born in chengdu, china, but his mother moved them to new orleans when he was three

it took him another year of begging for her to let him do it tbh so she pulled her savings and put him on a plane and uhhh as they say the rest is history!

jk, he got through, everything is good, he debuted at 20 after 4 years of intense training 

his boy group has super cute concepts though and as much fun as he’s having, it really isn’t huan’s style. he’s out there on stage wearing cute ass pastel outfits and blowing kisses into crowds but he’d rather harmonise about sucking dick on 3 different tracks

tbh that’s why trap kind of exists? everyone in trap is a member of other groups or a soloist usually known for being cute, but their concepts are hella dark & mature

both groups are currently on an extended hiatus because of individual projects; acting, comebacks, etc

originally, huan was supposed to take online classes in a different subject but bc he’s so free atm, he’s decided he’s good to physically attend school for a while. his management might pull some strings and get it switched to an online degree if anything in his life changes, but for now... he’s here! uwu

he studies vocal performance because he lowkey misses the intense vocal training from when he was a trainee & also bc it ensures he practices while being away from his groups

also kinda why he dances & he’s a part of the music society too. music is basically his entire life, he doesn’t know a world outside of it

So he’s a Preacher’s Kid. Or was a Preacher’s Kid who grew up in a small town in Kansas. When he was 13 his father caught Spencer kissing another boy and all hell broke loose.

His parents insisted that Spencer’s “gayness” needed to be reversed. So he started seeing a counselor who brainwashed him into believing that being gay was a choice and a sin of nature.

For a few years he was miserable. He tried to be with girls but hated himself for not feeling the way they felt about him. He beat himself up internally and externally, using his anger to crack his knuckles against mirrors and walls etc.

He was 16 when he met Xavier, a 21 one year old college student taking a break from college at Beaumont who Spencer fell hard for. He coaxed Spencer out of this front he held up and allowed his walls to break free for this man. The two fell in love. It didn’t take long before his father found out about this affair and he immediately kicked Spencer out of the house.

Spencer and Xavier used what little money they had to travel to Columbia and to get an apartment together. For awhile, everything was fine and Spencer was happy being free and living his life. Until Xavier realized he was HIV+ He passed away 4 years later and Spencer stood by his side for every second of it. Spencer promised Xavier he’d give life another chance.

It’s a been a year since Xavier’s passing and Spencer is just trying to not spiral. He doesn’t allow himself to become too close to anyone, he works as a barista and believes it’s somehow his fault that Xavier passed, even though Spencer is HIV negative. He believes he’s a burden and is afraid to love anyone in any capacity. He’ll lose himself in drugs, alcohol and meaningless sex but the poor soul feels himself wilting away.

He’s a sweet, passionate, loving and caring boy who has endured a lot. Once you break down his walls, he’ll be one of the best people you can know because when he’s carefree and letting loose, it’s a contagious sight.

Is a total fuck boy at this point. LOVES sex and will flirt with you even if you’re straight.

Basically always drunk at this point, it’s the only way he can not feel and thus the only way he can get through life.

He’s originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Him and his brother  came from a family of divorce. His dad deciding a twenty two year old mistress was worth leaving his family for. Most likely because the alcohol got to his brain.

Growing up he had little side jobs, helping his mother make ends meet. He mowed people’s lawns, raked and shoveled paths, etc. From the beginning he knew what hard work was. 

By end of middle school his mother remarried and they were pretty good on money then. They even had enough to send Sunny and his brother to low budge classes for their hobbies. Sunny had choose Dance since he loved doing it from as long as he could remember.

As he got older the better he got. He’d enter in competitions and won many of them over time, getting scholarships and grants. Sunny was and is the type to work nonstop until he gets the thing he wants.

He got the nickname Sunny by his mother, she liked to say he had the smile to bright up the sky. So it stuck. 

