As the movie finishes, the living room fills with silence while the credits continue to roll on screen. Glancing over to the clock on your bedside table, you’re met with harsh, red numbers reading 1:30am. You raise your arms to stretch and try to relieve your body of the stiffness from staying in one position for a few hours. A light pressure against your side reminds you that you’re not the only one who was watching the movie. You gently ruffle the brunette’s hair as she readjusts her position next to you, cuddling even further into your side. Smiling at the action, you quickly turn the TV off and move to go put the popcorn bowl in the sink to wash later. An arm wraps around your thigh, nearly making you trip when you stand up as you hear Wanda mumble, “Where are you going, dorogoy?” 

Humming, you begin to run your fingers through her hair, feeling her grip on you loosen as she begins to fall asleep again. You bend down to kiss the top of her head and whisper, “I’ll be right back, alright? I’m just heading to the kitchen to put our snacks away.” With those words, you slowly walk away from Wanda’s sleeping form on the couch. Upon returning, you notice that she somehow managed to wrap herself even more with the blanket, practically becoming a sleepy Scarlet Witch burrito.

You quickly snap a photo of her and carefully pick her up, praying that she doesn’t wake up. On the journey back to your shared bedroom, Wanda partially wakes up.

“Hm? Where are we going?”

“We’re going to bed because it’s definitely sleepy time for someone.”

“Whaaat, sleepy tiiime? Nahhhh.” Her words slightly slurring due to her half-asleep state.

“Uh huh, sure.” You press kiss to her forehead. “Just go back to sleep, love.”

“Okayyy, whatever you say Y/N. I’m only listening to you because you’re cute, you know.”

With a slight pout, Wanda closes her eyes and promptly goes back to sleep. Arriving at your bedroom door, you manage to open it up and gently place the witch onto the bed. You slowly unwrap her from the layers of blankets and tuck her into bed. As you fold the blankets and place them off to the side, you hear Wanda whine.

“Moya lyubov, I miss youuuu. It’s so cold without you, please come home. My arms are feeling lonely.”

You can’t help but smile at how cute and soft your girlfriend gets when she’s tired. Your heart absolutely melts at the sight of her tiredly making grabby hands in your general direction. Making your way over, you slide into bed and softly tell her, “I’m right here, Wans.” 

At your words, she moves closer to you and buries her head against your collarbone. You feel her arms wrap around your frame as your arms move to hold her against you. Rubbing circles into her back as you embrace her, Wanda finds herself falling asleep once more that night. Unable to get over how adorable she is, you whisper to her, “You know, you are very endearing when you are half-asleep and I love it so so much. Goodnight my love, sweet dreams.” You press one more kiss to the crown of her head and quickly fall asleep, your heart bursting with love for the brunette engulfed in blankets and your arms.

FINALLY WATCHED VENOM LET THERE BE CARNAGE THOUGHTS BELOW BECAUSE I HAVE MANY

I appreciate how Eddie and Vee are trying to work together/cohabitate and how it’s just not working and making Eddie look like he’s talking to himself and not really keeping it together after the life foundation.

Eddie bby :( the motorcycle scene on the way back from the restaurant hurt so badly

Also love that they brought up the fact that Eddie is a POI regarding the bodies and the explosion of the rocket. Also wish Mulligan had a photo of the lobster tank scene for the facial expression Eddie would have made and that alone. It’s a nice continuity piece and reminds us that these actions have consequences and grounds this fantastical story in reality

How tf does Frances know how to drive and fight? She was kept in like a 10x10 cell most of her life?

Fuck the death penalty. I still don’t think that anyone deserves the death penalty and as Eddie brought up to Venom, not everyone convicted of a crime is actually guilty. Regardless if they’re guilty or not though, we should not be allowed to decide if someone lives or dies. Do not come into my DMs or my notes clowning about this I’m not willing to debate it.

In comic canon Carnage is absolutely supposed to be stronger than Venom, but this was a bit ridiculous. I mean the hacking, the twister thing? That’s ridiculous even by my standards. Also: would have appreciated if Red had been coded as a woman and hated Frances not because she’s dangerous to them but because she was another woman in Cletus’s life. Its contrived and misogynistic, I know, but I would have liked more comic accuracy considering so much of the movie feels like a comic. 

The scene! With Eddie deciphering Cletus’s postcard! <33333 I wish they’d done more of that and done more with Eddie and Cletus being parallels of a shitty upbringing and generally Cletus seeing Eddie as a kindred spirit. That was visually so interesting and the fact that they never did that again makes me want to SCREAM. Am I being an English major and a storyteller about this? Yes. Do I think it’s a good idea, yes obviously why else would I put this out there?

Oh for fucks’s sake if you’re going to make jokes about Eddie being raised Catholic and having a shithead for a father give us more information about that. They had a crappy build up to that and that’s not something you can reasonably drop in the third fucking act during the final battle.

Excited about Mulligan and Toxin but I’m a bit confused because the eyes looked very different than Eddie’s or Cletus’s

The BEACH SCENE 

Overall, pacing was a little fast and there’s a few gaping plot holes but it was fun to watch and it was very gay so 7.5/10 on my scale

longer answer: yes and it is actually incredibly common in a lot of versions of fae lore for fae to steal/court a human lover in order to reproduce bc it is difficult for fae to reproduce with their own kind. something about humans being much more fertile but also the reason somewhat varies depending on the culture (Celtic, Scottish, Irish, etc.)

To the anon asking what the fae can do if they have your name, my answer is: it depends.

In old stories and lore, it gives them complete power over you. They could enchant or lure you to their world and cause you to leave your own without a second thought. They could influence your behavior, cause you to do things you wouldn't do, get you to agree to their every proposition, deal, or demand. Some stories depict them taking over a human's conscience entirely and turning them into a mindless slave.

No one is completely sure of the extent of their power. Which is why people take a lot of creative liberties when portraying the fae folk what exactly they can do with your name in stories and other media.
