i get a lot of dw edits on my tik tok fyp these days and i keep seeing the ones that are like “lgbt characters in doctor who” and like everyone sort of collectively agrees that the doctor is genderfluid and pan but a lot of them forget the ace part?? like the other ones i feel are sort of up to interpretation on how you see them but the ace one is like.. non-negotiable . to me anyway

#its The most canon one i think #i wait to see if the editor included the ace flag and im always disappointed #almost always #there are some that use it #and i appreciate it when they do #bc like yes they are basically pan bc theyve shown interest in all sorts of people #(mostly young earth ladies but there have been others)#bc theyve really only actually been romantically involved with those earth ladies #and the master ig #(which is also up to interpretation but to me its canon 💀💀)#so i can agree with pan #and then genderfluid yes #bc they can be one or the other but tbh theyre kinda everything at once while simultaneously being none at all #so to me its more like. agender/nb #but tbf thirteen did say 'its fluid' so maybe thats more canon than i think #but nah the asexual part is like #confirmed by people involved in the show #maybe not specifically stated in canon #but theres multiple instances where actors/writers said it in interviews and stuff #so for people to just Not use that flag in those edits #really grinds my gears
