Depression meals Battinson has made himself at least once while unsupervised to the shock and horror of Alfred
(Alfred has to sleep at some point. that’s when Bruce decides to wreak havoc and make these barely edible monstrosities)
(Btw he’s vegetarian, fucking fight me)
Pepper jack cheese between two seaweed sheets
Uncooked ramen dipped in the seasoning packet
Ready rice with cold tofu
Spoonfuls of peanut butter
Instant grits with one slice of American cheese
Pop tart dipped in hot chocolate
Spaghetti noodles with no other ingredient than a mountain parmesan, didn’t even put salt in the water
“Technically bread” (water and flour, microwaved…he was having a really bad day)
Bread, cheese, ketchup, microwave = pizza
Cream cheese and jelly sandwich
Vegan hot dog microwaved without a plate. He picked it up from the microwave with a piece of white bread and ate it just like that. No dirty dishes
kraft mac and cheese with one single raw asparagus
Various little kiddie-themed smoothie shots
Dry cereal
Cheddar cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla
Vegan dinosaur nuggets (microwaved, tho he tried to cook it in his hot coffee once, it didn’t work)
Frozen snap peas straight from the bag, unthawed
Tomato soup with cheez-its sprinkled on top
Tried to make a meal completely out of vitamin supplements once, based entirely on the exact amount of nutrients you need in a day
A family-sized bag of generic brand corn chips
Hard boiled eggs (they were supposed to be soft-boiled) and paprika
Blueberry bagel, toasted, no butter
Cold chicken noodle soup in one of those paper cartons from the corner store (it gave him food poisoning)
Microwave grilled cheese
Cucumber rolls (cucumber slices he rolled in microwave rice)
Leftover cake washed down with a protein shake
A hunk of mozzarella cheese, microwaved
Frozen Garlic bread (it’s actually good like that, he swears)
Four 5-hour energy shots to make a 20-hour energy (his heart rate didn’t go back to normal for two days)
Fruit snacks squished between two slices of wheat bread
Tried to dry scoop protein powder once, worked about as well as the cinnamon challenge
Pistachios with the shells (it was an accident. He did not notice)
Refried refried beans (for protein)
Handfuls of mushy, room temperature blueberries
Tofu block cut up with a spam slicer and dipped in mustard

Hi Newt
Media - The Maze Runner Series Character - Newt Couple - Newt X Reader Reader - Y/n Rating - Adorable Word Count - 2318
Tumblr media
As I finished up the load of laundry, I felt a sense of relief. With the last hoodie hung up on the line, I moved over to my washing tub and threw in the next load. The water started to heat up, and I left it be for a while.
Wiping my hands dry from all the damp laundry, I took a moment to look at myself. I was wearing my favourite pair of small sneakers, My grey denim shorts had been with me for a while now, but I still loved how they fit me. The blue vest stolen from one of the boy's stuff when the box came up, My white hoodie was wrapped around my waist, waiting for the next time I needed to cover up.
I took a closer look at my hair, which I had styled earlier in the morning. It was a vibrant Y/H/C, flowing down my back in a long braid. I had tied it up with a blue ribbon, to match the colour of my vest.
As I waited for the new load to soak and heat up, I decided to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As I strolled across the soft green grass, I passed by the kitchen, the slicers, and the med jacks. However, my destination was the garden. The fresh and sweet-smelling air was refreshing, and I couldn't help but admire the beautiful plants growing slowly. The garden was a sight to behold, and as I made my way through it, I caught sight of something familiar.
Newt was standing by the raised beds, surrounded by an assortment of tools and gardening supplies. He had his hands deep in the rich soil, carefully planting some of the new cuttings. Despite the warm weather, he wore a tattered and patched pair of brown trousers, along with a well-worn orange vest. His dirty white hoodie was covered in stains and tatters he never lets me wash it, and his blonde hair was a messy mop of dusty, dirty strands.
I couldn't resist sneaking up on him, giggling silently to myself as I approached. I took care to step lightly and avoid any twigs or leaves that might give me away. When I was close enough, I reached out and tickled his waist,
"Hi Newt!"
"Ahhh!" He yelped jumping out of his skin and turning to face me, his eyes went wide, his cheeks turned red, and his arms quickly pulled on the hem of his hoodie, "Uhh I uhh I umm I ughhh H- Hi - Hi-low-" He stuttered before he took a firm breath before he finally spoke, "Hi Y/n."
