#asks#taylor!!#tobey's spiderman always has a special place in my heart bc i grew up with them & i LOVE spiderman 3#bc sandman & venom lmao#and tom's spiderman movies are just incredible#and he looks like he's in high school#andrew garfield to me looked too old to be in a high school#he didnt look super old but he didn't look like a high schooler and neither did emma stone#they're both vv talented and andrew definitely deserved better from sony but his spiderman movies are just not my faves ://#edit: ALSO we saw how peter parker becomes spiderman in tobey's spiderman yes i didn't mind that but we saw it again with andrew's and#i just didn't love that bc we KNOW how peter#becomes spidey#i didn't need to see it again#and im glad in tom's we don't have to see it again but we get references to it#so we know what happened but there wasn't a whole scene(s) dedicated to it

comic: lucifer 2016. gosh i just. adore it so much. i literally was looking through it again today and sobbing bc i missed a super important upsetting line someone says to mazikeen. god i’m so emotional
having only read like, 2 marvel comics. definitely loki agent of asgard is my fav of them. it’s fun!!!
outside of dc/vertigo or marvel? probably bone and calvin and hobbes. did you know the guy who wrote bone also made some fanart for sandman
tv show: honestly, doctor who. has been for a long time. it just totally changed my life. it always gives me something optimistic to hang on to, and it definitely helped my depression so, so much. i discovered it when i was having a tough time and it’s always been there for me since. this last season, i was like “huh i’m not too excited to watch maybe i’m over it” and then we started watching and i was like NEVERMIND EVERYONE SHUT UP AND WATCH
legends of tomorrow gave me incredible gay content tho so i’m absolutely heart eyes over it. bbc’s class too. constantine. stranger things
animated tv: futurama is a big comfort show for me as well, has been for like, over a decade. (that’s so weird to say...) avatar the last airbender is also wonderful
real life tv show: making this a separate category bc SHUSH i ADORE the mythbusters
(and planet earth)
book: hmmmmmm....tough one! i think it’s still good omens. that was another book that just...it really helped me, ykno?? it became a literal comfort object for a while.
other top favs: the stainless steel rat, artemis fowl series, mort, hitchhiker’s guide, martin gardner’s aha, arthur benjamin’s secrets of mental math SHUSH i’m a nerd ok
movie: absolute fav rn? thor: ragnarok. i’ve watched it so many times. it’s so much fun and idk, it just makes me so happy. but i’m also torn bc road to el dorado exists and it’s a fav for the exact same reasons
other top favs are the lego movie: batman, venom, into the spider verse, the princess bride, dogma, jurassic park, james bond and MIB movies, WALL-E, moana, wonder woman
