The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip screen, might just actually be a big flop

The Verge was given a response by Samsung to the "screengate" issue and had this to say. Galaxy Z Flip features an Infinity Flex Display with Samsung's Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) to deliver a sleek, premium look and offer an immersive viewing experience," a spokesperson said by email. "Samsung's first-of-its-kind UTG technology is different from other Galaxy flagship devices. While the display does bend, it should be handled with care. Also, Galaxy Z Flip has a protective layer on top of the UTG similar to Galaxy Fold.Samsung via The Verge The way this reads, it's almost like Samsung is saying, don't worry, your only scratching the thin plastic coating above the glass if you can even call it glass. At $1,380, the galaxy is not a cheap phone, and for it to scratch, this easily is not giving it a good impression.