"Hi," I smiled, "Whatcha doin'"
"Gardenin'" He gulped,
"I see that," I laughed, "What are you up to?" I smiled leaning on the raised beds to see his work,
"Oh ughhh, I uhhh well uhh just some cuttings from the beans and uhh some runners from the strawberries,"
"Awww cute, well you still owe me a big bowl of strawberries when they're ready,"
"Yeah, yeah I know," He rubbed the back of his neck,
"Good, well you have fun I need to get back to the laundry," I smiled tussling his hair as I turned to head back to work,
"Yeah, I uhhh- Y/n?" he asked,
So I turned back to face him, "Yeah Newt?"
"I uh- it's nothing, don't worry about it."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, it's nothing, you head back to work."
"Alright, see you at dinner," I waved,
"See ya!" he waved,
I found a comfortable spot under a tall tree, right next to the deadheads. I bit into my nice juicy apple, which was to be my breakfast for the day. The glade was still quite peaceful, as most of the runners were still asleep. The few who were awake were heading to the showers to start their day. The kitchens were bustling with activity, preparing the runners' packs and prepping for breakfast. I could smell the aroma of fresh sizzling sausages from the distance. Most of the boys were either snoring in their hammocks in the homestead or lying on the grass, still dozing off. I started a fire under my washing pot, anticipating the pile of dirty clothes that would soon be coming in from the boys. The sun had just started to rise, casting a warm golden glow over the glade, and the birds were chirping happily. It was a serene and peaceful morning, and I felt content to just sit back and enjoy the tranquillity.
As I sat I noticed someone else up and about, and as they came into view I saw it was Newt,
"Awww Hi Newt,"
"Hi Y/n," He blushed rubbing his neck, "Can uhh... can I sit?"
"Course," I patted the grass beside me so he came and sat beside me, "How'd you sleep?"
"Same as ever," he answered grimacing slightly as he crossed his bad ankle over the other,
"I'm willing to trade every so often you know?"
"What?!" he jumped a little,
"I have a bed. Well... what Gally calls a bed. You have a hammock. I'm willing to like trade a night if you want to help your ankle?"
"You are too sweet," he smiled, "I'll be okay, I just need to steal my spare pillow back from Minho,"
"Why does Minho have it?"
"He stole it after he hurt his back trying to move the bench,"
"Ohh yeah," I nodded, "Well the offer is there,"
"Thanks, Y/n," He smiled, "Can uhh can I ask you something?"
"Sure?"
"Are uhhh are you gonna be busy today?"
"Uhhh I don't think so. No more than usual, I'll be busy when all the boys get up and drop off their stuff but other than that I should have a fairly normal day," I explained, "Why? Are you gonna let me wash your hoodie?"
"No." He glared,
"Newt! Please!"
"My hoodie is fine,"
"Newt, it smells like a teenage boy!"
"I am a teenage boy!"
"Please just a little wash?"
"No,"
"Fine," I pouted, "Why did you ask about my day then?"
"Can't I just be curious about your day?" he protested, "And uhh... I wanted to know if maybe you wanted to join me for lunch today?"
"I mean don't we all just have lunch together?"
"Well yes, but I thought maybe we could have lunch together? ... just you and me? ... like uhh like a date?"
"A date?"
"Yeah?"
"I think I'd like that," I nodded,
"You would?!"
"I would, I'd love to have a lunch date with you Newt."
"Okay! that uhh that's great I uhh I'll make sure to set it up for us," He blushed, "Are uhh are you really sure?"
"I'm positive Newt," I nodded, "If you let me wash your hoodie!"
He sighed and rolled his eyes, "Is that really the price?"
"Yep,"
"...Fine," he sighed, "A basic wash, nothing more. I expect it back by lunch?"
"...Fine," I sighed,
He sat up a little more and pulled off his hoodie and he held it in his hands, "Be gentle Y/n,"
"I will!" I smiled snatching it from his hands and taking it to wash,
"I'll see you for lunch yeah!"
"You will Newt!"
As I worked on the last load of laundry, I found myself humming a little tune. The sun was slowly setting, casting a warm glow over the walls of the Glade. All around me, boys were bustling about, making preparations for the bonfire that was to take place later that evening. I could hear the sounds of laughter and chatter as the day began to wind down.
As I emptied my washing pot for the last time, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at having completed the task for the day. I started to hang everything on the line to dry during the hot night, taking care to make sure that each item was secured properly. I hung up the last shirt and turned to head back inside, looking forward to the festivities that were to come.
But suddenly, everything went dark.
