Order visa GoShop by @gojekindonesia sangat disarankan. 📸 by @wewentweshare #nasikuning #nasibungkusdaun #nasibungkus #nasi #indonesiabanget #masakanlokal #makananlokal #bealocal #localfood #kedaicafeetory #denpasar #wewentweshare #eatandsleepinbali #balieatplaces (at Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia) https://www.instagram.com/p/BnNjuaSArre/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=hmyar259s22m

Today we saw our fifth wonder of the modern World and it didn’t disappoint. It is hard not to be awestruck by this huge amazing statue. Christ the redeemer is 38 metres tall including the base which it stands on. We were pleased that the visibility was good to get some clear pics after our rainy and foggy trip to Machu Picchu last month. #christtheredeemer #riodejaneiro #rio #southamerica #Brazil #wonderoftheworld #wonderofthemodernworld #statue #amazing #amazingdestinations #postcardplaces #bucketlist #travelblogger #travel #blogger #bealocal #tourism #travelcouple #rtw2018 #waunderlust ##photography #candid — view on Instagram http://bit.ly/2Vf0vZ2

Day 3: Dancing Catamaran Today was a day for us to relax and take the opportunity to interact with more locals. Prior to traveling, we booked a sightseeing, dancing and snorkeling catamaran deal on Viator.com, a great resource to book excursions in many popular destinations. For $70 USD (the most expensive thing we've done in Mexico) we were given breakfast and lunch, guided snorkeling (for beginners and slow swimmers like myself🙋🏾), swimming, along with a tour and transport to Isla Mujeres from Cancun for two hours and back. We taxied from our accommodations to Embarcadero Playa Linda on the hotel zone for 150 pesos ($8.33 USD). When we arrived, there were representatives outside that greeted us just as we stepped out of the vehicle and walked us through the check in process smoothly, describing the itinerary of the trip thoroughly. We were required to pay $10 USD port fee which is standard for water excursions. Also in close proximity to this port is the sky needle of Cancun called, Torre Escenica. This provides a beautiful view of the city of Cancun and accommodates large parties. Upon embarking on the boat we were greeted with pastries, fruit and breakfast of sorts, drinks and the sweet sound of music. The first selection was Colin Lucas' Dollar Wine, which set the tone for the duration of the tour. The staff had awesome energy, were very hospitable and patient. After breakfast, we had the opportunity to snorkel. Snorkeling was very organized and safe where guides had tall flags for beginners like myself to follow and also life savers for those that became fatigued. They came in handy and would help you while also allowing you to still be autonomous and get the most from your experience. I got the opportunity to try out this waterproof case that I received for my iPhone to take under water photos. Thorough review on that product to follow this post, but good news, my phone has no water damage and we got a few nice shots! After snorkeling, we returned to the boat to dry, relax and enjoy the music. Then we had a beautiful lunch made up of chips, guacamole, ceviche, fajitas, chicken, and vegetables. They were very generous in allowing several helpings. When we arrived to Isla Mujeres, we decided that we wanted to stay on Isla Mujeres for longer than two hours. We communicated this to our trip leader and that we would find transport off the island ourselves and we were given the go ahead. We fell in love with Isla Mujeres so much the day before that we had to experience it again. This time the beaches. We spent the bulk of our day on Playa Norte. We rented a canopy bed for four hours for 250 pesos ($13.89 USD), which served us well in comfort and relaxation. As night began to fall we took the Ultramar (mentioned in an earlier post) back to Cancun and taxied to our accommodations. Coco♕
