Crying shadow chronicles

When most people look themself up online they have to worry about less than suitable results. For dark shadow all they get is people telling them that they aren’t really a person :/

It’s sad that shadow constantly has to reaffirm their existence in this world, why does no one care, why does no one remember them. They know tokoyami cares at least but if they disappeared would anyone even notice? It’s no wonder they are so angry all the time, so desperate for attention.

Heyy ❤️ I'm not rly good at this stuff so I decided to write some theories and hcs that I actually liked so here you go-

- Monoma and Toga are related in some way. They're not that similar so I assume that they're further relatives. However, this doesn't make Monoma a traitor. I also think that Toga should be adopted by Vlad King so he could help her with her Quirk and her obsession with blood.

- Hawks has bird traits and he shows them on accident. There are certain traits he's embarrassed of but there's also stuff that makes him feel better about himself. He's never been in a relationship bc of HPSC but he's a helpless romantic.

- Dabi drives a motorcycle. Everyone assumes that he listens to trash metal when rly he only listens to sad rock bc he's a sad man. He cries when ppl are soft with him, he rarely experiences kindness. He avoids lov bc he's afraid of getting attached; they're all meant to die at some point so he doesn't want to suffer more than what he already does.

- Kaminari is not book smart but damn if he isn't smart in other ways. He knows the labour standards act, he pulls brainy jokes, he reads books, he expresses himself nicely, he draws pretty and plays an instrument. And he's a people pleaser above everything else.

- Since Dark Shadow is technically it’s own being, we can assume that Monoma would go through various scenarios when copying Tokoyami's Quirk; 1) Dark Shadow is attracted to humble souls and therefore shall obey em. If he comes across Monoma he'd refuse him. 2) Dark Shadow accepts him but Monoma would turn emo. 3) Monoma manages to copy Dark Shadow but then they fight each other. 4) Monoma gives him apples and Dark Shadow accepts him. 5) Monoma manages to copy Dark Shadow but Dark Shadow doesn't know how to respond to him because he doesn't trust him. He knows Tokoyami since he was a kid. 6) Dark Shadow doesn't like Monoma because he can't afford him all the darkness he's so found of. 7) Monoma manages to copy Dark Shadow but then Dark Shadow goes wild and drags Monoma everywhere because he doesn't know how to control him. 8) Dark Shadow obeys Monoma but shows clear signs of discomfort. 9) Monoma can't copy Dark Shadow. 10) Dark Shadow defies Monoma's commands and gradually takes over his body like with Tokoyami in ch79. 11) Monoma copies Dark Shadow and Dark Shadow obeys him. 12) Dark Shadow controls Monoma and not the other way around. 13) Monoma falls into a shock because he copied something alive. 14) Dark Shadow consumes negative emotions from Monoma and becomes larger and stronger. 15) Can Dark Shadow drain emotions? Monoma could easily end up in a hospital or a mental institution.

- Monoma and Aoyama are good friends ever since Monoma complimented him in the light novels (BNHA Light Novel vol3, ch3).

- Bakugou has hearing problems but he's not deaf. He never let anyone enter his dorm room bc he has just as much AM merch as Deku and it's embarrassing.

- Ms. Joke is not as happy irl. She's just wearing a facade to make others happy even when she's not. + There's no way Aizawa isn't aware of it bc they share some history and we never got the exact details from Horikoshi.

- Geten would be so much cooler if he was a girl and the fandom would simp for him just like they did for Lady Nagant but no one is ready for that debate.

- Dad for one is true. He wants to possess Shigaraki and for Yoichi to possess Deku so he and his bro could continue their war with healthy and strong bodies.

- Hagakure loves body paint, especially the glowing one. Since outfits stand out on her the most, she was thinking ab pursuing her career in modeling.

- Natsuo's mouse girlfriend is secretly a badass. Look, I just want to see more girl characters in this series.

- Shigaraki would be the best boyfriend bc he never loved anything, so loving someone for the first time would make you a special person. He's v insecure ab his looks and doubts himself in whether he actually deserves you. He's the type of guy to turn from cold blooded to the most loving person. But if you ever cheat on him he won't hesitate to disintegrate you.

- Villain Deku and Toga would have Joker and Harley Quinn vibes but healthy.

- Dabi eats at Cracker Barrel. He's a common guest there and he always takes Giran's money so they wouldn't throw him out. The waitress can't believe how much bacon this mysterious man can eat.

- Hawks loves when you massage him at the base of his wings. He loves you so much for it.

- Miruko is a gamer and her and Shigaraki play together without having the slightest idea that it's actually them. One day they decided to meet each other bc they became good friends and when they stood there in Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall it was rly awkward.

- Tokoyami and Aoyama get along rly well and Aoyama paints their nails in their dorm rooms.

- Dabi is jealous bc Re-Destro supports Geten all the time and it's the same mentality except Endeavor never supported Dabi. Geten likes to tease him ab it.

- Todoroki is no.1 Yaoyorozu simp. He's not aware that it became obvious.

- Aizawa realized his dream despite Midnight not being alive anymore. He got a cat tower for his hero agency that he always wished for (Vigilantes ch65). Sushi is alive but still very old. Midnight boys (Vigilantes ch6.5) are still visiting her grave despite having different lives now.

- Fuyumi hasn't dated anyone bc Endeavor would kill them. He has the audacity to play a strict parent (BNHA Light Novel vol2, ch4) when he never looked towards Fuyumi's and Natsuo's general direction for years. He actually doesn't have anything against Hawks but if he ever called him "dad" it would give him shivers.

- We all know that Shigaraki lives from Mountain Dew, Doritos and pure spite. However, he treats Toga nicely bc he wishes he had similar relationship with Hana.

- When it's rly hot outside Hawks fluffs up his wings so he could let go of some heat. Everyone wants to pet his fluffy wings and the heat returns. Poor guy.

- Dabi called Compress "dad" at some point and he's regretting it bc Compress is now unironically calling him "son".

- Shigaraki and Spinner used to play games on the same TV which afo used to contact them and whenever he wanted to talk, the screen turned black and the guys would complain.

- Compress misses the time when Kurogiri used to be around.

- Giran is a cool uncle that has a sweet niece and he loves her v much but bc he's a bad guy working with the bad guys, he's not visiting anymore but sends her nice gifts.

- Yaoyorozu family owns a weapon company bc this is the only explanation why she knows how to create a canon.

- Jirou and her dad play guitars and sing in their music studio whenever Jirou feels off. Her dad is a dork and he always makes her smile. Jirou has the best dad.

- Kaminari's mom is a hero (Heroes Rising movie).

Demon (Boku No Hero) - Chapter 20

It was the morning after the encounter with Stain and everyone was in the hospital, I sigh when I heard a notification, I pick up the phone and I see two messages, one from Katsuki and the other from Hawks, I click on the Katsuki message first.

Angry Pomeranian:

I heard Stain attacked Hosu. I hope your fucking ass weren’t there!

Me:

Sorry...I...can’t...hear you...bad connection...

Angry Pomeranian:

THIS IS A TEXT! I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!

Me:

Talk to you later! Bye!

Still laughing, imagining Katsuki angry face, I open Hawks message.

Cannibal Bird:

You are so in trouble, young lady! How can you go to a fight and didn’t even invite me or Tokoyami! But serious don’t do that again, that was stupid and dangerous. Will talk later.

I’m so proud of you my little baby bird, you’re just like me!

Me:

Hawks....I’m nothing like you, I’m way better! And I’m sorry I left without telling you, I hope you’re not in much trouble. I’ll see you later, cannibal bird.

I laugh even more seeing Hawks bipolar texts, he doesn’t even know how to react. “Excuse me? Do you know where my friends are?” I ask a nurse before she left my room. “Their in the next room, dear.” She says smiling. “Thank you!” I smile at her and wait for her to leave, so I can get up.

“Hey.” I say entering the boy’s hospital room. “Aka-chan!” Izuku says looking at me worried. “Aka.” Shoto nods at me. “Aka-san!” Lida says. “You guys look worse than me.” I say laughing seeing they have more bandage than me. “Are you okay Aka-chan?” Izuku asks worried while I sit on the free bed next to Lida. “I’m fine, just some scratches and some mental scars for life.” I say trying to joke. “Right...” Izuku whispers. “I just want to say sorry, for yesterday. Sorry Lida, and I’m sorry for your brother.” I say not looking at them. “What do you mean Ak....?” Lida was asking only to be interrupted by someone entering. “Oh, are you wounded kids awake? Ah, I see you here too, girl.” Izuku and Lida internship heroes enter the room. “Gran Torino.” Izuku says. “Manual-san.” Lida says sad. “Kid, I’ve got a lot of complaints for you.” Gran Torino says getting near Izuku. “Oh! S... Sorr...” Izuku tries to apologize. “But before that, you’ve got a visitor.” Gran Torino continues and all of us look at the door to see a huge human...dog. “Hosu’s chief of police, Kenji Tsuragamae.” Gran Torino finishes. “Shit.” I think while Lida, Shoto and I stand up. “Oh, you can just stay seated, woof.” The chief says to Izuku who was trying to get up. “Woof?” I whisper. “You must be the U.A. students who brought down the hero killer, right?” The chief asks us. “Yes.” Shoto answers. “Regarding the hero killer we arrested...” Chief continues. “He had some serious injuries, with burns and broken bones, and is receiving treatment under strict guard, woof.” He says. “So his still alive.” I think. “Since you are U.A. students, I’m sure you already know that when superpowers were still becoming the norm, the police attached high importance to leadership and standards, and made sure Quirks were not used as weapons.” The chief says. “We are so fucked!” I think scared. “And then, the profession of “hero” emerged to fill that gap, woof.” Chief says then starts explaining stuff while I’m cursing inside my head knowing we were going to be expelled and put to prison then I pay attention again when Shoto explodes. “Isn’t it a hero’s job to save people?” Shoto screams. “That is why you are not a full-fledged hero yet. Goodness, what are you being taught by U.A. and Endeavor, woof?” The chief of police responds to him. “You dog.” Shoto says angry, going towards him. “Go Shoto!” I say making Izuku and Gran Torino look at me, one scared and the other thinking while Lida tries stopping Shoto then Gran Torino stops him. “Hang on a minute. Hear him out until the end.” He says. “That was the official opinion of the police, and the punishment and such would only happen if this were all made public, woof.” The chief says. “So, what does that mean exactly?” I ask. “If it is not public, the burn scars would support Endeavor being the hero who saved the day, and it would end there, woof. Thankfully, there were very few witnesses. This would mean no one would know about your good judgment or achievements. What do you prefer, be recognized and receive punishment or Endea...” Chief says and this time I explode, and I stay in front of Shoto screaming. “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! No way in hell I’m going to let that mother fucking Endeavor take our credits! Choose other! I prefer get my punis....” I was silence by a hand on my mouth and then being force on a bed where Izuku looked me, so I was silence and trapped. “Please continue.” Izuku says nervous. “Very well. Personally, I don’t want to be the one to find fault with promising young ones because of one big mistake, woof.” The chief says giving us thumbs up. “Either way, we will need to take responsibility for being negligent in our supervisory duties.” Manual says then everyone apologizes. “I’m not apologizing anything! We did...” I say now up then two hand force me to bow. “Please Aka-chan...” Izuku whispers, but I just stay silence then the chief of police bows to us. “I can say thank you.”