Sunny is lowkey an alcoholic, the genes he got from his father. Doesn’t like to be told he has a problem.

malee  comes  from  a  family  of  a  more  humble  background. they’re  the  type  of  family  that  would  count  coins  to  make  ends  meet  some days. it  wasn’t  until  she  was  around  14  years  old  that  her  family  moved  to  america. she  still  has  her  accent, which  let  me  tell  you, i  love  with  my  whole  heart. if  you  thought  that  lisa’s  accent  wasn’t  gonna  be  canon ? now  you  know. we  stan. back  on  subject ; her  parents, as  they  did  back  home, run  a  restaurant. they  serve  genuine  thai  food  &  drinks. so, it’s  just  a  nice  place  to  go  eat  &  hang  out. 

lena  is  very  prim  &  proper. she  was  brought  up  to  know  how  to  present  herself  to  the  world. her  image  reflects  her  family. that’s  what  has  been  forced  onto  her  for  years  now. so, as  you  can  imagine, she’s  rather  cautious. her  inner  circle  is  very  tight knit. although, she  never  truly  reveals  her  true  thoughts  to  anyone. not  even  her  closest  friends. and, truthfully, she’s  bound  to  crack  at  some  point  with  all the  things  that  she  is  constantly  holding  in.

The first part of Emma’s life was filled with lots of love from two parents. However, a freak accident left her to one mom who did her best to raise Emma with all the love and attention she needed. But trying and doing are different. Emma’s mom often needed to work multiple jobs to make ends meet, leaving Emma to fend for herself a lot. She always wanted to make her moms proud and so she did her best to always focus on school, where she could really shine. Her mom’s economic condition sparked a human rights interest in Emma, leading her down the path of law. That being said, she never forgets that her first love was really dance; a place where she could just forget about the struggles facing her family. She’s always had to work twice as hard for all that she has, and truly wants to make the world a better place. Her work ethic is strong, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to party; just that is takes a little coaxing to go. Emma works two part time jobs in college to help pay for things like club memberships and clothes.

first thing’s first, you should call her slater. in fact, unless you’re in one of her classes where they take attendance, you probably don’t know her real name is romy. she hates her name and has been going by her last name for as long as she can remember. 

she’s from new york. her dad is very demanding and tempered and her mom is carping, cold and judgmental. so she didn’t grow up in a great situation. 

her dad owns a bunch of properties in the city and in new jersey and they’ve made him very wealthy. they’re mostly crap apartments, motels & strip clubs. he has a lot of criminal ties and is pretty much just a creep.

he has a lot of cops, district attorneys, city council members, deputy mayors etc. on his payroll from bribery and/or blackmail stemming from his strip clubs and the dancers and prostitutes who work there. not to mention his mob affiliation. sooo basically he’s teflon. 

slater’s mom is a social climber who won’t leave her husband despite him being….Not Nice™ since she wants to live lavishly. she’s long island trash...very real housewives

her mom is very selfish and refuses to take any responsibility for the way her life choices have fucked up her daughter while also constantly criticizing slater and her behaviors as if slater just…made herself into the person she is today?? and wasn’t molded by her parents and environment, ya know??

anyway, slater’s mom used to pharmacy shop and put slater on drugs to curb her justified behaviors. like having anxiety due to growing up in a dysfunctional and abusive situation. but she also did it to have slater basically labeled as “mentally ill” and on meds to keep her quiet about their family secrets. so slater has always felt like she’s messed up, even as a kid :///

slater still sees her parents occasionally on breaks and holidays and you can expect her to act out in interesting ways after being forced to go home. 

personality; 

sO! if slater had a label or trope or whatever, she’d totally be the anti-heroine. ya know, the girl who does fucked up shit and can be amoral and you want to hate her but she’s also sympathetic in a way and good (deep down). 

warning: she’s a messy girl to be involved with. she’s got this emptiness inside of her. a hollowness. (hint; it’s depression). she uses anything she can to try and fill it up. drinking, drugs, sex. but she’s incredibly selfish & impulsive in her pursuits and ends up hurting people. a lot. and she always hates herself after but then just does it again.

she’s not a sociopath or narcissist in a clinical sense. she’s actually an insecure, self-conscious ball of anxiety but pushes all that down and plays the Cool Girl role. she does things she knows are wrong and can be a manipulative bitch. then it all eventually bubbles over like a pot on a stove, and paired with the guilt she feels, it causes a few public and many private meltdowns. but she's usually always the source of her own interpersonal issues tbh.

like, you can confront her with receipts of shit she’s done and she’ll just nod and stare at the ground and walk away. but then go into the nearest public bathroom and sob and feel so bad. but then??? still?? never??? apologize???? she’s a trip. 

her aesthetic is uncombed hair, scuffed docs, flannels, torn jeans, tshirts from goodwill with moth holes. doesn’t shower or sleep often and chews her fingernails into stubs. like, she almost makes it a point to just look...Bad.

