Okay, this is how it starts: Macaque and Wukong's first encounter was in a dream.

Wukong would not shut up about the pretty demon in his crazy dreams, often to his sworn brothers; he talked about all the fun and crazy adventures he'd have, the long meaningful conversations and jokes, and the occasionally moving pictures of otherworldly strong magical humans with sparkly eyes and spiky hair who wield giant weapons that shoots Fire called anime, and that this had been going on for a few months now.

This annoyed and concerned them; they think it's a demon trying to take over the Monkey King's mind or trying to brainwash him somehow, so Azure Lion and the Sworn Brothers all brainstormed together to devise a plan to somehow confront this tricky dream demon. Wukong doesn't want the fun dreams to end or scare off this other celestial monkey, so he decides to talk to his friend in his dreams. Wukong casually brings up the idea that the macaque should visit Flower Fruit and meet his sworn brothers! Macaque of course hesitates, not sure of the idea of traveling to an unknown island and meeting The Monkey King's questionable choice of sworn brothers, but of course, Wukong, sad and a bit offended, but he doesn't give up.

He decides to bring upon the Ultimate Weapon, begging and whining until Macaque crumbles and gives in, which eventually does. Mac reluctantly agrees to travel over to FFM in disguise, just to be safe he tells Wukong he'll be there. Within a month, Wukong couldn't be more excited; he was like a little kid waiting for Christmas day!

So this is what kinds of powers I think he should have.

😴 the first pic is crossing over to other people's dreams and making their experience life-like he has illusion magic so this makes sense to me. Wukong and macaque would prank the Brotherhood or play tags and hide and seek in their brother's dreams. 🌸The second pic is the soothing ability to calm one's nerves if they pet or cuddle him like a therapy cat,🐈 Wukong would groom him for hours to calm his nerves. now come copes with food🍑🍔🍭

At the end of every dream Mac visits they would end it by dancing to music Mac would bring from the future laughing and stumbling while wukong slowly wakes up, wukong has always gone to bed early But now he goes even earlier to bed. Wukong always thought he was the luckiest monkey in the world he gets to have two Adventure and one of them is with his prettiest best friend Macaque 😚✨the monkey of his dreams.

(Lmk Wukong) Oh man this isn't good for him. It happens one day when he finishes training mk and he went to check on you. When he called for you and found you on the ground unconscious. He froze and felt his who life flash before his eyes and hyperventilating like crazy, he flew you to the hospital immediately While he has his own panic attack. Later that day you woke up and the doctor let's you husband in after tending to a crying Wukong who felt like he was about to lose everything, the doctor told you that you had Narcolepsy and with that Wukong listen and retain all the info on how to take care of you.

(HIB Wukong) Oh you definitely scared the sh*t of him. Not just him but your whole little family You were literally just walking down the road with him. When you felt very tired and before you could call for Wukong you passed out right there. Hours later you woke up at home to a crying Luier and Silly girl as the two felt helpless on how to help you when Silly girl noticed you awake. Silly girl's crys of mama made Wukong came in to see your awake and everyone pulled you into a group hug. That's when you told your family that you had narcolepsy.

(NR Wukong) Oh man let's not scare the old man immortal because that's Exactly what happened. We were talking to him one afternoon when everything for you went dark and we hit the floor. Wukong freak out Entirely and I'm pretty sure he broke every traffic law on his way to the Hospital. After a few hours you woke up to him sleeping on your bed with tear marks on his face You had that old monkey worried sick about you. And when he woke up he smothered you with affection Sobbing hysterically in relief when the doctor told him about your Narcolepsy, he made sure to follow Strict instructions on how to take care of you.

(MKR Wukong) Ohhhhhhhhhh Yikes😬😬😬 you were playing with fruity when it happened. You played hide and seek and went to hide for fruity to find you, when suddenly you fell unconscious. Fruity spent hours looking for you but when he did he started crying which alerted Wukong and came to find your unconscious body on the ground. Now knowing him he's going to assume somebody attack you and fly into a fit of Blind rage, swearing revenge on your attacker when you woke up. Wukong was relieved and then demanded to know who attacked you and after calming him down you told him about your Narcolepsy. He may not understand it at first but he already hates it and what it does to you.

(Netflix Wukong) Oh maaaaaaaaaaan This is breaking my heart😥. Bro has lost so much even when It seemed like there was nothing left for anybody to take but you....😟. He definitely has a nervous breakdown because you dropped right in front of him and did not respond at all. He dragged you to the doctor, crying and begging them to help you because he couldn't lose you. What's the point of immortality if he can spend it with you😥 and after a few hours you woke up like nothing happened at the doctor's office. Netflix smothered you with kisses in relief, thanking Every God out there for giving him another chance with you. I guess you can tell him about your narcolepsy once he calms down.😦

I have a number of problems with the story. The following is presented in no particular order:

The game continues a trend that I last noticed in the film Jiang Ziya (姜子牙, 2020): gods are the true villains. This just seems like an attempt to maintain the status quo of the CCP's institutionalized atheism (I'm an atheist by the way, just not anti-theist). Someone please correct me if you think I'm overreaching.

Wukong forsaking his Buddhahood makes no sense as his attainment of enlightenment is the culmination of his original story. The game spits in the face of his great sacrifices and efforts by making such changes. Also, Buddhahood is a state of being and not just a title that can be discarded.

Monkey's plan to remove the headband via reincarnation (or whatever you want to call it) just seems really, really convoluted.

The many changes to the original characters' established story arcs are unnecessary. For example, Red Boy "finishes" his discipleship under Guanyin and returns to being a dick. So dumb.
