The capsule opens with a soft beeping sound, your ears are strained by the change of compression in the atmosphere around you. You breathe in deeply through your nose as the thermal sheath leaves your body and you are able to sit up on your bed, slowly. A groan escapes you and you carefully remove the IV from your arm.
"Everything okay, honey?" You hear not far from where you are.
You raise your head, looking for its owner, and smile half-sideways as his blue gaze bores into you, glowing brightly.
"Good morning, Bauer." You greet him watching as he shakes his head, brushing his hair out in front of his eyes.
You met Bauer the same day you started your mission, you were divided into groups, with different qualities, skills and academics, you would all have a new purpose. Each pair would be sent to different bunkers that you yourselves had adapted, perfected and prepared for the next few years of your life ahead of you. The Earth had become an uninhabitable pit due to the selfishness of the human being, disabling its existence, but they had studied that it would be a passing thing, they did not know exactly when they would be able to step on Earth again, but that would be the goal of your mission, to keep the most important, most relevant and wise people in the world to be able to make things better in the next world.
Or so you were told.
At first meeting your partner was complicated, he seemed annoyed and angry with the world, later you would find out why, but even so, the first encounters were tense and uncomfortable. As time went on and you were the only beings you could communicate with, you both agreed to get along as best you could. After a couple of attempts, Bauer surprised you by being a funny man, with an acid and somewhat spicy humor, but pleasant and without making you feel uncomfortable, he was sincere and was not ashamed of what he thought, sometimes he woke up from the capsule annoyed, not wanting to talk, he just took his cigarette and went to work, as the minutes passed his mood was changing and while you were preparing the Sleepers, he suddenly spoke to you through your communicator, scaring you.
"Bauer I told you not to do that again!" You reproached him, hearing him laugh.
"And how funny would it be if I listened to you?" he would reply many times, some of them right behind you, seeing him that disgusting proud smile for having achieved his goal.
Your mission was to keep alive the people who would conquer the future when the world was habitable again, you had two hours to do it, you with your medical expertise made sure that all the Sleepers were still alive inside their capsules, Bauer kept the facility and the coexistence in perfect conditions so that everything would run its course. Little by little your friendship was forged and over time, it became something more.
You never talked about it, simply a mutual agreement, the facility and the Dormers came first, then with the minutes you had left, you would dedicate some time to each other. Sometimes Bauer would finish before you, he would come over and hug you spreading kisses down your neck making you lose track of what you were doing, other times it was you that wouldn't let him finish his task, kneeling in front of him, with your mouth full.
"Fuck, girl, this place is going to fall apart if I don't..." Sometimes he couldn't finish the sentence, cumming.
"Good morning." He greets you back by carefully getting up from the table to walk over to you and you kiss each other slowly. "I know it sounds corny as fuck, but I missed you." He whispers against your lips and a chuckle escapes you, shaking your head.
"You can be a lot of things, Bauer, but never cheesy..." You joke and see him look at you offended, but something catches your attention. "Wait, what?" you look over his shoulder and suddenly you're afraid.
The clock is at zero, neither forward, nor backward, the air is not charged, the lights are still on, the supply has not been cut off, everything is working, but the clock is not moving. You look at the air vents, something is coming through them, but they are certainly not connected to the common supply. You turn away from him to check that everything is okay, that there hasn't been a system failure, Bauer keeps looking at the diagnostics for you, the computer keeps pulling up new records.
"B-Bauer..." You call out to him with wide eyes.
"What, what's going on?" he walks over to you and then discovers what you're looking at. "Fuck..."
The toxicity levels of the air outside is in the green zone on the controller, it's not even close to half the clock, the level is surprisingly low, but that's not all, there's a soft beeping coming from somewhere and on the cameras you see the Sleepers, starting to incorporate into their tanks.
Oxygen regenerates outside, the world is safe again. The mission has come to an end.
"Oh shit." Grunts Bauer as you rush out to the lower facility to check that everyone is okay.
There is a new step, a new beginning, now everything is blank again, the manual has no more advancement than what you guys know, they never gave you anything else in case the future was closer than they had planned.
Bauer gets going, putting on his overalls, he helps you to check that all the people are well, that no one has any strange symptoms because they have been lying down for so long, asleep. Little by little everything is working, connecting, you explain to them what has happened, many of them already know, others seem confused, as if they had only been asleep for a couple of hours. You know that feeling, you have been living it all that time while protecting the facilities.
"I'll go out first." Your partner tells you, grabbing the special suit to go outside. "I'll check that everything is okay, that it wasn't a system failure." He explains and you look at him nervously.
"Bauer... it could be dangerous..."
"If we don't, we have to put all these people back to sleep, reboot the system..."
"I know, I know, but..."
"Hey..." His hands caress your cheeks. "It's going to be okay, trust me."
You nod your head and let him put his helmet on before walking out of the area leaving you there with all those people.
It's been two years after that, and you still feel goosebumps rise on your skin every time you open your eyes and the sun warms your face. The memory of the first time you left the bunker after so many years locked up, when you got out helped by Bauer, the Earth reduced to ashes, the almost deserted and inhospitable environment, a bluish and yellowish haze surrounded all your surroundings, but it was not toxic, it was not unpleasant, it did not damage your lungs or produce abrasive rashes on your skin, so it was true, everything seemed to return to normal little by little.
What surprised you most was to see the other facilities open up and join you.
Now there are about ten thousand of you passing the Earth again, a very poor number for all of you who were once, you had also lost in that period of time some of those illustrious people you had protected, some diseases had mutated becoming more aggressive and your immune systems were weakened to the time of hibernation, some had simply gone mad and could not stand the pressure of living this way. But it was not all bad, there were also births, some babies now growing strong and adapting their existence to the new world. The serums you used to sleep had a formula that blocked the menstrual period of the women, by no longer taking the serum, little by little they all recovered their cycles.
But yours not. At least not yet.
You and Bauer, your relationship is different now, you haven't grown apart, but there are so many things to do that your preferences are different. Or so you think. You know that your partner was married, that he had children, maybe he misses all that, maybe he wants or needs to start a family again, you wouldn't mind being that person with whom he could share his life forever, but now you are not the only one. Now there are more women out there.
You shuffle nervously in your seat, as a medical specialty, you help other renowned doctors to help your co-workers when they come with a problem, luckily things have calmed down a lot after the last year, but you always have to keep your guard up. You work in the bunker, it is the most sterilized area, you use them for important things, research, development and hospitalization, Bauer is part of the engineering team, they are in charge of expanding the city, fixing the less deteriorated buildings, giving them a second chance for all of you, there are exploration groups that keep traveling from one place to another looking for any survivor, water samples or any animal that does not represent a mortal threat for all of you. In two years you have come a long way, but there is still too much to do.
"That will be enough for today." You hear your companion beside you. "It's late, the night is cold these days, we should head home."
"Sure. See you tomorrow." You say goodbye, gathering your things.
You look at the clock, the one that used to count your hours of life, now it is back to tell you your working day, the days still have the same hours, curiously, in the calendar you measured the first day you all woke up as day 1 of the year Zero and since then you have been governed by the change of the seasons, the lunar and solar cycles, the tides, you try to make everything have a sense similar to before the world changed.
You put on your jacket properly, thankful that the clothing in the bunkers is prepared for extreme weather. As you return to the outside, you immediately recognize Bauer's ringing voice, he is waiting for you outside. Unconsciously your heart starts beating much faster as you quicken your pace to get outside to meet him. His work area is further away from your bunker, but when he's finished, he's gone to find you, it's those little details that always make you smile when you think of him, those little signs of affection, of bonding between you, as if you were still in the care period of the Sleeping Ones. Alone, you and him.
You stop as you reach outside, in front of you, Bauer is talking to a companion of yours, he smiles with his hands stuffed in the pockets of his work pants, she presses her work papers to her chest as she laughs and flirts, it looks like a scene from a teen movie, and you feel out of place. Your feet don't move, you just stand there, looking at them, not sure if you want to wait for them to finish talking or just step aside and leave without saying anything. But Bauer sees you, in one of those moments, when he smiles chewing his lip, his eyes search for you and then his attention to the other woman disappears completely to smile at you and raise his hand, waving at you. She stops talking too, following his gaze, discovering you, your stomach flips as you see the fear in her gaze, she knows she was doing something wrong, behind your back, she seems to want to tell him something else, but Bauer ignores her walking towards you. You have a few seconds ago put aside the worry of whether you are what Bauer needs, for the worry that his hand is bandaged.
"What happened to you?" You ask him worriedly.
"Hi to you too, did you have a good day?" he jokes giving you a kiss on the head.
"Hi, it's been a long day... How the hell did you do that to yourself?" you insist hearing him laugh.
"It's just a small cut, we're reusing the materials from some hibernation capsules and when separating the inner rings, I cut myself." He explains to you, shrugging, as if it's not important.
"Let me look at that." You ask, grabbing him by the wrist, walking back inside the bunker.
Bauer follows you without opening his mouth, with an amused smile, his eyes fixed on the back of your neck. He enjoys it when you take care of him, when you care, he loves to see how you smile when he comes to pick you up after work, how you welcome him home if his shift is at night and he comes home in the morning.
It's almost like coming home for real.
"Sit down." You ask him as you go to get some medical supplies.
He obeys by sitting at the table you used to use for eating, for checking diagnostics...for fucking. He grunts low at the thought of it, wherever he looks in that place, it all brings back memories of your times together, work was work, but fuck, Bauer loved the last twenty minutes on the clock, loved and hated them; on one hand it meant you had the time to yourselves, he's not proud, he knows that twenty minutes wasn't enough to show you what he could do with you, how he could make you feel, but he tried every time; on the other hand those twenty minutes meant that when the clock reached zero, you would go back to your capsules and go back to sleep for six more months, six months without seeing each other, at first he didn't care, but as time went by a strange feeling lodged in his stomach every time you lay down in your tanks and the hatches closed. What if they never opened again? What if you never saw each other again? What if it was all over and he hadn't told you everything he really felt?
"Show me your hand." Your voice, bringing him out of his thoughts, he lifts his head to see you sitting next to him and shows you his hand.
"Yes, ma'am." He smiles as you look sideways at him.