Later that day, I was discharged from the hospital first than the others, so after being yelled and praised by Hawks our attention went to the news. “Endeavor finally catch the hero killer...” The reporter says. “FUCK ENDEAVOR MOTHERFUCKER IT WASN’T HIM DAMMIT! WHY HIM?” I scream angry. “What do you have against Endeavor?! His amazing!” Hawks screams at me in disbelief. “Who likes an asshole like him, who doesn’t know how to raise his kids!” I scream at Hawks while he screams back facts about how great Endeavor is. “Why am I here?” Tokoyami says sighing tired.

The next day I woke up by my phone ringing, it was Dad calling me. “My daughter! Gran Torino called me.” Dad says the moment I pick up. “Shit...” I whisper. “Language! Did you see him? Did he...?” Dad asks. “Yes...he knows...” I say knowing immediately want he wanted to know. “I see...how are you?” He asks. “Better than I thought I would be.” I answer him honestly. “Okay.” He says. “I want to talk to him.” I suddenly say, but I knew Dad wasn’t surprised. “We’ll talk after the internships, and I’ll see what I can do.” He says. “Thanks Dad.” I say. “Your welcome, my daughter. And thank you for helping Young Midoriya.” He says. “Of course Dad.” I say and we both say goodbye.

Five days had passed since our internships started, Hawks have been training me and Tokoyami better than I thought, even if he teases us and make us his slaves. Today, the three of us were patrolling the streets, Hawks sent Tokoyami to one direction while he sent me to other, and he would switch time to time with us, now he was with me. “How about some chicken, booby bird?” He asks me, flashing his red wings. “First, stop with the name, second you ate chicken like an hour ago!” I say to him. “That’s too long!” He complains, and I was going to answer him before I heard a familiar voice. “Katsuki?” I ask, looking at the source of the voice. “Oh? That’s Best Jeaninst. HEY!” Hawks screams waving making the two look at us. “Hawks.” Best Jeanist says approaching us. “Hey Kat....AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!” I start laughing hard when I see Katsuki hair. “SHUT UP YOUR DEMON!” Katsuki yells angry. “What happen to your hair? Oh my god, I need to take a picture for your mom!” I say laughing too much. “LIKE HELL YOU WILL BITCH!” Katsuki yells only for Best Jeanist to punch him in his head. “Is that how you treat your girlfriend?” Best Jeanist says making us both blush while Hawks giggles at us. “SHE’S/I’M NOT HIS/MY GIRLFRIEND!” We both scream. “Fuck this shit. Let’s go Hawks!” I say, blushing hard. “Alright, alright, Miss Tomato.” Hawks says laughing. “Bye Katsuki! Best Jeanist.” I say waving them goodbye wanting to leave them as quickly ad I could.

“If that’s how you’re going to treat the girl you like, I’m really sad for her.” Best Jeanist says to Katsuki. “Shut up!” Katsuki whispers.

Then with a blink of an eye, the days of internship are over, so Tokoyami and I are in front of a very sad Hawks. “I’m going to miss you guys so much!” He says with fake tears. “We’re going to miss you too, Hawks.” I say smiling to the bird man. “Come here Boob Bird, Face Bird!” Hawks says to us, hugging us both very tight. “Hawks!” I say feeling squeezed. “Hawks...” I heard Tokoyami whisper. “LET GO, BIRD MAN!” Dark Shadow yells coming out of Tokoyami. “Fine, fine! Goodbye guys and stay out of trouble!” Hawks says letting us go.

School day came quickly and right now I was in the middle of Kirishima and Sero, us dying of laugh seeing Katsuki still with the weird hair. “AHAHAHAHAHAHA. It’s the second time I see, but I still can’t stop laughing!” I say happy while Katsuki glares at us very angry. “Seriously?! Seriously, Bakugo?!” Both guys say dying of laugh. “Stop laughing! My hair’s gotten used to it, so it won’t go back even after I wash it!” Katsuki says, trembling in anger. “Hey, stop laughing! I’ll kill you!” Katsuki continues while we can’t stop laughing. “I’d like to see you try, Side-Part Boy!” Sero says making me have to support on Kirishima laughing too hard. “What did you say?!” Bakugo screams, and suddenly we heard a puff and I look at him. “Oh my god, it’s back! That was more hilarious, ahahahahaha!” I say making the boy still laugh. “There, there, Katsuki. It’s back, don’t worry about it that much.” I say petting his now normal hair. “Shut up.” He whispesr calmly making me shock but then smile at him.

We smile at each other until someone talked to me. “...were you three, right? And you Aka-san?” Kaminari says. “Hm?” I ask confused. “Oh yeah! The hero killer!” Sero says making me tense up, then I feel a hand on my hand and with the corner of my eyes, I see that it’s Katsuki who is glaring at Sero. “I’m glad you guys made it out alive! Seriously.” Kirishima says, then everyone started talking about it and I started trembling, for fear, sadness or angry, I didn’t know. “Come on, let’s sit. I’m going to tell you everything that Best Jeanist did to me.” Katsuki says ignoring everyone, making me sit on my place while he sits on his and starts talking making me stop listening to the others while I smile at him. “Thank you, Katsuki.” I think watching his face while he talks.

Everyone was in front of All Might, everyone in their hero costumes, and I could feel someone’s eyes on me. “If you take a picture it will last longer.” I say flirting to Katsuki. “Why if I have the real thing in front o me?” He flirts back, smirking. “Kacchan...and Aka-chan...are flirting...oh my god...” Izuku mumbles quietly while Ochaco giggles beside him. “Anyway, we’ll start now. Right. It’s hero basic training! Long time no see, boys and girls! How have you been? We’ll have some fun with a rescue training race today!” All Might says. “If we are doing rescue training, then shouldn’t we do it at USJ?” Lida asks. “That place is for training for disasters. Do you remember what I said? That’s right! I said race!” All Might responds to him. “This is Field Gamma! A dense are filled with factories laid out like an intricate labyrinth. You’ll break up into three groups of five-person groups and one of six-person groups, and go through the training one group at a time It’s a race to see who will rescue me first!” All Might explains too excited. “Of course, you’ll have to keep damage to the building to a minimum.” All Might says pointing at Katsuki making me laugh. “Don’t point at me!” Katsuki says embarrassed then we started, the first group went, and Sero won, then others groups went and it was finally my group turn. “Good luck everyone.” I say to them smirking. “Aka is going to win.” Katsuki says to the others who were watching. “I think that too.” Izuku says. “Who said you could agree with me, DEKU?!” Katsuki screams. “Ready? Go!” All Might screams, then everyone starts running while I stay in my place. “What the hell is she doing?” Katsuki asks confused then suddenly I disappear. “I win!” I say touching All Might. “.......huh?” All Might says confused. “WHAT?!” Everyone screams. “Young Aka how did you arrive so fast?” All Might asks me shocked. “ I teleported here.” I say smiling while my group sighs for losing. “That’s my girl.” Katsuki thinks smiling.

Chapter 4 - New friends

(I'm so sorry for posting in the wrong day! I swear that I had completely forgotten that yesterday was Friday, I hope you all can forgive me with this extra long chapter (around 3300 words)

I get inside the class and look around, for what it seems I'm the only one that is "flashy". Sighing I go to the back knowing that if I stay at the front I will block a lot of people's views.

I go sit down by the window at the left of some guy with purple hair that looks like could use a nap right now. After sitting down I look outside and see the pretty blue sky and sigh again waiting for the signal.

"Wow your wings are so pretty!" A random girl come up to me with her friend by her side

"Oh, hmmm... thank you" I blush lightly making the tip of my wings go pink

"It looks so smooth and fluffy!" She goes to put a hand in my wings but I stop her getting to my feet and pushing her back, both wings totally closed next to my body

"Please don't touch me" the tip of my wings get red "And especially don't touch my wings" she looks at me scared and both of them runs off "oh fuck... just what I needed" I sigh frustrated passing a hand on my h/c hair undoing some knots "Now I won't even have friends in this class" I sit down defeated and go back to looking out of the window.

I hear someone chuckle besides me and I look at him.

"What is so funny?" My eyebrow quirk up looking at him with curiosity

"Nothing really" the boy with purple hair just waves me off

"Hmmm... if you say so..." my wings go back to gray and I hear the bell going off seeing the teacher getting inside the classroom makes me release a breath I didn't know I was holding "good god it isn't him" I whisper to myself

The boy with purple hair snickers and I glare at him.

"Takami y/n?"

I look at the teacher "Here sir" I raise my hand

The teacher looks at me surprised and then looks back at my file. "Okay... Totoro Tonton"

I go back to look to the sky no longer paying attention to the teacher.

'So pretty... hu? What's that?' I see a ball flying in the sky with a trail off smoke behind it 'what th-'

"Hey, angel" someone waved his hand in front of my face

"Don't call me that!" The tip of my wings get red "Call me Takami" I look at the person to see the boy with purple hair that sits beside me

"Yeah yeah, we are the last ones in class, let's go to the auditorium, everyone must already be there" he turns around giving me his back and walk out of the classroom

"Hey! Wait!" I run and follow him out "purple guy, wait up" I walk by his side "thank you for calling me, why no one else came to call me?" I tilt my head trying to think about why this guy was the one that called me "oh! Sorry I'm not saying that I have a problem with you! I just didn't expect it because-"

"Because I look like a villain?" He said it with poison in his words his expression showed that he was angry

"No..." he looks at me with suspicion "it's because you look antisocial... and I didn't expect that someone that looks like don't sleep at night called for me"

He chuckles and stop looking at me "you will say that until you discover my quirk then you will be just like any other person" his eyes showed sadness, but he had a smirk in his face

"Try me"

"What?" He looks at me confused

"Try me! You will never be sure until you try! Like... the worst that can happen is me stopping talking with you, the best that can happen is you having a new friend!" I smile, my wings get all yellow "go on! Tell me, what's your quirk?"

He sighs and look away, his hand in his neck, and he's looking to the opposite side of where I am. "It's called brainwash, I can make someone follow any order with them just answering my question"

"Oh... my god..." I look at him astonished "that's... that's just... SO UNFAIR!"

He looks at me puzzled "what do you mean by 'unfair' ?"

