You needed a little break from all the craziness that the last couple of challenges have brought on you and your fellow contestants. Thankfully, the one Four and X suggests was a game of hide and seek.

You opted to go hide alone, much to Book’s disappointment, but if it meant a higher chance of neither you or her getting found, then so be it.

You picked the bushes. No one suspects the local bushes.

“Finally! Ugh, I never thought I’d get a moment alone with you!”

You jolted and turned to your side to see a blue number one sitting alongside you in the bushes.

“What the?! Who are you-“

The two of you were teleported away into this room before you finished speaking your confusion for this out of nowhere Algebralien, with the two of you sat on chairs with a table in the middle.

“And to answer your question, it’s not about who I am. What you need is..whatever you need! All I ask is that you do me a favor too!”

You can’t explain it, but you really feel like you shouldn’t make a deal with this number…

“I don’t need a deal. I’m actually pretty fine with my life right now, so if you can just take me back-“

“Don’t lie to me, Y/N!”

A TV screen descended above your head, playing various moments between you and the other contestants, the more…crummy moments to be exact.

“Look at you! Helping your friends, how kind of you. I can admire that in a contestant. But when do they ever return the favor for you?”

“I don’t help to expect something in return. Besides, they totally return the favor in their own ways!”

“What? You just let them walk all over you? How much longer are you going to keep this up?”

“That’s not true. I’ve never let anything stop me before, I won’t let it now.”

One looked at you with a frown before sighing.

“You really care about the others, don’t you?”

“I do.”

“Then perhaps it would be a shame if something were to happen to them…”

Now that catches your attention as your face falls, One picks up on that as her smile returns.

“You…you wouldn’t….”

“Oh, I will. But it doesn’t have to come to that. All you need to do…”

She brings up a contract and sets it on the table.

“….is for you to sign.”

“What…DO you want?”

“A simple favor that I get to decide later.”

“It’s that simple?”

“Yes! If you need time, that’s okay too. I’m perfectly fine with just looking at you as you wait~”

“Ok, now it’s just weird. Where do I sign?”