Carefully you undo the bandage little by little, unwrapping his hand, there is some blood on the cloth, but the wound doesn't seem very deep, a cut goes all the way across the palm of his hand, it still bleeds a little, but it doesn't worry you. You rest his hand in your lap opening new material to heal him and bandage him again.
"Thanks, I love having a nurse all to myself." He laughs and you snort in amusement.
"Idiot..."
"Maybe..." He leans towards you and kisses you slowly. "But I'm your idiot..."
You smile, but at the same time you are nervous, he kisses you again, you reciprocate his kiss by holding his hand when he touches your cheek, his hand on your thigh moves and you break the kiss slowly.
"Sometimes I miss being here, you know?" He confesses in a whisper causing you to look up at him. "Alone. You and me... with no one else knowing about us..." He continues to speak softly, his fingers playing with your hair.
"B-Bauer..."
"This place was ours, wasn't it? Maybe two hours every six months wasn't enough, but it was our home... don't you think?" He looks at you intently.
"D-don't say that... these people..." You try to be reasonable, he nods understanding you.
"I know, but sometimes I hate the way your boss looks at you." He confesses again, but this time he gets up, not giving you time to respond. "Let's go back, they'll be closing the doors soon and these days the night is getting cold."
You nod picking things up, leaving everything tidy again, Bauer takes your hand and the two of you leave the bunker. The walk home is silent, the sun is setting and the moon is beginning to appear, the glow creates an almost fantasy atmosphere, with all that dust in suspension acquiring new colors and lights. It is magical. Your body sticks a little closer to his, you feel a little cold in your hands and on the tips of your toes, it's something that always happens to you when you're nervous and the conversation with Bauer has left you a little upset, not in a bad way, you just feel that there are things you should keep talking about, but at the same time you're afraid of receiving an answer you don't want to hear.
"We're here." He tells you when you reach your house, you have rebuilt the least damaged part of an old New York City building turning it into a small house for yourselves, using still useful materials and things from the bunkers, for your small civilization it is enough. Bauer rests his hands on your shoulders and rubs your arms several times, intensely, a pleasant warmth comes over you and you laugh softly.
"Thank you."
"Are you better?" he asks you and you nod.
"Perfect, you're a perfect stove." You joke making him laugh too.
You separate, you go to the kitchen to prepare something to eat, at first you only had ration food, but the scouting parties kept finding animals and plants that were edible and didn't pose a threat to your system, adding them to your new diet. Electricity is still a difficult thing to control, you have managed to get some generators running, use elices from the wind fields to get power, but you still have a long way to go for that. You take out the jars of meat you have prepared, for better preservation, to add to the vegetables you are growing in your small fields. You feel Bauer settle in at the kitchen table to watch what you're doing.
"Do you know what Sarah was telling me earlier?" he says to you, breaking the small silence that has settled in the kitchen. Sarah is the partner he was talking to on the way out of the bunker. "Apparently her period is back."
You stop what you're doing, a shiver runs through you. You find it a little weird and awkward to walk up to someone and say, "Hey, my period's back." You know why it has, you saw it in her eyes when she saw you, she likes Bauer and would like to take advantage of her regained fertility with him.
"That's great, some women are worried about that."
"Yes, that's what she told me, she thought the serum had rendered her completely sterile." He shrugs. "I guess every woman will have her time..."
"We all have our times." You chuckle softly when you hear him snort.
"I'm happy for her, I imagine she was worried there would be some man she was interested in."
"Of course she is." You laugh in disbelief as you realize he doesn't know what you're talking about.
"Really? Who?" curiosity increases in his voice, he leans against the table as you turn around looking at him with raised eyebrows.
"Have you really not noticed or are you kidding me?" You ask him with mockery in your voice.
"Me? No, of course not, she didn't..."
"Bauer, I've seen her talking to you, the way she looks at you... it's obvious she likes you. A lot." You say turning back to dinner.
"She talks to everyone the same, I've never noticed any different treatment..."
"Maybe she doesn't have a definite type of taste in men, but she... she does want something with you."
"But I don't want anything with her." He assures you. "She's not my type."
You pause for a second, Bauer notices your hesitation, your doubt, he smiles because you're not looking at him, but he can sense that you've tensed, that there's something bothering you.
"Really?" you try to sound casual and it amuses the technician even more.
"Yes, I already have someone who fits my type of woman." He assures you, you tense up again, but you continue to prepare the food.
"I-I'm glad...now that there are so many of us...i-it's good to bond with others." You whisper, trying to believe what you're saying. "D-do I know her?"
"Her? Oh yes, of course..." He is amused by your attitude, you are jealous, annoyed, he can appreciate the trembling of your shoulders, of the stiffness of your whole being. He gets up from the table and walks towards you. "You know her very well... because it's you." His hands span your waist as you gasp at his touch and he pulls you away from the fire, resting your back against his chest.
"Bauer..."
"What's wrong? What's got you worried?" He speaks against your ear, very low.
"Nothing, it's just..." His hands caressing your waist make it hard for you to concentrate. "There are more women now... if you had interest in another..."
"Why do you think this is only one way?" He asks you and you tense up. "What if one day you find a guy you like better than me? Are you going to live being miserable just because you won't tell me?"
"N-no! That's not what I meant... I was thinking about you, because..." Your cheeks start to redden and your fingers twitch nervously on top of his hands. "I like being with you, Bauer, you're a great partner and we understand each other well, but... I don't know if I could ever give you a family if that's what you want..."
"We're back to the same thing." He sighs and rocks your body in his arms, very slowly. "That decision isn't mine alone to make either, we're not bringing a baby into the world just because I want to have one, do you understand me?" he shrugs and kisses the top of your head. "For now we have this, and I like what we have, I don't want to be with anyone else, suddenly one day the serum stops having an effect on your system? Well, we'll think about it when the time comes." He assures you and you are suddenly relieved at his words.
"I wouldn't mind having a family with you..." You confess feeling his embrace tighten. "B-besides it's not like we have a lot of birth control now either..." You try to joke and he shakes his head.
"Nope. And don't sell me that shit about oral sex or getting it out before I cum, I like your pussy too much, I'd never get it out in time." he comes clean and you laugh feeling your face burn.
"Why do you always have to spoil romantic moments?" You feel him laugh behind you, he turns you around to look at you and kisses you.
"Because you were getting so nervous, your hands are freezing." He says grabbing both of your hands, it's an immediate reaction, when you feel really nervous, your hands and feet freeze. "I had to warm up the atmosphere a bit." He smiles wiggling his eyebrows.
"Bauer, the food..." You try to sound responsible, but he shushes you with a longer kiss.
"I got what I feel like eating right here." He whispers kissing you again, then your cheek, moving down your jaw towards your neck, you sigh and tilt your head giving him better access.
"L-let me turn off..." You gasp closing your eyes for a moment before breaking your embrace and turning off the gas you're cooking with.
The gas canisters you have are a tremendously scarce commodity, used only for the bare essentials, you don't want to waste it for a quick fuck, not that, not the food. Bauer entangles you in his arms again, this time your kiss is more intense, wilder. He guides you over and sits you on the kitchen table, without separating your lips. His hands move everywhere, roaming over every nook and cranny of your body.
Your clothes quickly end up on the kitchen floor, the heat invades the room, your bodies are wrapped in a thin layer of sweat. Gasps, grunts, groans, moans and curses are heard echoing through the house, the wet sound of your bodies rubbing together is even obscene.
But you both want more.
That morning you woke up a little dizzy, with a dull head and a churning stomach, you have a strange taste in your mouth, but you don't want to give it importance, the cold is coming and it is possible that your defenses are somewhat low, something that can be combated with some medication and rest, if in the course of the day you do not improve, you will talk to your colleagues.
However, when the leader of your group asks you to take some samples for testing, your world turns upside down. Your stomach compresses and your feet lose stability making you almost fall.
"Watch out!" They help you by grabbing your shoulders. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm just a little dizzy; my stomach is weird." You tell them trying to let go, but they guide you to one of the gurneys.
"Sit down, we're going to run some tests on you."
"I'm fine, I had a big dinner last night and it's getting cold, I might be a little lazy, I just need to rest..."
"Sounds good to me, but let's rule out everything we can, okay?"
"Okay..." You mumble even though you don't agree.
Your companions examine you, draw your blood for some tests and leave you lying on the gurney while they continue with their work, you feel frustrated because you are fine, you can continue working, it was just a dizzy spell.
"Do you want me to alert Bauer?" Hear Sarah suddenly at your side. "He's your partner, isn't he? Maybe he could have symptoms too."
"I said I'm fine..."
"Yeah, besides what you have, it's not contagious." Says another partner who looks excited. "You're pregnant."
If you weren't lying down, you're sure you would have fallen on your ass at the news. Pregnant? That's impossible, if you haven't even menstruated since you left the bunker. And you doubt very much that Bauer has a magic penis.
"There must be some mistake, I'm still on the serum, I haven't gotten my period back."
"Possibly your egg was fertilized before it detached from your uterus with your first period, according to this you're almost two months along." He looks at you curiously and you continue to be surprised. "Hence your dizziness, nausea and possibly increased appetite... am I wrong?"
"No..." You admit feeling a little embarrassed now.
"I'm going to alert Bauer." You are told by the same coworker who gave you the surprise.
"No, that's not necessary." You say quickly. "They had an important project today, I'm sure he's busy and..."
"Sector ABC 108, do you read me?" you hear your team leader speak over the radio.
"This is Sector ABC108, we read you." They answer on the other end.
"I'm asking for Bauer, is he available? I'm the team lead medic for Sector FGH231."
"Bauer here." You hear his canned voice on the other end of the radio. "Is everything all right, is something giving you trouble?"
"Not exactly, it's your partner, maybe you should come over, we need to talk." He tells him and there is a shrill beep. "Bauer?"
"He's run off, I guess he'll be there in a few minutes." Informs his partner.
"Great, sorry I stole him from you guys."
"No problem, we were just finishing up, I hope it's something good."
"Yes, yes it is." He cuts the transmission and looks at you, you sigh.
It wasn't necessary to tell if, you think, you know Bauer might have freaked out, put himself in the worst situation. On the other hand you're a little worried, you don't know how he's going to react when he finds out, you don't know what to expect, it's true that Bauer has made it clear to you that he would like to have a family with you, but maybe this is too hasty. It's not like you planned it either....