"That quirk is so cool! And you can be such a great hero! You won't even need to get in fights! Oh my god, I'm so jealous!" I look at him and see his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide in surprise "and! You can just make every villain confess his crime by using your quirk! That's like... half of the job done! It's like... the perfect power to be a hero!"

He is just staring at me like I just eat a hole pineapple with peel

"Oh! Look out!" I hold him back saving him from almost hitting the wall "Man! Look where you are goin-"

He smiles and pet me from nowhere

'What? Why? Hmmmm... okay' I just shrug my shoulders and tilt my head to his hand, he is taller than me so the size difference is just perfect

He is the first to step back blushing "s-sorry..." he puts his hand back in his neck and looks aside

"Omg so cute..." I whisper to myself, gladly he didn't listen

"I... hm... just felt like I should pet you... sorry"

I smile and pet his head.

"That's fine, I also have the urge to hug people sometimes, and it's okay to hug others when you are friends with them isn't it?" I tilt my head to the side and stop petting him

"Friends?... oh! Yeah... sure" he goes back to normal and put his hands in his pockets "I'm Shinso Hitoshi"

My wings are full yellow "nice to meet you Shinso-kun!" I smile and go back to the way to the auditorium "let's take care of one another"

"Yeah..." he has a small smile in his face as he follows me.

--------timeskip to after school

"So... what's up with your wings?"

We were getting out of school and I stop at the entrance looking at him "What do you- oh! This??" I point a finger to my wings that still were kinda yellow "My quirk is called Mood Wing, take a wild guess" I giggle

"Hehe, gotcha... what are you waiting for?" He said looking around

"My crow, he likes to walk with me, so I need to wait for him here so then I can go home"

"You can talk to birds too?" He quirks an eyebrow

"No, not really, but they just seem like they can understand me..."

"Oh... you have more than one bird?"

"Not really, just a crow and a husky, they are very smart!"

"Oh yeah? Like how smart?" He tilts his head

"Like this smart" I point at the sky to the crow coming into view "VOID! HERE" I wave at him, and he comes right to my shoulder rubbing his head on my cheek making me smile "I missed you too"

Shinso looks surprised at the crow "oh my god... she's kinda small isn't she?"

"HE was the smallest of one to hatch, Since the probability for him to die was bigger I decided to fight the odds and help him, and here we are"

"And you also have a smart dog I presume?"

"Hell yeah! She is just lazy but with that aside we make it easy" I go back to walking side by side with Shinso on my right, and Void on my right shoulder inspecting him "sorry about this, he is really jealous of males around me, that includes you of course"

"It's fine, he doesn't bother me" his hand goes to scratch his chin making the bird jump to his shoulder and stay there

"Hey!"

Shinso chuckles "I think I'm his new favorite" he scratched Void's chin just like I did

"Oh! I have to get groceries before heading home..." we keep walking to the same direction

"...I know the crow don't have much of a brain like ours, but you should be heading home!" He snickers at that

"I AM! You are a creepy dude to be following me home!" I poke his shoulder

"Why don't you just fly home?" He keeps walking with his hands in his pockets and my crow on his shoulder

"Because I can't fly" I look ahead avoiding eye contact

"What do you mean 'you can't fly'? You were born with those things in your back didn't you?"

"I did but... they never let me use them... or show them around..." my wings start to get a deep blue

"Well... they do now! So that's good right?" He rubs the back of his neck smiling sheepishly

"Hehe... thank you for trying to cheer me up, but they didn't... I live alone now... that's why I can show them off..." there is a dark ocean blue in all my wing, I stop in front of the supermarket "well... see you tomorrow Shinso-kun... I need to get my groceries and take care of my pets..." I look at Void, and he just goes to my head and lay down there

"Do you... want to talk about it?" He looked at me concerned

'That's really kind of him... getting worried about someone that he just meet'

"No... not really, see you tomorrow, bye" I wave at him, and he waves back, then I go inside the supermarket to buy my stuff.

'Okay... I need rice, meat, spaghetti, vegetables, milk, dog food, some chicken maybe... ugh! I should have made a list, but it's kinda easy since I have nothing at home...' I get a cart and start putting all the things I need on it.

I try to reach something that was on the top shelf but someone get it for me since I can't reach it, when I turn around I see a guy with a bird head, and my juice box in his hand.

"Here, you looked like you needed help"

"And I really did need it" I smile at him and get the juice box "thank you" my wings go from deep ocean blue to a grayish yellow

"Your wings... they are changing!" He looked at them surprised

"Hehehe yes they did, it's kinda my quirk, it's called Mood Wing, what's yours?"

He nods his head "hmmm... basicly I can do this" a dark shape comes from him out of no where, I yelp and back off hitting the shelf behind me "sorry! I didn't wanted to scare you..."

I smile again looking at the shape "It's like a shadow! He looks so cool!"

"Thank you! You bird looks cool too!" The thing says

"Omg! You are sentient! That is like... a best friend that is bond to you! That is awesome!"

"Caw!" Void called our atenttion to him

"Oh! Right, this is Void, my crow and my best friend" I put my hand on him "he's very sweet when he wants, but normally he's just an ass" I chuckle

"And this is Dark Shadow, my friend and my quirk" Dark shadow's hand extand and I shake it

"Wow! You are solid! You really are amazing aren't you Dark Shadow?" I tilt my head realesing his hand

"T-thank you!" He gets shy and goes back inside waving his hand to me before fully vanishing

"I see that you are using a U.A uniform too, what is your class?" I ask him

"1-A"

"Oh! You are on the hero course! I'm in general studies 1-E, my name is Takami Y/n, it's nice to meet you" I estend my hand for him

"Tokoyami Fumikage" he shake my hand

"You two will be great heros I'm sure of it"

He blushes and looks to the ground "thank you... do you want to be a hero too?" He looks back at me

"I do! And I will! But... I don't know how to fight and stuff... I have no one to teach me..." I look down and sigh

"Maybe I can help you with that"

"What??! Really?" I look at him full of hope

"I don't know much but... yes I can teach you the best I can" he nods his head

I feel myself tearing up and can't help but hug him

"Thank you Tokoyami-kun!" I hide my face in the crook of his neck "you don't know how much this means to me..." he pats my back awkwardly and I realese him "sorry... I-I shouldn't have done this..." I look to my side embarrassed, my wings get a light pink all over them

"It's fine, we from the hero couse have an area for us to train, I will ask my classroom teacher to see if he can let you train there with me" I smile brightly at that

"Yes please! Oh! It's better if we keep contact with each other don't you think?" I get my phone from my jacket pocket "here, please put your number, when I get home I will text you okay?"

He just nods and puts his phone number in my phone "Sadly I have to go, see you later" he gives back my phone and bow to me, I bow back and wave at him, seeing him go to the cashier.

"Okay Void, time to go back to doing groceries" I go back to doing groceries with a smile in my face and my wings full yellow.

'Two friends, I made two friends today! This is easier then I though!'

I finish putting everything in its place and go change my clothes to something to train, just some hood and some leggings.

"Okay... Void come with me, I need help from someone that can fly" I go to the door, Void comes flying and stays in the top of my head "Haru I'm gonna take you tomorrow so don't be sad" Haru hides her head in the middle of the couch and winner "sorry girl, lets sleep together okay?"

I go outside and go to the place that Hawks gave me the address, it was very far but safe "big brother was right here is a good place to train flying" I look around and then look up to the setting sun on the sky "let's begin!"

Everything hurt from all the times that I fell, I have scratches all over my hand and my clothes are kinda turned and bloody, I'm laying on the floor trying to catch my breath when I hear someone approaching making me jump fast on my feet but I got up too fast and now everything hurts even more "How's the- ouch!" I fell on my butt and look up to see Hawks.

"Calm down it's just me" he chuckles and comes closer "you look like you could use some help" he offers his hand with a smile in his face

"I do don't I?" I get up with his help, Void comes flying to me with a bottle of water "Thanks" I get the water and drink it

"Oh my god! You can talk to animals too??"

"Hehehe, no he's just really smart" I drink everything and hand the bottle back "trow it in the trash please?" He does as requested and fly to my head laying down there

"It's pretty late, you should go home, your parents must be worried" Hawks put his hand on my shoulder "it's almost midnight, the bad guys would love to see an exhausted cute little girl alone in this secluded area"

"Almost midnight?! Oh, no! I have class tomorrow morning!" I start to panic and try limp my way home but Hawks stops me before I can even start

"Hey hey hey! Calm down little bird, let me take you home, okay? I would feel bad if something happened to you" he puts his hand over his heart

"I don't know" I look to the side unsure

"Come on! I can talk to your parents, so they won't be so angry at you for getting home late" he smiles "So...?"

I sigh and put Void inside my pocket in the way he likes "okay" I nod I get closer to him

"Let's fly!" He picks me up bridal style and fly off

"OH MY GOD" I hug his neck and look down amazed by the view "THIS IS SO COOL!"

"Please stop shouting! I can hear you just fine" he gives me a pained look

"Ops... sorry, I'm just excited" I feel the wind in my face and hair loving the feeling

"It's cool isn't it?"

"Cool? This is awesome!" I giggle looking around "I can't wait to be able to fly on my on... oh! My house is in the other direction!"

"What?! And you just tell me now??"

"I just noticed, and you didn't even ask, you just flew away" he sighs and start going to the right way "so... what's your name?"

"Oh! Did you forget? It's y/n"

"No I didn't I want to know your surname" he keeps looking forward

"I prefer that you call me by my first name... just don't ask... okay?"

"Hmmm.... fine little bird, you win" he has a small smile in his face

After a short time we get there and I tell him to put me on the balcony that has a husky by the glass door.

He does as asked and look inside "where are your parents?"

I look to the side nervous and open the glass door to let Haru say hi to us both "working... are you thirsty?" I get inside after taking my shoes off "you can keep your boots on, I can just clean the floor later"

"Yeah, a cup of water would be good" he says while getting inside and petting Haru

"That one is Haru" I take out Void from my pocket, and he flies to the couch "make yourself at home" I limp to the kitchen to grab a cup of water for him. I can hear him walking in the house, even if he doesn't make a sound I can hear Haru following him around

"Here" I go back to the living room with a glass of water and see him looking at my pictures

He looks at me and grabs the water "thank you" he smiles and drink everything fast "would you like for me to wait with you for your parents?"

"NO!" I end up shouting and see his surprised face turn into a serious one.

"Okay, enough... I know you are lying, tell me the truth, you live in this one-bedroom apartment, have no pictures of your parents or anyone else in your walls and shelves, and you don't even tell me your surname, there is no signal of other people living in this house" he looks scary when angry

I step back from him and look at the floor, my wings getting dark

"Did you runaway?"

"No..."

"Where they abusive?"

