I started watching Blackpool (because I'm still going through David Tennant's body of work, so to speak) - and in the first episodes DT's character is constantly licking something, including his own fingers. Is it intentional? :)

Me and my sister just watched Much Ado About Nothing and I searched it up on tumblr, because why not... And this came up and...

You made me realise that you're not going through this alone. I may have always adored David, of course, but in the last, I don't know, two, three years or so, I haven't watched his stuffs as many as before.

And I can only agree with you. I think I'll go and rewatch Broadchurch and Blackpool too, those are good. And maybe also Jessica Jones and Fright night. Oh and Takin' Over the Asylum! Besides Good Omens, of course.

I do not know how much time I'll have, now that school starts again, but God give me strength, I want to watch David Tennant playing characters that make me question gender all day long.

So it's 2023 and Good Omens 2 did what even Good Omens (2019) & Staged didn't manage: I'm back in my David Tennant phase. Hello 2006, has it been 17 years already?

Anyway, I'm sick at home and using the time to rewatch the first season of Broadchurch. And after that I'll probably watch the other two seasons I've never seen so far.

Also I haven't watched Blackpool in ages. David Tennant continually putting things in his mouth, yes please!

And then probably Much Ado About Nothing.

I love how the son coming out wasn't even the gayest part of Blackpool. David Tennant and David Morrissey singing These Boots Are Made for Walkin while they danced the tango and David getting on his knees was a lot gayer than anything else.

Would This David Tennant Character Respect Your Pronouns, And What Would They Do If Someone Else Messed Them Up?

The Doctor- Yes, they would. If someone misgenders you, they give the person a judgy look and pointedly and loudly use your preferred name and pronouns, leading by example

Crowley- Hell yes. He's a demon, but he's not evil. Anyone who deliberately misgenders you in front of him will have a suspiciously bad day afterwards.

Davina- Yep. She would hug you when you tell her your new pronouns, and politely correct anyone who gets it wrong. If they continue to mess up, she ignores them and charges them extra for their drinks

Scrooge- He respects them, but doesnt have time to correct anyone (even though he wants to) because he's always busy. He would check in on you later about it though to make sure you're okay

Peter Vincent- Probably. He'd mess up a few times and normally correct himself. And if someone misgendered you, he'd say "Oi! Pronouns!" And they'd shut up

Alec Hardy- Respects the fuck out of your pronouns. Never slips up, always interjects to correct people, directs you to good support services for trans people

Donald Peterson- maybe. He would avoid using any gendered words for you in class in that way that teachers of nonbinary students do. He would ignore misgendering from students except maybe giving you a sympathetic grimace.

Roderick Peterson- no. Doesn't believe in transgenderism. Doesn't care that people misgender you, and does it himself

Phileas Fogg- Sure. Tries his best. Doesn't normally correct people, but is very proud of himself when he gets it right

Peter Carlisle- sometimes. He gets it right half the time, and doesn't bother to step in when someone misgenders you

Staged!David- yep. Always immediately corrects himself, and makes people apologise if they slip up

Kilgrave- hes a manipulative arsehole, so no. If someone misgenders you, he tells you you're still your AGAB

If you disagree with any of these, then too bad I guess.
