Today I have a book review from Phoebe for

𝙄 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝘽𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙚, written by Bea Birdsong, illustrated by Nidhi Chanani.⁣

{I transcribed what Phoebe said, word for word 😁}⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁?

⁣It’s about…well, she’s gonna be fierce and brave to go to school and she’s like going on an adventure and she’s walking with the big kids and she’s going on a different path and she is reading lots of books and making new friends and she’s raising her hand to be first in Show and Tell. First, she puts on her amor, which is actually her clothes, and she’s doing it the adventure way by calling her clothes armor and she’s doing it the adventure way instead of saying backpack she says treasure chest. And well, she’s being really kind to people and that’s all I know. Oh I forgot! Another part about the story is she is finding light in the dark so she is like dancing in the rain.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?⁣

It’s a really hard decision but my favorite part of the book is when she pretends the big kids are giants and she stands on a bench to be taller like the big kids. That’s my favorite part of the book.⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?⁣

The illustrator did the girl and she made her have blackish brown hair and a rainbow dress and some blue sleeves and she did a really good job on this book. She did a super duper job. I like the colors, like red and orange and yellow and blue and purple and pink and violet. Also teal and turquoise and the colors are super unique and super good. I remembered when me and you were talking about what I would be when I grow up and I was thinking maybe I could be an illustrator or an author when I grow up. I just really like this book. It has really good pictures in it.⁣

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹? 𝗪𝗵𝘆?

⁣It makes me feel more brave and happy because she is being really brave and she is standing up to her fears so that’s what makes me feel happy and feel a little more braver. ⁣