"N-no...?"

"Did they touch you in some sexual wa-"

"NO!"

"Did they trow you out?"

I stay silent just looking at the floor, my wings get all black.

"I will take that as and yes... do you need help?"

"No" I look up to his eyes, golden concerned eyes meet with e/c empty eyes "they give me an allowance and pay my bills to keep me away from them, so no... I don't need help, if you have finished already please leave" I turn my back to him and go to the bathroom stopping right at the door "I need no hero" then I go take a bath.

The entire 1-A class got hit by a quirk swapping villain! It’s all randomized and I spent a bunch of time on this! Please draw what they would look like and dm me!

Lida

 - He was lucky enough to get Denki’s quirk

 - Didn't even notice for a few seconds

 - Only realized when he couldn’t run anymore

 - His engines were simply gone ~ POOF!

 - It was only when he looked at his hair and saw bright yellow

 - Immediately runs away as fast as his weak, human legs can take him

 - When they tell him what happens, he forces Kaminari to tell him how to use it

 - “I don’t know, you just... do the thing.”

 - “Well what thing because on page four of using your quirk, it says that...”

 - When Iida gets the hang of it, he doesn’t like to use it

 - He’s terrified of hurting someone, and since he isn’t experienced, he doesn’t want to go brain-dead either

Asui

 - She got Deku’s quirk

 - She doesn’t like how big her arms get

 - All Might immediately helps her since he doesn’t want her to break any bones

 - She doesn’t fully grasp the concept and chooses not to use the quirk

 - She’s seen how bad Deku can get

 - She is overjoyed at something else though

 - “My tongue Mina! Look at my tongue!”

 - Everyone finds out Asui has a beautiful singing voice

 - She’s almost sad to get her own quirk back

 - But it’s okay

 - She can’t hurt herself with her own quirk ~ribbit

 Aoyama

 - He was able to get Sero’s quirk

 - “Well you didn’t hear this from me but it’s truly unfashionable.”

 - “Look at me, the human tape dispenser of 1-A.”

 - “Ugh, I can’t even wear my fur jacket because my elbows are too thick.”

 - “Sero, how do you wear long sleeves with this thing?!”

 - Aoyama doesn’t want to use the quirk, it’s just not “flowing with his vibe”

 - He wears his fancy jackets for the entire month after the quirk wears off

 - He got Momo’s quirk

 - At first he’s sad, his unmanly quirk is gone for an entire week!

 - But then he realizes that he can walk around shirtless for an entire week

 - He likes being able to make food in an instant, he just doesn’t like it when Aizawa insists that he know the basic molecules of certain things

 - “When am I going to use this? I will never have to make an umbrella in my life!”

 - He likes to stick to food, especially liking that he can make any meal better than Bakugo

 - “Dude! I could solve world hunger from my abs!”

 - “Woah, imagine if I could make a car from my abs.”

 - “Can I make wings like Hawks?!

 - When the week ends, Kirishima is kinda disappointed 

 - But Bakugo is happy he got his cooking buddy back

Koda

 - He got Uraraka’s quirk

 - He’s super excited honestly, he likes being able to fly

 - “I feel like a feather.”

 - Ochako is happy to be able to teach him how

 - “Let’s just stay indoors. We don’t need you floating off to space.”

 - Koda almost wants to go to space

 - Once he learns how to use it, he uses all his time zooming around the dorms

 - Once Aizawa takes them outside to train, he just floats around in the air

 - Aizawa lets him

 - He knows this precious baby needs some relaxation with the clouds

 - He also likes the birds

 - He can’t speak to them though, which is frustrating for him

 - “How do you not remember me? I fed you dinner last night!”

Ojiro

 - He got Tokoyami’s quirk

 - One second his tail was there, the next second it was a mean looking bird

 - Ojiro likes taking his bird on walks, he doesn’t really know what to do with it

 - He talks to the bird sometimes, and for some reason he can understand it

 - “Dark Shadow seems too emo. Let’s try Gregory.”

 - The bird agrees 100%

 - When Ojiro is training, Gregory is too powerful sometimes

 - “How do you control your own shadow?!”

 - Training sessions with Aizawa is just one big mess for Ojiro

 - Nothing gets accomplished accept Ojiro talking to Thompson and Thompson trying to attack anyone who gets close

 - Ojiro is so excited to get his tail back, but it sad that Tokoyami won’t take the same request

Sato

 - Sato has Mineta’s quirk

 - Sato doesn’t come out of his room for the entire week

 - Everyone understands

Hagakure

 - She got Sato’s quirk

 - She makes a bunch of sweets as an excuse to eat all of it

 - But that’s not a big deal at all to her

 - She’s not invisible anymore!

 - The moment she realizes that she isn’t invisible, she goes crazy

 - She’s actually kind of tan

 - Not only that but she’s gorgeous!

 - Thick brown hair, green eyes, and she’s so skinny

 - Her face alone has everyone in 1-A dropping dead

 - Some of the guys can’t believe it

 - They’ve chatted with this girl for months and had no idea

 - She wants to ask Ojiro on a date, but what happens when the quirk wears off

 - It does wear off, but nobody cares

 - They always knew she was pretty, and this just confirmed it for sure

Shoji

 - He got Hagakure’s quirk

 - What’s not to love about being invisible?

 - The strange part to him is that he can still see himself

 - All of his extra arms are gone!

 - That’s sad, all of his shirts were custom for those arms

 - He borrows clothes from his friends

 - It’s funny to see a robe and bunny slippers walking around at midnight though

Deku

 - He got Todoroki’s quirk

 - It’s okay though! He’s got his creepy notebook!

 - Todoroki gladly give him teaching on how to use it

 - “Remember, flames do damage and ice can be used to capture things.”

 - Deku knows all of this from his “research”

 - But that doesn’t stop them from spending everyday training together

 - It’s fun... and “helpful”

 - Deku loves being his own microwave and freezer

 - He accidently catches things on fire from time to time

 - He got scared by a movie and froze half the couch

 - Todoroki kissed him and he burned half his shirt off

 - “How do you control this thing?!”

Ururaka

 - She got Mina’s quirk

 - “Yay! I got acid hands! I got acid hands!”

 - Mina makes her wear oven mitts

 - She accidently burns a hole through her bed while having nightmares

 - “High five! Wait... never mind.”

 - “Mina, teach me how to do the thing!”

 - Also let’s not forget that Ochako has pink skin, horns, and alien eyes

 - “Ooh, I look so cute!”

 - Ochako spends most of her time posing in front of the mirror

 - “Look at my horns Kirishima!”

 - “Mina, look at my eyes!”

Denki

 - He got Iida’s quirk

 - Whenever he runs, he ends up going sonic on people

 - “Denki, take a lap!”

 - “I don't think you want that Mr. Aizawa.”

 - Whenever Denki tries to use Iida’s quirk, it’s always a quick fail

 - So far Denki has taken out a trash can, Present Mic, tripped on a basketball, run into a tree, faceplant into dirt, and accidently swallow a bug

 - The worst part is that Denki sleep walks

 - Running into stuff, tripping over a potted plant, falling down a flight of stairs

 - “This is better than being brain dead I guess.”

 - Denki spends most of his time making fun of Iida by waving his arms like a robot and trying on multiple pairs of glasses at once

 - Iida demands that Kaminari trains

 - “Kaminari, you will read all of these books on how to operate engine legs or else!”

 - Kaminari must admit the engine legs are cool

 - Except when Kirishima put hot dogs in them

 - The entire class room smelled like burnt meat

Jiro

 - “Cool! I look like a frog!”

 - She got Asui’s quirk

 - Her hair turned green, her tongue grew, and her pupils dialated

 - “Asui, look at this!”

 - She uses her tongue to swing off the dusty chandelier when Iida isn’t looking

 - “Ew! They should make tongue condoms!”

 - Jiro and Ochako have a blast teasing Mina and Asui

 - “Ribbit bitch! Your frog queen has arrived!”

 - Denki gets Jiro a crown to wear around the dorms

 - Ochako buys the four girls frog onesies

 - “So kawaii!”

 - Jiro never was into swimming until now

 - She likes that her fingers don’t get wrinkly

Sero

 - He got Ojiro’s quirk

 - “Dude, look at my tail!”

 - Bakugo makes fun of his “backwards dick”

 - It’s funny, but not that funny

 - In return Sero whips him with it

 - “I feel like a monkey!”

 - Sero hangs from everything he can

 - “This thing has more muscles than I do!”

 - He goes to a playground nearby with Denki and swings off the monkey bars

Tokayami

 - He got Koda’s quirk

 - “I’ve never been much about nature. Too much light, not enough darkness.”

 - Bakugo jokes that he can finally talk to his pigeon brothers

 - “Dude! The birds love you!”

 - And everyone is right

 - As soon as Tokoyami walks outside, a pigeon lands on his head

 - “Why did that pigeon just speak to me?!”

 - Tokoyami is scared of the outside now

 - “I can hear their voices still!”

 - Tokoyami has a panic attack over being able to hear the animal voices

 - “Why do ants sound so manly?”

Todoroki

 - He got Bakugo’s quirk

 - “I’m not asking that bastard for help.”

 - Instead, he goes to Deku for training

 - “Deku, you have that stalker notebook still?”

 - Bakugo’s quirk is like his own quirk

 - “Seriosuly? Just heat?”

 - “Kind of basic if you ask me.”

 - Once Bakugo hears that, he goes beserk

 - “Icyhot!”

 - “Oh no no, you can’t call me that anymore.”

 - Todoroki likes propelling himself in the air with explosions

 - Bakugo’s quirk is too loud, like his personality

 - He doesn’t like using the quirk honestly

 - “It's not very good, very violent, and I don’t like getting sweaty.”

Bakugo

 - He got Kirishima’s quirk

 - “Yea bro, you can get hard too now!”

 - Mina tries to stop him from saying that

 - Poor bby doesn't understand

 - Kirishima tries to help, but Bakugo is having no part in that

 - “How difficult can your quirk be Shitty Hair?”

 - It isn’t easy though, especially when Bakugo is forced to be shirtless.

 - He’s used to his hero outfit covering his chest

 - Bby is a little self conscious

 - The best part is that he doesn’t sweat that much

 - “Fuck yea! I don’t smell like fucking cinnamon and caramel!”

 - Bakugo does miss his explosions and hand grenades

 - Your quirk is too boring Kirishima, and it’s not loud at all

Momo

 - She got Aoyama’s quirk

 - Her immediate reaction is to read a bunch

 - “Aoyama! Wait up, I have so many questions!”

 - Next though, she has fun with it

 - “It’s so pretty!”

 - Along the way her and Aoyama become friends

 - He brings her pain releivers to help with the stomach pains

 - “It sucks but at least it’s pretty.”

