I have little faith the developers are going to be able to tackle this issue, as it seems they have their hands full right now with all of the bad PR and stress of the failed launch of this game. I won't play GA matches any more because they are incredibly boring with again five to six players ruining it for everyone. one interesting thing in programming is the prevalence of scripting languages, which refer to programming languages that are built around "scripts" which are interpreted at run-time rather than other types of programs which are compiled into machine code and then executed. My heart aches for playing Battlefront 2 and Xmen age of apocalypse and tetris on my old modded Xbox with the bones of an eldrazi elves EDH deck with the new full art zendikar lands organized on the carpeted floor a few feet away.

It's a small trailer. Shared. Beer in the fridge. An ancient '92 jeep in the driveway. I can smell the dirt and freshly shorn hay fields down the road. The wood paneling is homely, but warm. There's a little lift trick you have to do to the door of my bedroom to get it to latch properly.

I just started a job making 13 bucks an hour. A kingly sum. We had just survived the recession. We thought it was so bad.

Polyamory In The Sims 4?!

Anyone who knows me personally knows that I have been a Sims lover since I was a wee child but specifically, the Sims 4. I've been playing it for YEARS and just recently downloaded my first mod which just so happens to be a Sims 4 essential. If you play the Sims 4, you know I'm talking about the MC Command Center.

BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM HERE TO TALK ABOUT TODAY!! About a month ago, I discovered a mod that would allow polyamorous relationships in the Sims since the base game (at least up until now) didn't allow that.

HOWEVER, with the announcement and NEW TRAILER of the newest pack, "Lovestruck" coming out on JULY 25TH, THAT SEEMS TO BE CHANGING! I even have a screenshot from the OFFICIAL ARTICLE!

"It's just a game, it's not even that serious" Yes. I am aware it is just a game. However, it's also a very popular game that many people (including myself) still play to this day despite it being almost 10 years old. It's a game made by a VERY BIG game company (Electronic Arts or EA for short) that knows what makes or breaks a game (as we've seen with EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2.)

Hopefully, this will start opening some eyes and get us all one step closer to normalizing and defeating the stigma against polyamory. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it. Maybe it will be different when the pack actually comes out.

But aside from that incredible step, there are definitely other things in this pack that I am looking forward to. WE HAVE A CANON DATING APP NOW!! SimDa, I love you and you've done your due diligence. BUT THE WAY THE SIMS 4 COMMUNITY HAS BEEN ASKING FOR A DATING APP FROM THIS DAMN COMPANY FOR SO LONG AND WE FINALLY GET IT?!

However, I am probably going to give it a while before I actually get the pack (after release of course) because there is this whole thing with bugs and patches that happens when the packs first come out and the game just doesn't run right. I want to give the pack a chance in its entirety so I'll probably let people complain first and wait for the bugs to fix to really give it a shot.

BUT AHHHHH, I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THESE NEW POSSIBILITIES! Definitely going to be sending this short essay to my partners later so AD, if you've made it this far in my little yap session, I love you both so much and once I get this pack, I'm so making us in the Sims <3

why are people so fucking weird to you ? anyways do you have any thoughts on the star wars games? any of them really but i've been having fun with the jedi games lately!

The Respawn Jedi games are genuinely very good and they also make me nostalgic for the era of like solid focused action adventure games. They also harken back to the older lucasarts games like Jedi Academy. Obviously my favorite game is the one in my header, I love Empire at War so much. It’s definitely showing its age by now and it was never the most complex game but man the naval combat in it is just always a joy and the extensive modding scene has done a ton to lengthen its lifespan.

Other solid Star Wars games are Republic Commando (a real throwback to linear shooters), Bounty Hunter, and perennial best Star Wars game Battlefront 2 (2005).

And needless to say, the kotor games need their own section. They are sublime. There’s definitely some BioWare ass moral choice stuff in the first game but man when those came out it was like holy shit to me. They blew my mind as a kid and they’re still such treats to play now. I know we’ll almost certainly never get kotor3 and that’s okay because the first two are really special games.

There’s a lot of ups and downs and variance to Star Wars games, you have some all time greats and then sometimes you have Star Wars kinect or the early days of the old republic. But I miss the lucasarts era where it was generally messier

Apparently this unofficial model was made to replace Kylo Ren in-game, so his set moves are the same (which unfortunately means no dual wielding action) but overall it still feels very in-character.

And before you ask, no there hasn't been an unmasked version of Qimir/The Stranger or if there ever will be. That's completely up to the modder.

But in any case, if you know your way around importing mods into the game, knock yourselves out! 😁
