if anyone has any pkmn fangame recs i will gladly take into my hands to Try to play. i have considered reborn and rejuventation but i ran into some controversy so im slightly hesitant (i can change my mind though im just on the fence). i do see it has a fanbase though. for the record i enjoyed the hell out of pokemon unbound, played rad red, did Not like Gaia, and is anticipating Flux and PMDHalycon for updates. I also am playing bbr2 and explorers of spirit. so pls pls hand me some fun ones i enjoy story and even battle mechanics. Unbound had the best QOL improvements ive played and the RRdex was incredibly fun in figuring out competitive stuff.

Talking about hälsingegårdar made me feel a bit nostalgic for that Wealthy Norrland Farm Look

Nostalgic cause I once, as a musuem guide, sat as a dressed up as a 18th century farmer in a Ångermanland farm. It’s insides in the kitchen looked very similiar to the kitchen in the above pictured hälsingland farm.

Its outside did not, cause this is the Very Extra TM look of the suddenly very wealthy hälsingland farmers of the 18th-19th century, who built their farms to imitate the houses of the nobility (well that is. Their farmer take on the trends of the nobility).

But in the kitchen, it still look similiar to the ångermannland exemple. Cause, despite all those fancy trappings of hälsingland farms, the kitchen was the daily home of the farmers, so the kitchen could not be overly fancy.

If you look in the kitchen you will notice they have their bed in the kitchen. This is not because of lack of space (clearly…) But for warmth. The bed is also like “a box”. Once again to keep warm.

Things are a bit strewn about so visitors can see the 18th-19th century items in the pic, but basically. The entire life of a farming household, of perhaps about 10 people, would be fitted into that space during the cold months. And perhaps a small animal or two.
