i will not lie . that whole incident of sontails freaks taking my platonic sonic and tails art and passing it around as ship content on other sites without my knowledge is making me nervous to post any more art of them together i desperately do not want anything like that happening again

#ask to tag #this isnt me making up a guy to get mad at btw it actually happened. i just made one post about it and then deleted it a few hours later #because i was still in the process of getting the reposts taken down #and i was afraid theyd go through my blog and see me complaining about them and the situation would be made worse by that somehow #because in my experience s/ontails fans and people who are into weird stuff like that in general #really love harassing people for being uncomfortable with certain things #and before anyone tells me to just put a disclaimer on my posts that its not ship art. i already did that. it didnt stop them #plus i shouldnt HAVE to do that when the characters in question are siblings with an obvious big age gap #and theres nothing in the caption or tags or the drawing itself implying that its ship art #the people who see that stuff and treat it as ship art are obviously the weird ones in this situation #and son/tails people will act like this and then wonder why half the sonic fandom hates them. like
