of the advertising you saw once on your old TV. He was laughing a little, and then softly suggested “Come on bub, let's go in and open all those boxes.”
You two had known eachother since a long time. Actually, since you broke your guitar, playing in your garden. On this day of summer 63, you were wearing a little checkered yellow dress and your hair was tied in a ponytail, a pale yellow bow holding it. Roger was living in the house facing yours and was staring at you, leaning in his window. You knew his existence, but you never talked to each others. So, you were playing the guitar your parent just offered you, outside, when suddenly, guys bullying you from your school showed up. They annoyed you, taking your guitar off of your hands. You stood up, and, the bigger kid pushed you in the grass, while the other was shaking your guitar. Roger was seeing it from his window, reluctant at helping you. These guys were bullying him too because of his height. It's when your guitar was clearly cut in two part that he came. With his little voice, he saved you. “Hey you! Big head! Get away from her.” he said, bravely. The guys were laughing out loud, when, suddenly, Roger jumped on them and punched them with all his strength. One of them was already out, running far away. He was small, but damn he was punching those big monkeys, as you used to named them, with strength. It's when, five minutes after this event, he helped you to stand up, that you became friends.
You were exactly the same person, though, in a girl body: inseparable stubborn friends, defending yourselves, facing lovers or bully. All dedicated to the other, at every moment. You were testing all the first things with each other, smoking, drinking, for the first time, for example. But he was ahead, being the sexy drummer of his band and by shagging first. On your side it was more complicated, but he didn't knew that. Anyway, with him, it would be the first time you had your own house. Naturally you choose him as your flatmate.
You two had opened some “vital” boxes and put the record player first, to tidy everything with music. The afternoon was long and sweaty but your house was almost finished. Roger was on the phone, ordering Chinese food, and you were watching him, sat on the floor. With his long blonde hair, falling on his shoulders and his shirt half buttoned, he was breathtaking. The metallic noise of the telephone handset brought you out of your thoughts.
“Nice that Cheryl is coming for dinner!” he was totally smiling, crouching to sat down with you. His blue eyes were looking at you. Cheryl was your friend and you set him with her, hopping that he would not cheat on her. You knew Roger, the guy who was out with three girlfriends at the same time one day, but you wanted to believe that he could maintain a healthy relation for once. “Is Brian coming too?”
“I hope! I don't want to play gooseberry again, you're gross guys!” you laughed a little.
“That was not that bad, last time!” he pushed you gently and said “admit above all that you want your boyfriend for you to inaugurate this beautiful bedroom you just set, lovey.”
“Fuck you, Taylor!” you yelled, laughing and standing up, hearing some knock on the door. When you opened it was Cheryl, wearing a beautiful and almost nonexistent red velvet dress, so much it was short. You knew she was doing everything to please Roger, but it was a little bit afflicting sometimes.
“Hi sweetheart!” Cheryl said with her nasal voice. She then came closer to you and whispered “How am I? Do you think Roger is gonna like it?” you took a look at her and sigh, widening your eyes.
“Hell yeah, he's gonna love it.” you whispered back, sarcastically. You hated when she was doing that, asking you your opinion.
You closed the door after that and came next to them, falling in the sofa already present in the apartment when you two moved in. Roger was kissing Cheryl in some way you didn't knew him capable of. You were trying to get distracted, not looking at them. It was gross, seriously. By the way he put his hands over Cheryl thighs, yeah, he as loving this dress. A sudden knock helped you to go out of this awkward situation.
“Brian!” you smiled, hugging him. “Help me, they're eating themselves already.” you made a concerned facial expression trying to get a smile on that beautiful face of his.
“I’ve got you,” he laughed and handed you the Chinese food bags. “First, the delivery boy gave me this, and second, gonna distract them.” he put a chaste peck on your lips and smiled against your mouth, crouching a little to be your height. He came in the living-room, interrupting the make out session they decided to do now.
“You're gross guys, look, I can hold me when I'm seeing my beautiful girlfriend. Huh, Rog?” He gave you a wink, laughing a little.
“That's because she's not beautiful and hot, that's all.” Roger whispered, his fingertip on Cheryl nose.
“Bastard.” you sighed at Roger, feigning pain, and then patted Brian's shoulder. “You've done your best, hon.” you kissed his cheek and laughed.
You were opening the food boxes and putting it in some plates. You knew Brian was a vegetarian, so you put extra meat for Roger. You gave them their plates and sat in Brian's lap, beginning to eat. You were smiling, giving some of your noodles to your boyfriend. Roger was pouting, and you laughed at his face. The evening was animated by music talk and jokes. You and Roger were literally fighting for the guitarist's attention.
Back in the kitchen, you put the plates into your sink and felt Brian's hands on your waist. He was smiling, kissing your neck. Fortunately, Roger was not seeing you. You turned and let your nose brush softly against his. You knew what he wanted. You loved Brian but he wasn't the one. You were so afraid. Hearing laughs in the living room, you thought that you would have some time alone for you two. He took your leg, softly bringing it to his waist and put you up on the sink sides. You were kissing tenderly, a hand in his curly hair. You see a blonde mop coming in the kitchen, and a grin grew on his lips.
“Ew! That's gross guys!” he was talking with a calm smooth voice, hoping to reproduce Brian's voice. Brian turned to face him and smiled.
“You're not good at impersonating people.” Brian's soft voice was amused but at the same time a bit annoyed. You came down the sink and took a dish towel to throw at Roger.