You hear his clumsy footsteps stumble against the front door, he curses through his teeth and you can't help but let out a chuckle. He appears through the door shaking the strands of hair stuck to his face, his eyes travel full speed around the room until he finds you sitting on the gurney, the grimace on his face turns into a confused and worried grimace.
"What's wrong?" He walks quickly over to you and holds your face in his hands. "Are you okay?" He touches your forehead as if to check that you don't have a fever.
"I'm fine, you shouldn't have come in such a hurry..."
"Why are you lying here? You've been so strange for a few days..."
"You've noticed it too..." You laugh softly and he's still confused. "I-I'm pregnant..." You tell him and you see his eyes widen.
"B-but..." He doesn't know how to say it without sounding wrong.
"You didn't give her time." Jokes the doctor in your group. "Do you want us to examine him? Let's check how he's doing?"
Your companions bring in the equipment to give you an ultrasound, Bauer still looks shocked, but you both hold your breath when you see the small lump on the screen.
You feel your eyes fill with tears, Bauer next to you squeezes your hand and kisses you on the cheek at the same time as your colleagues explain that the baby's development is fine, that everything is in order, now you are going to have to take things more calmly, but you are sure you won't be able to stop, you have never been good at being a calm person.
Bauer next to you kisses you again and his hand rests on your belly, caressing it, you look at each other and he rests his forehead against yours.
"I didn't know..."
"Hey, don't even think about apologizing or whatever it is you're doing right now." He stops you. "It's perfect, okay? It's ours, this is our family, and I wouldn't trade it for anything." He assures you and you smile kissing him again. "I love you..."
"I love you, Bauer..."

Ironstrange but make it from the movie 'Splash' (With Stephen as Tom Hank's character Allen Bauer and Tony as Madison?)
I am in love with my mermaid boy now.
Stephen stepped out to the deck of the yacht, closing his eyes and inhaling the fresh, crisp air of the sea.
Exhaling the breath, he stepped closer to the ledge, resting his hands over the metallic railing that looked out at an endless expanse of water under a night sky adorned with a thousand stars that glimmered like jewels, the soothing acoustic of waves crashing over each other and against their yacht being the only audible sound.
It was a breath of fresh air literally — compared to the bustling, crowded city of New York, where you’d spot a twinkling star or two only on the luckiest of nights, where the air always smelled stale and noise followed you wherever you went.
Stephen didn’t really do ‘vacations’, never had time for such indulgences, what with giving utmost priority to his career as a doctor. But Donna had wanted this, had wanted to escape their busy life at the city without being reminded of any of the ache and associations to their past. And so Stephen had rented this yacht and hired a crew for a week, just for the two of them.
As he closed his eyes and relaxed against the railing, feeling the cool air melt away all the tension from his shoulders, he thought that maybe it wasn’t too bad to take a vacation every once in a while.
There was a barely audible, yet distinct sound of a splash in the water, prompting Stephen to open his eyes and look down at the source.
He frowned when his eyes caught.. something shiny right below the surface of the dark water for a second, but it immediately disappeared into the depths, the darkness of night only hindering his sight further.
Stephen scanned his eyes over the waters, wondering if he could manage to spot whatever it was again. He knew that this place was a hotspot for dolphins, but dolphins never traveled alone, so it couldn’t be that. Unless it was a lonely dolphin, which might indicate that it was hurt or lost.
And then he spotted it again — further towards the back of the yacht, the very end of a fin flicked through the water, flirting with the surface but not quite revealing itself.
A shiny, golden fin.
He was sure that it was golden. It had to be.
But it didn’t make sense. No fishes or mammals of that size were supposed to have such a golden, shiny fin. At least as far as Stephen knew, and he knew a lot.
What he’d just seen.. it was unnatural.
Wanting to catch another glimpse of the thing, Stephen walked down the deck towards the back of the yacht, eyes vigilantly scanning through the waters, wanting to see that creature, wanting to know what it was.
It was hard. Mostly all he could see was the darkness of water, the crests of waves reflecting back the light sources from their yacht. He strained his eyes, trying to peer inside the water.
And — there it was, the shadow of a large creature under the water, just barely visible with the water already being so dark. It lingered there, never peeking even an inch out of the surface, and Stephen found himself drawn to it, wishing that it surfaced, wanting to see more, and his steps continued along the railing by themself, then down the stairs of the stern, moving right along the unprotected edge of the swimming platform as he chased after the thing, never lifting his eyes from it. And then—
When he finally realized how far he had walked off, one of his feet was no longer on the yacht’s platform.
He yelped in surprise as he tried to bring his footing back to the platform, overbalanced, and fell sideways into water.
An ice-cold spasm of pain shot up his side which had hit the water, the teeth-clattering cold sensation immediately spreading to his entire body as he got surrounded by water. Only practice prevented him from trying to breathe and hence accidentally filling up his lungs with water. You need to get out, a small rational part of his mind managed to command him while the rest of him still struggled to overcome the shock of being suddenly drenched in cold water at night.
But.. where is surface?
His heart fell to his stomach, suddenly feeling like all of his remaining oxygen had been sucked out as he frantically looked around and realized, all he saw was darkness.
No, don’t panic. This was fine, he would reorient his sense of gravity in just a second and then he’d find his way back up.
Except, the water moved in uncoordinated waves, crashing into him, pushing and pulling him in all directions.
He couldn’t tell which way was up.
Panic surged through him as he tried to determine which way he was supposed to go, feeling his heart quicken with each moment that he stayed under the surface, hyper aware of how it drained his oxygen just that much faster.
He couldn’t. He needed to breathe. Reflex forced his lungs to suck in a breath, coughing when all that entered his mouth was water.
No. No!
Basic survival instincts kicked in, causing him to flail his limbs as he tried to reach the surface, still having no idea which was the right way.
He needed to get out. He needed to get back to Donna. He couldn’t die, not here, not like this.
He needed to.. get out..
As he fought the pull of unconsciousness, the last thing he saw was the shadow of a vaguely human body, and a beautiful, long tail that shone red and gold.
When Stephen came to, the first thing he registered was an unfamiliar voice talking away in the background.
“..m sure he’ll be fine, I mean he’s breathing alright.”
Stephen blearily blinked his eyes open, realizing his back was lying on a bed of wet sand. He turned to his side and immediately coughed, throwing up some sea water.
“Yeah. Oh look, now he’s awake too.”
Stephen heaved a couple of breaths as his mind came back online. A shiver came over his entire body. It was very cold, and he was very wet. He frowned, recalling that he’d slipped off the yacht in the dumbest way possible.
‘World-renowned neurosurgeon slipped off his vacation yacht and drowned.’
Yeah, that would’ve been the most embarrassing way to die.
He craned his neck, looking up at the source of the voice to see who was his savior—
And immediately choked at the sight of a buck naked man, sitting there on the sand completely unabashed, Stephen’s phone at his ear as he talked to someone.
The man only raised an eyebrow at Stephen. “You good there?”
Stephen quickly looked away, eyes instead looking to the sea. “Y-yes, I’m fine.”
“Stephen?” The voice on the phone spoke, loud enough for Stephen to hear and perk up at the voice of his sister.
“Donna—” he sat up, turning towards the man again, before remembering, ah. He looked away again, feeling his face heat up despite the rush of cold air against his damp skin making him shiver.
His unnamed savior, thankfully, passed him the phone, which he took without turning back to the man.
“What the fuck, Stephen! Just what in the world were you doing!?”
Stephen winced. “I.. slipped.” The excuse sounded incredibly lame in his tongue.
But between that and saying I was so distracted by some imaginary sea creature that I didn’t see where I was walking, that was probably the less humiliating thing to say.
“You.. slipped.”
“Yes..”
There was silence and then a tired, exasperated sigh. “Christ, Stephen, I was terrified when we couldn’t find you in the water.”
Stephen felt a pang in his heart, imagining what she must have felt thinking that she was about to lose her last remaining family. “I’m sorry. I’m fine, sis.”
“You better stay that way. And don’t you dare move your ass from that island, we’re on our way.”
Stephen blinked, realizing for the first time that he was in some island. He twisted his neck to look around — carefully avoiding looking at the unnamed man who was still sitting near him wearing nothing, for some reason — and found that the island was small, perfect for private resorts and the like, but it was entirely abandoned with nothing but greenery visible in the tiny expanse.
“I’ll wait,” Stephen told her, turning his gaze back to the ocean in front of him.
They ended the call.
“Well, it was nice meeting you, stranger,” his unnamed savior spoke, and from the shuffling sound of skin and sand, Stephen could tell without looking that he had stood up.
He sighed. “Could you put on some clothes?”
The sound of sand shifting under feet echoed, and oh god no.
The mystery man came to deliberately stand in Stephen’s field of view, and Stephen closed his eyes with a stifled sigh. “What, you embarrassed of my naturism, Doc? I thought you guys saw naked humans all the time in your hospitals.”
Stephen looked away, opening his eyes to look out at the other dark horizon. There was no point arguing with a naked man, even less so when the said naked man had saved his life. Somehow.
“Do I at least get a name?” He instead asked the man.
He could practically hear the other man smirking. “Sure.. if you can work up the courage to look me in the eyes for longer than a second.”
Stephen suppressed a growl. It was just a bait, he shouldn’t fall for it.
“Fine then. Thank you, unnamed person who likes to walk naked in beaches, for saving my life.”
The man laughed then, a delighted, amused sound. Somehow, it sounded like a melody to Stephen’s ears, his voice simply so rich and lively, like it was made to spread joy. “You couldn’t have sounded more unthankful, dragging the words out of your throat like that, Doc.”
Too focused on the mystery man’s voice, Stephen didn’t realize when a decent-sized wave crashed into the beach, sweeping over half his body in the process. He grunted at the sensation of more water washing over his already hypothermic body.
“Ah, shit,” the man murmured, prompting Stephen to look his way and—
Stephen’s breath hitched, his heart coming to a halt for a second at the sight in front of him.
The man was down on the sand now; where his legs had been, now there existed a long, slick tail, gold scaled gleaming beautifully under the moonlight, interspersed with patterns of red and fins of indescribable elegance.