"Hey! Who goes there!" I complain,
"Guess," Newt smirked,
"Easter bunny?" I joked,
"... Yes," He sighed,
"Oh? You going to bring me some chocolate?"
"No, but I have something equally sweet," he smiled kissing my cheek,
I laughed and turned to see him, "Hi Newt,"
"Hi Y/n,"
"Can I have something even more sweet?"
"You may,"
So I smiled and caressed his cheek as we moved closer and shared a sweet kiss or two, or five,
"Will you two quit making out!" Minho yelled as he ran past,
"Shuck off!" Newt yelled to him, "I missed you."
"Aww, you did?"
He nodded, "You didn't come visit today,"
"I got busy, Winston gave me all the slicers aprons to do,"
"I know, I just missed you is all,"
"I missed you too," I giggled giving him more kisses,
"And what is this?" He asked tugging on his hoodie as I was wearing it,
"I didn't get to see you," I shrug,
"Give." He demanded,
"Fine," I sighed slipping it off and handing it over so he quickly slipped it on,
"Ohh... can I get you wearing it once you've washed it every time?"
"Why?"
"Now it's warm and smells like you,"
"I'll consider it, come on before Fry gives out all the bacon,"
"Yeah come on, we can have a cuddle by the fire."
I sat on my small makeshift bed, ready to sleep the darkness well and truly having engulfed the glade. I was about to turn over and sleep when there was a small knock on my hut door, so I got up and fixed myself a little slipping my shorts back on.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Y/n,"
"Ohh come on in Newt," I smiled sitting back on my little bed,
"Ohh uhhh okay," He gulped, as he came through with something behind his back.
"Hi Newt," I smiled,
"Hi Y/n," He blushed,
"I didn't know it was a cosy bed-sharing night?" I smirked a little,
"No, it's not," he blushed, "But uhh it could be?" He encouraged,
"I'm sure it could be," I chuckled tapping my bed,
He happily jumped on beside me and continued to hide something behind him,
"What have you got there?"
"I uhh I have a question to ask you?"
"Oh? I don't know how you hide a question?"
"Like this," he blushed a little before he revealed his hoodie which he brought over and set between us,
"Yes... it's your hoodie?"
"I uhh I wanted to uhh offer it to you?"
"Offer it?"
"Yeah, I wanted to offer my hoodie to you."
"To wear this week?"
"To keep."
"To Keep!? But you love your hoodie,"
"I do, but I love you more."
"Awww Newt," I wanted to cry hugging his hoodie to my chest,
"I uhh I thought maybe we could trade something for it?"
"Oh?"
"Maybe I agree to give you my hoodie, and you agree to... marry me?"
I felt my heart skip a beat, and my eyes went wide, "Newt-" I stuttered, "You uhh you asked..."
"You to agree to marry me, yes." He nodded, "If uhhh you wanted to." he blushed rubbing the back of his neck, but I jumped forward and kissed him he happily wrapped his arms around me and kissed me back until we finally pulled away, "I uhh is that a yes?"
I smiled slipped his hoodie on and gave him another kiss, "Yes."
"Really!?"
"Really!"
"I love you so much Y/n!" He pulled us back into a sweet little kiss,
I giggled, as I finished drying my hair and got into my best clothes even if that was a pair of shorts and Newt's hoodie which I had cleaned up special for today. When Minho came and tapped on my door,
"You ready Girlyglader!" He laughed,
"I am ready," I laughed,
"Shall I tell Newt you're leaving him at the fire?"
"No," I warn opening my door and heading out of my hut,
"You look cute Girly,"
"Thanks, Minho," I chuckled as we started to walk through the twilight glade,
"You sure about this?"
"I'm sure," I laughed,
"You're gonna be Mrs Newt,"
"I guess so," I laughed,
"You sure you don't wanna turn around?"
"Minho. Seriously. I'm sure." I nodded,
"Alright," he sighed rubbing my arms a little, "Just checking Girly," he nodded, "But hey..." he sniffled, "You two have kids I'm an uncle right?"
"Yes, you will be." I chuckled,
He nodded and headed into the glade without me,
I waited a moment and held my breath before I stepped out of the tree line, the sun set below the walls, the doors shut up for the night, the twilight hung low, the sky full of stars, and the boys had gathered with the bonfire at the end yet to be lit, There is where Newt stood, waiting for me. He saw me and he almost cried, but I did my best to hold my tears too. I made my way over and as soon as I was close enough he offered his hand which I took and squeezed tight as I stood beside him. He sniffled and let out a long unsteady breath,
"Hi Newt," I smiled,
"Hi Y/n," He choked up, "I don't know how... or why... but you look even more beautiful than usual,"
"Awww, you look extra handsome Newt," I smiled kissing his cheek,
"Alby, could you please do the honours before I start balling," he asked,
"Alright, as weird as this is. Do you Newt take Y/n to be your wife? to be committed to her, to love her, to treat her well always, in the glade and beyond?"
