Denpasar, Bali Indonesia — June 2024. That’s a wrap for Bali as we spent our last day traveling down from the north coast to Denpasar. It’s busy down in Kuta, Canggu and Seminyak where the streets are lined with tourist focused shopping, dining and drinking options. Only occasionally did you feel like you caught a glimpse of the authentic Bali with pigs packed in trucks and roadside stands. After driving through and checking out Beachwalk Mall we were so glad we completely avoided this section of Bali on this trip. With an early morning flight out, we booked the airport Novotel hotel which made life easy. They let you take the luggage cart right to your room so you’re ready to roll to your gate in the morning.

Wandering in Bali

Last Saturday, I landed in Bali for the third time. This time I was wandering in Canggu, Tabanan, and Kuta area. So, Canggu and Tabanan is truly new place for me discover, coz I have no guidance other than g-maps.

After landed in Ngurah Rai International Airport, i took go-car to the place where I rented a car, coz as far as my research on how to get to Tabanan, there's no public bus AND the online car (go/gra b car), it cost too high for me the solo traveller :"))) So it's better to rent a car, it cost 300k for a day. The car is squeaky clean and it is younger than my car tho, so it is very comfortable to drive on. Shout out for my friends who helped me to find this rent car.

Long short story, I succeeded driving through the hectic Raya Canggu Rd and By Pass Tanah Lot :') and arrived safe and sound on my first accommodation, right in front of the parking lot of Nuanu, where my marathon took place. It is EHOA Boutique Hotel Bali. I love the room, bathroom, pool, service, and everything, thank you for the warm hospitality <3

After the marathon, I rushed to get ready and tidy up the thing and check out from EHOA on 11 o'clock. Then, I need to travel down the same road to Kuta for my next accommodation, fave hotel Kartika Plaza, the very best transit hotel because it is affordable and near to the airport, only took 8 mins.

On Sunday morning, the road is not as busy as on Saturday afternoon, so I arrived in near Denpasar way before 2 pm to check in at the hotel, so I was thinking to had a lunch at living world, THEN I changed my mind, because it is hell of TRAFFIC around there, I gave up, so I right away drove to Kuta hahaha. I am still not getting used to the traffic again, because in Mataram rarely have tight traffic like in Denpasar :))))

After checked in at the fave hotel, I drove the car back to the rental place for returning the car. Then, I took go-ride to Beachwalk mall in Kuta, that's the nearest mall from the hotel. I was having Genki sushi (for the first time, LOL). At Genki, I was like the bucolic person in the room hohoho, I asked how the train works (which is use for delivering the dish). I am not ashamed for that hehehe

Anyway, then after having my very late lunch, I looked on g-maps for the distance of my current location with the hotel, it showed only 2km, so I am down for the walk hahaha. Because of the walk, I finally discover what Kuta beach looked like. It is very wonderful and you can see planes taking off and landing vividly. It was a blast

When I arrived in my room, I was drench with sweat HAHA, it was windy yet hot and my body is very sweaty by a little exercise tho.

That is it for my story wandering in Bali I'll definitely going back to Bali and discovering another beach which I haven't been to.

jumat siang, setelah check out dari manah santi, kita ke kuta, nginep di ixora.. dianter sama bapak maxim yg kemarin hehe..

sambil nunggu kamar, kita cari makan dulu.. mbaknya rekomen jalan ke lippo mall deket hotel tapi ternyata zonk, ga ada apa2nya masih pada tutup 😤😤😤, akhirnya jalan lagi ke discovery mall yg juga ga jauh dari hotel.. sebenernya mall nya bisa langsung ke pantai, tapi karena pas kesana siang jadi masih panas banget, dan laper jadi fokusnya nyari makan ga pengen maen wkwkwk.. abis makan di burger king kita balik hotel, mandi, istirahat..

sore motor pinjeman udah dateng, siap2 buat nyari makan malem.. rencana awal pengen nyoba makan seafood di pasar kedonganan, yg terkenal namanya warung apa gitu, tapi waktu aku cek di google banyak yg kecewa makan disitu karena pelayanannya yg ngeselin. awalnya aku pikir biasalah, gapapa coba aja. eh pas nyampe sana beneran dong, dibilang udah mau tutup.. padahal posisi masih banyak yg antri dan pasarnya juga masih rame banget.. duh nyesel banget.. akhir pindah lah ke pasar nakula di warung bakar jimbaran.. untungnya ga mengecewakan, rasanya enaaakkkk, yg punya baik, dan muraaaaahhhhhhhhh.. beli ikan bakar 1, kerang 10, kangkung, nasi 2, es 2 cuma 125an... kerang bakarnya enak bangeeeettttttttttttttt..