Stephen could only watch slack-jawed as the tail moved, its motion as smooth and natural as any other sea creature with fins.
For the first time, Stephen looked straight at the man’s — the creature’s — eyes, and found then to be a beautiful, warm brown, with such a depth that Stephen thought that he could be lost in them.
He was a creature of ethereal, otherworldly beauty.
“You..” Stephen whispered, finding his voice once again. “I saw you, at the deck.”
His eyes grew guarded at that, the warmth of the browns suddenly vanishing. He turned away from Stephen, towards the ocean, and flicked his tail, sending himself towards the retreating waves.
“No.. wait!” Stephen called out, but he gave no indication of hearing Stephen’s call.
Within a second, the brilliant shine of the gold scales disappeared into the depths of the water.
Stephen stood on the beach all alone, wide eyes fixated on the spot where he had seen the last shine of a golden fin.

Hi! I would like to add onto this as an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fan, where the Darkhold was used most prominently
It is true that the Darkhold corrupts the user, and rather quickly, might I say. It's not out of character for Wanda to be evil using the Darkhold, it's how it was executed that pissed a lot of people off
We didn't see any of that development. No trace of her character changing. She went from misunderstood hero wanting to do the right thing at the end of WandaVision to full blown-out villain in Multiverse of Madness. It would be different, if say, Wanda mostly helped Strange throughout the movie, keeping an air of normalcy, showing minor signs that she really was corrupted but no one picking up on it right before the end, where she kidnaps America and tries to steal her power or smth
(The one issue I can find with this is that it would pad out the movie a lot, but it can be fixed by doing a sequel or having some other Marvel project beforehand so the development doesn't feel as rushed)
Now for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. part. The Darkhold still fully corrupts, but one of the things it leaves alone is the mind. Lucy Bauer and AIDA, for instance, were plenty clever before the Darkhold and if anything, became much more so after acquiring it. How many people would put it is that it "opened their minds". It doesn't make you shortsighted, quite the opposite; it only makes the book the object of all your desires
So with that in mind, even with Wanda being corrupted, the Darkhold should not have made her, for lack of a better word, dumb. She should've recognized that she could make her kids using magic, or that stealing some other Wanda's children would only make a vicious cycle of violence. She could've convinced America to help her and harness her power. These are all very easy solutions that the Darkhold would not have gotten in the way of
It makes sense for Wanda to go all evil. Really, it does. But it should have been shown to us throughout the movie instead all in one go, and it should not have discounted her intelligence
“WaAaAa WaNdA wAs So OuT oF cHaRaCtEr In MuLtI vErSe Of MaDnEs” SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! It’s not only out right said in the movie but shown in Agatha All Along that the Darkhold messes with you. Alters your mental state. Plays with your greatest desires. Exaggerates the worst parts of your personality and makes you a dark inversion of your self. She was written perfectly in character it was the Darkhold that had her out of character

I have been thinking about this post for about a year now and I finally decided to go over what I’ve managed to learn about them in the last bit of time.
First things first! I have spoken to Matthew Broughton (the fella who made the movie) and he has told me that the two artists I’m about to tell y’all about are, in fact, the real Rosey and Bauer that his characters were based on.
Next- that IS a picture of Rosey! It is the ONLY picture of Rosey that I’ve ever seen. Even in the other biographies I have that he’s in, it’s that exact photograph. There is even a conspiracy that he’s not real! As if he was used as a pseudonym for the other surrealists!
Gui Rosey (if he existed at all) was born August 1896. He was born in Paris, and lived there his whole life! He was friends with Andre Breton and Man Ray. His work is mostly (as far as we’ve gotten in translating what we have) about time, sex, and aging. He also did a lot of collaborative work with some pretty popular names in Surrealism. (If you’re interested in getting copies of his work AbeBooks.com is an excellent source!)
He has a rather convoluted end. There are reports of him jumping off a bridge, or vanishing into thin air, after not being able to get a visa to escape Europe in WW2. But his living works were published in 1965, and his death has been listed as late as 1981. Otherwise, there isn’t really a lot of information on him.
He is listed on the sexuality surveys, but I don’t have the funding to buy the English transcripts/the French handwriting is insanely hard to read.
He also did portraits but I’ve only ever found one attributed to him, and it’s of Ibsen!
-
Victor Bauer was born in Vienna in September 1902. He was raised in Germany, and he lived there for most of his youth. He was in jail at the age of 16 after being too politically rowdy, and he was an anatomy professor at the age of 18. He won a trip to Greece for his anatomy artwork and he was a fan of traveling.
He traveled to France and joined the surrealist movement, but he moved back and forth a lot. His artwork consists of mostly still lifes, and portraits! It is stunning, in my opinion.
He was a staunch anti-fascist, and he fought in WW2 on the side of the allies in France. He was almost immediately caught and imprisoned in Italy where he was sentenced to death. He was freed after Mussolini died, and he made his way back to Nice France.
He married a woman named Bianca in the later part of his life. She is the only reason I have any information on this man (everyone say “Thank you, Bianca”).
Bauer eventually died in 1959 from a disease that I’m not sure of. He was a funny man who loved gardening and played the violin! From what I can tell, he was an amazing artist, an interesting person, and if the above quote is to be believed, a compulsive liar.
One last fun fact about him is that he hated exhibitions which is why his work is damn near impossible to find (that, and there was a guy named Victor Brauner in the movement also so that complicated things a bit lol). If you want to see his work hmu and I can dm you some scans of the book I have that Bianca put together.
These dudes have taken over so much of my life in the last year or so, and honestly, it’s been so much fun. I feel like everyone should get to have this information without having to scrounge around and buy loads of books like I have (unless they want to).
Here’s a link to a google drive that has one of Rosey’s books, one of Bauer’s letters translated (and in the original German too), and hopefully more soon since I have another of Rosey’s living works, La Guerre de 34 Ans from 1932, a surrealist reprint from 1965, and Victor Bauer’s Biography (where the pics of his stuff is from) left to scan in. The portrait from Rosey is from John’s Hopkins!
Happy research, and feel free to let me know if you find anything else about these fellas! :)

What other characters do you simp for based on Norman performance. Other than Daryl and Murphy (hubby material)
Actually, I haven't really seen our Norm in that much. Obviously, yeah, Boondock Saints is a classic and I honestly believe that the cat scene in the first movie is one of the best things in the history of cinema. Yeah, you know the one...
I still really need to see the second one too, 'cause I don't think I've watched that one yet.
Otherwise, I really loved him in Sky as Diego. I think it's the hat, goddamn 🖤
And, man, he is so freakin' hot as Bauer in Air. I mean... Peak Reedus for sure.
The only thing I've seen him in that I didn't like was Hero Wanted which I just thought was a crap movie, and I so wanted to love it because it had Norm in and also Kim Coates who I adore. But nah, it just wasn't for me.
I do actually have Hello Herman, Gossip and Triple 9 downloaded to watch at some point, so they're next on my list.

Chilled - Spencer Reid x Reader
WARNINGS: I mean, this is a cm fic so theres gonna be some gore involved, but nothing too insane. If you do get squeamish really easily though, this might not be the fic for you?
The air finally started to have a certain chill to it, one that no matter what you wore, you felt it in your bones. That paired with your day job left you feeling no warmth, not even if you were lit on fire yourself. And now, in the middle of January, you and the team have to travel to North Dakota, of all places, for a pretty touchy case. Since it was an above average winter, snowstorms were pelting the state at a quite alarming rate. This posed the perfect opportunity for the unsub they were hunting - as they would dump the bodies in huge snow drifts. The local authorities only started to find the bodies when snow started to develop an off putting color.
“Remember to bundle up my lovelies, you are going to be braving some serious sub zero tempetratures! I don’t want any of my favorite agents turning into popsicles.” Garcia says as she’s handing out the files to everyone at the round table. Peeling back the manilla folder, you almost wish you hadn’t. The discoloration on the snow was perfectly nauseating and what made your heart drop more was the shape that the corpses were in. There was clear evidence of asphyxiation and stab wounds on the body and, however, something didn’t feel perfectly right about the way that the person died. Not being able to put a finger on the thought, you slid the manilla folder into your bag and stood up like the rest of your team.
“C’mon, Y/N/N, better get going, yeah?” Derek asks, waiting for you to start walking. You nod and start walking out with everyone else, only for you all to get stopped by Erin Strauss. “Hello agents, before you leave, we wanted to leave you all with something.” Standing up on your toes to peer over the guys in front of you - seriously, did Hotch, Morgan, and Reid have to be so tall? - you get a look at what she and some of her own agents were holding. Pristine new FBI jackets with those classic faux fur lined hoods were folded in her hands along with what looked like windbreaker sweatpants. “So you don’t get cold.” Erin states plainly, passing the clothing out to the squad.
“Wow, these are great!” Emily said excitedly, threading her fingers through the faux fur.
“And to think I packed three different windbreakers,” you joke, taking your time to unzip the jacket and slide your arms through it. You sigh and as the material instantly makes you feel a lot cozier.
“Jackets like these were actually first invented somewhat recently in 1936,” Spencer starts.
“‘Recently’?” you quip, flashing Spencer a smile.
“They were invented by a man named Eddie Bauer who almost lost his life to hypothermia when he went on a mid-winter fishing trip.” Chuckling a little, Derek patted Spencer on the back and jogged quickly to the plane due to Virginia’s January chill.
“If you're cold now, Morgan, I don’t know how you’re gonna react when we step out of the plane in North Dakota!” JJ laughs, earning a nudge from Emily.
Finally, everyone piles onto the plane, taking up seats and instantly turning on the seat warmers. You settle gently in the window seat of the two-seater, and Spencer quickly joins you.
“Mind if I sit?” He asks, motioning to the seat to your left.
“Not at all,” you smile. Both you and Spencer considered the other as good friends, maybe even best friends. You started a mere two years after Spencer did. Since the two of you were around the same age - him a few years older - and were newer to the force, you found instant solace and comradery in the other. Over the years, you and Spencer became a lot closer. Whether it was caring and being there for him when he had his dilaudid scare or either of you sleeping over at the other’s houses when the nightmares became too much, you developed a strong relationship full of trust.
