soooo, now that you've seen the markiplier stuff... thoughts on the characters???

Fndmgmmfkd oh I lov the characters- most characters can be fit into tropes (which isnt bad!!) But I almost feel like these are more complex in a sense? Like they have more personality and feel mor human-ish even tho they're supposed to just be egos an it's very pog. I wish there was mor content of them gkfmfk.

Uhm,, I'll start with Damien, and tbh in the beginning I didn't realize Damien and Dark were the same character- sfkskgk. I noticed it when scrolling through the comments (I tend to do that while watching videos) and it makes sense ckfkdk. Like u said Damien is a soft boi, he just has this gentle and caring kinda vibe but I like how he almost seems like a different guy when he gets all glitchy and stuff. Though to Damien's downfall, I can't take him seriously when he does get all glitchy because I just think about him laying on the table and idk why I find that so funny but I do- sjfkskfkfkkd. Also, no offence cause I know you like him a lot, but he's an absolute dweeb like why do you sit on the sink to do stuff in the mirror. Like imagine you jus pass by the bathroom and Mr.NeatandProper is sitting on the sink like a cat sjdjfjgkbkf.

Wilford has a drug addiction to his gun, he seems to enjoy every opportunity he gets to pull it out like it's a medal jdmggmek. But at the same time I like how he's more than "oh I'm coocoo blam blam gun." Like I was genuinely surprised and a little emotional when he was acting as the Kernal and showed so much care for the viewer not being dead. I mean sure he was also happy he didn't kill everybody and was hoping it was a joke but those first few seconds was jus *sips tea*. Also the Wilford Motherloving Warfstache episode was great dkgkrk. Not gonna question why he can teleport or decide to leave when being tied down when he likes but that's fine dkgkrk. I'm also weak for the stupid suspenders he has mgkdk. He has this chaotic outgoing kinda vibe and reminds me of Remus almost in a sense but doesn't make as many dirty jokes, however he is a bastard but in a loving kinda bastard-ish way.

Yancy caught me off guard but in a good way! When the viewer like first meets him I honestly thought I was going to get my but kicked and I was glad I didn't dkfkd. Also his musical bit was fabulous. I get emotional easily an I already told you but the ending bit where he doesn't come with you pulls at my heart I swear. Yancy is great and I see why you like him a lot kfkdksk. I just like his overall person in general and how he gets attached to the viewer so fast but how he jus feels the need to stay in jail to pay for what he did is aaaa??? But he also calls it a home and has a bunch of friends in there an I know he probably did soemthing to a certain degree but he has a bit of wholesomeness to him.

Illinois is just..old an idiot fkgmrmd. Very cocky and his ego is probably through the roof. Like sir please stop walking backwards into the traps why and how are you still alive. But he also as this bit of personality to him that isnt just his idiot ego but I am concerned that he's lost several partners and why he thinks several people fall in lov with him, whether they do or dont I cant say sjkfkdg. Also I like his stupid outfit I know he's supposed to be bootleg Indiana Jones but his outfit gives me too many cowboy au vibes and I've never watched Indiana Jones but I feel like he's better than Indiand Jones anyways gmdkkg. I'm a little surprised he's been to several paradises and completed differnet dungeons because normally characters that have high egos have low braincell count but maybe that's just me

Okokokokok so- ima say this one then leave u alone- Imagine, your a student at UA (mind u ur actually like dabi's age but look 15-16) and at some point something happends and that villains attack and like you end up making out with dabi or like very steamy reunion and you reveal ur a villian and like the class is like- 😳😲🤯 ~😈 (Sorry for bombarding you with dabi-)

You can bombard me with Dabi any time you like. 🤤 I’m always down to thirst about my villain boy. 🥴 Keep them coming if you like. 

Posing as a student wasn’t necessarily something you wanted to do, but you looked the youngest out of all of the LOV and they knew you could pull it off. And of course it was smart ass Dabi’s idea in the first place. You grow close with the class as you start out the year and start to build relationships with them. 

While the class and you are out on a training exercise the LOV strikes again and this time there’s only one teacher with them... who happens to not be a hero. As the students start to realize who’s coming after them they all get ready to spring into action. That’s when you start slowly walking up through the middle of them. There’s a little swing in your hips as you catch the eyes of your boyfriend in the midst of everybody. 

Dabi is walking directly next to Shigaraki, he’s his right hand man, and he’s going to make sure that everybody knows it. As you get to the edge of the group of students and the villains are standing on the other side Dabi speaks before anyone. “Well, well, well, it’s sure nice to see you sweetheart.”

The students are confused as to who he’s talking to, until they hear you take a deep breath. “Baby!” You walk forward at a quick pace, feeling the eyes of the entire class on you. You hop into his arms and his lips instantly press against yours. 

Dabi’s eyes are glued to the one kid that seemed the most annoyed by all of this. Katsuki Bakugou. Bakugou had had a crush on you since the first day he met you and you had never told him that you weren’t interested. You just let him play his sick little games and think he had a chance. 

Bakugou is the first person to step toward you. He’s in denial that you did that of your own free will. “Give her back you bastard! Which one of you had the mind control.” 

As he grabs his gauntlet and gets ready to pull the pin Dabi lifts a hand and his fire rains out upon him, stopping the ash-blonde in his tracks. “None of us have mind control you little shit. Ever think she’s just not that into you?”

You unwrap your legs from him and plant your feet slowly back to the ground. Dabi’s fingers loop themselves in your belt loops and he slowly plants kisses around your neck. He’s just pissing Bakugou off even more. “Sorry Katsuki, never meant to get your hopes up. I mean, who would I be if I wasn’t devious. I am a member of the League of Villains after all.”

as soon as i saw that a hunter x hunter musical from the year 2002 starring the OG 99 VAs existed, i knew i has to see this...so i set out and watched the nightmare of zoldyck (i would later find out that theres ANOTHER musical, which i plan to watch too)

luckily its all on youtube subbed! in 360 quality...oh hell yes lmao

actor showcase! everyone loves kurapika which, same 

ah so the director of this musical also directed the sailor moon musicals, which i didnt know existed but of course that exists...thats funny considering the hxh mangaka is married to the sailor moon mangaka 

anyways that was fun honestly!!!! i fuckgin love musicals, and musical adaptations of non-musical source materials can be like, SO different tonally, but this honestly felt like a fun filler 

it was really interesting seeing something based on the canon from this early on - as i said above, some of the characterizations (like the zoldycks) seems a bit different than we’re used to, but others were spot on - like hisoka only showing up intermittently to sow chaos and do nothing else vhjkadhbfhkjdsfnj im assuming the yorknew arc hadnt happened at this point, but hisokas actions in this musical were hilariously similar to how he acted in the yorknew arc, so, props. 

plus it was cool to see the ‘what if’ factor w/hisoka and illumi also being there, espec illumi interacting w/killua bc its so wildly different from how killua reacts to any of his other family members - hes clearly scared of illumi, in a way he isnt w/anyone else, and that was done well here w/the scene where illumi threatens killua’s friends to get killua to listen to him

also the angst was honestly great, and there was some REALLY sweet wholesome parts that i loved. and the music wasnt half bad either!!

i think the VAs did a great job playing the characters - hisokas VA was especially great (and i really loved kurapika too). gons hair was not very similar to how it looks in the show so it was a little more obvious that he was being played by a grown woman, but still a great performance. 

anyways fun times, i love musicals and this was a fun ole 2000s filler shounen musical adaptation
