Lately, I've been working on trying to tell stories within certain boundaries, or #plots. In this example, my goal was to do some #freeimprovisation within this minimum requirements: - Stay #lockedin with the #metronome at #125bpm - Be 'somewhere' inside the key of C minor, but still allowing my ears to create certain chord progressions. - Trying to be #melodic while still implying a #groove - Leave #space for my 'imaginary drummer,' and bandmates. ---- It's a fun exercise, and it definitely kicks my butt, while allowing to be creative inside pre-scripted situations. And, ahhh....yes, I was singing out loud and proud. You just can't hear my voice because I plugged my bass straight into the @roland_us #GoMixer. 😀🎶🎤🎤🎹 . .