Mina

 - She got Jiro’s quirk!

 - Immediately her skin isn’t pink, her horns are gone, and her eyes turn bright blue

 - She’s still as spunky as ever though

 - “Dude! Imagine all the hot gossip I can listen to!”

 - Mina tries the teacher’s lounge with Asui and Ochako, only to hear Aizawa and Present Mic planning a date night

 - “We should totally go as well!” Mina offers

 - They go on all sorts of “spy missions”

 - Mina also likes being able to tan with Momo from time to time

 - She does miss her horns though

 - She realizes quickly that Jiro’s earphone jacks are also Bluetooth

 - Jiro just never told anyone before

 - When Mina gets her quirk back, she is so happy to look “normal” again

I’m a slut for fluff!! I wrote this because I was going through an existensial crisis!! And I thought about Tokoyami, he’s one of my favorites... and this song is so soft and romantic and it reminded me of him!! That and I can’t stop listening to Brendon Urie’s beautiful voice...

Summary: Time’s moving too fast for your liking but Tokoyami’s love for you remains the same.

Wintertime was a season you were oddly fond of. It was nice and chilly outside, which meant you could just cuddle up in the warm blankets and get close to people you actually cared about, all the while enjoying a nice hot beverage.

You smiled and sighed in content as you opened the window to feel more of that cool air filling the empty common room, and made your way to the couch to snuggle into your favorite (D/S) blanket. As happy as you were getting comfortable, at the same time you felt a little bit sad knowing that another year had gone by and now you were starting all over without a clue what to do.

However, you didn’t want to think too much about that, you just wanted to get comfortable and feel the cool air in the room while you were wrapped up in your blanket, watching American Horror Story on Netflix. Something about Netflix that made you forget about the fact that January was already almost over and that it was still fucking 2020...

That was a disgusting thought... how could it be 2020 already? How could January almost be over already? How could Winter almost be over? Ugh you hated how fast time was moving and you just wished that you could be trapped in some never-ending show where time didn’t matter...

“Woof, woof!” The sounds of barking made you perk up as you saw Taromaru looking up at you with his adorable eyes as you giggled a bit and patted the couch to encourage him to jump up. Standing on his little hind legs, the puppy launched himself upwards and quickly made himself comfortable in your lap. “Hee-hee you’re one of the best things I ever got Taromaru...” You said rather lovingly to your puppy as he yawned happily while he lied in your lap.

That’s right... you got Taromaru as your new puppy. Before him you also found yourself the most wonderful boyfriend in the world. He was a little on the gloomy side but you were pretty gloomy at times yourself so it worked out perfectly. 

And from the corner of your eye you could see said curious boyfriend emerge from the shadows of the dim hallway, clearly, he was looking for you since you weren’t in your dorm-room.

“Hey Fumi~.” You waved to him with a smile to let him know that you weren’t oblivious to him being there, and he pretended to look not surprised and resisted the urge to shiver when he felt how cold it was in here.

Oh, the window was open. That’s right, he knew how much you enjoyed getting warm in the cold…

“Good evening (Y/N).” He said in that deep voice that made you feel things… especially when he said your name. It took quite a while to get him to call you by your first name instead of your last name, but you got him to, and you fucking loved hearing him say it. And he was only partially oblivious to this as he looked right at you with such intense eyes that withheld curiosity.

“Couldn’t sleep?” He assumed, since he was well aware that you didn’t have the best sleep schedule, because he didn’t really have the best sleep schedule either. It’s why he was up too.

You chuckled somewhat shyly as you nodded, “Yup… so I’m just sittin’ in the dark, watching AHS with Taromaru… maybe it’ll help me go to sleep.” Sighing, you looked pretty relaxed and then patted the spot next to you, gesturing for your avian boyfriend to come over and sit with you. Tokoyami took this offer without hesitation, while he certainly wasn’t the most expressive type, he didn’t miss a chance to be with you. You two had been together for over a year, and Tokoyami hoped that it would stay that way for quite a while. 

Sure he was a hero of the night and a creature of the darkness, but you were a constant source of light for him and you were never far away from him. He didn’t enjoy being too far away from you because you always brightened up his cloudy days and his darkest nights.

Not only that but he loved this show, it literally had ‘Horror Story’ in the title, plus it was American. America made some pretty classic horror movies, and all of these seasons never ceased to amaze him. Asylum was his favorite, and to his delight you were watching the first episode of the second season. “This will never not be the best season… but murder house is pretty close…” You thought outloud as he nodded.

“The first season was shrouded in mystery, and there was no way the audience could predict what could happen or what had happened until everything would unfurl. But Asylum is a grim representation of the darker nature of humanity and the madness that lies within.” Tokoyami wasn’t one to speak much, but he did whenever someone actually shared one of his interests, and you were the lucky one who got to hear him actually share, show and tell his opinions.

“Ohh yeah…” You tried not to giggle at how dramatic he sounded, because you agreed with him, “Ain’t that the truth? It’s so wicked~. But I love Coven too~.” You sang-songed a little bit, and the raven had to agree that Coven was also a really good season. It had witches in it!

Although he couldn’t fight the blush heating his cheeks when you leaned against his shoulder and nuzzled him a little bit. He was so glad he had the feathers to hide his blushing so he was less transparent, but at the same time he was certain that somehow you knew when he blushed. Still, he was able to be a little more open around you, it’s what he adored about you. He could be him with you, because for some reason, you liked him even when he was a bit of an oddball who enjoyed these kinds of shows.

Of course, you liked these kinds of shows too and you were an oddball too, it’s why you and him got along so well. Birds of a feather watch horror shows together.

You hummed in content as you watched the first three episodes of Asylum with your dear Tokoyami, giggling when Dark Shadow came out to lay down his head onto your shoulder and you happily pet him, much to his host’s annoyance. 

“Arf~.” Taromaru then had to stand and put his paws on your chest so he could reach up to lick Dark Shadow’s beak. You quietly cooed when the shadow giggled and pet the puppy, “Who��s a good doggy? Whose a good doggy?!” 

Tokoyami sighed in annoyance when his shadow just had to play with the puppy. Now it’s not that Tokoyami disliked Taromaru, in fact he did find the pup rather cute, but stealing his underwear was certainly NOT cute at all, and then sometimes it felt as if the puppy deliberately stole your attention away from him on purpose.

Including right now as you seemed enthralled in watching Taromaru happily whining under the shadow’s surprisingly soft petting and you just found it adorable. “Awww~...” You shamelessly cooed even if your boyfriend wasn’t amused.

Still, Tokoyami kept close to you and he was happy you shared your blanket because it was really cold in here. He wasn’t a physical person, but he felt comfortable being near you, and touching you, being so close to you made him feel warm inside as you hugged his arm.

As tempting as it was to stay warm with you holding him and watch another episode, it was about to be two o clock and you knew that someone might wake up and catch you both still up at this hour.

At least it gave Tokoyami the excuse to make his quirk retreat, and as he stood up he felt a little more tired than he was earlier. And you gave a rather vocal yawn as you tiredly stood up from the couch and made sure to close the window, “Mmmkay… I’m goin’ to bed now…c’mon Taromaru...” You mumbled, and yet you moved over to the raven and put your hands on his shoulders as Taromaru perked up with a bark.

“Lead the way…”

This somewhat surprised Tokoyami, but he knew what you were getting at. “You wish to sleep in my room tonight?” You said you were going to bed, but didn’t specify you were going to YOUR bed…

“Yeah!” Despite being sleepy, apparently you had enough energy to chirp out an excited but quiet ‘yeah’, and Tokoyami couldn’t help but sigh as he wordlessly led you to his room while your puppy followed. Although the inside of his room still embarrassed him, you didn’t mind it at all. You thought his room was awesome because you were into that gothic stuff, sure some of it was a little edgy, but it was still cool!

He had a freaking sword just like Game of Thrones!

“Fumikage you’re my dark angel…” You smiled drowsily at your boyfriend, and he refused to let himself get so flustered at your flattery. “Get into bed (Y/N), it’s late.” He said a bit firmly, but only so you could go to sleep already because it was clear you were tired. His face was hot over the fact that he was going to share his bed with you, but he wasn’t going to just kick you out of his room. He was always your gentleman and he wouldn’t dream of kicking his girlfriend out of his room.

“Okey~…” Without complaint you got under his covers and already got comfortable and took your own blanket under with you just in case you wanted to put it at your feet. Tokoyami then shakily sighed as he forced himself to get into his bed with you in it. This was no problem he was just getting into his bed with his very cute, very sweet girlfriend in it…

He swallowed hard as he got into his bed and realized that he was lying down right next to you, and did his best not to tremble but ultimately failed. Somehow lying right next to you was a little bit different than just sitting right next to you. Calm down, calm down… he wasn’t going to get so nervous about this, but oh gods it was too late…

“Woof!” 

Oh Thank God for Taromaru. The puppy made himself at home in the room and climbed onto his bed, but instead of taking your attention he just happily lied at the foot of the bed and circled himself into a ball as he gave a little yawn.

So much for that help...

“Awwww...” You did coo at your sweet little puppy, but then you diverted your somewhat flirtatious eyes back on Tokoyami, who immediately felt the nerves now that your attention was back on him.

Even when tired you weren’t completely oblivious to your poor boyfriend’s nerves so you smiled a little bit and held his hand, turning to face him as his eyes widened a bit when they looked into your (E/C) eyes and you suddenly started to softly sing.

“Hello darkness my old friend… I’ve come to talk with you again…”

“Hello~.”

And Dark Shadow popped out from under the covers and sang, making Tokoyami jump ever so slightly as he glared at his shadow for coming out without permission. But Dark Shadow didn’t pay him no mind, he loved singing with you and happily snaked right beside you as you giggled and kept on singing with the shadow.

“Because a vision’s softly creeping… left it’s seeds while I was sleeping…”

Despite Tokoyami’s annoyance with his quirk, you just kept on singing as the shadow nuzzled you as you happily sang with him. Tokoyami would have been entertained by your oddly comforting voice if not for his shadow hogging you and singing with you…

“And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains within the sound…”

Almost getting lost in the song you and Dark Shadow sung along as you nodded your head along with him, but then you and he came to a pause at the last part and turned to face Tokoyami with smiles on your faces. The raven resisted the urge to sigh as he had no choice but to humor you both.

“Of silence…”

Tokoyami softly sang the last two words as you couldn’t help give a little squeal and snuggle up to him when he did it! He sung the song! Two words but still! You were happily nuzzling your now flustered Tokoyami as he trembled a little more and tried not to glare at how comfortable Dark Shadow looked just resting on you like that.

As comfortable as you looked petting the shadow, and having Taromaru resting happily at the edge of the bed, for some reason you still couldn’t bring yourself to fall asleep and Tokoyami knew. “What’s the matter?” He was aware that you were very sleep-deprived and he had no doubts it’s because you couldn’t sleep, however there was always an underlying reason to it and he felt the need to try and help you with that.