“All I’m saying is that if we get there and it looks like the frozen planet Hoth, I’m going to be pissed.” You joke as the plane starts its descent.
“Oh come on Y/N, pretty boy will wrap you up in his jacket to keep you warm.” Derek said, ruffling Spencer’s hair. A light blush graced both of your faces as you began to gather any strewn files.
“Let’s not tease, Morgan, Capisci?” Rossi says, giving you a gentle smile. Rossi was always nice to you. He provided a much needed parental figure at the BAU, giving you tough love or a gentle guiding hand when needed. Soon enough, the squad was able to leave the place and be driven over to the local police precinct. The details that the police chief had were dished out to the team and talked over multiple times. It was tough, to say the least. They had no leads, no suspects, and no new facts.
= 3 Days Later =
Energy for the team was at an all time low. The heating was starting to slowly die, new bodies kept showing up everyday, and you were still no where close to finishing this investigation.
“Let’s go over everything again.” Hotch begins, his statement being said for the third time within 2 hours. “The victims are buried beneath at least 2 feet of snow, it takes between 1 and 3 days for anybody to recognize anything’s up, and there are stab wounds and evidence of asphyxiation…” Hotch droned on which led you to faze out a bit. All you could think of were your cold body, your cold feet, and your cold ass fingers. That’s when you realized something.
“O-oh my God.” You say, standing straight up as you re-examine the pictures. All eyes in the room turn towards you, curious. You start to pace the room as you hold the crime scene photos in your hands. “I know that there are stab wounds and asphyxiation evidence, but neither of those are what killed them. The wounds are in non-fatal areas of the body and the asphyxiation wasn’t severe enough to fully kill them.” You say, your mind going miles a minute.
“So what are you saying killed them?” JJ asks, leaning forward.
“Hypothermia,” you breath out, “the stab wounds prevent the victim from getting anywhere too far and look at the frostbite on the hands,” you say pointing to the darkened limbs.
“It’s progressed far enough to make your hypothesis possible.” Spencer says, standing up as well.
“Okay, so where could the unsub be keeping his victims in a place remote enough to leave them out in the cold?” Rossi asks, looking between you and Hotch.
“Garcia?” Hotch simply says, listening into the speaker on the table.
“Already there captain, I’m sending you the locations now.” Penelope sends three different locations to the squad making everyone gather around the computer.
“Alright Prentiss and Morgan go to the first one, Reid and L/N to the second, and Rossi and I will take the third, let’s move!” He says quickly. Everyone gathers their things and you and Spencer share a look and nod. Each duo climbs into their own car equipped with cold weather tools and sped off to the different locations.
“Great find Y/N,” Spencer says, giving you a reassuring look. You flash a weary smile at him and step on the gas, speeding off to the location.
The place looks like it’s straight out of a horror movie. There’s an old raggedy windmill on the left of a shabby wooden cabin, bordered by huge fir trees.
“My God, this place is terrifying.” You murmur, pulling your gloves on and your gun out of your belt. Spencer is on your right as you start to slowly make you way towards the building. Out of the corner of your eye you spot a tiny little shack just south of the windmill. “Spence, you take the house and I’ll take the shack, okay?” you whisper, making sure that no one else but him could hear you. Spencer looks a little shocked at you.
“Y-Y/N, are you kidding? We need to stick together on this!” He says quietly, grabbing your hand. For some reason, neither of you are shocked at his action. You only squeeze his hand tighter.
“I’ll be fine Spence, I promise. We’ll get a cup of hot chocolate after this, okay?” You say, giving him a small grin. Spencer nods back giving you a smile as well.
“Yeah but you’ll just ruin yours with too much whipped cream and cinnamon. It totally defeats the purpose of the hot chocolate.” He quips back. You give him a quiet laugh and nod, squeezing his hand one last time before you head towards the shack. It was a ways away from the main house making your trek a little longer than Spencers, but you finally made it to the small wooden building. You drew in a breath as you began to see footprints with small bits of red in them. Your gloved hand reaches for your flashlight. You jump as you hear increasing steps behind you and turn around quickly, aiming your gun and squinting your eyes until you realize it was nothing but a deer passing by behind you.
Be cool, Y/N, you’re fine. You’re good.
You kick open the door to find the unsub about to attack a near naked girl, knife in hand and a wild look in his eyes.
“FBI stop what you’re doing right now, drop the knife!” You yell. The man turns around to face you, knife still in hand and charging towards you. You fire a quick shot to his leg making him stumble, kick away the knife from his hand, and cuff him. You finally turn your eyes onto the girl who was terrified. “It’s okay, you’re okay now,” You say, helping her stand. That’s when you notice the condition that she was in. Her lips were almost purple now, the rest of her skin turning blue. You shrug your jacket and long sleeve shirt off of you as fast as you could putting both of them on her. You stuff your gloves on her hands and shimmy out of your windbreaker pants, leaving you in nothing but athletic shorts and a tank top. Screw it, you could bear these sub zero temperatures in these clothes for a few minutes, this girl needed warmth. An instant chill settled into your bones making your teeth chatter in seconds. You shout for Spencer as you help the girl to the door and make the unsub stand up, dragging him in front of you. Your friend finally came into view, running at full speed towards you.
“Y/N, oh my god, are you okay?” He asks you. You nod as you let out a sigh, already knowing that your lips are starting to stray towards periwinkle. You could see the rest of the team running towards the shack. Derek took care of handling the unsub while Emily helped the girl back towards the vans, surely to help try and heat her up.
“I’m pissed,” you chatter out, causing Spencer to raise an eyebrow. You roll your eyes and start rubbing your hands along your bare forearms, trying to generate any kind of warmth. “This place looks exactly like Hoth, and Morgan is gonna end up being right because I would kind of love to have your jacket right now.” You chatter-laugh, one of the weirdest sounds to ever come out of your mouth. Quickly nodding, Spencer starts to shed his jacket off of you, but stops halfway. “Spencer what the hell are you doing, my fingers are all already numb, it’s gonna hurt like hell to warm them back up.”
“I actually have a more efficient idea, but we might want to go into the car first.” Giving no complaints, you and Spencer raced back to the backseat of a car, waiting for him to blast the heat. He does so, but it’s still not warming you up.
“Is this seriously what you had in mind? Because I’m still feeling like a popsicle and Garcia will be very made to hear that.” You say chuckling nervously.
“No, it’s this,” Spencer says, opening the front of his jacket. He brings you close to him and rezips the jacket, making you pressed right up against him. Not that you would go around talking to it about just anyone, but he was built underneath that cotton gray shirt.
“Sp-Spence what are you doing?” You whisper-yell quietly, your cheeks burning up.
“Skin to skin, it’s one of the quickest ways to get warm.” What was interesting was that you weren’t really opposed to being in this position with Spencer. Actually, you kind of really like it. You get to feel his heartbeat and snuggle your head under his chin, which makes Spencer flush this time.
“Spencer,” you whisper, causing him to glance down at you.
“Yeah?” He murmurs back. You feel his heartbeat quicken, affirming what you were hypothesizing.
“Can you hold me?” You ask. He had never heard your voice speak so softly and so… lovingly. He felt special being able to hear you like this, seeing you like this. He always loved the fact that the two of you were such great friends and were able to confide in eachother, but he wanted more now. He wanted to see you like this a little bit more. So, he did as you asked and wrapped his arms around your cold frame, dismissing the cold that transferred into his body from yours. After a few minutes you were starting to feel a lot better but made no effort to leave. Instead, you snuggled into him more and let your hands splay out against his chest. You heard him hum lightly, pressing you further closer to him.
“Y/N.” He whispers this time.
“Yeah?” You respond, looking at him. The two of you make eye-contact and make no effort to break it.
“Can our hot chocolate outing be considered a date?” He asks, his face now mere inches away from yours. You nod instantly and bring your face closer to his.
“Can I kiss you?” You ask, bringing one of your hands to cup his cheek. Spencer doesn’t even wait to nod, he just closes the gap in between you. The kiss was sweet and tender, like gingerbread cookies right out of the oven. Spencer now brings both of his hands to your cheeks and deepens the kiss, making you melt into him. Things were starting to get a little more intense, that is, until the door to the car opens causing snow to blow onto the seats.
“HEY! IT IS FREEZING OUTSIDE AND-” You cut your words off as you see Morgan, JJ, and Prentiss looking at you and Spencer, all with smirks on their faces. You see two faces turn a little more frustrated, digging into their pockets and fishing out twenty dollars each. Emily smirks and takes the bills from JJ and Morgan, earning groans from the two of them.
“Y’all seriously couldn’t pace things?” Stumped, you look at them with your mouth hanging open.
“You bet on us?” Spencer says, his voice raising in volume.” Chuckling, the three of them close the door to the car leaving just you and Spencer, flabbergasted.
“So how about that hot chocolate now?”

Humans are Space Orcs, “Fifteen Seconds.”
Warning: For graphic depictions of injury that are sort of gross
The senator's son lay on the cold hard floor of the brig. The tears had long since tried up and the abject terror of his situation had faded to a dull sense of panic. He lay on the ground, arms wrapped around his knees rocking back and forth as he stared at the wall.
He hadn’t meant for any of this to happen.
Maybe if he had just listened to his father, listened to his mother too and not taken the shuttle for a weekend gambling trip on the Tesraki home planet, maybe then he wouldn't be in this predicament. Maybe if he hadn’t gotten so drunk he would have seen them coming and been able to defend himself.
He squeezed his eyes shut, imagining all of his friends passed out back at the casino, probably unaware that he was missing.
He looked down at his pathetic body covered in a flashy white suit and blue undershirt that had originally been designed to mirror the twenties for his outing, now it was rumbled and torn at the bottom, and his jacket was missing. He felt silly and stupid.
He wanted to go back home to the family mansion where it was safe and where the house staff would bring him breakfast in bed. He would have done anything, even tell his father that he was right, and that he’d behave. hell , he would even be happy to go to military school like his father had threatened on so many occasions. Anything to be away from where he was right now.
There was a rattling outside his cell, and he looked up to see two of the pirates standing outside his cell, the first the dark furred tesraki and the second a light-skin redheaded human with a crooked grin and bad teeth. He curled up further into the corner with a whimper. The human laughed, and the Tesraki flicked it’s ears, “not so cocky now are we Master Bauer.” he curled up with his head in his his hands and stifled a sniffle.