"I do," Newt nodded fighting back tears,
"And Y/n do you take Newt to be your husband? To be committed to him, to love him, to treat him well always, even if he's a dumb ass. in the glade and beyond?"
"I do," I nodded,
"Then by my authority as leader of the glade. I pronounce you as husband and wife." Alby nodded,
I almost squealed or burst into a shared of joy but Newt and I both held each other as tight, before we took the torches and the two of us lit the bonfire together.
Cuddled close in the sweet light of the fire, under the shimmering stars we shared our first kiss as husband and wife.

Decided to give the HT fandom a break and post some Bendy stuff. XD
I FINALLY recently watched some playthroughs of "Secrets of the Machine" since I was busy back in April and came up with some little drawings for WIR-Verse Ragtime Guffie (a new toon introduced in the game) and Toddler!Jack from @lovelylivelyv .
SPOILERS UNDER CUT!:
I kinda like the idea Secrets of the Machine os something of an Easter Egg or update to the Bendy Arcade machine. Ragtime Guffie is more or less the keeper of The Drawing Board (the main area of the game) and leads a much quieter and safer life than others in the Cycle, even if it's a bit lonesome sometimes. The only dangers include a Horror form of Gaskette called "Blood Wheel" accessed by a special door, a possessed Bendy costume that mostly whispers a reversed version of "Build our Machine" unless harrassed with a special bacon soup can, and occasionally the Ink Demon jumpscaring the player if they stay in the pause menu too long or break all his cutouts using soup or bean cans. Or, more specifically to him, getting pelted by canned food until he poofs and resets the game. (Norman shows up as a secret where if you hit his head, he screams. Alice's voice says "He hates it when I do that" as a warning for the Bendy Cutout ending. Bendy appears as The Ink Demon and as Bendy hiding in the walls, and there's this odd secret where if you eat 25 bacon soup cans then go to a wall with a soup can and break it when you hear a burp, there's a rave party going on between the Ink Demon, Twisted Alice, Sammy, Wilson, and Slicer. XD But aside from Ragtime Guffie, the monster Bloodwheel, and the possessed Bendy Costume, there's not many characters in this game that aren't easter eggs somehow.)
So, Jack being something of an Easter egg and a curious wanderer himself, I thought it'd be cute if Ol' Guffie ended up finding this strange little Nephalem child down in the Drawing Board one day and had to care for and protect the little ink spot while trying to let his parents know where he was....which of course involved the sacrifice of a few cutouts and cans.
Also fun to give Guffie a bit more characterization since you don't really learn much about him other than him basically being there to welcome the player when they unlock the theater or enter the drawing room, him appearing briefly as a spooky easter egg at the begining, or his little groans and "Why's" when you pelt him with cans.

me having a depressive episode and drinking since noon and eating coffee beans because i have so little left to live for in my life and i can't find the motivation to care that i'm going to be homeless and starving in about 3 days because rent no longer includes food and i can't find the will or just ability to get a better paying job so i might as well let my family choose my entire life from here out anyway because that's what is always the most relevant aspect of any attempts of my own to live my life. i fuck up because i'm a worthless loser of no value and should have finished ruining my body forever by sticking my hand in the meat slicer at work since i already can't draw anymore anyway but i can't let anyone know that because i still have to give some illusion that i'm still physically abled but i can't even hold chopsticks correctly anymore let alone draw for ten minutes:
and for the scum villain musical that lives in my head rent free shang qinghua and shen yuan confront each other post the abyss and as they're working on their plan discuss why PIDW became what it did but they discuss it in the terms of the hell of making a stage production and the changes that can happen between previews which implies shen yuan came to literally every preshowing they had which is a psycho move. the dialogue leading into the song goes something like
"What even happened to this play? I saw the initial showings. I saw what you had and every new viewing it got worse and worse! It's hardly the same play" SY
"You think I don't know that? You think I'm not aware of how many rewrites and workshops went on every rehearsal. You think I wanted it to turn out like this?" SQH
"Then why did you let it become like this?" SY
"Why? WHY? WHY?????" SQH we lead into song. i just have lyrics. i'm no composer so go with me on this. I imagine the lead in is like a twangy acoustic guitar
"The nature theatre is cutthroat and sharp. And to make profit you have to play it smart."