Sighing, you rested your head on the pillow and stared up at the ceiling, hand still stroking the top of Dark Shadow’s head as he purred. “Can I ask you a bit of a personal question?”

“Of course you can.”

That question made him a little bit nervous, but the raven nonetheless would hear you out. “Do you ever just wish time would stop? So you can just have a goddamn break? I swear… every second passes and it feels like I’m just slowly getting more and more ancient… and then I think too hard on it and begin to wonder just what the point is and why I’m even here. I mean… you know… I’ve always had a lot of self-doubt, and people who liked to make me feel low… sometimes I think I am low, and then I think about just where I am in life and contemplate if it’s good enough. You know me I’m an overthinker and once I think about that I can’t stop…” You admitted, and you didn’t see the thought swirling in your boyfriend’s eyes.

He understood your words, even if they were a tad bit depressing, he knew and understood that. In fact, he wasn’t ashamed to say that he’s had thoughts like that too whenever he in particular felt like he wasn’t very successful in a particular endeavor, or when the things he hoped for weren’t here yet even when he desperately wished for them to come sooner so he wouldn’t have to wait anymore.

Along with the occasional existential crisis Tokoyami, like many an edgy teenager, felt on a somewhat daily basis whenever he felt any of those things. Why was he even here? He didn’t know why, but then again, being with you reminded him that maybe he was here for a reason.

“That’s a hard question to answer.” He replied truthfully and you chuckled with a small nod, “But everything happens for a reason, isn’t that what you like to say? I believe it’s true. Everything does happen for a reason.” Tokoyami remembered you always saying that everything had to happen for a reason, and he found himself starting to believe that. There had to be a reason, he knew there had to.

“You found Taromaru for a reason. You and I started dating for a reason…” He trailed off that last part a little awkwardly as you giggled a little bit, “Because I couldn’t resist you, you’re just so handsome and sweet~.” You grinned a little as you could see Tokoyami’s feathers starting to preen as he started to get flustered. That reason he didn’t understand, but didn’t argue with it because it made him feel good.

“S-See? There’s a reason for everything. There’s a reason why we are here, there’s a reason why I’m here at UA. I understand what you’re feeling. I too have had people tell me before that I wouldn’t qualify as a decent hero because of my dark quirk.” You couldn’t help but frown when you thought about it. Tokoyami didn’t necessarily have the easiest childhood and you knew it because he had told you about it in private so you felt so bad that your dear raven had to go through all of that.

“I’m… sorry Fumi. I’m sorry that they made you feel that way.” And you couldn’t help but apologize to him, but he didn’t really seem all that saddened thinking about it.

“There’s no need to be sorry. If I was never told those words, I never would have realized that I want to be a reliable hero and let people know that they don’t need to fear the dark. I never would have worked hard enough to make it into UA, I never would have met our classmates, and I never would have met you.” The raven continued with a thoughtful gaze that he gave to you. He would always be honest with you, and so he felt just a little less flustered as he confessed that he felt that this the reason he was here, because he was meant to meet you. That you and he were meant to meet.

You could feel your face turning hot at such a humane confession and how surprisingly optimistic your boyfriend sounded about everything. Wow, you had never thought about it like that. Now you were starting to believe that maybe that was true, that you were meant to meet your Tokoyami and be with him because of how everything you’ve been through led to being with him.

With flushed cheeks you tried not to snicker and smile but you couldn’t help it, “God… Fumi… people always say Todoroki’s the heartthrob… but I think it’s you… way to make a gal feel special…” You sounded very touched as you had to lean in to kiss him on the beak as he perked up and grew even more flustered. 

A contrast to how calm he had looked as you giggled when his feathers floofed up a bit. “I think… you’re right… that has to be the reason… makes everything… all the bullshit… worth it. I’ve got my reason right here.” You warmly said as she had to cuddle up closer to him and Tokoyami felt a little bit warmer having you so close to him.

“Me too.” Was all he could bring himself to say as you sighed in content, “Sing with me Fumi~.” You weren’t quite tired yet, but a nice little song would definitely do the trick and Tokoyami didn’t complain as he let you start humming.

The raven held you in his arms as he sang this song for you, it was his song to you. He never wanted you to feel like you weren’t worthy of love, no matter how fast time moves, he would always be yours.

It took all your willpower not to tear up as you thought about Brendon and your sweet boyfriend as you gladly sung and harmonized with him. God you loved Panic! At The Disco, their songs moved your heart, but when Tokoyami sang their songs, it moved your heart just a little bit more.

“In these coming years many things will change, but the way I feel will remain the same…”

He wasn’t Brendon Urie, Tokoyami knew he would never be Brendon, that man was a God, but he could at least try to be your Brendon. And you were his Sara. The one he always wanted to see smile, and he would make sure that he could be the one to make you smile. And for once he didn’t have any caveats when Dark Shadow remained cuddled up at your side and purring into you affectionately.

You were smiling the entire time as your eyes slowly started to close as you rested your head on his shoulder and hugged his arm, and Taromaru was cuddled up at your legs. “Good night Fumi~.” You whispered your soft good nights to him when he finished the song you loved and Tokoyami sighed as he gave you a little smile when you looked at peace beside him.

“Good night (Y/N).” He whispered to you gently before his eyes started to close and for once in a while, he was able to fall into a peaceful sleep because he was lied down right next to you. Still very much in love with you, and you were still in love with him.

It’s always okay! Sorry I didn’t post this sooner, I try to work on requests the second they hit my inbox but these past few days have been rough on me :(( but! Shoto Todoroki comforting his S/O

Warnings: panicked and sad reader, awkward but supportive Shoto, some mentions of injuries, hospitals, Tokoyami is here, some fluffy stuff.

Just as soon as they appeared, the villains terrorizing the camp had disappeared.

Todoroki, having watched Bakugo become abducted, was certainly on edge when it came to the thought of what situation his S/O might be in. You weren’t some little weakling, he knew this, but he still worried for your safety.

He had gotten back to the main area where the Remedial courses were being held. Everywhere he seemed to look, his classmates seemed to be getting bandaged up for minor injuries. It seems mostly everyone was okay, but a few people were still missing.

Todoroki didn’t see your face anywhere.

He felt an icy chill run up his spine, the feeling of anxiety beginning to course through his vein. You weren’t hurt, were you? Oh god, what if you were?

He asked everyone if they had seen you, but no one seemed to have a clear answer. You could be unconscious in those woods and no one would know until you were found. Hell, you could have been abducted. Todoroki kept his cool expression to not draw any attention, but your absence terrified him. He felt as if he should turn around and run into those woods and scream your name at the top of his lungs until he found you. Luckily, it didn’t come to that.

“Shoto!”

Your voice reached his ears. Todoroki turned around to the sight of you. You had been bandaged up on your stomach for what looked like several gashes. They didn’t seem severe as you were still clearly walking and in okay shape. Tears were rolling down your face as you ran towards him.

You had basically dived into his arms, not that he minded, as he basically wanted to do the same to you. He felt you shake and sob into his shoulder, him petting your hair down as you buried your face into his chest.

“What happened to you? You aren’t hurt badly are you?”

Todoroki asked you, his tone sounding a bit more demanding than concerned (a mistake he often made. Social interaction can be hard for him, so you understand). You backed away from him, wiping the tears from your eyes.

“I-I... I was with Tokoyami-kun when everything happened... he had seen Shoji-kun get hurt and... and...” Your voice croaked out, as you began to sob more. Todoroki brought you back into a hug, as you let out more sobs into his chest. The two of you sat down on the ground, as your knees had begun to shake violently from recalling what had happened.

“And what? What happened [Y/N]?” Todoroki inquired as your sobs became a little more tame again. You wiped your eyes again, breathing in deeply.

“He lost control of Dark Shadow in the dark like this. Y-you know how his quirk is, right..? Dark Shadow became wild and.. and I tried to help Tokoyami-kun because he was in so much pain due to Dark Shadow but...” Your voice began to croak again, but before you could break down in sobs again you wiped your eyes and shook your head.

“I couldn’t do anything!!! Tokoyami-kun is still out there in pain and struggling and I couldn’t even help him!!! D-Dark Shadow lashed out at me and grazed me on my stomach and it only made matters worse!!! Tokoyami-kun freaked out and.. and—!”

Todoroki pulled you into a hug, as you broke down again and sobbed into his arms. You didn’t pull away for a good bit this time, instead, you sobbed your little heart out. Todoroki held on tightly to you until every last tear left your eyes, and until your sobs became little kitten sniffles. You still shook violently, but considering the situation, he certainly didn’t blame you.

“You did good.” He spoke to you suddenly after a long silence between you two. You jumped a little at the sound of his voice.

“I know you feel as if your efforts were in vain, but I’m sure Tokoyami appreciated them. Even if you couldn’t do it yourself, you called for help to get others to help him. What you did was heroic, even if not in the traditional sense.” He spoke again, running his fingers through your hair. Tears welled up in your eyes again, but they were small, gentle tears.

“You did your part in taming this ordeal. I’m sure by telling the authorities where he was you’ve guaranteed his safety. He’s going to be okay, and that is thanks to you. You did good.” He spoke in a whispery tone now. He rested his cheek on the top of your head, holding onto you as if there was nothing else in this world.

“...thank you.” You muttered softly.

The two of you fell into a comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s warm embrace. You had dozed off at some point, crashing from your adrenaline high. When emergency vehicles came, you were taken to the hospital for your minor injuries.

Tokoyami had been taken to the hospital as well, and had later come to you and offered you a thanks for your aid. You had even gotten a sad looking Dark Shadow to apologize to you, little tears coming from his glowy yellow eyes.

“It’s okay Dark Shadow, but you gotta make sure you listen to Tokoyami-kun, okay? He’s there to make sure you don’t hurt anyone like that.” You spoke to the shadow bird, half motherly, half scowling. He hung his head and whined, replying with a small “I know, I’m sorry.”

As Tokoyami had walked off back to his hospital room after having visited you, it was mere coincidence that Todoroki had came to visit you almost immediately after.

“I saw Tokoyami leaving your room. He came to thank you, I assume?” Todoroki asked, placing a bento box he had made for you on your little table next to your hospital bed.

“Yeah, he did.” You said. “Thank you by the way. The food here kinda sucks...”

“Of course.” He said. “Anything for you.” He added, placing a small peck on your forehead. You giggled at the affection.

“I’d kiss you back but I busted my lip and it hurts.”

“Want me to kiss them better?”