The other human laughed. It was an ugly sound.
“We have just sent word to your father Ten million credits for the safe return of his poor son, and no involvement with law enforcement or we shoot you out of the airlock.” The Tesraki leaned against the bars, “personally i want the money, but.” he jerked a thumb back at the read headed human, “Terry here wants to shoot someone out the airlock, so you better hope daddy comes through, or you will be experiencing a horribly painful death.” “Actually, it is likely he would pass out after 15 seconds and asphyxiate.” the human added
The Tesraki glowered at him but continued on, “ANYWAY. We will leave you to your moping while we go wait for your father’s ransome. If he loves you enough he probably wont take too long. That is assuming that you were a good son and hes not GLAD that you got kidnapped by pirates.” The Tesraki looked at him thoughtfully, “Then again I am having my doubts. You are a little shit.”
Pier had to stifle a sob covering his mouth with his hand as the pirates laughed and turned away.
He begged his father silently to send the money, though doubts were beginning to weasel their way into his mind. He wasn’t a particularly good son. He had crashed multiple of his father’s vintage cars, stolen his new however car and wrecked that. He had brought police down on their family for drug charges, and forced them to pay thousands of dollars on court bills. He had lied and cheated and stolen He had maxed out seven credit cards, and his latest stunt had involved stealing his father’s shuttle to take his friends from private school out on a all expenses paid gambling trip to the Tesraki homeworld, where the age limit on both drinking and gambling was…. Well there was none.
He sobbed again, feeling his heart sink and knowing that his father would not come for him.
Why would he want him back after all the things that he had done.
Once upon a time it had all seemed like some big game, but now he could see that his past actions would be more than enough to guarantee his horrible and painful death.
Tears began to stream down his face again, and he was almost surprised to find that he had any left to give. No one was there, so he didn’t feel bad about his pathetic sobbing, and occasional whimpering for his mother. Maybe she could convince his father to come after him. Despite all the things he had done, he always had a good relationship with her. He admitted to himself now that he had used her love on multiple occasions to get him out of things he probably should have suffered as punishment, but despite that he knew their relationship was sound.
Please mother, please convince father to get me out of this.
He lay there in the darkness for who knew how long thinking about his parents and repeatedly begging them over and over to come save him. At first he expected the Tesraki to come in at any moment and release him into the waiting arms of his father’s security detail, but as the hours wore on, and the meals began to pile up by the door, his hope faded diminishing until he was dumb inside and knew that his father was not coming for him.
He had brought this on himself by being a horrible son, and he was going to suffer the consequences.
He fell asleep sometime during that night tears still wet on his face, only to wake up a few hours later to the sound of shouting and running footsteps. He sat up and tilted his head to the side listening as, in the distance, he heard the sound of gunfire, and the occasional body dropping to the floor.
He shifted and wobbled to his feet, walking over to the side of his cell and peering out with bleary eyes crusted with salt.
The screaming and yelling grew louder, but with one last loud BANG, everything seemed to go silent.
Then the voices started up again.
He leaned forward and thought that he heard the red haired pirate laughing in the distance.
He had no idea what was going on, but pressed himself further against the bars, trying to peer out into the hallway.
Things calmed down after that, and he was left alone again.
He was just beginning to doze off to sleep, when the door to his cell was violently thrown open, and the Tesraki came marching into the room a look of absolute rage on his face.
Pier scrambled back into the corner of the room eyes wide as Terry followed behind. The man had a bandage on his cheek, and a gauze patch over one eye. His usual crooked grin had been replaced by a snarl of annoyance and anger.
The Tesraki stopped just before Pier, his fuzzy little hands balled into fists, “You…. you little bastard.”
Pier raised his hands as if afraid he was going to be struck, “I...I didn’t do anything.”
The Tesraki ignored him, “Your father could not follow one SIMPLE order, and now I am going to have to make an example out of you. The money would have been nice, but now Terry is going to get to live out one of his childhood fantasies”
Terry’s grin appeared again, and Pier screamed as the man reached forward and hauled him violently to his feet by the back of his shirt. He kicked and screamed and cried as he was dragged from the cell and out down the hall.
“I told your father not to get the authorities involved. I told him that if he loved you, than he was going to have to send the mone and forget any of this ever happened, but NO the man had to go out and do something stupid, and now we are all oing to come out with less because of this. I am going to lose ten billion and he is going to lose his only son.”
Pier screamed and tried kickin at Terry’s legs, which finally annoyed the man enough that he slammed pier up against the wall, a single massive hand clutched tightly around his neck. Pier tried to scratch as the man’s hands but he was rammed back against the wall until he saw stars.
His legs went limp and he was dragged the rest of the way down the hall.
“There is no use in fighting my dear boy. You are going to die in a way that not many humans have had the privilege. I think it might be less than a hundred. Either way it isn’t going to be pretty. Assuming there is air in your lungs those will probably rupture first, so you will suffocate, and then all the gasses will boil out of your blood because of the reduction in pressure. Sort of like getting the beds but very quickly. You will die very very quickly.”
Pier felt another sob coming on.
“I imagine that it is one of the most terrifying ways to die, staring up tat the stars overhead and underneath, exposed to temperatures below 400 degrees. Granted heat leaks out of your body slower in the vacuum of space so it actually isn’t the cold that is going to kill you surprise surprise.”
The Sick Tesraki Bastard seemed to be enjoying this, which Pier didn’t understand. He had plenty of Tesraki friends who he enjoyed hanging out with and while they tended to be a little bit greedy and weren't above counting cards, they would never think about killing someone in cold blood.
They made their way around the next corner, and into the docking bay where the rest of the crew was standing, and he was surprised to find another unfamiliar face, another prisoner.
At least that is what he assumed considering the man was kneeling on the ground with weapons pointed at his head.
Pier was thrown down next to the man as the pirates conversed among themselves.
He took the time to turn his head and look over at the other prisoner. The man turned to look at him and somehow managed a roguish and nonchalant smile, his blind hair sticking up in spiky tufts where drying blood caked through it.
The man was dressed in a dark black undersuit designed to be worn with a space suit though the hood was down, and over his right eye he wore….. And eyepatch.
Pier’s eyes widened, and the corner of the man’s mouth twitched, “Ah, good to see you alive.”
“Y-your the guy from that movie.”
The man rolled his eyes, “yeah, I am the guy from that movie, but more importantly I am here to rescue you.’
Pier stared at him incredulously, and he felt his face go red with subtle anger, “Well you're doing a bang up job.” He snarled, “really, I am sure this is JUST how you planned it.”
Rather than looking offended or worried the man just shrugged, “No, no it actually went horribly wrong about two hours ago. Sort of one of those if it can go wrong it will go wrong things. Like it was a great plan and all but everything kind of went to shit all at once.” He glanced down to inspect his nails, “I was supposed to be able to get on the ship and sneak through to rescue you without any issues, but my suit malfunctioned and then my weapon malfunctioned and then the maps for this place were completely wrong, and etc etc. You know good times. Of course, I called in my crew for backup, but they probably won’t be here until it’s too late.”
Pier stared at him mortified, how was he so calm!
“Did my father send you?”
“Yes the Senator did send me.”
“And now we are both going to die because you fucked everything up?”
The man turned his head and frowned, “So negative. Are you like this all the time.”
“HOW CAN YOU NOT BE NEGATIVE WE ARE GOING TO DIE!”
The man just rolled his eyes, “Will you stop bitching for about five seconds. I am counting on the fact that I have used up all of my bad luck for today and all of my good luck is going to hit momentarily.”
Pier dropped his head into his hands. This IDIOT was going to get them killed. He was so mad at that moment that he couldn’t even cry about it.
“He should have just paid the ransom, not sent some asshole idiot to try and rescue me.” he moaned
Adam snorted, “You think your father has that much money.” He barked a laugh and pier stared at him.
“What are you talking about?”
The man shook his head, “Listen kid, your daddy isn’t exactly good with his money, a trait that you, evidently inherited. He’s about a month away from declaring bankruptcy because guess what, his son keeps racking up a literal shitload of debt, but apparently he pawned off his family jules at some point in there to keep you all going because he doesn’t have the courage to admit it and actually start living below his means.”
Pier stared open mouthed at him, “And he told you this”
“No, but I got suspicious when he didn’t do exactly what you said he should be doing, so I had my team of accountants, Tesraki by the way run the numbers on his net worth and gross income and all of hie expenses. Tesraki are rarely inaccurate when it comes to money.”
“So this is my fault.” He squeaked
The man rested a hand on his shoulder, “Not your fault kid. It's your parents fault for turning you into the manchild version of Veruca Salt.”
He was about to be offended, when their conversion was cut off by the Tesraki who moved forward grabbing the man by the air had tilting his chin back, “Admiral Vir, you know if the GA didn’t have a policy against paying ransom, I would toss the kid out of the airlock and use you instead, but unfortunately you are now both useless to me.”
The admiral didn’t look too concerned as he grinned at the Tesraki, “Yeah sucks to suck for you I guess.”
The Tesraki flattened its ears back against its head, “You seem rather chipper for someone who is going to die in the vacuum of space.”
Admiral Vir shrugged, “You know I’ve honestly had way worse days than this. It doesn’t even reach my top ten if I’m being honest. I would put it somewhere around eighteen or nineteen.”
The Tesraki smiled an evil smile, “Well why don’t we see if we can change that. Terry, throw them in the airlock.”
The big ginger moved forward and grabbed them both by the back of their shirts, hauling them to their feet. Pier screamed and kicked and begged and pleased, but Admiral Vir only put up a token amount of resistance, a sort of glassy smile on his face as he was led towards the airlock and shoved violently inside. The door slammed shut behind them and Pier threw himself at the door screaming and sobbing.
Admiral Vir stood and dusted himself off looking around the room with a half frown on his face.
He tilted his head suddenly and smiled, “Glad to see you guys could make it. Do you mind doing me a favor.”
Pier didn’t pay attention to the rest of the man’s instructions as he continued to scream.