abis makan mau muter2, ke beach walk, tapi ditengah jalan baru inget kalo harus minum obat sedangkan obatnya ketinggalan di hotel.. akhirnya balik hotel dulu lah buat ambil obat baru ke beach walk lagi buat jalan2 bentar.. beli gelato di candyllisious.. permen sama coklatnya mahaaaal 😑..

sabtu pagi kita sarapan di hotel. lagi2 ga dapet buffe.. yasudahlah dimaklumi.. eh tapi diaz sempet berenang dulu.. abis sarapan kita jalan ke GWK.. panas pol sodara2 hahahaha dan kaki gempor.. ditambah rasa2nya kok kayak mau dapet.. aduuuhhhhh.. berharap sih engga ya, tapi ya gitu rasanya, was was 😫😣

ohya, sebelum ke patung wisnu sama garuda kita sempet lihat pertunjukan tari.. baru ini aku lihat tari bali dg jelas.. hebat, bisa gitu narinya sampe mata pun ikut dimainin, apalagi mas2 yg cowok, salut !!!! 👏👏👏👏

dari GWK, cus lanjut ke pantai melasti dengan kondisi laper perut keroncongan.. sepanjang jalan nyari makan ga nemu. akhirnya terpaksa makan di warung pinggir pantai.. pesen bakso sama batagor, es kelapa muda, es teh, abis sekitar 80rb, ya mayan lah.. kita nongrong di warung itu sampe agak sore, nunggu ga terlalu panas.. mau main ke pantai tapi kok rame banget, males turun.. liat aja dari atas.. ngeliatin pantai yg lagi pasang.. sampe magrib lanjut yg ditunggu2, tari kecak!!!!!!!

pengalaman pertama liat tari kecak 😻😻, bagusssssssss.. baru tau ternyata ada ceritanya hehehe..

selesai nonton kecak sekitar jam stengah 8an, langsung menuju hotel.. eh tapi mampir dulu makan seafood di nakula lagii.. karena masih penasaran sama udang bakarnya sih hehe, kita pesen cumi juga.. eh ternyata masih jauh lebih enak kerang sm ikannya.. lebih murah juga.. jadi fox kalo besok kesana lagi pesennya kerang sm ikan aja.. cuminya alot menurutku, udangnya agak susah makannya karna harus nyabut daging dari kulitnya.. enak kerang sm ikan, effortless banget makannya wkwkwkwk..

dan sampelah di hari minggu, hari terakhir 😣😣😣😣😣😣.. abis sarapan, beres2, trus check out.. tapi barang2 kita titipin di hotel karna pesawat masih ntar malem, jd kita muter2 dulu deh cari oleh2..

pertama ke keranjang, beli daster buat mama sm dian sama kacang bali.. abis itu makan siang di bu andika kesukaan akuuuuhhh!.. abis makan itu masih sore, bingung mau kemana, akhirnya ke beachwalk lagi deh nongkrong.. panas bangeeettttt ya kl siang 😂😂.. beli cakue galaxy, enaaakkk..

udah mau jam 6 kita balik hotel. diaz punya ide buat ke bandaranya naik motor sewaan aja, nanti motornya ditinggal di bandara, daripada keluar uang lagi buat gocar pikirnya, yaudalah.. tapi ternyata tak semudah yg dibayangkan gaes hahahaha.. pertama, koperku terlalu penuh gabisa ditaruh depan jadi harus bongkar dulu kurangi isinya baru bisa masuk deh tuh koper.. kedua, dari parkiran motor ngurah rai ke keberangkatan itu jalannya jauuuuhhhhhh 😭😫 mana barang banyak, mo nangis..

tapi proses boarding lancar, ga delay walopun naek lion wkwk.. dan ini pertama kalinya, naek pesawat rute terjauh denpasar-cengkareng 😂.. biasanya aku cuma surabaya-denpasar ato surabaya-cengkareng hehe..