I was thinking about Sero having siblings which made me think about class 1a and like,, how few of them have canon siblings? & then I was like “well hmm, who has siblings in canon and who do I feel like SHOULD have siblings?” which has NOW spiraled to “whole family dynamic” so. Here’s this (note that I’m not gonna subtract people from families who already canonically exist like however much I’d like to launch End**v*r into the sun this is less “I rewrote things how I’d like them to be” and more “how many of these kids do I think should have siblings and if their parents aren’t developed what do I think they’re like”).

Midoriya: We already know he does not have siblings and tbh even if we didn’t know I’d still think he doesn’t. He absolutely has Only Child Who’s Kinda Lonely And Wanted A Sibling But Never Got One vibes. Also we know he has a single mom and a dad who’s not really in the picture (sidenote I love Inko Midoriya even though she failed Izuku in the past by not believing in him she loves her son so much and is trying her hardest to make up for it and do what’s best for him). I feel like her husband is like,,, not straight up the worst person ever like he’s not abusive but he’s not particularly interested in his family anymore?? Like he pays his child support but doesn’t make any effort to talk to his wife and son? He’d get divorced but he doesn’t want to go through the hassle of that legal process, especially since he’s living on a whole separate continent & would either have to go back to Japan for the legal proceedings or do it from there which would be challenging & he’s “far too busy” to do that

Bakugou: He doesn’t have siblings in canon but he does kinda give off Middle Child In A House With Lots Of Children vibes...that inferiority/superiority complex tho...oh either that or Oldest Child In A House With Lots Of Children vibes...but yeah consider middle child Bkg. Like...maybe 5-6 Bakugou children and he’s either smack dab in the middle or 3rd oldest depending if he has 4 or 5 siblings. Also it’s pretty obvious that Mitsuki’s not a good mom & Masaru is not rlly willing to stand up to her but unfortunately I can’t change that cause I said I wouldn’t mess with existing family members :/ maybe I shouldn’t give him more siblings after all, for their sake...

Todoroki: We know the todofam dynamic already. Tbh idk what kinda vibes he’d give me if I didn’t already know he had siblings, but since I know that he has siblings in canon it makes sense that he’s a youngest child (also sidenote I LOVE the Todorokisibs & I want them to have the time to bond and become like,,, real, close siblings. Also #givereiadivorce2k20). I hope someone yeets Endumpster out of existence one of these days...fingers crossed

Iida: It’s canon that he has a brother and it’s so sweet how much he admires and loves him Iida ily. Again it makes sense that he’s a youngest child; his need to be “worthy of” his brother’s legacy is rlly apparent, & feels like a total youngest sibling trait. Tbh if I didn’t know he had a brother I could also see him as an only child but I’m glad he has Tensei. I feel like his parents are hardworking but make sure to make time for their children as much as they can & make sure they know they’re loved. Iida kinda also considers some of the heroes/sidekicks who work at the Idaten agency family since they’ve been around so much during his childhood & he knows them pretty well. Also since Tensei is friends with Aizawa and Yamada they were definitely Tenya’s babysitters at least a couple times & around the house a lot so he considers them kinda like uncles or something

Uraraka: I know she doesn’t have siblings in canon but it feels like she should. She gives off big sister vibes. Like she’s canonically becoming a hero for her parents, and I think that would be even better if she also had siblings (all younger than her. At least 2 siblings, maybe 3). I want to see Uraraka with siblings @ Horikoshi why did you deprive us of this? Also we know her parents work hard and love her which I love I’m so glad SOMEONE in class 1a canonically has 2 good supportive parents

Tsuyu: We already know she has two siblings and yes she also has Big Sister Vibes. Don’t have much to explain abt this one, she’s just mature and dependable in like the Older Sister Specific Way (not that all older sisters are mature and dependable, just that there’s a kind of mature and dependable that directly comes from being an older sister specifically). I feel like her parents love her and her siblings & taught them to be truthful & stuff but are kinda quiet and reserved with their affection, and they’re often busy with their jobs so Tsuyu had to take on some extra responsibility caring for her siblings

Yaoyorozu: She’s an only child and yeah, it makes sense. Her parents only have one child to focus on, and as such it’s pretty obvious she feels the full pressure of their expectations, giving her pretty obvious Only Child Vibes. Although I guess you could also look at it as youngest child vibes cause I could just as easily see her having a bunch of talented successful older siblings/one Really Talented Older Sibling so she feels the pressure in following in their footsteps (think either Daphne from scooby doo mystery incorporated or Tahani Al-Jamil from the good place except she doesn’t necessarily hate/resent her siblings but is just kinda insecure about her “worth” compared to them. This is where the second guessing she suddenly displays in canon could come in - correct me if I’m wrong but she didn’t rlly show signs of second-guessing herself until the sports festival? So she’s fine in class where nobody rlly knows her but once she’s at the sports festival which is nationally televised she starts to doubt herself because her parents and sister(s) are watching & she’s like “oh no what if my sister(s) would be better than me at this” so that’s why she suddenly loses confidence). I kinda implied before but I feel like her parents are pretty strict & have high expectations for her & while they’re not needlessly cruel, they won’t tolerate less than the best

Jirou: Pretty sure she has no siblings in canon BUT she TOTALLY gives off youngest sibling vibes. I’m thinking she’d have like a cool older brother who likes to embarrass her. Her parents are pretty chill (I think that part’s kinda canon?). She has lots of older cousins who she’s pretty close with and one bad*ss lesbian aunt who’s pretty much her role model (Jirou when she was younger: I wanna be just like my aunt!!! Jirou now: ah. That’s why. I also like girls.)

Kirishima: Again I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have siblings in canon and as for whether I think he gives off sibling vibes??? I’m not entirely sure. I was gonna say I don’t think so cause like. He gives off vibes that he’d be good with siblings but doesn’t actually have them, kinda like Midoriya (but like,,,I also kinda want to give him siblings so I’m not sure). Also you know that fandom headcanon that he has 2 moms? Yeah I love that that’s canon you can’t convince me otherwise. He has 2 moms and they both love him so much & wanna support him however they can (also I kinda put a little thought into them for a fic I started writing and decided that they’re the embodiment of the tattoo parlor/flower shop au. Flower mom keeps some arrangements that are...not necessarily professional in her shop because her wife arranged them for her. Tattoo mom gives flower mom tattoos for free & they have matching tattoos that flower mom designed)

Koda: he gives me Could Have Siblings vibes as in he kinda feels like another middle child but I feel like he’s actually an only child (like he probably is in canon? I think). His parents are quiet like him but they definitely love him and he knows it. He’s really close to his grandparents (who also live with his family) as well. He also, quits predictably, has a lot of animal friends who are kind of like family to him cause they’ve been through a lot together (the Koda family household sometimes looks a little bit like a zoo because 3 people in it have talking-to-animal-related quirks)

Sato: another idk about canon but he has a little sister. I cannot tell you why I think this but he definitely has a little sister. Sato you have been diagnosed with Big Brother Energy. Also he totally has a single dad who owns a bakery which is how Sato knows how to bake so well! They’re not poor but they’re not rich and he hopes to send some of his paycheck to support his family & help his dad expand the bakery. It wasn’t the primary reason he became a hero (that was because a hero once saved his little sister from a burning building & he decided that he wanted to be able to save people like that hero had saved his sister), but he does like the benefit of the paycheck

Tokoyami: tbh my first instinct was no siblings but I think it would be really funny if he had like. 3 really preppy siblings (one older than him two younger) & he was the only goth one in his family. Or like. His dad is also goth but his mom & other siblings r super preppy. He loves them all but is very much introverted and he and his dad are closer than the rest bc they kinda bond over being less energetic. His siblings & mom don’t REALLY understand Tokoyami’s goth-ness but they love and support him anyways. His younger siblings lowkey like Dark Shadow maybe even more than him tho. Dark Shadow was pretty sad when he heard they’d be moving to the dorms because he would miss them

Kaminari: tbh I first thought he had only child vibes (he kinda does) but then I decided that he has siblings but their age gaps are pretty significant. His older sister has just gotten out of university and is working and his younger sister is like...7 maybe. His siblings both love him but the age gaps between them make it hard for them to connect sometimes. Anyways I feel like his parents are pretty neglectful & caught up in their work. They don’t really pay attention to him or his other siblings, so his older sister had to learn things like cooking and cleaning and do a lot of taking care of Kaminari and he had to help take care of his younger sister, especially after his older sister went to uni. His parents just assumed he’d come to work at their electric company but he didn’t want to do that so while he definitely wants to save people a big part of his desire to become a hero is to make real connections and prove to his parents that he’s worthy of love and attention. He took the UA exam without telling them and when they found out they would have told him no except that they figured the exposure of their son going to the top hero school in Japan would give them more business. When he moved to the dorms he missed his sisters but was glad he didn’t have to be the main caretaker of his little sister anymore (his parents hired a nanny, which they hadn’t wanted to do before because of how much money it would cost, but because they had in fact gotten more business due to Denki going to UA they had a little more money now). (The nanny and Denki’s sister became fast friends, a fact of which he was glad because it meant he wasn’t leaving her alone in an empty house. He called and visited his sister as often as possible)

Hagakure: honestly I’m pretty sure she’s an only child in canon and she DOES give off only child vibes I think...unlike Midoriya tho I don’t think she’d be particularly bothered by it? I mean I feel like she’s kinda lonely but that’s less about lack of siblings & more bc of lack of people seeing her. But her parents rlly care about her & support her however they can, & they also understand her bc they’re invisible too so they know how it feels to have to work hard to be noticed when you can’t exactly be seen

Aoyama: either both his siblings are way older than him or he’s an only child. He does not give me “is super close with his siblings” vibes. He’s definitely seen as the baby in the family and not in a “he gets away with everything & is the parents’ favorite” way in the “they think he’s kinda a failure” way. His siblings look down on him, his mom pities him because he was the only one to inherit her quirk, which hurts to use, & his dad kinda doesn’t rlly care about him one way or the other. The family gives me pretty rich vibes. Like not as rich as the Yaoyorozus/Iidas/Todorokis but still pretty rich. He went to UA mostly because he wants to get stronger both so that his mom can stop pitying/worrying about him and so that the rest of his family won’t look down on him anymore

Ojirou: l also think he has a few siblings (like...no more than 2 tho). I think younger siblings, he’s also a character with big brother energy (tho I could also see middle child Ojirou). His mom runs a dojo which is part of the reason why he’s so good at martial arts. His dad is an artist. They’re pretty close and love and respect each other. His parents were surprised but supportive when he announced he wanted to go to UA

Ashido: an only child. Her parents love her a lot & make sure she feels supported. She sometimes wishes she had siblings but not super often because she has tons of good friends (this along with Kirishima being an only child who wants siblings sometimes only makes their brotp more epic)!! Also she still keeps in close touch with her civilian friends from middle school but kinda feel disconnected from them sometimes because they’re living such different lives than her. Like they’ll talk about the latest movie and ask her if she’s seen it and she just says no and kinda laugh it off because she can’t just say “no, I wanted to but villains tried to kill my class the day we were planning to go”. She also has a hard time telling her parents that because she knows they’d be super worried about her and she really wants to be a hero!