“Mind your own affair, Blondie!” you yelled. Roger laughed, challenging you, the cloth in his hand. You suddenly began to run after him. You two were like child, and you were chasing each other in all the apartment, cursing out loud. Brian was sitting with Cheryl, smiling at the sight of Roger jumping on the central island of your kitchen. The blonde caught you, breathless, to stop you.
“Okay! White flag! I'm Switzerland, y'know” he was breathing heavily, holding you in his arms. You were running out of puff too, nodding. You put the cloth on his face and rested against the wall, looking at his blue eyes. “Fuckin' cigarettes!” he mumbled.
You were on your bed, trying to put off your shoes. Brian was in the bathroom and the sound of pouring water was muffling Cheryl stupid laughs. You were angry at the fact that you were the one who put these two together. It was not the best idea, really. You were not feeling Cheryl. You throw one shoes to the wall next to Roger's room. You heard the drummer groan and throw something against it too, answering you. You didn't realized that the water stopped, and that Brian was watching you, a grin on his face. He was only “wearing” a towel on his waist.
“Angry at Cheryl, huh?” he smiled. “She's not the smartest girl ever, it's true, but she's kind and seems to fit with Roger.” he sat on the bed and brush your arm. You pulled back a little at the sensation. He frowned but hold on. “If Roger do not cheat on her… That's good.” Realizing that Roger did not cheated since 11 months -almost a year- amazed you. It was fucking crazy for Roger, not looking for another girl. He should really love her. You remained silent and looked at your colourful socks.
Tooking a cigarette softly, you gave one to Brian. You lighted both cigarettes, end to end and a puff of smoke went up.
“Tell me the truth, Y/N...” he paused, looking at you in the eyes. You were afraid of the next thing he would say. “You don't want me to touch you?”. Fuck.
“No, it's not that Bri...” you were shaking a little. He was so comforting and nice to you. How could you tell him that he was not the “good” person for your first time? Maybe was he, after all? You were avoiding his eyes, when suddenly he understood. He let a sigh that he was not aware he was holding.
“You're a virgin.” he said, mumbling, lost in his thoughts.
“Thanks for making it so obvious.” you tried to joke. His hands brushed softly a lock of his hair out of his face. He seemed annoyed, far away in his mind.
“Why did Roger is talking about those guys you used to see?” a little bit of disgust was in his voice. He was annoyed but tried to stay calm, as usual.
“Come on, Brian… It was to shut Rog's big mouth and avoid all of his jokes. You do not believe all this bullshit, do you?” You said, beginning to be irritated. A long and quiet pause was set between you two. To add more awkward to the moment, you both heard Cheryl moan. You closed your eyes, sighing shakily. Brian stood up, and began to get his clothes.
“What are you doing, Brian?” you stood up too, concerned.
“ 'M leaving.” he mumbled. “I've understood. You're fucking Roger!” he accentuated his name, almost yelling. You were shocked, eyes wide. Seeing you not answering he yelled suddenly “Fuck, I’m right. YOU'RE FUCKIN' IN LOVE WITH HIM AND YOU'RE FUCKING HIM BEHIND MY BACK!” All the noises from the next room stopped. “That's why you hate Cheryl.” You tried to keep Brian in your room but he was too angry. He dressed up and leaved. You were in the corridor, paralyzed.
Time goes by, you were lost in your thoughts. It’s when a blonde mop came in, without a shirt, worried that you came back to reality. You were just crying a little bit, looking at the door Brian just crossed. Roger hugged you from behind.
“I'm gonna fix it…“ he whispered softly.
You didn't believed that the loss of Brian would affect you this much. Cheryl was not here anymore -it was too awkward for her- and Roger was concerned about you. You were sleeping in his bed, looking for company. What a better company than your childhood best friend? Roger was trying to distract you. Playing you music, composing with you, playing scrabble, reading you his favourite book On The Road. You remained sad and kept your day in bed. He didn't knew exactly what happened since you wouldn’t tell him.
Month went by. Roger was trying to fix all that, to get Brian back in your arms. In fact, Brian was seeing another girl, which Roger didn't knew the identity. It was a pretty weird situation. One night, Roger opened suddenly your bedroom door. It was late and he was drunk, coming in your bed.
“Okay bub. I've find what you need. Another guy to shag.” he was a little bit bouncing, and his voice was shaking. You raised on your elbows, sleepily, and brushed his cheek with your hand, to catch his attention.
“Why are you so drunk, Rog'?” you looked anxious, looking straight ahead in his blue eyes.
“Cheryl broke up with me...” he lowered his eyes and let a tear fell down. Oh no. The next second, he was crying in your arms. “She cheated on me…!” he mumbled on your skin. You were petting his hair, pained.
“Do you know the guy…?” you asked softly, while his face was in your neck.
“Freddie, the new front man, y'know, said that he saw the man.” he was shaking more. You tightened your hug, trying to cradle him in your arms, petting his back.
“Fuck…” you cursed, “He discovered Cheryl cheated on you...” your voice was soft trying to calm the blonde. “Do you know more about it…?”
“It was in our dressing room, after the show...” he pulled back from you, softly, tears on his cheeks. “And it was with Brian.” you looked at him, breathless. Dizziness took you by surprise and you had to put both hands on your bed to hold on and not fall.
i hope you liked it!! leave a comment or reblog it to tell me your opinion! thanks a lot for reading it!
