i rediscovered a song today by this providence which is such an obscure. find. like why did i ever know this song. but Anyway the song is like. abt this heartbroken guy who had the girl he’d been in love with tell him that he was, quote, “just a let down, another one of my mistakes. i never loved you anyway. i never did and i never will.”

WHICH. is like. i ever tell ya’ll about the only woman jax ever fell in love with. she was just like him in terms that she was awful and was only using him for his money at first and bc she was charmed by a man who would threaten to shoot other people for looking at her sideways,, and eventually it was a Fling for a while and he was so in it he was basically ready to decide that he’d settle down if she’d have him. and when he asked she’d implied she would so his dumbass wrote stupid vows and got brass rings bc he couldnt afford gold and when he came back to the casino in new reno she worked as a singer at to genuinely ask her to runaway to california with him, she’d fucking slipped town. he never saw her again and spent like 3 years going back and forth between being angry and hurt.