"And easy. Ambition is rarely- ever- awarded."
"Get too ahead of the game and you will be just shorted. The stage is limited and the score is set and match."
"You do what you must. The script that we trust, to put us in the place we need to be. Inevitably. A gamble that is meant to fail. But you stand through with and you do it so you can pay the bills."
"So what if the motivation doesn't make sense? So what if the final act is lacking in being tense."
"The sponsors say through out the drama- add a lotta- ROM COM ELEMENTS!"
"You cut and take all the things you like. Praying one more day to keep on the lights. Just for one chance at fame and to have people see your name."
He stops singing to hold up pages of the prop script, "Every showing a new comment from a new critic and investor was piled on. Oh, Shen Qingqui is focused on too much for being such a minor character. Is this supposed to be a thematic parallel? It's not very strong. Maybe just cut it. Maybe you need more comedic numbers in the third act? Have you considered making the play a harem."
"More anime. More wish fulfillment! More things that sell!!"
Lead back into singing but still kinda singtalking, "And you just go along with it. Because it's been three weeks and you haven't eaten anything but fucking ramen noodles and soy sauce packets you stole from work. The heat hasn't been on and it's winter and at this point you're just done trying to have an artistic vision in the collaborative joy that is musical theatre."
"So you cut and take all the things you like. Just doing your best just to get it right. Hoping one more moment that you can make it work all the same."
"The score is mess. I'm doing my best! And if it can still be a hit- that's all I want from this!"
"It's not okay but you go on through it. Push and shove all the thoughts put to it. Knowing that it's for the best to make it all a big success."
"The tentpole is awful which for this is unlawful. The opener's a rip off but you try just play it though. The script is manic- don't worry or panic."
"That's how the whole game is played. If it's a satire too soon on market it will fail. For a social commentary the timing must avail. Romance seems easy but the market is fickle. Hamilton was big but Great Comet still failed."
anddddddd i don't have anymore than that..... please forgive but. basically song is 90% our hamster man being meta about creative industry because my favorite element of svsss regarding him is how he's a complete meta comment from the author about the hell of having to make art that makes money and not what you want. whether the original draft would have been a better book or not is irrelevant to the fact that his motivation was completely based in profit and if there is one thing musical flops make me think about is how being ahead or thinking up a new idea for a musical doesn't mean you'll succeed. Remember Dear Evan Hanson swept the tony's and The Great Comet shut down. The Grinch musical was weirdly a huge finacial hit despite being souless as hell but Elf the Musical which was weirdly a passion project struggled.
good art is sadly not always profitable

Gluten-free food options
Ever wondered if that ice-cold Coco-Cola you were eying up is gluten-free? Ever wanted to know if pizza and pasta are gluten-free? How about your favorite cheeseburger and fries? How about the Vodka and Beer? Whatever it is that you are looking for, we got you covered in this list of gluten-free foods. A gluten-free foods list can be a valuable resource. You have been spending hours and hours navigating stores and restaurants to find gluten-free food options and it may be really challenging at times. Therefore on hand, the gluten-free foods list below might help you know what to look for (and what to look out for) when choosing grains and other foods that may contain gluten. Below are a few things to look out for when you're buying gluten-free foods. 1. Gluten-Free Whole Grains: Oats, Cereals, Bread, and More…
Grains (including bread, pasta, rice, and crackers), specifically whole grains, are an important part of a healthy diet. Whole grains are a good source of healthy carbohydrates, providing energy to get you through the day. Most whole grains are high in fiber, which keeps you full and helps with digestion. Though many grains have gluten, a wide variety is naturally gluten-free.
Naturally Gluten-Free Grains & Starches: Rice Quinoa Millet Oats (use oats labeled "gluten-free," as oats are often cross-contaminated with wheat and barley.) Cassava/Yuca Sorghum Teff Corn Buckwheat Amaranth Potatoes and potato flour
2. Gluten-Free Vegetables & Fruits All fresh, whole vegetables and fruits are naturally gluten-free and important to include in a gluten-free diet. Organic local produce mostly delivers a variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. However, you need to look out for sneaky gluten once you move out of the produce aisle. Plain fresh and frozen (without sauce) vegetables are all gluten-free, but make sure to double-check ingredient lists on packages to be sure. When buying canned veggies, buy those packed with water or natural juices (typically the healthier option anyway). Here's what to look out for when selecting gluten-free fruit and vegetables.