eh tapi jangan seneng dulu, ternyata tetep ada drama dong pas di bandara. nungguin koper keluar dari bagasi aja hampir 1jam.. ngeselin banget.. gitu petugasnya bilang udah biasa kalo lion kayak gituu. astaga ampe bapak2 tuh berantem marah2i petugasnya 😣😑🤦🏻‍♀️

udah malem banget, capek, ngantuk, badan lusuh, klop emang buat bikin badmood !

udah dapet nih kopernya, ternyata perjalanan masih panjang gaes hahaha.. masih harus jalan ke tempat beli tiket damri, trus nungguin bis nya dateng, pas udah dateng ga langsung berangkat malah keliling bandara buat ngangkutin penumpang. astagaaaaa aku udah ga kuat, tak tinggal tidur.. tau2nya pak sopir teriak "pancoran !!!!" sumpah aku kaget, bingung, lah bibi juga tidur ternyata, untung masih bisa turun.. dan ternyata kita diturunin di bawah flyover pancoran.. ya allah itu tengah malem dg barang sebanyak itu 😭, nyari gocar ga dapet2.. untungnya ada sopir bluebird yg nyamperin dan mau nganter kita pake argo. alhamdulillah.. pancoran ke kos 20rban..

akhirnya nyampe kos lagi deh, buru2 mandi trus tidur..

Dalam sambutan tertulisnya Bupati Badung, I Nyoman Giri Prasta, mengatakan Pemerintah dan masyarakat Kabupaten Badung sangat menyambut baik penyelenggaraan Pameran Badung UMKM Week 2022 karena melalui pameran ini diharapkan akan lebih mengenalkan potensi produk-produk UMKM di Kabupaten Badung terutamanya produk unggulan yang memiliki kualitas baik dan memenuhi standar sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar global pada umumnya. “Kami sampaikan banyak terimakasih dan apresiasi mendalam atas senergi dari Bank BPD Bali dan segenap pihak terkait sehingga pameran Badung UMKM Week 2022 ini dapat terelenggara dengan baik dan besar harapan kami melalui pameran ini dapat menjadi ajang promosi untuk lebih mengenalkan Produk UMKM Kabupaten Badung baik di tingkat Nasional maupun Internasional. Dan kami yakin kualitas produk-produk yang dihasilkan UMKM Badung sangat baik, maka dari itu kepada Dinas Koperasi, UKM dan Perdagangan untuk terus mendampingi UMKM Badung dari hulu, tengah sampai hilir," ujar Kadiskop I Made Widiana. Sementara itu Ketua Panitia Penyelenggara yang diwakili Kabid UKM dan Perdagangan I Made Wirya Santosa, menyampaikan Acara pembukaan pameran Badung Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) Week 2022 merupakan kolaborasi atau kerjasama antara Pemerintah Kabupaten Badung melalui Dinas Koperasi, UKM dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Badung dengan Bank BPD Bali dalam rangka memfasilitasi promosi dan pemasaran UMKM Kabupaten Badung. “Maksud dari diadakannya kegiatan pameran Badung UMKM Week 2022 ini yakni untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk UMKM lokal Badung, dan sekaligus mengembangkan pasar yang lebih luas serta untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan UMKM agar mampu melakukan analisa pasar sehingga dapat menghasilkan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar,” ucapnya. I was already in bed, feeling super upset yet I'm trying to compose myself back again when your text came in. My heart fell on the floor.

"Oh, why don't you ask me earlier?" I text back in split seconds.

"I'm afraid that it will be rude or what. Because I sense that you may tired. I'm sorry."

"I didn't want to bother you too, and I am too coward to tell you that I wish for the same. Oh my.." I giggled

" Aw, now I regret my decision."

"Damn. Aku menyesal. Took me an hour and half to get back home. I was sad, I thought something is wrong with me, hence why you told me I better go home."

"I do too. But nothing is wrong with you. Should I order a cab for you right now?"

I waited for you at the lobby. It's 12 am, you showed up and right away offer me your hand. The receptionist bowed down when we left to your room.

"So many people in here, and your colleague might see us."

"I don't care. Even better if they watch us."

For unknown reasons I felt embarrassed when your colleague waving at you on our way to your room.

"You tired? You running out of breath." the elevator door closed and now you stand very close to me. I can breath into your breath.

"Well, besides my heart beating so fast and my lung feels like it's going to explode, no, I am not tired." I look down and smile. Too afraid to look into your eyes as they petrified me since the first time you stare right into mine.

