I’m too lazy to analyze it someone do it for me but that part in the convo q!Bad had with q!Baghera where she says something like “The workers could have a family, they could be someone else’s egg” and q!Bad responds with “yeah I thought about it, that’s when I stopped uh…”

because that seems very important to me. it seems like a confirmation of the fact that q!Bad saw these workers as mindless drones and Walter Bob as an outlier, an mistake on the federation’s part. And then when Ron essentially confirmed that it wasn’t, that they all have feelings, he stopped.

Stopped what? Stopped seeing workers as nothing but extensions of the federation? Stopped psychologically torturing Ron? Stopped keeping him in a damp cage? Stopped resisting the urge to care?

Stopped what? No matter which option you pick, you learn that q!Bad thought about the workers in a certain light, learned information that potentially severely contradicted his belief, and then reflected and adjusted his own behavior accordingly. If the “that’s when I stopped…” was about to end in “torturing him” that feels like a huge… something… about q!Bad and his supposedly “unhinged” nature.

There are a couple natural conclusions to that sentence, almost all of them make q!Bad seem a lot more… something… than I’d originally given him credit for.

like this is just my late-night read but- it feels like guilt qbad is trying to twist into pride. he keeps needling away at it. “i killed them all, over and over and over again.” “they were hunted by a monster.”

it’s like- reassurance. like a nail he’s trying o beat into his head. he’s had SO much trouble with legitimately hurting his friends, despite making that vow all the way back when the eggs first went missing, despite all the tree talk and the promises to save the kids no matter what. He never faltered with elq, and that protected them. He keeps faltering now. Sometimes he doesnt remember the code, or cucurucho, or skeppy. But that doesnt matter, right? Because he’ll protect the eggs. He’ll be the monster. he is the monster. he can and he will protect them even as his seams start ripping and he keeps breaking further and further apart. even at his worst, he’ll do whatever he needs to protect the eggs.

Green Rod Would Totally Spread Mental Health Awareness Month As A Way To Show Solidarity With Her Mentor

For being an a straight ally to her for Pride Month, I like to think she would return the favor and be an ally to him during Men's Mental Health Awareness Month which takes place also in June.

I want to think after being brainwashed by Heed and Green Rod comes back to act as his full time sidekick I want to think she goes support him as he goes into therapy dealing with the fact that he was mentally enslaved for a year by who was supposed to be a close friend of his. I do think in the hero community there is a small stigma to get mental health but in cases like Omega who I think is sensitive he needs it. And seeing how Green Rod would be empathetic to him I would like to imagine she goes on social media for his sake to spread Men's Mental Health Awareness to indicate he's not alone. I do think it would be in her heroine persona and it's one of the few times she uses social media to spread clout because she cares for her mentor and wants him to know he's not alone.

I can also imagine Omega crying tears of joy after seeing what she did and says he couldn't ask for a better sidekick.

general life series designs for Grian and Joel :3 their wings are clipped bc they cant fly in the life series and ik other ppl draw them tied back or straight up vanished but i feel like this way makes the most sense? like it doesn't directly injure them (although birds with clipped wings are often clumsier and hurt themselves on accident more often) but evens the playing field a bit