What to Avoid When Shopping for Fruits and Vegetables: Hydrolyzed wheat protein Modified food starch: Check the label if it does not specify what type of starch is used, and check with the manufacturer, as it may be wheat. Malt: Including malt syrup, malt vinegar, malt extract, malt flavoring Gluten stabilizer Maltodextrin: This is OK when made from corn, potato, or rice starch. If it is made from wheat, it will be labeled: you may have a reaction, though many claim the gluten is destroyed in processing.
Safe Ingredients: Corn-starch Potato starch/potato starch flour Distilled vinegar Mono- and diglycerides Oat gum Citric acid, lactic acid, and malic acid
3. Gluten-Free Proteins Most protein sources-both animal and vegetable proteins-are naturally gluten-free. You may use the below list to help you decide which proteins can fit into a gluten-free diet. Naturally Gluten-Free Proteins: Red meat: Fresh beef, pork, lamb, goat, bison, duck, etc. (Avoid marinades as if gluten is added it might sneak into your meat) Poultry: Fresh chicken and turkey (Check if any marination is added) Seafood: Fresh fish, scallops, lobster, clams and more are all naturally gluten-free. (Check if any marination is added) Tofu: It's made from soy, which is gluten-free, but check for any additional ingredients with gluten. Beans Nuts and seeds
Proteins That Need a Second Look: Processed meats: Including hot dogs, pepperoni, sausage, etc. These may have gluten added, so be sure to check the ingredient list and avoid those with wheat gluten, wheat starch, or wheat dextrin. Cold cuts: Cross-contamination can also happen at the deli on the meat slicer. Cold cuts may have gluten-containing ingredients added Ground meat: Ground beef or ground turkey can have gluten added in as filler. Be sure to check the ingredients carefully. Veggie burgers and other meat substitutes: Some flavors and brands are made with ingredients that contain gluten-check the labels.
4. Gluten-Free Sauces, Spices, and Condiments In many common condiments, gluten-containing ingredients can be used as thickeners, stabilizers, or flavor enhancers. Wheat flour is a common thickener in many sauces and marinades, which means they contain gluten. Look out for cross-contamination once these items are in your home. For example, a knife that spreads mustard on wheat bread shouldn't be dipped back into the mustard jar if you want it to stay gluten-free.
Sauces, Spices, and Condiments That Are Usually Safe: Mustard: Some specialty or flavored mustards may contain gluten so always check the ingredients. Mayonnaise: Check the ingredients to be sure though typically not made with gluten. Dry spices: Single-ingredient herbs and spices (think dried basil, garlic powder, chili powder) do not contain gluten, though because of cross-contamination concerns it's best to look for specifically labeled gluten-free spices or check with the manufacturer.
Sauces, Spices, and Condiments That Need a Second Look: Ketchup and Worcestershire sauce: Both condiments can be made using malt vinegar, which is not gluten-free. Double-check the ingredients. Barbecue sauce: Avoid BBQ sauces made with barley-based beer, soy sauce, malt vinegar, and barley malt flour as these typically contain gluten. Soy sauce: Soy sauce is traditionally made with wheat, so it usually is not gluten-free unless otherwise marked. Malt vinegar: Malt vinegar is mostly found in some salad dressings and sauces and it's not gluten-free. However, white vinegar, distilled vinegar, and apple cider vinegar are all gluten-free.
5. Gluten-Free Desserts & Sweets Many sweets and desserts are made with wheat flour or other ingredients with gluten. Be mindful that gluten-free sweets are not necessarily healthier for you than regular treats but they might prevent a bad reaction if you are sensitive to gluten.
Sweets That Are Usually Safe: Chocolate: Chocolate does not naturally contain gluten. There is also a risk of cross-contamination, so it's best to check the label on the chocolate. Hard candy and gummies: Candies don’t usually contain gluten; avoid those listing "wheat flour" as an ingredient. Ice cream, sherbet, gelato, frozen yogurt: These treats are generally gluten-free, but steer clear of those with pretzels, cookie dough, graham crackers, brownie bites, and other gluten-containing add-ins. Sweets to Avoid: Grain-based desserts: Cookies, cakes, brownies, pies, doughnuts, pastries, cheesecake, etc. are almost always made with gluten unless marked "gluten-free." Licorice: Sweet candy may be made with wheat flour and therefore is not gluten-free unless otherwise noted on the packaging. Barley malt: Avoid sweets made with this ingredient, which is used to sweeten some candies and chocolates.