Sero: has siblings (is somewhere in the middle) and also a huge extended family!!! Before the dorms he lived with his mom and siblings but his extended family lived really close to them and visited all the time so he’s really close to both sets of grandparents and his many aunts and uncles and little cousins (though he’s a middle child in his immediate family he’s one of the oldest cousins). Though he misses his family he sees them as often as he can, and is kinda glad for how chaotic and loud the dorms can be sometimes because it reminds him of his home

Shoji: has a little brother, a mom, and a step-dad. It took a while for him to get used to his step-dad, but it becomes clear that he really loves his family so now Shoji loves him too and is fairly close to him. Shoji’s little brother is adopted because there were complications with his mom’s pregnancy when she was having Mezo and while he turned out fine, they found out that it would be risky for his mom to attempt to get pregnant again. His little brother also has a mutation quirk (though it’s not Dupli Arms it’s Bear) and Shoji loves him more than anything else in the world. He wants to become a hero to help combat the stigma around certain mutation quirks (Gang Orca once canonically kinda addressed that that exists when he talked about how children are always afraid of him bc of how he looks) so that the world will be better for people like him and his brother. His mom and stepdad wholeheartedly support him

M*neta: Only doing this bc my brain will not shut up & is making me analyze all of 1a even the ones I don’t consider 1a. I hope he doesn’t have siblings so less people have to be exposed to his...m*neta-ness but tbh I could see him having siblings. His parents are busy and either don’t notice or don’t care what a terrible person their son is

Better purple boy who deserves a place in 1a way more than the grape Shinsou: has no siblings but gives off IMMENSE big brother vibes. Definitely grew up in the foster system (his biological mother, who was a single mother and also had a mind control quirk, became a villain because she couldn’t get hired anywhere, had no way to support her son, and was tired of being villainized by society so she was like “ok you want a villain? Bet.” When Shinsou was like 7, his mom was killed while trying to flee a crime scene. Since Shinsou had no other parent, he was then put into the foster system. Nobody adopted him because everyone thought he was going to become a villain like his mom had, and even the people who didn’t know his mom thought his quirk was “villainous”). Aizawa and Yamada are now eventually planning to adopt him. He kinda has similar vibes to Midoriya in regards to the “Only Child Who’s Kinda Lonely And Wanted A Sibling” but unlike Midoriya he would NEVER admit he wanted a sibling. “I like being alone” he insists. He is a lying liar. However as soon as he meets Eri they instantly connect & he kinda becomes like a big brother to her even tho he will deny it until Eri herself calls him her brother. When this happens he will cry even tho he will say he didn’t

Just a ghost {Midoriya Izuku x ghost!reader}

Before you read this please know that there will be slight spoilers for the manga in this short story!

You sighed, your tired (e/c) hues glazing over the students in the newly built common room. There were having so much fun with each other. Laughing, playing….. Touching. The red haired one- you think his name was Kirishima- wrapped an arm around the shoulders of the angry blond boy- Bakugou Katsuki. How could you forget him? He always made you shiver despite him not being able to actually see or hurt you.

With another side sigh, you turned around and headed back outside, phasing right through the door. After all, you were a ghost.

You had been haunting the place of your death for nearly… how long had it been? Fifteen years? Sixteen? It was hard to keep track, but… you think you would’ve been about 31 this year along with your childhood friends…. Friends who were now pro-heroes and teachers at the school you once attended.

Anger and frustration filled your heart and before you knew it you were ravaging the area around you, the ground being toiled and the branches from nearby trees snapping off and flying away from you.

But just as quickly as the anger appeared, it faded away and was replaced with sadness.

You shouldn’t have died. You were supposed to grow up with Shouta and Hizashi and become pro heroes with them. Back in high school the three of you were the trio that everyone knew would make it big. Even by the middle of first year, a lot of your classmates speculated that the three of you would be the Big Three… and two people were.

You had died at the end of first year. You could still remember Shouta and Hizashi’s reactions at the funeral held at UA. God how you wanted to hug them, wipe away their tears, and tell them that everything would be okay, but you couldn’t.

Letting out a sad sigh, you sat on the steps of the dorm building you had decided to call your home. Well, more like you just floated on top of the steps.

You couldn’t physically touch anything or anyone, sure you could manipulate them, but it wasn’t the same as feeling the warmth of another human being. And it was frustrating.

The only beings you could touch and feel were other ghosts in your realm, but they would always disappear as quickly as they had appeared.

You are alone

You weren’t sure how long you sat on those steps, the only indication of time passing by was the lights of the dorms rooms that were slowly flicking off. Standing up, you phased back inside the door, starting to make your nightly rounds.

Every night, you’d go to every room and check up on each of the kids of Class 1A. Hell, you might be dead, but your want to help those around you was still as big as ever. Plus… you needed a sense of significance, so if you could help these kids somehow in anyway… you would feel needed.

You had already helped a multitude of kids when they were in their rooms crying their eyes out by making a ruckus so the others would hear and comfort them, hell you’ve even finish homework for a couple students and dragged them to their bed after they passed out at their desks.

Because of this ritual you’ve done since you’ve died, at this point, you were a genius at the UA curriculum in all the departments. You knew how mechanics worked from the support department, you knew how to run a small company from the business department, and strangely enough you knew all the bones and muscles in the human body from the general department- guess that’s what you get for haunting a student who wanted to be a doctor for three years.

But you would always be best at your hero work. Nothing would take precedence over that. Phasing through the ceiling of the common room, you found yourself in the second-floor hallway. Turning towards the first door you saw, you started with the girl who had way too many instruments for her own good.

Peaking in, your eyes scanned over the room. The digital clock near Jirou’s bed read “11:42 PM”. And just as you’d expect, the purplenette was asleep in bed.

Nodding to yourself, you floated back out of the room and moved to the next one, the dorm with the invisible girl. Hagekure was asleep and fine, just like Jirou.

You repeated this process to each floor, your eyes peeking at the girls once before leaving their private space. The only thing you had to do was move Yaoyorozu, the rich girl who was too good looking for your own mental health, over to her bed since she had fallen asleep at her desk.

You repeated the same process with the boys’ side of the dorms, starting from the very top floor this time and making your way down. Now, this was bit more of a process. Most of the boys were very responsible and didn’t need your assistance, but the ones that did… dear god those were the worst.

An annoyed sigh left your lips as you entered Kaminari Denki’s room, realizing you’d have to do the same thing as last night and the night before. First, you moved the electric blond from the desk over to his bed, making sure to wrap the blanket around him snuggly so he wouldn’t knock them all over the floor like usual. Then, you organized his books and school supplies. At least as much as you could without Kaminari becoming suspicious that someone else was doing this.

If you made it too neat, he’d know that someone was the reason for his complete homework and nicely made bed.

After you finished, you moved on, hoping that the night would go quickly. And it did. It seemed the boys were able to take care of themselves fairly well with the exception of Kirishima, who seemed to be having a nightmare.

You sat down next to his head and cooed quietly, humming him back into a quiet sleep. His clock read “1:38 AM”.

Before you knew it, you were on the last floor. You quickly floated by the door with the label “Mineta’ on it. The one and only time you went in to check on the boy, you were permanently scarred.

“Never again.” You thought, a shiver going up your spine.

Taking a quick turn, you peaked your head into the room whose owner’s head was a bird. As usual, he was fast asleep while Dark Shadow was wide awake. He turned his head to you as you peeked in. You weren’t sure why, but this thing that was apart of Tokoyami’s quirk could sense you. It wasn’t able to see or talk to you, but he would always turn to your direction whenever you were near Tokoyami.

Phasing back out into the hallway, you continued on, going to the last room on your list.

Midoriya Izuku.

This boy… he had lots of issues. Ever since the dorm rooms have been built, you’ve found him in his room multiple times in distress. Sometimes it was clear with tears running down his face and other times it was less obvious as his eyes would just be staring blankly at the wall.

He seems to have been through a lot from what you can gather with his conversations with All Might and notebooks, and as a result, his mental state is less than fine. Just last week his quirk went haywire while he was sleeping and he wrecked his room. (Manga readers you know what I’m talking about lol)

So now you were keeping a close eye on the boy. Like a mama hen watching her baby chick.

You phased through the door slowly, this time floating all the way in. The uniform you wore swished back and forth as if there was an actual breeze, but you knew it was just your ghostly apparition.

Looking around the room, nothing struck you as odd and everything seemed to be in order. Every All Might statue that wasn’t broken (you were still trying to fix the one with his First Age costume, whose head had flown during Midoriya’s incident. If anyone were to find your stash of stuff, there would be a huge scandal at UA), was in its correct place and all the posters were straight on the wall.

But there was something missing and that was the boy himself. Fear began to bubble in your veins as you tried to think of where the boy could be.

“Is he fighting that blond kid again? Wait no, I just saw Bakugou in his room above, he was sound asleep! Maybe he’s in the gym? If so I better get the attention of the rob-”

The sound of a toilet flushing shook you out of our thoughts, the sound of a faucet turning on joining the sounds. You let out a relieved sigh, happy that Midoriya was only using the bathroom.

As you turned to leave the room, you couldn’t help but stop and stare at the pictures on Midoriya’s work desk. They were different than the posters of All Might and other pro heroes on the wall. No these were of family and friends. A photo of Midoriya and a woman with green hair just like his framed with gold; another photo of him sitting on All Might’s photo framed by an All Might frame, of course; another photo of his with his two friends Uraraka and Iida at what looked like an amusement park; and a photo of the entire class. The boy sat at the front, flashing the camera a peace sign.

Sadness filled your heart as you stared at the photo. You wanted to see your friends again. You wanted to see your family.

You didn’t want to be alone.

The door to Midoriya’s personal bathroom opened, but you didn’t move. There was no use reacting to something that couldn’t even see you. There was a quick intake of air and then…

“Who are you?” Midoriya asked. You blinked and looked towards the door to see if anyone else had come inside. But it was still closed shut. Next, you looked towards the window that lead to the balcony. It was still shut, hell it was even locked! So just who was Midoriya talking to?

“H-hey? A-are you okay?” Midoriya asked.

Your eyes widened. There was no way… was he…”

Slowly, you turned around, your eyes catching onto Midoriya’s forest green hues. “Can you… see me?” You asked slowly, hope filling your heart.

Midoriya looked you up and down, taking in your appearance.

“Am I not supposed to?”

Author’s note: Trying out a lil something, even though it is after halloween lol. I had the idea last night so hopefully this little mini-series will work out
