@sarahmarieorr found this guy in a dumpster a while back. She sent some pictures and it looked like it had potential to be fixed. A few parts, some cleaning, and soldering later, it now plays great! It still needs some minor adjustments but other than that it sounds and looks great! Finally finished working on this 70s Memphis P bass project! This one was in rough shape when I got it, but someone had taken the time to add a Switchcraft jack, CTS pots, an orange drop capacitor, and cloth wiring. I added a set of Fender American Original '62 P bass pickups, a gold pickguard, bridge and pickup covers, and 50s style knobs. I removed all of the original finish off the body, filled a couple of dents and gashes in the body, and refinished it in a transparent white for a 50s look.
