Bodyguard – Britische Thriller-Serie der 1. Klasse Keine verdammte Minute vergeht und die Serie hat einen in seinem eisernen Griff. Unglaublich. Gnadenlos. So etwas habe ich noch nie gesehen. Subtil schaffen es die Autoren immer wieder Zweifel, an allem was man bisher über jeden der Charaktere geglaubt hat, zu schüren. Das ist auch, neben der Unvorhersehbarkeit der Handlung, der Grund, warum diese Serie es durchgehend geschafft hat mich in der Spannung zu halten. Neben den kleinen Einblicken darin wie Massenüberwachung funktioniert und scheitert, fühlt sich die Serie nicht überzogen bzw. unrealistisch an. Richard Madden und Keeley Hawes waren in ihren Rollen als Bodyguard und die zu schützende Home Secretary grandios. Diese Serie ist hervorragend geschrieben und mitreisend inszeniert. Unbedingt ansehen! Zwei oder drei kleine Handlungsdetails sind der einzige Grund, warum Bodyguard von mir "nur" 9/10 Punkte bekommt. I'm already at ep 3 of #NetflixMindHunter but still can't get over #BBCBodyguard. I mean Mindhunter looks promising but Bodyguard is more thrilling and tastefully made from its first 5mins to its finale. Definitely, a must watch series.