she gets really good grades because she can be very manic and intense. people in her high school used to tell her she had “crazy eyes” when she got like this because she gets very focused, perfectionistic, talks a mile a minute and you can practically see the gears turning in her brain. she works well under extreme stress, which is why most of her papers are typed up the night before their due date on five cups of coffee and a half pack of cigarettes. 

perceptive of others and can be manipulative and a liar to either a. get what she wants or b. hide her transgressions. she was raised by narcissists so....this is what ya get.

she’s complicated. because on one hand, she wants to be a good person but on the other hand, she fucks people over and betrays people a lot. 

i actually have a headcanon of how she lost her core group of high school friends that’s a good insight into her M.O. if you'd like to hear it:

so senior year slater got drunk and slept with her best friend alyssa’s boyfriend. she didn’t do it to be malicious. but she was too selfish, drunk & thinking about herself to care about how fucked up it was. she felt so bad about it but then caved and did it again and they had an affair. slater eventually broke it off, bottled up her guilt, continued the friendship with alyssa.

soon after, alyssa got pregnant by the same boyfriend. slater knew that alyssa’s bf was trash and supported her friend through an abortion.

but THEN, the boyfriend came clean and admitted the affair long after the fact. so alyssa thought slater supported her abortion for selfish gains because SHE wanted her boyfriend and (rightfully) felt betrayed. when in actuality, slater had long since stopped fucking him and only wanted what was best for alyssa when she supported her through the abortion. SO she did a bad thing in the past but still had good intentions. however, the past came back to bite her and she lost everything. don't get me wrong, she's not the victim in this situation. she fucked up. but not in the way her friends thought. so when she held her best friend's hand in the procedure, that came from a real place of love and she thought she was doing the right thing. however, she did do unforgivable things to the friend she loved. like i said, she's complicated because you can't outright say she's a soulless monster but you also can't justify or support her actions. 

YEAH! that’s my messy slater. she can never make it out of a situation as the good guy. she makes mistakes that are unjustifiable but she has a good heart and isn’t a horrible person inside. she doesn’t know why she is the way she is but she hates it tbh. she hates the things she does and the way she feels. but she just!!! keeps!!! fucking people over!!!! like, there’s no sugarcoating it: she’s done some terrible things for awful reasons and never apologized for any of it. but she regrets. she just can’t seem to break the cycle. (she's v much inspired by rachel goldberg from unreal as well as gretchen cutler from you're the worst, mickey dobbs from love, camille preaker from sharp objects and mavis gary from the film young adult!!)

ahhh asgdhf, there’s a lot that can be said about our girl savannah here, but right off the bat most have always known her as the resident proverbial “wild child."

her mother got pregnant at a young age, she had just started college, her father was a few years older but was still in college too, that’s where they met. both were dependent and had unfavorable financial conditions. her dad dropped out of college and got a part time work to save as much of money as he could until the time the baby was born.

after she was born her mom went back to college and got a degree in business while her dad got a job museum since he majored history in school

when they got financially stable they decided to have another child and her parents finally decided to move in together. from this moment her family was getting richer.

at the same time that savannah was a spoiled kid, she values the money that they have, she knows how much her father worked to give her the good life she has and that it wasn’t always that way.

is vry close with her father and knows she can get whatever she wants but she tries not to take advantage of it. TRIES but ends up doing so but her dad doesn’t mind at all

at the age of 13, savannah walked in on her mom banging the family lawyer and her parents relationship when down the drain.. after a vry messy divorce her mom got full custody of her and her brother.

after that savnnah think that her family became vry dysfunctional family. they weren’t like a lot of the families that they seen on tv or even heard from others in school. she didn’t really mind though since this was her family and is what she grew up around.

she has one younger brother whom she loves and cares for most out of the entire family. even if they bicker and definitely don’t see eye to eye a lot, but at the end of the day she will always have his back!! ( for the good and bad things!!)

her relationship with her mother and step father...it isn’t much of a relationship! throughout the years cass grew a hatred for them as she got older. realizing that neither gave a fck about any of them.

she had been trying to be the goody goody child throughout her whole childhood and during a vry little time of high school. bring home straight A’s to her parents … if they were ever around.

in high school everything changed for cassidy. she was definitely what you would call a loose cannon – totally disrespectful, obscene, and unpredictable, always doing whatever it was she felt like doing at any given moment.
