- how does it feel to put out a book? Especially one that’s very personal to you (I mean all books are personal to the authors, but you know)

- do you have a favorite moment from the book? Like, a favorite scene or favorite piece of dialogue

- this one isn’t necessarily related to the book so you don’t have to answer it, but it feels tangentially related so I’ll put it here: which camp moonmirror character was the first to come out as queer to other campers? What would their experience have been like?

HELLO, THIS IS CLOUD - the episode is already up (it went up yesterday!! Actually!!) but I want to answer these questions so I’m going to snatch our tumblr to do that right now lol.

How does it feel to put out a book?

Surreal. After dreaming about it for so long, it feels magical. Especially since Riot and Viper are characters I’ve had since high school. Young me would be so proud.

Do you have a favorite scene/piece of dialogue from the book?

SPOILERS —> Every time Viper told Riot about the realities of assimilation. You can not and will not ever be palatable to a straight person, don’t build your life around the idea of doing so. “You’re a faggot, Riot. Get over it.”

Which Camp Moonmirror character was the first to come out as queer?

We have an episode planned for season three addressing this actually! I don’t want to spoil it - but the person they first came out to was very accepting, and it’s a wonderful full-circle moment that I’m excited for you to see :3

This moment in EP3, after Pat forces Pran to break his silent treatment by telling him he deleted the video of his friends bullying Wai at the bar. It's everything to me. It's a major, pivotal moment that changes the trajectory of their relationship. It happens entirely on Pat's face.

Pran, very seriously, tells Pat to stay away from him. The music is serious. His words are serious. His expression is serious. Pat's reaction is serious. Their relationship thus far is warming up, but it's still tenuous and volatile, as evidenced by this scene.

Then, as Pran walks away, we have Pat's subsequent face journey. His initial reaction seems to be: "Well shit, he really told me to get off his case, and he might have meant it." And in a matter of seconds, in a choice conveyed completely by his face, Pat decides: "No. I'm actually going to be in your life for the rest of it!" The music shifts to lighthearted. There's no reality in which they can stay away.

I swear, this face journey marks a change in his behavior toward Pran. Pran essentially telling him to fuck off did him in. It made things that were complex before suddenly very clear to Pat. All of the tension between them was instantly boiled down to its bare bones: He could either leave Pran alone, or not leave him alone.

We see how easy and obvious and, most importantly, how JOYFUL this decision was for him. He made it in about .5 seconds. No-brainer of all no-brainers. And now everything has changed. (Cue the devilish grin, cue Pat ignoring Pran and proceeding to tease him/help him in the library, cue the pre-feelings flirtation era, cue everything that makes Pran say to him in EP5: "You can't keep doing this to me.")

Blueberries RainbowWorld is a fantasy story which is about:

One day after school a girl named Mackenzie decides to walk a different way home from school and finds a strange box partially in the ground.

She decides to pick it up and check what’s inside, which is a collection of gyms that as soon as she touches them cause the ground beneath her to crumble, taking her into another world called the magic realm.

As she tries to find her way around things she makes a few friends who help her enter into a magic school.

where she is forced to participate in a game before an evil queen who wishes to take over the city she is currently in.

A few of Mackenzie's classmates get kidnapped which she decides to go after them and try and save them.

As time passes she ends up getting a team which will attract all kinds of danger all her way as she fights to survive in this new way of life the people she had decided to trust may not be who she thought they were.

And a prophecy scroll which might just ruin one of her new friends lives and as the secrets inside the scroll which the kingdom has kept from its people start coming closer and closer with time passing.

Will she find a way home,will she find a way to stop this prophecy from coming true,will she save everyone or will she fail and will everything fall into corruption?

Love the way we're shown that post-EP7 Pat is constantly sleeping over Pran's. The pictures over Pran's headboard, Pat and Pran's uniforms hanging up next to each other, Pran all cuddled up with Pat's Nong Nao, Pat getting up early to make Pran breakfast in bed. Something something domestic bliss something something I'm throwing myself out the fucking window

Also it is a KNOWN FACT that Pat cannot sleep unless he's cuddling something. Pran has an IRON GRIP on Nong Nao, Pat's usual cuddle object, in the above screencap. THEREFORE (points to a map covered in red string behind a hidden passage in my wall) Pran was most definitely cuddled up in Pat's arms all night.