After finishing what he was about to say, Admiral Vir glanced around at the room, and his face lit up with a huge smile as he proceeded to stretch his arms and legs as if he were about to run a 5k, “I have ALWAYS wanted to try this.” Pier was nearly shocked out of his state of panic as he turned to look at the Admiral, who walked over to the nearby wall and used his elbow to shatter the glass on a handheld fire extinguisher.
He pulled it out and looked it over, “You know, there really is no point of keeping a fire extinguisher in the airlock, all you have to do is open the doors and vent the fire into space, but I guess whoever McGyvered this piece of shit together had no idea what they were doing.” He glanced down at it, “I sure hope this thing works”
He pulled the pin just as lights began flashing overhead.
Pier sobbed.
Admiral Vir walked over to him, grabbing him around the arm and looking at him with one hard, green eye, “I need you to breathe out, son.”
“What! Why?”
“Just do it.”
“No you have to-”
He saw the look in the man’s eyes and guessed what was happening too late as he drew back a fist and underhand punched him in the gut so hard he nearly collapsed to the floor, all the wind completely knocked out of him in one loud woosh, and his diaphragm ceased to work.
He couldn't even squeak out his pain as the man grabbed him around his middle fire extinguisher in his left hand hoze in his right.
And then All sound was sucked from the world and he was violently thrown off his feat as they were sucked from the airlock and into the vacuum of space.
His ears ruptured into violent pain as his eardrums were torn apart.
Sheer unadulterated panic set in as stars whirled above him black and dark.
One
He heard nothing, he smelled nothing, he tasted nothing.
He couldn't breathe.
He wasn’t as cold as he thought he should be but death surrounded him on all sides, his body exposed to the direct touch of infinity.
Two
The only thing he could feel was the tight pressure of the Admiral’s Arm around his waist.
Three
He looked up, feeling no sensation against his kin, since there were no air particles for him to move through. Looking up At Admiral Vir’s face, lips pressed tightly together one green eye wide and manic.
Four
His body tingled and the surface of his eyes and tongue began to bubble slowly
They were jolted back again, and a trail of white vapor vented into space below their feet.
Five
His lungs screamed for air, the bubbling on his tongue and eyes increased in intensity.
Six
His skin Hurt.
Seven
He was sure he was going to pass out.
Eight
His entire body hurt.
Nine
Then the darkness passed over them, and his vision was obscured.
They slammed against something hard and then dropped to the floor as gravity engaged.
If he could have screamed he would have.
The light of the stars was blocked out, and though he couldn't hear it, he felt the burst of air across his skin as the airlock was pressurized.
He gasped.
And that’s when the pain hit him, Pure unreal agony. Fire across his entire body
He couldn't see, he couldn't hear.
***
Dr Krill rushed into the airlock with the entire team of medical staff behind him. The two bodies lay on the floor like bloated corpses, their skin mottled a horrible purple red.
There was no way they were alive.
He threw himself down next to Adam, nearly unrecognizable now, and was surprised to find his chest heaving up and down as he was still breathing. He reached up and pulled off the eyepatch as others rushed forward to cut away their clothing.
The mechanical green eye spun to look at him, undamaged by the vacuum of space.
Someone placed an IV while Krill worked eye drops into his real eye and more of the same solution onto his mouth, nose and tongue, so dry it was like sandpaper or worse.
One of the nurses had to leave the room as the mottled skin of the two bodies was too hard to stomach.
“Knock them out.” krill ordered.
Adam wheezed the rehydrating solution doing it’s work on his tongue and throat. Blood trickled from his mouth and nose as the water made its way inside.
“You STUPID stupid man.” Krill snarled at the body, as the mechanical eye rolled back into his head, “Stupid stupid stupid stupid human.”
Granted he knew Adam had had no other choice, but still… only humans could survive in the vacuum of space, but this was the price, the horrible, horrible price.
***
Full body bruising and a couple of stem cell treatments later and Adam was feeling pretty chipper for someone who looks like a cruised corpse. His skin was a light delicate shade or purple unevenly spotted in certain areas, and his eardrums were just beginning to heal with their advanced medicine, so he was like a deff old granny for the moment, but all the same he was doing pretty good.
Granted the same stunt pulled in the movie Titan AE had been way cooler, considering those two hadn’t suffered any of the side effects, but now he could say he survived the vacuum of space conscious and lived to tell the tale.
Which was pretty badass if he did say so himself.
Which, he did.
Smiling, his face hurting. He walked with young Pier down the walkway both of them stiff and soar, walking like the old grannies they were as deff as.
At the bottom of the ramp two very concerned looking parents rushed forward to greet their sun eyes widening in horror at the state of him, mottled purple skin and all.
Adam stopped a few feet away wishing he could go lay down.
The senator looked up at him, “What the hell did you do to my son! Adam shrugged, “Well I stopped us both from dying is what I did, though it wasn’t easy. On the bright side, your son is going to make a full recovery and have an awesome story to tell in the process.”
The senator looked like he was going to lose his damn mind, but the boy cut in, “Dad….” “Yes son, whatever you want, whatever you need?”
He paused, “A nap would be cool and….” He glazed back over his shoulder at Adam, “Maybe military school wasn’t such a bad idea after all.”
Adam grinned and the boys parents looked shocked but turned away as their shiny black car arrived.
He continued to smile as he watched them drive away and didn’t hear Sunny as she came up behind him and rested a hand on his shoulder, “Are you ok.”
He continued to smile, through through his teeth he said, “Once they leave can you carry me inside, my soul hurts.”
***
Humans can survive 15 seconds in the vacuum of space.
We aren’t jealous of this ability.

X Angel - Chapter 4
Elon Musk x Reader
{Authors Note} Sorry for taking so long! I’ll be updating more regularly now! You can also find this story on AO3 and Wattpad, the links are in my description. My asks are also always open for general Elon chat and requests. <3
Warnings: None yet!
“So what’s the verdict? We don’t got all day,” Jett pushed as he strode through the doors once more, irritated and impatient.
Elon backed away from me then as the other men walked in with a ferociousness in their stride, clearly champing at the bit to hear what their most valuable colleague had to say about the cash-robot.
“She truly has no recollection of anything, and not being aware of how her programming works can be dangerous, especially on Earth,” one man said to another, seemingly continuing a conversation from outside.
“However,” the other began even louder, loud enough for everyone to hear, to assure I could hear. “We’re willing to pay the price. Earth needs someone new for the public to idolize or they’ll waste away. Perhaps they’ll listen to the people who know what they’re talking about if someone like {Y/N} tells them what to do from their televisions. What did you find, Musk?” He finished, turning to Elon with interest.
But Elon only shook his head with conviction, confident in his findings.
“I’d like to investigate further before this purchase is made. Something isn’t adding up here, and I agree with the danger it could pose.”
“Nonsense,” the man replied brashly instead, suddenly not treating Elon as though he were their most valuable player in the room.
I wondered why they’d asked him for his opinion at all as the suited man took a holographic card from his own pocket then.
“Whatever the price, we’ll take her,” he demanded.
I could hear Elon breathe a disappointed laugh as he shook his head and turned away, sliding his hands into his suit jacket pockets, then. He very obviously deemed my purchase to be a terrible idea, though I know not for similar reasons I did. Still, the sentiment stung me more than I’d like to admit. He was my hero, after all.
But he was in no position to argue with them, as I wasn’t his pop star to claim. For another moment, I also wondered why they’d asked him to tag along altogether. If they weren’t going to hear him out, there was no reason for his presence. Even though I was sure he saw me more as a threat than beneficial, I was still glad I got to meet him, at least once in my lifetime.
Regardless of that, there was no denying it felt like the entire universe fell apart around me all at once, leaving me spiraling into the galaxy with no direction. I couldn’t go back to Earth— I wouldn’t go back to Earth. I would rather jump out of the window in front of me and disassemble my entire being, than go back there. But I had to stay quiet. I had to remain calm. My teeth ground together behind my lips as every inch of my body tensed up. They didn’t notice, but it was possible Elon had with each occasional glance he took back at me.
I kept my eyes right back on him this time, only averting them when he looked in my direction. When they gathered around the large table to sign the contract, which appeared in mid air at the press of a button on a phone by Jett, Elon stayed behind. He watched me intently as my {e/c} eyes burned holes into the man whose own eyes made steady and confident contact with the contract as it scanned his retinas. Within seconds, it disappeared, my life slipping from my own fingers as it was sent through cyberspace back to Astra. Crypto exchanged cards as Jett, and who I found out to be Mr. Bauer, held them against each other.
The purchase had been made.
It felt like an execution more than anything else.
I had a week to bid farewell to Planet X and all who inhabited it. Their label, something boring like Spinn Records, worked with Jett to plan a facade as to why I was leaving to feed to my adoring public. I was to follow it as per Astra’s orders. Once the official date on the contract arrived, I was to hop a flight with SpaceX and hurdle towards the one place I vowed I’d never return to, and take orders from Spinn instead. After that, I was no longer Astra’s responsibility. Silent rage and hurt and a plethora of other emotions came bubbling to the surface, but I kept them at bay, turning near catatonic as my eyes shifted focus to Elon once more.
Deep down, I was hoping he might be the fairytale hero I needed at the moment; might pick up on my silent distress and come up with a bulletproof excuse for me to stay on X, devoted to Astra. Mention anything from the danger I could pose to simply being uninteresting enough. But he didn’t say another word. He stared at me from time to time. And each time he did, I could see the cogs in his mind working away from my peripheral, as he valiantly attempted to unpiece the puzzle that was myself.
They didn’t even say goodbye to me when they left, and I didn’t dare look up at Elon, though I noticed his hesitation to depart. My emotions were on overdrive— I didn’t trust myself to make eye contact for fear I might break down on the spot.
The ride back to my penthouse was quiet on my end. It wasn’t unusual, as cybernetic stars were usually seen and not heard behind the scenes. I sat in the back of the Cybertruck as Jett prattled on to the head of Astra about the deal he’d just made for them from the passenger seat. I was drifting in and out, but caught something about how he wanted more than his usual ten percent. Who would be paying him now?
I smiled to myself for just a second as I looked around inside of the vehicle. They were rare on Earth, but one of the status cars on X. Everyone who was anyone had one despite Elon’s standing in the social world.