6. Gluten-Free Drinks and Beverages Water, of course, is naturally gluten-free and is your best healthy way to stay hydrated. For all prepared beverages, be sure to check the ingredients, as variations and blends may contain gluten.
Drinks and Beverages That Are Usually Safe: • Coffee and tea: These beverages are both naturally gluten-free, but if you're sensitive to gluten it's best to check and make sure there was no cross-contamination with your coffee beans or tea leaves or added ingredients in blended beverages. • Juices, sodas, and sports drinks: Check the label to be safe, but these generally won't have added gluten-containing ingredients

Cooks who are passionate about their profession are aware of the significant influence that the appropriate instruments may have on their work. The 220-volt grinder is a versatile workhorse that stands out among the necessary kitchen equipment. It provides the ideal combination of precision and power, making it an indispensable device. We are going to delve into the world of 220-volt grinders in this blog post. We will investigate their features, applications, and how they enable home cooks and professional chefs to take their culinary creativity to the next level.
The Power Behind 220-Volt Grinders:
Versatility: Grinders with a voltage of 220 volts are versatile and can be used in the kitchen. The versatility of this sturdy equipment allows them to easily perform a wide range of jobs, including the grinding of coffee beans, spices, and even meat. Their versatility, which allows them to transition between roles, makes them important for a wide variety of culinary applications.
Precision Grinding: When it comes to extracting the full taste potential of ingredients, precision is the key to success. Grinders that operate at a voltage of 220 volts and come with powerful motors and settings that can be adjusted provide users with the ability to get the ideal grind consistency. You may achieve the desired level of control over the flavor and scent of your foods by using these grinders, which range from coarse to fine.
Efficiency: Because time is of the essence in the kitchen, grinders that operate at a voltage of 220 volts are developed with efficiency in mind. The high-powered motors guarantee results that are both swift and consistent, saving cooks important time as they seek to achieve perfection in each and every dish they prepare.
Applications in the Culinary World:
Coffee Connoisseurship: A 220-volt coffee grinder is a game-changer for everyone who enjoys coffee. Having the ability to grind coffee beans to the required consistency can guarantee a unique and delicious coffee experience. This is true regardless of whether you want a powerful espresso or a silky French press brew.
Spice Mastery: To get mastery of spices, you must first grind them fresh in order to discover their actual essence. Using 220-volt wet and dry grinders, you may successfully change entire spices into powders, which will enhance the flavors in your recipes. By incorporating spices such as cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and cardamom into your culinary creations, you may unleash a symphony of fragrances.
Meat Grinding: With a grinder that operates at 220 volts, you may take charge of the preparation of your meat. These grinders make it easier and more enjoyable to make burger blends or sausages with your favorite flavors. You can say goodbye to shop-bought ground meat and hello to the kitchen's 220-volt meat grinder and slicer.
Nut Butter Creation: With a 220-volt grinder, you can embark on a journey into the world of homemade nut butters. These tools enable you to experiment with various flavors and textures, allowing you to create spreads ranging from smooth almond butter to rich peanut butter.
Choosing the right 220 Volt Grinder:
Motor Power: It is critical to consider the motor power of the grinder because it has a direct impact on its performance. When performing labor-intensive tasks like meat grinding, using a higher wattage increases efficiency and durability.
Adjustable Settings: Look for grinders with adjustable settings so you can meet all of your culinary needs. The ability to adjust the size of the grind is critical for achieving the best results in a variety of recipes.
Cleaning Ease: While often overlooked, cleaning ease is an important feature. If you want to make cleaning easier and keep your kitchen clean, look for grinders that have removable pieces that can be washed in the dishwasher.
Durability: Because the grinder will be used frequently in the kitchen, it is critical to invest in one with a strong structure. In order to provide long-lasting performance, components made of stainless steel and a solid construction quality are also utilized.
Conclusion
It is not enough to just pulverize items in order to become an expert in the art of grinding; rather, it is necessary to transform raw components into gourmet masterpieces. MAPS | MALWART
Back to Maps
Malwart: The World’s Megastore™
Dish to the Death’s first official sponsorship with the world’s fastest growing Megastore - Malwart™!  This is a supermarket, a huge building with various departments inside. Malwart™ at its core, however, is a grocery store. Assured quality products at your convenience - if for some reason your kitchen or pantry is lacking in ingredients, you can head on down to Malwart for groceries.
