Wandering in Bali

Last Saturday, I landed in Bali for the third time. This time I was wandering in Canggu, Tabanan, and Kuta area. So, Canggu and Tabanan is truly new place for me discover, coz I have no guidance other than g-maps.

After landed in Ngurah Rai International Airport, i took go-car to the place where I rented a car, coz as far as my research on how to get to Tabanan, there's no public bus AND the online car (go/gra b car), it cost too high for me the solo traveller :"))) So it's better to rent a car, it cost 300k for a day. The car is squeaky clean and it is younger than my car tho, so it is very comfortable to drive on. Shout out for my friends who helped me to find this rent car.

Long short story, I succeeded driving through the hectic Raya Canggu Rd and By Pass Tanah Lot :') and arrived safe and sound on my first accommodation, right in front of the parking lot of Nuanu, where my marathon took place. It is EHOA Boutique Hotel Bali. I love the room, bathroom, pool, service, and everything, thank you for the warm hospitality <3

After the marathon, I rushed to get ready and tidy up the thing and check out from EHOA on 11 o'clock. Then, I need to travel down the same road to Kuta for my next accommodation, fave hotel Kartika Plaza, the very best transit hotel because it is affordable and near to the airport, only took 8 mins.

On Sunday morning, the road is not as busy as on Saturday afternoon, so I arrived in near Denpasar way before 2 pm to check in at the hotel, so I was thinking to had a lunch at living world, THEN I changed my mind, because it is hell of TRAFFIC around there, I gave up, so I right away drove to Kuta hahaha. I am still not getting used to the traffic again, because in Mataram rarely have tight traffic like in Denpasar :))))

After checked in at the fave hotel, I drove the car back to the rental place for returning the car. Then, I took go-ride to Beachwalk mall in Kuta, that's the nearest mall from the hotel. I was having Genki sushi (for the first time, LOL). At Genki, I was like the bucolic person in the room hohoho, I asked how the train works (which is use for delivering the dish). I am not ashamed for that hehehe

Anyway, then after having my very late lunch, I looked on g-maps for the distance of my current location with the hotel, it showed only 2km, so I am down for the walk hahaha. Because of the walk, I finally discover what Kuta beach looked like. It is very wonderful and you can see planes taking off and landing vividly. It was a blast

When I arrived in my room, I was drench with sweat HAHA, it was windy yet hot and my body is very sweaty by a little exercise tho.

That is it for my story wandering in Bali I'll definitely going back to Bali and discovering another beach which I haven't been to.

LOP to DPS with Airbus A320

Last weekend, I took a flight from LOP to DPS for the second time, yep I went to Bali (again) for marathon <3

From my previous trip, I got the ATR 72 plane from LOP to DPS. It took 45 mins and we don't allowed to take baggage exceed than 7kg. So, on this trip I packed a bit too much clothes coz I am going to CGK from DPS, I was afraid that it wont fit the cabin. Later on, when boarding, the ground staff didn't ask me and seems don't mind with people bring so much cabin. It turned out, I was getting board on Airbus A320, no wonder the staff letting us to bring the cabin :))

From my pov as passenger, the flight with airbus from LOP to DPS it didn't take that long. However, the boarding time is much longer than by ATR, yea basically the passenger is much more to handle, so it took more time, i understand. At least, the turbulence is less if it's with airbus tho

It was nice flight, no wonder, I sleep from take off till landing haha

First time LOP to DPS

Last 2nd March, I went to Denpasar, Bali from Praya, Lombok. It was a blast. I went there to have my first 5k marathon on Pokemon Run event. In the other hand, it was my second time visiting Bali. Last time, I rode Fast Boat from Senggigi, Lombok to Padang Bai, Bali coz I thought that would be cheaper than by plane. However, since I was traveling alone, it ended up I paid as much as by plane for the boat and taxi to Nusa Dua（◞‿◟) very dissatisfied

Because of last trip, I am not even think a bit to ride fast boat anymore PLUS because my motion sickness is pretty bad, so I resisted

Anyway, for this trip, I booked the flight ticket 4 days before departure. THEN, on 1 day before, i got a call from the airline hotline, he offered me to reschedule the flight to 8 am in the morning on the same day because my flight maybe got delayed until the unknown time for the operational reason. I repeat, operational reason.

Oh Lord, so here’s the problem, I am choosing that flight, it was the last flight on the day because I need to settle things first till the afternoon. I cannot have the 8 am morning, I still have things to do, the mandatory one

Then, i replied, “I cant”. After that, I told my dad (he had hundreds time travelling by plane) and consulted to him about my another plan. I was planning to refund my previous ticket and gambling to take another flight from another airline but the time is very tight with my schedule. After long consideration, my dad agreed with the plan

On the day of departure, I AM UTTERLY GRATEFUL for having that plan with Allah’s permission, coz my schedule wrapped up on 11 am and I rushed out to the airport by car and got at airport by 1 pm and I still got plenty of time to pray and sit while waiting for boarding.

Btw, talking about refund, I got 72% of the purchased. It such a good deal for me 💪🏼

And Alhamdulillah, I arrived in Bali at 3 pm and got plenty of time to rushed (again) to the Living World Plaza to got my race pack there.

So that was my Flight story ✨

It was amazing and I really like the dynamic and I am proud of myself for calmly facing the crisis (??) or more like challenging situation (??) yea you named it