Self driving, stereo system like a major recording studio, and built like a tank. Despite the autopilot though, we preferred to drive the beast ourselves. I mean, who wouldn’t? But as I thought about the Cybertruck’s creator, and our brief encounter today, I couldn’t help but feel slighted. It wasn’t his responsibility to save me from such a disastrous deal, sure, but I could tell he wanted nothing to do with my appearance on Earth. They didn’t listen to him when he’d tried to speak up, but he didn’t try hard enough, either. Something told me he wanted them to realize their own mistake, but he didn’t know at what cost that was to me.
I shook myself out of the thought. How could he know, really? Why would he even care? Why did I care so much? His small act of slight compassion in the boardroom didn’t mean I was entitled to his entire arsenal of kind deeds. It was absolutely insane to think that. I questioned my own sentience before trying to push my thoughts away altogether. My emotions were jumbled, no one in particular feeling better or worse than another. It was to the point that the only thing I felt was nothing at all.
When I’d finally arrived home, there were no flashing cameras, no screaming fans or journalists and no security guards surrounding me from every direction I looked. I made my way through the lobby of the building and onto the teleportation pad, dying to finally have some privacy in my own space. The damn thing couldn’t work fast enough as I impatiently waited for it to read my code. Eventually, though it was really only mere seconds, I found myself in my penthouse.
Once I locked the door for no outsider entry, I immediately leaned back against it, the soft clang of metal ringing lightly through the space and tainting my view of my life, the sound bitter and empty as it fell on my ears. My line of sight was glued to an onyx black rug in front of me as I recounted the latter half of the day's events. It all replayed to me like a movie I was forced to watch, all of my hard work unraveling for a little currency that didn’t even mean anything just a few years ago. As invincible as I felt to Astra, after all I’d done for them to save their name countless times, to push their agendas when I didn’t necessarily agree with them, to keep them relevant, they felt as though I was disposable.
My label deemed me disposable and my hero considered me a threat.
Then it hit me.
All at once everything I’d been feeling hit me like a swirling hurricane, and I began to near hyperventilation as I let myself truly feel again. The wall I had to build up every day cracked and crumbled as a million different sensations escaped into the ethos from my small frame. A roaring war within my body swept me into a moment that felt tumultuous, everything suddenly chaotic, loud and heavy though it was just myself in an otherwise quiet room.
My chest rose and fell as it all came rushing back like a wave of water, tears forming in my eyes as sobs pushed their way through my throat. It was as though everything else I had ever been fell away, stripping me bare to nothing but my own resolve. My cold hands immediately reached for my head and I started to sink to the floor, the dramatism of the moment not at all underplayed or over exaggerated when compared to how I felt as I began to tear the beautifully detailed chrome pieces from my face— and then my chest— and then the rest of my body, tearing my clothing off along with them. I threw each piece across the large entryway, the sharp echo earsplitting as each one clattered and rolled through the space. The intricacy I’d hid behind for what felt like ages now, meaning nothing and everything all at once. My heart pounded in my chest, a familiar ache I’d not felt since I left earth reigniting my passion, my need to escape. Inside, I was dying to escape the hell I had to endure, pretending to be a body I wasn’t day in and day out just to stay alive.
The jet black mascara I still liked to put on despite no one seeing it dripped down my cheekbones in messy streaks. My soft, warm skin was exposed in the evening's hazy sunset that wasn’t quite like anywhere else in the two worlds I knew. The small tattoos, scars and beauty marks I’d acquired on Earth, a stark indication of my true humanity, revealed to no one but myself and my thoughts. I embraced the way I could feel the blood coursing through my veins, supplying my carbon based vessel beyond what the most complexly built form of artificial intelligence could comprehend. I tasted the salt of my tears on my flushed rose petal lips with slight relief that I still existed as I was, if only for the time being. I reminded myself of who I was— who the world didn’t know me to be, who I’d often forgotten or left behind for the sake of my safety; of my family’s safety.
And as I sat there, naked and distraught, I briefly wondered if I should reveal my secret to the world now that I found myself at an impasse; if I should risk it all to stay on Planet X and continue the life I’d worked so desperately hard for. To use exposing my humanity as a playing card that no one saw coming was a thought, absolutely. Astra would be in shambles if I decided to expose myself as nothing more than a mere mortal after boasting to X and Earth that they had the most realistic A.I. lifeform in the game. While it didn’t seem like such a big deal, it was in the eyes of the public and their competitors. It would tarnish their reputation forever. But the label didn’t exactly play fair, either. My lifeless body would be hurdling into the universe within the hour I told them, and they’d be after anyone else who might be affiliated with me or related to me. It was one thing to outcast an individual to the outskirts. It was a whole other to wipe out any trace of their existence at all. But they had no issues with it, so long as they saved face and crypto.
Earth hadn’t been kind to my family or me in its downfall. I didn’t come from wealth of any kind and we’d made due with humble living while we could. But we’d gotten caught in the grime the moment it all began to fall apart on a grand scale.
X was my escape.
Our escape.
I barely managed to make it out of Earth as a stowaway, let alone alive.

Hey guys, I’m sharing this folder here so you guys can use it. It’s got pretty much all of Norman Reedus’s movies. There’s some missing but these are the ones I was able to track down. Some I had to rip from DVD.
List:
The Boondock Saints 1 & 2: Highly recommend if you’ve never seen. Outdated ideas are in this but Norman and SPF are super cool and hot. Two Irish brothers get into some trouble with the russian mafia and take them out. Eventually they decide to be vigilantes and take out all the bad guys in the neighbourhood.
Air: By Greg Nicotero. Norman is Bauer. Him and Djimon Honsou are underground in a bunker where they are required to look after cryogenically frozen scientists and important people. Something happens and they start to run out of air. They end up turning on each other. Well, more Norman turns on Djimon. Pretty good movie
Sky: A french woman travelling in America with her husband ends up running away from said husband. She ends up in Vegas and meet Norman. He invites her back to his place and they grow closer but he resists her love. Norman plays Diego in this. Love this movie. This is the beginning of Norman and Diane Kruger’s real life story too. Warning for sad feels.
Sunlight Jr: I don’t really know what this one is about. All I know is Norman plays Justin, Naomi Watts’s ex boyfriend and he’s not very nice.
Hello Herman: This is about a school shooter.. Norman plays an internet personality who interviews the kid. There are flashbacks showing him going undercover in a Nazi group where he did some terrible things. I liked this one. Some nice acting from Norman
A Crime” Norman is Vincent, a guy who’s wife or girlfriend was killed by a cab driver. He’s consumed by looking for this guy. So this woman who is in love with him seduces and befriends a cab driver in order to frame him for the murder so Vincent can move on. Not a bad movie though the woman is kind of stalkery towards Norman.
Beat: Based on a true story. Norman plays the friend and lover of Courney Love’s character. It’s been a while since I saw this so I can’t really remember the details exactly.
Six Ways To Sunday: Norman play Harry a strange young man with an uncomfortably close relationship with his mother played by Debbie Harry. This has some pretty fucked up stuff in it.
Bad Seed: Norman plays Jonathan Casey. Luke Wilson is searching for the person who killed his wife. He finds out she was having an affair with Jonathan and believes Jonathan killed her. They face off and chase each other around the whole movie until the end when the truth is revealed.
Cigarette Burns: Norman plays Kirby. He works at a movie theatre and he’s contracted by a rich guy to find this lost film. Along the way he finds that there are so many tragedies surrouding this film. Everyone who sees it kills themselves or something like that.
Deuces Wild: Norman plays Marco. He’s the leader of a rival gang and kind of super evil in this. I’ve only watched bits of this.
Floating: I can’t remember Norman’s name in this one. He plays this young man who is with a gang of guys who break into houses and steal shit. He makes friends with this new guy that moves to town. There’s a lot of swimming in this.
Gossip: Norman plays Travis. Three friends spread a rumour that quickly spins out of control. Side not but Norman’s character Travis is absolutely adorable in this. Super weird but adorable.
Hero Wanted: I haven’t seen this.
Meet Me In Berlin: Short film about a guy in hospital talking to a woman he was supposed to meet before his accident. Norman’s injuries in this are actually real. He shot this while in hospital after the accident where he had to get a titanium eye socket and screws in his nose.
Meskada: I didn’t wact much of this one so I don’t really have much to say.
Messengers 2: The Scarecrow: Norman plays John, a farmer struggling to keep his farm going. He encounters ghosts and other horror stuff. Not a very good movie but worth it for Norman. Theres a quite young Clare Holt from Originals in this as Norman’s daughter. Warning: There is a scene that is very dubious consent. I’d call it rape actually.
Night of the Templar: I only barely watched this because I didn’t find it that interesting. The main character’s face reminds me of plastic to be honest. Norman’s character seems kind of smart assy. Things don’t work out so well for him.
Nobody Needs To Know: Haven’t watched this. I don’t think Norman’s in this that much.
Octane: A woman and her daughter are travelling on the highway. The daughter disappears, presumably kidnapped so her mother goes searching for her. Norman plays the tow truck driver who seems pretty shady.
Pandorum: Norman is only in this for one scene. His death scene. It’s pretty gruesome too. I’m pretty sure at the time, people thought it was a scene from The Walking Dead.
Sand: I don’t really remember much from this movie but Norman is very young in it with his blonde hair.
Tough Luck: Norman is a pretty criminal. He gets a job in a carnival and meets this woman. She’s married to the owner of the carnival so they see each other in secret. They plot to fake her death so she can run away but something goes wrong and she is killed for real. Time passes and things end up not being what they seemed.
The Conspirator: This is a historical movie with James Mcavoy. I haven’t seen it yet.
Red Canyon: Norman plays Mac. This movies needs the biggest warning. Norman is EVIL in this. Like worst of the worst. Murderer, meth addict, rapist. A group of people come back to a small town years after an event that traumatised one of the group’s sister. Something happened to her in a cave. The truth is revealed slowly. During the course, Norman as Mac hunts them down and kills a lot of them. Norman has meth teeth in this that are pretty gross lol. But yeah there is a lot of fucked up shit in this.
That’s it for now. I have to rip Moscow Chill and Until The Night from the DVDs to add.
I wish I could find Melissa Mcbride’s old movies but that’s like panning for gold.
:(