Not only are you spoiled for choice for food and produce, but there are aisles dedicated to healthcare, toiletries, and beauty! Running out of your favourite clown make-up? Are your roots showing or just fancy a new hair colour altogether? Need some more sunscreen after all that time on the beach? Malwart™  has got you.
Have you ever been to a store after 12am? This Walmart seems to have those vibes no matter what time of day it actually is. To say that this store is unsettling is… an understatement. Aside from the outdated pop music echoing around the giant store, you could swear you saw a shadow stocking the shelves, or a shopping cart suddenly rolling away down an aisle all on its own. Anything that’s spilled is mysteriously cleaned up 5 minutes later. The pricing labels are prone to glitch and warp sometimes as you read them.
Maybe it’s best not to browse here for too long…
Anyways, while you do not need money to purchase items, it is heavily encouraged to use the self checkouts towards the exit. Mostly for the viewers’ curiosity… and to keep track of stock demands, of course.
Tumblr media
BB’s Bakery and Café
Once you’ve entered the Grocery Store, to the immediate left you’ll find a Hole in the Wall style Café. It’s cosy and cute and decorated like it was on a Parisian street. The smell of freshly baked bread and roasted coffee beans hits your nose the moment you step through its door. Of course, it's self-serve - but the kitchen is perfectly equipped for even the most expert of bakers, and a stunning barista station that can brew any beverage to the perfect flavour and temperature… if you know how to use it.
There’s a handful of small tables for sipping your lattes inside, and through some patio doors, you’ll find a very small private garden. This garden will only seat a couple, with its table hosting two chairs, a forever-burning candle and a rose in the centre. How romantic!
Tumblr media
The Deli
Located towards the back of Malwart™, the Deli can be found. The freshest cuts of meat (both real and faux!) can be found here. You can choose from a pre-cut selection done by automated machines, or try a hand at it yourself! There’s a professional meat slicer, so many knives, and even a salad bar—gotta have some greens with that meat.
Malwart ™ is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or death should you cut your own meat.
Tumblr media
Warehouse
Attached to the very back of the megastore, the Warehouse is a very large and spacious place. It’s easy to get lost, as all the aisles look the same, with the occasional flickering light. You know the show can afford decent electrics, so it's assumed the flickering is done for ambience.
Since Malwart ™ isn’t staffed with actual people, the Warehouse is eerily empty and almost non-functioning. There’s a forklift parked in the middle of one of the aisles, but the keys are nowhere to be found unless you’re forklift certified, which is probably for the best. It’s heavy machinery! Speaking of, there’s also an industrial trash compactor back here, too.
In the hours of the early morning, there is a rare chance you may catch robots scurrying around doing their stock fulfilment duties. Just… you’re not sure where they get their goods from. Is it delivered by sea? By air? By secret tunnel? (SECRET TUNNEL!) Who’s to say…
Tumblr media
Breakroom
Connected to a corridor from the Warehouse, you can find yourself in the Breakroom! Not like there’s any cashiers or anything to take a break, so it’s free for you to use. There’s several well-stocked vending machines for snacks and drinks, tables and chairs for sitting or whatever else you do with them, and even a pool table to smack some balls around. It looks like someone has been playing tic-tac-toe on the whiteboard mounted on the wall.
There’s an old stereo—do any of you young’n’s know how to use it? Many tapes feature Toppin’ Pop Hits from the 80s to 90s. Maybe even some early 00s. Get your boogie on… if you manage to get the stereo playing, that is.
Tumblr media
Security
Malwart ™ takes its security very seriously, even on an island that only hosts 18 people! Well, less now but – You can find the security room just opposite of the Breakroom. It’s a very small box room, with a desk, a defunct computer and many monitors. The technology seems to be retro purely for aesthetic’s sake.
And yes, the cameras and monitors work. You can watch the goings on of all of Malwart ™ (and only Malwart™) from these monitors, as each location has its own screen that periodically cycles through the different cameras.
Every once in a while, you could swear you see unfamiliar figures in the footage walking down the aisles, but you know that no one else is on this island besides you… right?
Tumblr media
Parking Lot
Following the corridor from the Warehouse, past the Breakroom and Security office, you’ll find yourself outside in an obsolete parking lot. Like, really, what was the point of building this? Who has cars on an island? It’s totally empty.
Oh well, there’s plenty of space to race around in the Malwart™ shopping carts if you so desire. Maybe set up a course with the traffic cones left around the place. It seems like a makeshift basketball hoop has been put up on one of the lamp posts. Surely you can keep yourself entertained out there if you need to.