We walk for another 2 minutes, still holding hands. This hotel is indeed huge, you walk slowly next to me either because you understand I wear heels and tight skirt or it's just your composed self, I could not tell.

3065. Your room overlook the rooftop area of BeachWalk mall. But it's dark outside. I stoned in the hallway, while you turning all the lights on.

I walk obediently towards you. Into your embrace. I was way too nervous, to finally hug you. I remember we sit very close at the dinner with our hands just inch away from another and I was dying wanting to immediately leave my finger trace onto your chest. Now we are hugging, you shove your face into my neck and inhale such a deep breath. I am glad I wash my hair this morning and spray them with the best perfume I had.

Just like that, you placed your hands on my face. You kissed me deep with such longing. No, it's not lust because you didn't force your lips onto mine at all. You kissed me slow for a minute. And you let go to hug me once more.

Damn. Perhaps you want to strip me right away but your self control is amazing. I took turn by lifting your shirt, and you took mine. Something poking my thighs down there, when you try to unbutton my skirt. Your lips sealed in mine.

Laying down on the bed, you keep delaying putting it inside of me. We kissed for half an hour already and I can hardly wait.

"Are you okay?"

You let go of my lips. "I'm sorry, I think I'm way too tired. Let's give it a rest for a while, shall we?"

You lift up my head and placed your left arm under, you bring me closer to your chest and you began to slowly stroking my hair while hugging me.

"Did I make mistake somehow?" I plead guilty, tho I didn't think something is wrong with me.

"Ssshh. It's not you, it's me. It's okay."

I let go a long worried breath, you lift my chin and kissed me quick in the lips and a bit longer in the forehead.

"Let's sleep for a moment, shall we? I know you are sleepy already."

"I'm sorry." I still uttering my guilt in whisper.

"Shussshh." you continue to stroke on my hair, and the side of my arms with your left hand.

Right at that moment I know that I can't fight you any longer. I become a total submissive to you.

Hours passed by, you never let go of me. Every time I got woken up, you bring me even closer to you. I turn my back, and you still find a way to hug me. I snuggle right into your belly, it awake you and you still continue to stroke my hair until you drifts back to sleep. I droll on your chest, I roll around, you are still as composed as usual.

Not a single complaint from you. Nothing bothers you. Not even by my ugly makeup-smeared face. You just laugh when I told you not to touch my eyebrows because that's the only thing I won't wipe even when I'm asleep. The last of my pride.

You try not to cough the entire time we're sleeping. But I had nightmares two times with a little cries and jolts.

"You had scary dreams? Shhh it's okay. I'm here."

Why does it sounds similar to my ears? My mind started to wanders to the past time. He said the same words like yours to me whenever I had nightmares.

I felt your muscle loosen up and your hands gave a few spasms. Hmm, very similar indeed. Is this how most men fell asleep, I thought. But why does it have to be very alike between you and him?

Time moves very slow. Every time I look up to the window, it's still dark outside. I'm indulging such a precious moments sleeping in your embrace. You left me once to the toilet and you still come back to me and cuddle me the same way.

"Did your arms ever get tired from holding my head?"

"No. Are you feeling comfortable?"

I snuggle closer to you, "Yes, very much. I can't tell if this is a dream or not."

My alarms ringing at 6am. I went to turn it off and then you went to the bathroom. I just realized that the whole night, since I enter your room, none of us checked on our phone. I didn't know where my phone was until the alarm ringing. We took time to check on notifications privately while we both using the bathroom one after another. When I come back to the bed, you put your phone away and we snuggle for more.

You finally put yours in me and I enjoyed how much you express your satisfaction. Your grunt and the way you grab my hair and kiss my lips, will always be remarkable for me.

Tho it's was short morning sex but I managed to find another way to please you. It was a lovely start of the day. You brought me along to have breakfast together. You keep treating me amazingly. I can definitely go home by myself, yet you choose to leave your breakfast unfinished, hold my hand and sent me home with a goodbye kiss.

Yet I still can't figured how you feel about me. You showed me all the nicest gesture a gentlement can do and you left me speechless. You gave me an eye-opening experience, teach me a lesson or two in your composed ways. I realize that I am no match with your personality, the way you dress, the way you talk, the way you think.

You'll be away soon for a long time. I don't mind tho. I actually not expecting you will stay. I don't mind letting you go. I am happy enough for the night we got to spend together.
